Food was so amazing! We had the seasonal fish and bacon wrapped medallions and both were amazing! Sixto provided exceptional customer service! He helped me pick an amazing drink flavor. Would recommend this place and Sixto’s service.
Andre and Geronimo provided truly exceptional food service that elevated the entire dining experience. From the moment we arrived, their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm demeanor stood out. They anticipated our needs with seamless timing, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every detail was perfect throughout the meal. Their coordination and genuine hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel valued and cared for. Andre and Geronimo exemplify what outstanding service should be—efficient, gracious, and unforgettable.
Thought I did my review already! My daughter and I were in LA about 3 weeks ago. I must say, this was some of the most flavorful food I've had! I ordered the Cajun chicken and EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING was piping hot and the flavors did a dance on my tongue! Ambiance was nice, pleasant waiter, and good surroundings. If in LA again......DEF repeat!!!
came here for lunch as it was nearby and I get tooo many craving for a sangria!!! they have a really good one and the kind I like many other places put nothing inside it!! I ended up ordering more food than I planned they had a updated menu and got fried calamari which I loved!!! I also had a second drink because they had a rose cava from Spain and I'd been there traveling and love that drink!!! great meal today since I happen to also love Spanish food!! I'm half Asian but I must have some of many forign cultures in me to love many different kinds of food!! I didn't even order there homemade pasta!!
This was my 1st time eating at a Brazilian restaurant and I will def come back or recommend this place to anyone. The menu is very over whelming to look at because of its extensive options. I ordered the cheese bread which tasted really good. I also had the kibe which tasted great as well, it reminded me of Haitian Kibe. My main course was the manuella. They gave a lot of shrimp. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye which was very well seasoned. I overheard someone order a passion fruit mimosa which looked good! I ordered the sangria which didn't taste like an average sangria. It tasted like it had champagne. The service was quick and the staff is very attentive and friendly!!
COVID what???!! This place took the pandemic as an opportunity to turn their parking lot into a Covid/cautious stylish dinner spot—and the staff is rad!! Delicious food, great place, and fun staff. What more do you need? Good value?? Yep—they have that too. 😉 There was a wait, but we were able to walk around and they texted us when ready—15 minutes for a party of 5. Go here! It’s fantastic.
Came for dinner on Saturday night. Didn’t have to wait long and and everything was extremely good, with great portion sizes! We all ordered sides of plantains, black beans, french fries and most of us scraped our plates clean. I ordered the stroganoff with beef, which comes with a vodka sauce, very good. I will definitely come back here, or try one of the other locations.
first time dining here and it was amazing! food was incredible, and our server Andre was so attentive, kind, and warm :) would definitely recommend for everyone to come by and dine! thank you Andre!!!
Food never disappoints! The Chicken Piccata is 10/10 ( photo attached) But the Sun-dried tomato pasta has a delicious cream sauce that wasn’t too creamy like Alfredo, it hit the spot with the sweet and tangy flavors you grab from those sun-dried tomatoes. Ask for the complimentary focaccia🤤🤤🤤 , it’s “bussin” as the kids say. I can’t forget, our server Kayla, was also top-notch, providing the group with menu recs and excellent customer service.
Alex Miranda attended us very well and kindly. Food was delicious and price is fair. Every time we are in LA, we will be back.
The food is always the best! We had churrasco, which is our favorite. André who was taking care of us, made us feel so welcome and was so proactive!
This is some if the best food I've had in a long time. We ordered the Churrasco Brazilian Bbq for 2 for $70. It was a ton of food and could really feed 3. The sausage was amazing, all the meat was great. The rice and beans mixed with the salsa and yucca flour was awesome. The yucca fries were very good, like very dense potatoes, still crisp. It came with shoestring fries, which were ok, but could have been left out since you have the far superior yucca fries. The Cheesebread was very flavourful and chewy. Frankly I would rather have a couple more Cheesebreads than those shoestring fries. The plantains were a really great sweet to end the meal with. Sweet, chewy edges, soft centers. This meal was a great value and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to try it. As someone not very familiar with Brazilian cuisine, it was nice having this put together for me. I also had a cortadito espresso which was lovely. Thick, smooth, flavourful, mildly sweet. Not at all bitter. Really loved this place. If I lived here, I'd be here all the time. The vibe was great, staff was very nice and helpful. If you're around Hollywood you should definitely stop by.
Food is amazing, real brazilian flavors!! we ordered the Churrasco (full BBQ) for 2 and we were 3 and had plenty leftovers, so our next day was a feast too. Service is always amazing, Martha is a great waitress so kind and professional. We love dinning in (the patio is beautiful) and also take out is great. The truffle mushroom pizza is spectacular! And cocktails so good we felt like being in Brazil. We’ll keep coming and bringing our friends and dates! Thanks!
Bday dinner for my beautiful wife at this new spot and have found our new favorite Brazilian restaurant. We were seated almost immediately. Enjoyed the clean and delicious food. Food was sooo flavorful and delicious. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be. We live 2 miles away, and we'll be back soon . Thank you for giving my fam and I an amazing and excellent service.
I like coming to this place because of the crispy and crunchy Calamari 🦑 because it’s to die for ! I always get a steak 🥩 well done with the side roasted vegetables 🥕🥦🫑🌶️🧅and a double portion of rice 🍚 with their pico de gallo and yucca flour 👌🏼 as well. My favorite late rapper Nipsey Hussle, Rest In Peace ✝️, had a song called 10 toes and he mentioned Bossa Nova and eating the same dish. Also my fiancé had a beautiful gender reveal here for me and the manager Katia and the staff were so great and attentive always right on time with appetizers and drinks . They’re always friendly at every location and it’s the reason we keep coming back . Worth every dollar 👏
Andre is amazing. My family and I come here a lot and he is always so so helpful and takes time to take care of us.. The amount of friendliness he naturally gives is amazing. Geronimo is also very very helpful with getting our drink orders and coming back to make sure that we are well taken care of. It’s hard to find customer service this good anymore and we will continue to come back as long as they are working here.
It stays open till 3:30 AM for take out and outdoor dining. FYI they tack on an 18% gratuity after 11PM. The salmon is great and the lasagna. The crowd will be hip and ultra urban so it can be a bit lively and rowdy . Get a table up front to the left if you want a peaceful dining experience. I think they might take reservations if not the line will be long AF at night. Its like being in a rap video and its interesting people watching
Margarita was amazing!! So caring, amazing, kind, attentive and a hard worker! She was so friendly with us and made my friend’s bday so special!! The vegan food was amazing!(got the vegetarian bowl wild mushroom) and the atmosphere was very nice, even other nice fun friendly customers.
Very nice restaurant. No reservation is necessary; we walked up and were greeted and seated. The restaurant was not crowded at all; it was in the middle of the day, a very quiet place to have a nice, tranquil lunch. The service was great; like I said, the restaurant was not crowded, and the waiter was very attentive. Parking is in the back, free of charge. I wish we knew that before paying the meter on the street. 😫 The food was delicious; you do get a generous amount of food, which is nice. It is a small restaurant, so there may be a wait if you go on a busy day. I would definitely eat at Bossa again.
One thing is certain is that you will not come out hungry from this place because their portions are huge! See the pics for reference. The food is really flavorful. The Stroganoff is my favorite and you get to pick 2 sides of your choice. The service was decent. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced, but that's not a big deal. You must wear a musk when entering, the sitting areas are spaced out nicely and the tables are pretty far apart from each other.
We went to Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine to celebrate my sister's graduation 🎓. We called in advance to make a reservation. The moment we got there, the gentleman at the door was really nice. The inside was cute. We got a table outside and it was perfect! They had decorated for the graduates of 2023... It was awesome. The food was great!!! The prices were really affordable. We truly recommend it!
I've been dining at Bossa Nova for several years now. Martin is my go to server, he's always been super friendly and never lets your drink run out, he's a fantastic server and is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The food is always amazing, the restaurant itself is a good atmosphere. You won't be disappointed when dining in.
Wow. So it’s been a VERY LONG TIME since I’ve went somewhere to eat with such exceptional customer service. I went on a Friday evening with my uncle and brother and time flew by unbeknownst to us! We were there for a while just enjoying each other’s company, the ambiance, and the amazing food. We shared the cheese bread, Dutch fries then my uncle got a steak platter with several sides, my brother got the seafood pasta, and I got the manuella pasta. Everything was superb and I can’t wait to go back.
Overall beautiful experience on our vacation. Expectations were running high based and referral from a friend, and Bossa Nova didn't fail to deliver. I would go out of my way to visit again despite so many great restaurants in the area.
This is an after a night of clubbing in Hollywood spot. The food is amazing, Brazilian based and the flavors are on point. The meats are cooked to our liking and the table cheese bread is a must. The best dish of the night was desert, their Tiramisu with a side of vanilla ice cream was unexpectedly amazing. Great spot just beware that parking is very limited. Highly recommend this spot!
I admit that either we took a lot of food or the portions were very big, especially the ones with 3 sides. We had 2 starters (fried yucca, and 3 traditional dumplings), a pub steak and grilled shrimps each with 3 sides and a starter salad; 2 glases of prosecco and 2 beers = 148$ plus tip We couldn’t eat more than half of the main courses. The entire food is made on the spot, it tasted delicios and again, the portions were too big. We had only one desert (brasilian lemon cake) which l personally do not recommend…maybe just because l was full 😬 The waiters are seniors and the service is old quality fashion. More tips for the waiters.🤗💞from outside you won’t give them too much credit, but give them a chance and enter … 😇
WOW! This small LA chain cranks tasty flavorful Brazilian dishes for shockingly affordable prices for Los Angeles! Staff is friendly all around, ambience is simple Brazilian themed decor in a bright open modern environment. $12 3 Crispy, Deep Fried Brazilian Pastries, we got the chicken and beef, both were fantastic! $16 Chicken Bowl...two firm, juicy, tender chicken thighs grilled perfectly and sensationally seasoned with a secret mix of Brazilian spices. These float on top of a colorful and flavorful mix of Brazil sides including roast veggies, black beans, collard greens, roasted potatos, salsas...all floating on some wild quinoa, absorbing all those heavenly flavors form above. YUM! $21 Traditional Brazilian Chicken plate...two firm, juicy, tender chicken thighs grilled perfectly and sensationally seasoned with a secret mix of Brazilian spices(copy paste!). Side of sweet plantains, roasted veggies, and a cup of Brazilian Feijoada: hot Black Bean Stew simmered with Smoked Pork and Beef, and a secret blend of Brazilian spices. YUM! $6 Orange Cake...a lovely light cake for dessert! BONUS: This location is open till 4am...love that!
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, complemented by a diverse menu with options to suit all tastes. I chose Aurelio's Fave, which was absolutely delicious. However, the real highlight for me was the Power Grains—so flavorful that I could have easily enjoyed two servings! Simply outstanding!
Wow this place delicious. I ordered the prime steak with mash potatoes and roasted vegetables it was so good. It's reasonable pricing. I had a drink a strawberry margarita it was pretty good. The service was great too. They have outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outdoor very nice ambience definitely recommend it will be back again. Parking is kind of difficult you have to find street parking which in Hollywood as you all know is mission impossible.
I had the best experience here! Although it was a very busy night, I was seated as soon as 10min from the time I got there. The team works very efficiently together. My server was Andre and he was so sweet, patient and overall a great person. I was so grateful to have had him take care of us, not only was he very attentive, I saw how amazing he multitasked all of us with ease and grace. We had a great night thanks to him!! Definitely the best bossa nova experience i’ve had compared to other locations. They have it in lock here :)
Some of the best Brazilian food I have ever tasted! We ate here 3 times in 3 days! Portion sizes are large and the food taste's very authentic. Prices are also very competitive!
The food, the service, and the vibes here are incredible. My boyfriend and I ate here our first night visiting LA. The churrasquinho sandwich was absolutely amazing as was the chicken pesto wrap. Our server also gave us recommendations for things to see while we were visiting the city which was really sweet of her! We were too full to try the dessert menu but all of it looked delicious. Definitely will be back if we find ourselves back in LA!
Honestly, chose this place because when I was in the search of “something different” for lunch in LA, I spotted their Frango com Catupiry Pizza on the menu… i just knew I had to go and try it. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly and told to have a seat anywhere I would like. Alex Miranda helped me with ordering one of their signature Brazilian drinks called Caipirinha (Passion Fruit is what I chose) and assured me my choice in the pizza was the best. When I got my pizza, no lies were told, honestly, the best!! Definitely a good choice after two great hikes.
From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and communicative. Let us know how long (which wasn’t long at all) the wait would be and even checked in with us periodically. The food and service was great. Our server Tyler was phenomenal. He gave great recommendations, explained menu items and was friendly and smiley! Actually the best server I’ve had in 4 years I’ve been in LA. Top notch. Yay Tyler! It was a fairly busy Friday and it didn’t feel chaotic or like anyone was being ignored. Staff even apologized for some changes and delays which weren’t even a big deal or very noticeable which meant a lot. They go over and beyond for sure and you can tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs and the customers bossa nova serve.
I had a wonderful experience with the dinner service. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and well thought out—comfortable, warm, and perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff Andre was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly throughout the night.
The food was great for the price point and was prepared quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect with lovely bossa nova music playing. But the main attraction was the service. We came for my older sister’s birthday, and was surprised with a GIANT slice of cake and icecream. It was a complete surprise and it made our day. Thank you to Alex Miranda for the hospitality.
This place came highly recommended on our trip to LA. We had the fish of the day dish and it was delicious. It was like a chicken picata but with fish and mashed potatoes instead of pasta. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were lovely. The sautéed greens had good flavor but we would have preferred a vegetable with more bite like an asparagus to balance out the soft fish and potatoes. The empanadas were really good. Very flaky pastry and the fillings were good. The sauce was interesting. We weren't a fan of the cheese breads. They were very dense and I wasn't keen on the kind of cheese they used. The red velvet cake and caramel fudge cheesecake should not be missed. They were exceptional. I was not a fan of the passionfruit margarita. Service was friendly but we noticed that our server was nowhere to be found for most of our visit. It took us awhile to get the check. Overall it was a good experience and we would definitely visit again.
WOW!!! What an experience my wife and i had celebrating her birthday. The service was Amazing, the food was remarkable the prices reasonable. I will definitely go back there and will highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. Hopefully i can persuade my boss to have a company dinner here. You cant go wrong with this place. Alvaro was not our server but he was training someone at the moment and good for him to guide the new servers to become as Amazing and attentive as he is. Our server which we did not get her name but was ok. The freshness and the flavor of everything in our plates that we had indulged that afternoons was worth more of what we had paid for i would personally say. There is not enough space for how much i would like to express the rest of our experience but just look at these pictures pure Masterpiece spreading our combined two tables. which if we had a bigger appetite we would add more and would definitely enjoy every single plate.

My wife and I had an appetiser and main each and the food was superb. Well impressed. Adding Lavazza coffee was the cherry on the cake.

Wonderful! We had lemon/garlic chicken, tenderloin grain bowl and pizza. All really delicious, good portions and reasonably priced.
The Pao de Queijo (cheese breads) are the perfect appetizer. My go-to entree is the picanha - it’s always flavorful (get it rare/medium rare - NEVER get it well-done) only side you need to order are the fries - they are addicting. If you find my review helpful - please give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to like my pics and follow me for more reviews of my LA adventures!
If you are in the mood for some Brazilian food, here is a good place to stop. We started with some Linguica Frita with Yucca and some cCaipirinhas, followed but a Summer Beet salda which was delicisous and then enjoyed some grilled meats and chicken with rice, black beans and plantians. The ambiance is nice, and the location combinient for dinner on Sunset Boulevard with parking in the back so its easy to go in Sunset Blvd. For more info IG @journeythruflavors
We liked this place, their food was good, they don't quite get to 5 stars in any of the categories, the steak was overcooked, service wasn't outstanding for what this place costs and the atmosphere is not that impressive. Just good enough. For our group of 4 adults and a boy, they included the service charge of 28 dollars, so I didn't feel compelled to leave any additional tip. My bill came up to 198.00, keep in mind our boy ordered an 8.00 burger and by the way, didn't eat it because it was burnt. I couldn't really tell you that I will go back... Most likely not... Thank you for reading my review!!!
My friends and I stopped by here to end the night celebrating a bachelor party. They don't take reservation ahead of time so you have to join the waitlist before heading to the restrauant. They also don't have their own private parking lot so it's basically street parking here. It's not the safest area or best because of the homeless people you might encounter while walking to the restrauant like we did on a Monday night. When we arrived, I told them I was on the wait list and they seated us right away inside. The interior is decorated nicely and I was told they have more seating in the back. We started off with the Garlic Bread, chicken fingers and deluxe Dutch fries. I personally loved the Chesse Bread and Chicken Fingers, I didn't touch the deluxe Dutch fries since I'm not a fan of Gorgonzola Chesse. Also FYI, they don't have ranch here even though the blue chesse that comes with the Chicken Fingers tasted like ranch and I don't like blue chesse either. My friends also got the Caipirinha drinks as well. For my entrée, I got the Grilled Skirt Steak with rice and double fries. My friends all got the Coulate Steak (Picanha) Plate which they basically loved. I thought my Skirt Steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare so it was very flavorful and chewy which I loved. My friends got the fried plantains, mashed potatoes and also an extra side of salad as well. Every dish was delicious to us and the service was alright. I was just sad that it the coke wasn't unlimited refill since it came in a bottle. To finish off the night, we got my friend the Cortadito coffee and he loved it.
I had a really nice experience overall. The food was tasty and well-prepared, the atmosphere felt comfortable, and everything came together perfectly. It was an enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely consider coming back again.
Surprisingly good restaurant in the middle of Hollywood and Highland area. The decor is sparse inside but cleaning appropriate. Didn't dine on the outdoor patio but it looked very nice. Food was served quickly, perfect portion size and delicious. Good wine selection and attentive staff. Front patio not wheelchair accessible as tables are all bar height. Indoor and patio have plenty of tables for accessible seating.
Overall a solid meal. The ceviche had a very strong kick with the jalapeño. If you don’t like spicy, definitely remove the pepper. But we enjoyed the spice. The picana platter was enough to feed us both. I’ve been to Brazil a dozen times and was used to the picana being sliced thin and also with a larger fat cap. The steak at bossa nova was ok. Was a little tough and wasn’t bursting with flavour that I got spoiled with. But for the quantity and price, it’s a repeat.
this place used to be soooo much better. i've been going for 25 years and love the food but the portions have gotten SO SMALL and the price have just gone up and up. it just doesnt make sense anymore.

I'm Brazilian and vegetarian, I tried the vegetarian sandwich and it was very bad, the burger was burnt and dry, the cheese was also dry, very spicy, a mistake they make with vegetarian food, they put too much spice in an attempt to make it taste good and try to make the burger look like meat. I'll try something different next time, but I was very disappointed with the sandwich. The atmosphere should make customers feel like they're in Brazil, but that didn't happen for me.
The combination of the late open hours and an extensive menu make this place a great choice to dine at when no where else is open. Parking is a bit difficult and if you dine in after 10pm there is a 20% auto gratuity on any size party. The Camarao a Brasileira (Shrimp & Bread) was my favorite dish and was the highlight of my night. The bread was buttery and crispy. The shrimps were well seasoned and the side of chopped tomatoes/onions were juicy and fresh. The meat on both entrees were average. Could have been better, could have been worst. The fries were a tad too crispy. The chicken and steak were a bit bland and dry. The meal for 2 came out to almost exactly $100. A little pricey for what you get. However I was very full and still satisfied with my meal/experience. I would totally come back if I’m looking for a sit down restaurant after or around midnight. Anytime before then I would go somewhere else.
The food at Bosanova is still fresh and delicious. Great service! The reason for my 3 star review has to do with the location and the surrounding area. So sad, but this part of the City needs a little TLC. Very rundown. My friend and I didn't feel safe and were glad we weren't in the area after night fall. Bosanova has done a good job in keeping the storefront of their restaurant up as best as possible though. Parking is also limited on the streets, metered.
Food was absolutely amazing, but the plate was ridiculously small. We got asked by the server if something was missing and sad: “Yes, the plates.” And he went on to say the little tea plates were THE plates. Absolutely ridiculous. Not usually a Karen but this caused the whole table to have fallen rice on it.
The service, location and and decor was all great - Bossa Nova is a very cozy spot to eat. The menu is a little bit all over, offering options like pizzas and Italian pastas and I wish they just would have stuck to authentic Brazilian cuisine. My friend got a feijoada bowl and I got a traditional chicken breast from the grill. For me, it was a relatively dry plate - i'm not sure if I was expected to order a sauce of some kind, but if so, I would have loved some guidance from our waiter. Not bad, but definitely one of the more forgettable meals I had during my stay in LA.
- With multiple open tables around us we was still sat about a foot from other diners. No social distancing displayed. - What is a "service charge" it sounds allot like tip/ gratuity. Then the waitress who did not know the menu comes back to heckle for more money. So who gets the service charge? The owners? Do they make less then their employees? - 2 stars was for the food. It was delicious.
I come here often with my friends and the food never disappoints. But last night we came to eat here and today we all got really sick. We all have been throwing up from the food we got. Very disa…
We waited over 15 min on a Monday night at 2:30 in the morning when the restaurant was empty. We e asked continuously for the hostess name so we could write this review and they told us her name wa…
I am sorry to post such a bad review but we ordered 3-6 person dinners =18 servings! We received portions for 4-5 guests at our dinner party. There was no time to fix the problem, our housekeeper end…
Horrible service, long wait for the waiter with an attitude! First and last visit! Garbage restaurant on 3/24/23. Couple next to us has two dogs!
I do not recommend! As a Brazilian, I wanted to visit, because in Brazil this restaurant is good, and here... I can say that this is not a coxinha, it was very dry, the main thing was missing, which is the catupiry! The banana was soaked in old oil, you could feel it. The feijoada was good. The pudding wasn't that soft, they need to improve that. The cheese bread appears preheated.
As a Brazilian I always get a “CHICKEN CATUPIRY” PIZZA TO GO… today my cravings and wishes were not met, as the size of the portion was mini, and the pizza was burnt, I asked for extra cheese and I believe I did not get the right amount of cheese (or extra) and neither the regular normal amount of chicken. Under I’ll post a pizza from 4 days ago from a order that did not have (extra cheese) in the order and it still looked way better and bigger than todays order. (Bought at the sunset location) I don’t know what did not allow them to meet the criteria of the pizza, but if you can’t deliver the same quality of service to a product you sell each time you sell it. I believe it’s better to put it out of stock and try harder until you get it right. Besides, I always call and get my order over the phone, and I understand that it might be late nor very busy, but it’s a common thing. As I called in after trying to order online and the website not allowing me to do so. A worker said he wouldn’t mind doing my order since it was a pizza that needs 20 minutes to be done, and I would be driving down to pick it up, but he said he would double check with the manager. Then someone superior if not the manager come to the phone and just told me “sorry, you have to presently be here to order” I hung up, drove 12 mins down, got there… ordered my pizza and was asked to wait “20 minutes” outside. Then got my pizza “44 minutes later, as I walked up and asked twice for the pizza to a worker, and it was just seating there in the counter at the little heating compartment… So I didn’t mind the wait. I was too hungry to complain and they were busy. I understood things happen. I drive back home and I FINALLY get to eat my “EXTRA CHEESE Frango com CATUPIRY pizza”. I’ll leave the picture down bellow of the pizza I got a few days ago to the left and the pizza I got today. ( I don’t believe I even need to explain which is which, you will know which one was todays unsuccessful order). Made me regret driving down to buy it and I’m so ashamed I called my friend to come share it with me. (Since it’s usually a decent size for any regular pizza) This time it came SMALL, burnt and with no extra cheese, very little catupiry and mozzarella cheese was thrown all of it as if they ran out of catupiry and didn’t communicate about it. Can’t even think about the little chicken scoop the spread thru the whole pizza Really sad and might not be ordering there again. Rather choose anything else but to go on that location. Hope you all fina solution to a better deliverance to your costumers orders from now on. The only great thing was the host at the door. (June 1 at 2:30am)!!
I ordered the Cajun Alfredo pasta with chicken. The chicken was extremely salty. I alerted the staff and the manager came over. I informed him that my chicken was salty and he went on to explain how they use cajun seasoning and that was the reason for the chicken being salty. As if it was ok and I was just supposed to accept that and eat the chicken. I told him I'll just eat the pasta instead and that I didnt want the chicken. He got upset and told me to give him the chicken. Maybe he took the chicken to the kitchen to inform the chef that it was spicy, idk. It just wasn't a good experience. He didn't apologize or anything, he just took the chicken and walked away. I was respectful and calm so I was at a lost at how he acted. Establishments need to understand that customer service is everything and he was rude and dismissive. Then when I receive my bill I noticed there was a kitchen appreciation charge smh.....These restaurants are really getting out of hand with all the weird charges they try and make you pay. I don't have to pay anything other than what I ordered and taxes. I paid my bill, tipped my waiter and left. I walked right pass the manager on my way out and he just kept quiet lol....There's that lack of customer service I was talking about. People show you how they really feel about you just off their body language. Overall terrible experience. I won't be back.
During my visit to Bossa Nova, I experienced some of the worst service l've had at a restaurant. Our server Martin (pictured below) never came to take our food order after getting our drinks, leaving us waiting for an unreasonably long time before we had to flag the manager down to take our order. Throughout the meal, there was no effort to check on us, refill drinks, or ensure we had what we needed. To make matters worse, the food took an excessive amount of time to arrive, with no updates or apologies for the delay. It felt like we had been completely forgotten, and by the end of the meal, I was beyond frustrated. When I finally asked for the bill, I requested to speak with the manager, hoping to share my concerns so the service could improve in the future. Instead of listening and acknowledging the issue, the manager immediately dismissed my experience, insisting that the server was great and implying that my complaint wasn't valid. I wasn't looking for a free meal-I simply wanted my feedback to be taken seriously so that others wouldn't have to deal with the same poor service. Instead, I left feeling unheard and disappointed, with no confidence that anything would change. I WILL NOT BE BACK
