My point of reference for LA is very poor. HOWEVER, I review cheeseburgers. I quite enjoyed the cheeseburger for fast food type place with a drive-thru is actually very good and mostly affordable at just above $8 with tax. It's definitely a quarter pounder. However, they loaded up with everything else, and the sauce is pretty good. There's nothing to write home about, but in a pinch, it's pretty good. If you like baseball, it could be a nice place to hang out. The fries are decent with good texture and not too seasoned.

Been eating here for 30 yrs. Great service and food always. I’ve been very disappointed with the beef tacos the past 2 -3 visits. Please get a balance of lettuce to cheese please! You’ve removed the pepper from the original beef recipe for quite sometime now, but your delicious salsa rojo makes up for it. Now the taco is so loaded with shredded lettuce & a teaspoon of grated cheese for color apparently. Fortunately we were able to grate cheese at home and remove half of the lettuce & replace it with cheese. Not quite the same as putting the cheese on hot tacos. These used to be the best tacos dorado in L.A. imo. Always recommended to all my friends & family. Please bring back the cheese!

I ordered Rick's cheese burger combo. It was tasteful and freshener than big mxx. if I have choice of two options, I would choose this delicious burger.

Fun place, most of the food seems good, but these onion rings needed their own article in the Geneva convention… hopefully they aren’t always that way but between 6 of us we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish them—a non-good experience at a good place!

The food from Rick's is always amazing & food was great. I had ordered a pastrami sandwich with onion rings and a drink. I didn't give Rick's a full 5 ⭐️ due to not having any soda that is sugar free soda & not asking if I wanted to upgrade my drink from a medium to a large. I do recommend their food before a dodger game or Halloween haunt event.

Small diner type restaurant that doesn't disappoint! The service is excellent. It can get busy inside but also has a drive thru. Food is solid overall for a diner. I would definitely go back!

Came on a Tuesday morning about 10, and it was about 75% full. Ordered the steak breakfast and came out quickly. Steak was delicious, and potatoes are good. Tried both of the salsas, and they were both good. There's adequate parking outside and a drive thru. Restaurant is a little rundown but adds to the coziness of the place. Lady picking up the plates and cleaning tables is nice. Coffee was pretty good, they offered me the choice of a mug or to go cup.

On the way to Griffith Observatory, made a quick stop at Rick's. This is a family-friendly diner, very popular with the locals, and fast service. Easy to find a table and easy to find parking in their lot.

Great fries, Burger was a burger, very fast. Looks and feels like it's been here forever.

I’ve been going to this place as a kid, and always enjoyed it as a convenient option for a quick and dirty burger. This review is for a very dissatisfactory experience I had last night, which I tried to rectify in the moment to no avail. Rick’s super guy (a burger combo) is available for 12.99! What a deal. Sub it for a veggie patty and all the sudden it was 18.39 including tax, even though the veggie burger à la cart is the same price as a regular burger. Admittedly I added cheese, but 4-5 dollar more? I couldn’t understand. I asked the attendant and he just shrugged his shoulders, didn’t look into it or anything. Add soggy fries to that and this dude couldn’t abide!

This place came highly recommended by a friend so we stopped here before Griffith park one weekend to try it out. I was pretty disappointed overall. The food wasn't good, the burger had too much lettuce and condiments, the pastrami was way too salty and greasy, and the fries/onion rings were not fried well and had no seasoning. The restaurant itself is a little outdated (i get that they want to keep the old diner feel) but there's a better way to arrange the line to order and the seating. The bathroom situation sucked. I got up 5 times to use the restroom and every time it was taken, it was so tight waiting in the little space i would go back to my seat. That needs to be updated before anything else. There are better diners out there. Sorry if I offended any fans

Not sure if this is a fair review. The burgers are good but my most recent order was onion rings. I've never had such bad onion rings as these. I literally drove back to get my money back.

First time trying Ricks for a late night cheeseburger and fries and was disappointed. Burger was big but consisted mostly of bun, lettuce and sauce/mayo with a small patty tucked in there somewhere. Generous portion of fries but basically felt like I just ordered a $15 meal of fries. I’m sure they have better items I could have ordered but this burger was not it for me yall and I felt very unsatisfied and still hungry :(

I live in the area have eaten at this place plenty of times this is the worst service I’ve ever had in my life past the lunch hour through the drive-through. The person taking orders is in too much of a hurry to pay attention when there was only one person behind me. I didn’t get to enjoy my meal the way I would like to because someone’s in a rush you guys charge a lot of money for a pastrami or a burger or onion rings. I don’t appreciate when your employees are in too much of a hurry to listen to the order correctly. 1:30pm thursday. Its a shame. Price is going up need to reflect the food and the service. It’s bad enough. Inflation is keeping people from going out to eat. You also have a tip jar in your face when the people that are asking for the tips are not worthy it’s a shame fix it people.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was great, but the burger was very disappointing. The bun was cold, the bacon was undercooked, and the overall quality was poor — even McDonald’s makes a better Big Mac. Definitely not worth the hype.

Worst service ever will not be coming back here. I ordered a colossal burger and two cheeseburgers a colossal burger with cheese. I paid extra I paid $38 in total got to the dodger stadium and there was no pastrami. There was no colossal burger the cheeseburgers my daughter ate look better than my colossal burger that I’m pretty sure I paid about $15 for call to address it. The lady says we cannot refund you But come and pick up your money for the colossal burger. The lady that took my order even read that my order colossal burger with no tomato pickles and onions cheeseburger riches overpriced. I don’t recommend know I’m going there if you do go there check your order my wife went to go pick up a refund today two days later and give it back nine dollars so you’re telling me a colossal burger cost nine dollars with Cesar two cheeseburgers colossal burger $38. You just got a customer and I’m gonna let everybody know you guys are cheap.

Ordered the chili cheese fries and fries zucchini...omg Carl's Jr zucchini taste better than that. They cut hella big n no flavor. The fries taste like can chili ugh disappointed...NEVER AGAIN!!!
