Love this local spot in our little neighborhood. It’s got a great atmosphere, cool merch, yummy pastries and delicious coffees. Whether you like black coffee or more fancy coffee drinks, you can satisfy everyone’s taste. One of our favorite go to coffee spots in town!
I absolutely love this coffee shop! Everyone is so nice, attentive and helpful. The coffee and food is so good! On My Way! Latte with oat milk is my drink of choice, a friend actually introduced it to me and now I crave it! This is my go-to coffee shop. The perfect neighborhood coffee shop is definitely CoffeeDrunk.
This place is directly across the street from one of the best neighborhood bakeries you could want with delicious pastries. I was delighted to find that CoffeeDrunk's bakery items surpassed every other coffee house's in the area, including the bakery! I'll come back for those bakery items, the service and the atmosphere.
Such a good spot for coffee they have so many regulars they’ll know you by name eventually! Their Instigator is literally a drink you’ll always come back to I found it’s actually my favorite as I’ve tried them all. Pastries always great! Ham and cheese croissants are perfect! Super nice staff always busy in the mornings :)
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Best coffee in the area imho
In the 18+ months we spent in Long Beach we never found a place that made better quality coffee than Coffee Drunk. Their espresso blend is delicious, even when made at home, and their specialty lattes and other sweetened or otherwise flavored coffee varieties were always on point with the balance of flavors and sweetness and coffee in the drink. Can't go wrong with any of their drinks! This coffee shop is one of the things I miss the most about Long Beach.
I am a regular here and been living in Long Beach for 16 years and this is hands down the best coffee in the city. My go to is the Instigator with Oatmilk half sweet but I have had every drink here including the seasonals which are always amazing. My kids love the steamer with vanilla syrup. Also their coffee beans are also great and if you buy a bag you get a free drink which is really a great deal. You won’t regret coming here
I couldn't recommend this coffee shop enough! When moving to Long Beach I was looking for a new coffee shop to frequent. The service is impeccable, the drinks are consistent and quality is amazing, and it's SUCH a vibe! The staff is SO friendly/helpful and truly made me feel right at home in a new place. Not only do they have amazing coffee, but the pastries and food are incredible. Love this establishment so much and all it offers!
Great little shop in a nice area of Long Beach. Super friendly baristas, very knowledgeable in their craft, clean restroom, plenty of seating space inside and outside. Overall a really good coffee shop. Their oat vanilla latte is one of the best I've tried so far out of probably hundreds of shops. Points for the baristas being moto enthusiasts too!
A great place full of great and kind people. Tends to be busy quite often, but there’s always the off chance that it may be quiet and not so packed. Wonderful atmosphere to study, along with all the plants. :) psa: parking can be an ass, but when u find it, its okay.
SOOOOOO good. Long beach has some great coffee gems, but knowing that their barista Christina will be at this location is always a huge selling point. Incredible pastries, a unique menu of coffee and matcha drinks. etc. Would recommend!
Great little neighborhood coffee place. Everyone is so friendly and happy. It's really nice to see. Their drink offerings are amazing too. I really like how creative the flavors are and not too sweet. The pastry offerings are delicious too.
Eclectic coffee shop in town- had a dirty chai with a croissant- very fresh and buttery . Justin - the barista was very accommodating as I am particular about my coffee !
Great little coffee shop with some amazing coffee! Came here for the first time and tried their regular drip and a latte and both were some of the best in town! The guava pastry with cheese was SO good too. I would just stay away from the Keto pastries - as someone who doesn’t know enough about Keto, I didn’t realize how different they feel/taste. Would definitely recommend this place and I’ll for sure be coming back all the time!
My sister loves CoffeeDrunk and she insisted we drive out to Long Beach to have the coffee and I’m so happy that we did! I had the Instigator with an extra shot of espresso and loved it. If you’re in the Long Beach area looking for good coffee do check this coffee shop!
My fav is the Toasted Coconut with an extra shot. I have had it a couple times now and it's always made to the strength I prefer it. Online ordering system is straight forward with a points system which makes a loyalist out of someone like me with discounts and/or freebies to accrue. I look forward to trying some of their other drinks, "Friends with Benefits" keeps winking at me from the menu. 😆
A modern cafe that serves common pastries with an unusual twist. Seems to be a popular spot for students and office escapees to work and chat. The seating feels a bit tight, though I suspect that's to encourage conversation.
Wow, customer service is great. Even when they are busy, I have gotten amazing customer service. It’s the little things that go a long way. Like when I asked for simple syrup, the person made it a great experience, even offered me a coffee straw to stir. It’s those little details that makes me feel valued as a customer. Menu is unique, lots to chose from and drinks are DELICIOUS! I’ve ordered americanos and the coffee is tasty, like a nice medium roast. Love the cups and aesthetic, too. It makes the experience a lot of fun. Great team, great work. Thank you! 🖤☕️
I am very picky when it comes to coffee. This place always serves delicious coffee and the staff is super kind. Can be a bit pricey, but if you stay here for hours, you get: good coffee, free wifi, friendly residents who stop by, cute pets that are people friendly, and good music. So it justifies a $7 latte. After a few minutes, I always find a parking spot, but street parking is a Long Beach issue in general. I love the seasonal menu, always delicious.
This is my go to spot for coffee, to work on my laptop, or to get an incredible pastry. I've tried many local coffee shops since moving to Long Beach, but CoffeeDrunk far surpasses any of the others I've visited. They have fast internet, an aesthetic work environment, great music always, and the staff is so friendly. That's not even mentioning how great their food and drinks are. The blueberry brown sugar latte is literally the best coffee drink I've ever had. I'm sitting here drinking it and it's so good I felt compelled to write this review. I'm not a big breakfast person but I find myself getting a pastry every single time I come here because they're just so good. The butter croissant is the best I've had, which isn't a surprise considering everything they serve seems to be the best. If you're local to Long Beach or just passing through, you have to come try CoffeeDrunk.
Great cup of cappuccino and strong coffee blends.
Went here on a weekday morning and it was super busy. There was no indoor seating left but luckily there was a couple open tables outside. The crowd really died down around lunch time. Great place to work and have a cup of coffee.
Walked by and the delightful smell of coffee made me stop. I got an iced latte. So good!! Staff is so friendly!! There’s an outside spot as well and seating inside.

I miss this place so much. I left LB a few years ago and goddamn this place makes the literal best drinks on the west coast IMO.
Coffee Drunk is my go-to stop on the way to work! Their drinks are so flavorful and really keep me energized throughout my long days behind the chair. I get the Instigator — it’s delicious and gives me the perfect boost. Highly recommend to any coffee lover! ☕️✨
Great coffee, good variety, friendly and courteous baristas. Good pastries and snacks. Nice ambiance suitable for study and quiet conversation. Interesting part of town. Across the street from the world famous Gusto Bread.

Friendly quick service, suggestive and helpful for 1st timers which is welcoming. Clean, nautrals with gorgeous folage for decor! Plenty of seating indoors. There's a Coffee and pastries menu... today we tried the Blueberry Brown Sugar Latte with Oatmilk! The espresso hit the spot!
I love the drinks, especially the instigator. I gave it 4 stars, as it’s not a quick spot, you should average around 20-30 min to get your drink. Theres 2 people working, which is likely impacting the wait time. But this has been a pattern for the last few visits I’ve had here.
Came in here during my morning walk with high expectations. While nothing was bad, nothing blew me away either. The menu is pretty small but everything sounded good. I went with an iced matcha tea that ended up being very yummy but very expensive! $6 for 12 oz - even much more than Starbucks! The food looked delicious so I will definitely be back to try that end the inside is adorable. It almost feels like a little boutique that sells coffee.

Good WiFi and the dirty chai I got was delish. There is no parking lot so you will need to find street parking.
Super friendly staff, plenty of seats. Did feel a little sticky/grimy, but that is expected when a cafe has been open for several hours. Place would be perfect if it was open a little later. Need more nighttime spots here in Long Beach for studying and working... don't let Library Coffeehouse monopolize that - yes, they have their place, but I'm tired of em 😭
Had the instigator 7/10 I think some cinnamon would be perfect for this latte. Overall I liked the vibe of the place. I would love to try the matcha when I come back. I love it when a coffee shops have their own creations.

This is my girlfriends favorite place in town so I'm here all the time picking up coffee for her but I wouldn't recommend coming if you are in a hurry. The people that work here are very nice but they spend more time talking with each other than making the coffee.
Small spot. Small menu and not many choices on the bakery food at the time I visited, which was about 1pm or so. I did enjoy the drink I purchased and I plan on visiting again because I did enjoy the drink I purchased- I just forgot which one I purchased.

Doesn't list prices on the menu. Can't order without or light ice. Google wants my review... Making your own coffee is much better. More organic options should be available given how heavily coffee beans are sprayed with pesticides and chemicals. "Conventional coffee is among the most heavily chemically treated foods in the world. It is steeped in synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides – a real mouthful with a bad taste." Personally, I got a 1zpresso k manual grinder and Ikea's Vardagen to make cold brew in. I do use a couple coffee filters to improve the taste when pouring. I've done a lot of research, looking for espresso, opting for a manual press, but then I learned that cold brews extract the most caffeine. Beans should be ground chunkier for cold brew, I referred to pictures on a couple sites and reddit recommendations. The menu here is a touch extra.
The coffee was served at a lukewarm temperature. There's nothing worse than a cup of lukewarm coffee, especially on a cold chilly day.
First time trying Coffee Drunk Long Beach. My go to is always honey, cinnamon oat milk latte. I ordered it warm with a triple shot. The atmosphere was cute. The service wasn’t friendly, not rude, but not friendly. I didn’t feel there was enough honey, I couldn’t drink my latte. I asked them to add more, they wanted to charge me after my drink was over $8 and honey was apart of my order. Instead of being charged $5 for honey, I ordered a new drink. IDK why I chose to go with their blueberry special latte..not a recommendation from me. Being a coffee connoisseur, I’m trying to figure out if the workers didn’t dial in correctly or if the roast of the bean is what i’m not a fan of. $16 for my experience wasn’t worth it—with love
Nice spot. Went specifically for hot chocolate and all I tasted was the milk and a hint of chocolate. I'd imagine stick to the coffee.

Definitely come here if you want to get mad dogged for asking questions when they don’t have the menu visible anywhere while you wait in line.
I placed a pick up order, never tried this place. I come in when it isn't that busy and literally no one acknowledged me, they're all busy socializing. Since it's my first time, I'm not aware there is a counter in the corner in which they place that their pick ups so I just stand by where they're giving people their drinks, still with zero acknowledgement. Finally have to flag someone down to tell them I placed an order 12 minutes ago. The person points to the small counter in the corner like everyone is supposed to know automatically what the system is here even though it isn't clearly marked. Maybe if y'all weren't too busy chatting one of you could have actually offered service. I shouldn't have to wave you guys down to get you to acknowledge me. Read the room. Also can barely taste the espresso in my latte. So it wasn't even worth the wait or annoyance. I wanted a latte not cup of hot overly sweet milk.
My first time in @7:30 to this nice place. Purchased a Earl grey tea. Nothing special. Typically $3at most places. Received 12oz leaf tea for $4:41 requested $1.00, 2.00 , 3.00 tip. Mind you this isn’t even OOLONG tea. More $. I asked for bigger cup 16oz. for the price I paid. Got resistance. Now my tip is no longer working for me. Hesitantly she did. No smile and customers looking at me like I’m about to create a scene. I left very dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not go back. Tell me. What is the appropriate tip? Based on my service.
Coffee drunk used to be my go to coffee place, however- there is something shady going on, all my favorite baristas there who have worked there for years seemingly all vanished overnight. No disrespect for the newcomers, but the service is much less fast nor friendly, and the coffee suffers. Worst of all, my yelp review got flagged/ taken down by the cafe despite me only speaking from experience as a long time customer. Something is shady about this and it hurts that my old favorite coffee spot won’t respond to my criticism of their practices.
I’ve been a loyal customer at Coffee Drunk on Atlantic ever since my household left Starbucks, believing we had found a better coffee experience. Unfortunately, after my most recent visit, I’m starting to think we made the wrong choice—not because of the coffee itself, but because of how customer service is handled. I ordered three large Instigators, but the barista made them incorrectly. Instead of remaking the drinks properly, they just added more ice and milk, completely diluting the coffee. When I asked for a shot of coffee to fix the drink, I was told there would be an extra charge because the size was wrong—even though the mistake wasn’t mine. There was no apology, no effort to make it right, just a dismissive response that left me feeling like my business didn’t matter. Mistakes happen, but what really defines a place is how they handle them. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority here. I’ve supported this place for a long time, but after this, I’ll just take my business elsewhere to a coffee shop that values its regulars.
