Cosa dicono i clienti di Gallery Bar
Gallery Bar offers a mixed experience. The ambiance and historical setting are highlights, but service and food quality are inconsistent. Some praise the attentive staff (like Barbara), while others report slow service and mediocre food. Drinks are hit-or-miss.

Such a cool place! Great drinks and kudos to bartender for circling automatic 20% tip!!
Saturday at the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball, we wanted something to eat and decided on the Gallery Bar. We wanted something substantial but no leftovers. We ordered the filet mignon with shoestring fries medium rare, water, and a Moscow Mule (served in a disposable plastic cup…sigh). Our server had the split the order and our filet was perfect! The steak sauce that came with it complimented the meat as well as the fries. Great bar food no dessert.

We stopped by for drinks, and it was a really great time. The cocktail menu was incredible, the staff was so friendly—shout out to Barbara, can’t wait to come back for the full dining experience when it’s ready!

Nice old joint!!! I need a stooge to match the mood and my drink!!!
Ambience is great, for quick bites 👍🏻. Quiet and service was good as well. This is inside the Biltmore Hotel. I liked the Caesar salad that I ordered. The dessert is just okay. Good to meet someone and have a little talk.
I must say their service and staff were all very helpful and kind. I would recommend here for a quick bite, not a complete meal. It's bar food! The Brussel sprouts stood out. The fried salmon app was a bit too fishy. The steak tacos were tough. Sadly, our fries weren't very hot. We were in a hurry so we didn't complain. We appreciated that we got our food quickly and we were not late to our event.
It’s a great place to have a drink, really a magical place. Moreover, if you need to have some food, it's better to stick to the essentials. Be prepared to spend."

Limited menu but decent quality food. Attentive staff and not too loud. Cozy feel with a lot of tables for 2. Great place to go if you're eating late in the hotel because the neighborhood at night is gross.

With all honesty I was not very impressed by the bar. Don't get me wrong, the entire hotel is gorgeous and loaded with history and amazing real pictures from back in the time. However I found the bar very lacky. Maybe I was expecting some jazz music in the background, or maybe some piano keeping in mind the atmosphere where the bar is located. I found the opposite: a big screen playing sports, no music at all, and then the whiskey sour I ordered (with egg white) was sort of bad. The sliders were good though, and the bartender was kind. Surprisingly enough, this is not a place to go in a date after a movie. (All pictures taken with Pixel 3 XL)
Opulent atmosphere with jazz music. Expensive yet mediocre drinks. Only sweet vermouth is Cinzano. The second cheapest vermouth on the planet ($6). Glass of wine is al least $12. Pizza looks good. Staff are decent people. The space has so much promise. Perhaps one day someone will be over it that will raise above the least acceptable.

The building is incredible, but the vibes are decidedly off. Especially the lighting, which is by turns ice-cold and vape-store-blue. There’s also a TV over the bar, which feels out of place. What the place needs is an overhaul so that it *feels* as luxurious as it looks. We sat down at the bar and ordered two beers, which came out tasting flat. I notified the bartender, and he responded by passive aggressively reaching a stirrer into my glass and swirling it to show that there were, in fact, some bubbles in there. I asked if I could return it and order a martini instead (which costs as much as two beers) and he grumpily obliged. The martini was…just okay. The good news is that the burger was fantastic, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I’d come back just for the building and the burger. But if they fixed the lighting (and the service), I’d come regularly!
The comfy chairs and gorgeous ceiling save this place. The wait staff is nice enough but they seem kind of frantic. The music is all wrong. Like mellow electro pop. And there’s no fancy mocktail menu. Bummer.
Drinks were very good, ambiance is great, but my pizza "margarita" had nothing to do with "margarita." No tomato sauce, no basil. It was just a heavy-handed cheese pizza, 2 stars at most (although the roasted yellow cherry tomatoes were a fun "pop" on the palate). The waiter told me they are re-doing the menu soon. Good!

How does this place not have a cocktail menu? I had to ask for one and they only had the laminated copy the bar tenders use. And then we waited 20 minutes for our cocktail and left before it arrived. Added to this, all of the chairs are wobbly and near breaking apart. This bar feels like a place that used to be good but has long since passed it's prime
The physical plant at the Giltmore Bar & Grill in the Biltmore, Los Angeles is high caliber. Elegant room, solid cocktail list, and a setting that signals premium. Unfortunately, the service experience does not match the promise of the venue. From the first drink onward, service became single threaded to the initial server. No one else would take an order, refresh water, or close the check. Colleagues walked by without engaging, as if account ownership belonged exclusively to the first waiter. As a European guest, this was unexpected and not customer friendly. In most EU hospitality environments, service is executed as a team sport with shared accountability. Here, the compensation structure appears to create silos that block basic throughput and result in avoidable wait times.

Gave it a second star because the beer was fine. The food was a nightmare. It's diner food-not even like a good diner that hits the spot. It's like a dirty, terrible diner owned by someone's grandfather who is slowly dying of a terrible disease, so like his nephew is trying to cover the kitchen, but he's an alcoholic and can't handle it. I ordered sliders. Twenty-five dollars. An hour's wages for a well off American worker. The outcome? Three flavorless sliders on crumbled over-toasted bread dust, no discernible garnish. As though cooked by someone who has never himself eaten food. Truly depressing and miserable.

I enter what appears to be an upscale beautiful bar from LA’s historic golden age and see beautiful ceilings and adorned hallways to enter the gallery bar. However, the drinks we ordered were some of the worst cocktails that I have ever had we had biltmore 1923 which was nothing more than 3 shots of gin and a distorted mixture of liqueurs, three sips in and couldn’t finish. The other drink I sadly can not recall the name, but was an unmeasured glass of water with squirts of bourbon honey and 4 tablespoons of cinnamon that looked like dirty water. Finally when looking at the receipt I paid $60 for this. Overall great experience and will sadly never come again.
The worse experience in service and food, came for the Valentines fixed menu and the meat was so hard you could not cut it with a knife. Our jaws hurt from chewing!!! Took about 30 minutes just to get water and that was because I had to go get the waiter. My family and I are shock of the whole experience and so disappointed the price is nothing compared to the quality! We paid $750.00 for a family of 4 the worse!
Four of us just had dinner at the Gallery Bar. The food was mediocre at best; the service awful. - We waited a long time for the waiter to come to take our orders - We waited a long time for the appetizers, and again for the entrees, and again for the check - My wife said "no mayo" for her burger, explicitly. It came loaded with mayo - My wife ordered a glass of wine; it never arrived until we reminded the waiter mid-dinner (he did comp her a split of sparkling wine as a result) - The servers never cleared the appetizer platters and plates until we finished dinner - My ravioli was very much Italian-American with way too much of a mediocre sauce and undistinguished pasta - One of our party had a pizza that could have come from a supermarket freezer The salads at least were OK, large but nothing special. If you are a guest at the hotel it's a convenient place for a drink and maybe a salad. Eat elsewhere.
Three of us stopped for a cocktail at 5pm on a Saturday because we have an interest in historic architecture and have enjoyed visits to historically significant hotel bars around the world. The beauty of the original architecture is still in place, but the furnishings are shabby and the atmosphere not the quiet sophistication we have experienced elsewhere. There is blasting pumping music and a large screen tv broadcasting sports events. We paid $76 (including tip) for just 2 (mediocre) mixed drinks and 1 glass wine, and $15 for validated parking.
Great scene great atmosphere way overpriced drinks very subpar cocktails had an old-fashioned and a glass of wine came out to $60. It wasn’t even an old-fashioned didn’t even drink the whole thing. Better cocktails better pricing better environment elsewhere.

They don't mix cocktails anymore. Most of the information on the website is wrong/old. And the bartender is very rude obviously annoyed by coming guests. Too bad since this place used to be a great spot and the room is actually gorgeous.
