Recensioni di Pollo a la Brasa Los Angeles
Best chicken around. Juicy, flavorful and fresh. The sides are always great and the green sauce is mouth watering. Only issue is they need an online ordering system so you don’t have to call for 20 mins trying to get an order placed.
Delicious, affordable and open on MLK day! Tastes like they fry their potatoes in beef tallow which is delicious Find street parking
One of my all time favorites. Crave this place. Been coming here for years. Chicken is amazing, as is the green aji sauce - so spicy and flavorful. Usually get rice and beans as my sides, but fries and salad are top notch too. Curious about people here complaining about the service. It’s a busy place. I step up, place my order, and have never had an issue. There can be a wait sometimes depending on the day and time; but this is because the food is so damn good. Parking lot is small so I normally just park at a meter on Western. No problem.
Delicious and fresh. Diverse salad. Best fries around. You’ll leave smelling a bit smoky but the wait is well worth the happy tummy.
Its the best wood fire grilled chicken in KTOWN 100% and has been for years and years. That green sauce definitely got a little kick for the natives. Family owned and delicious! Just get the whole chicken, dont play yourself
This is the best chicken and fries that I have ever tried. Been coming here for years. Never disappoint. Good food. Defenetly recommend.
Just had this for the first time today and OMG, totally worth the 10-mile drive! The rotisserie wood-fired chicken is straight-up insane—so juicy, smoky, and flavorful. I’m a huge Peruvian food fan, and if you’re looking to treat your taste buds to something authentic and delicious (ethnicize your palate? lol, I’m keeping that word), you have to try this place. The half-chicken meal comes with this fresh, vibrant salad—beets, avocado, cabbage, all perfectly balanced—and the rice? It’s slow-cooked in chicken broth with peas and corn, and every bite is pure comfort. I’m already planning my next trip back. Run, don’t walk!
Some of the best non-fried chicken you're going to have in K-Town. My wife isn't a chicken fan and even she LOVES this place. Be mindful of the wait and the tiny parking lot. So plan around that. There is nearby street parking but be mindful of times of when you can park.
This small rotisserie chicken place has a smoky aroma you can smell from the street. The chicken is always juicy and perfectly seasoned. They serve it with fresh tortillas and salsa. Seating is limited and simple, but the food is the star. Prices are very reasonable for the quality
The best rotisserie chicken in LA for sure. We did dine in and had the chicken that just got out of the wood-fire was super juicy and tender. The skin is thin and crispy and the meat automatically falls off of the bones. Everything is super delicious. It is 100% worth driving all the way from Santa Monica. Will revisit again!!!
The smell of wood smoke hooks you from outside; and inside you find chicken that is juicy, succulent, flavorful and thoroughly delicious. The fries are perfect and the green sauce has the perfect kick. And the salad is not just lettuce but plenty of fresh vegetables, including broccoli and beets.
Price = $10-$35 | Service = below average | Cleanliness = average | Parking = Lot but small | Interior = old restaurant style diner Ordered the half chicken with rice and beans which cost around ~$18. They have tables to dine in that look like the old diner style. There's a small parking lot that can fit about 5 cars. Be warned...this place does not have good customer service. The cashier was not friendly at all. Now...this is one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had EVER! Wow. Each piece of this half chicken was absolutely delicious with flavor and oozing with juices. The juices were literally dripping out with each bite. The rice with some carrots complemented the black beans in a broth like soup that tasted like they were made with meat. This place is highly recommended if you are a chicken liver or even meat lover. This is one of the best meats I've had.
Worth the wait and the parking challenge. Juicy rotisserie chicken paired with their magical green sauce called Aji, spicy but not overpowering. The chicken is tender and just falls of the bone. During peak hours, best to order and pickup 30 mins later. Do a tandem pickup to make it easier.
Amazing, succulent rotisserie chicken. The aroma, the seasoning, all of it comes together beautifully. The sides are alright, but the main focus is the chicken. The venue is small, and wait times can be long depending on time of day. So I’d recommend doing take out and asking for the potential wait time. Parking is almost non-existent, so look for local street parking nearby. Would recommend for great take out rotisserie chicken!
You know a place is killer when the parking is shit and people still go through the hassle to pack the place. Fortunate to get in at just the right time and wait only 30 mins for our chix. The rotisserie had the perfect char and was well seasoned. Fresh-cut fries tasty and salad a nice side to end the meal.
I ordered chicken with fries and salad. The flavor of the chicken was great. It was well seasoned and well cooked. The salad was some broccoli, beets, tomatoes and lettuce. The salad was OK, nothing great, nothing bad. The fries were also average. The green sauce was spicy and delicious. The environment is adequate and the benches get the job done. The service speed is good.
Their rotisserie chicken is cooked really well. It was tender and had a slight smokey taste. The sauces made all the difference for me. The green sauce with the chicken and rice was so tasty. It's a small, oddly shaped restaurant with limited parking spots. Recommend calling in ahead to place a takeout order.
People say this place has some of the best chicken. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I’m a chicken fiend and got their quarter chicken combo with salad and beans to try. The salad was interesting cuz it had beets and a strawberry but was pretty fresh and crunchy. The beans were well seasoned, flavorful, savory, startchy, and spiced but were a bit on the firm end for me. I like my beans thick and creamy. Was kinda surprised they gave me all white meat but didn’t mind cuz I do prefer it. The chicken was nice and savory, umami, flavorful, and seasoned. Cuz it was white meat it was a bit dry tho. It also came with a tomatoey salsa and cilantroy a bit spicy green sauce that helped to add a brightness and freshness to the chicken. Everything here is super flavorful and well seasoned but like I can also get a full Costco rotisserie chicken for just $5- so overall this place eh. Paid $13.25 Price $12.08
Really wanted to love this but the spice/seasoning was lacking. I love Nando's so was hoping for more flavour punch from Pollo A La Brasa. Chicken was tender and the salsas were tasty but was expecting more salt or seasoning on the beans and didn't expect just plain white rice but could be my mistake.
The chicken is really good but if you call to put an order to go the wait time is really really long and the guy answering the phone is super rude. It’s like if you were asking for free food. So don’t expect good or fast customer service.
