BEST burgers in town. Always friendly, a clean kitchen and dining area is clean as well. Only issue is small venue but not an issue with me. The food is always fresh and the onion rings are huge and tasty. Wish i didn't have to travel all the way across town to get an amazing burger.

Straight out of the 50s. This is a small business that has been in Lubbock for decades now. Only one location. The staff is VERY friendly. The burgers are great. They are you perfect greasy, but great choice! The fries were hot and crinkled. Who doesn't like that! This place makes me want to throw on some roller blades in be in an old movie!

This is one of those places that you pass by all the time and see the special on the sign and think, "I need to try that..." This is one that it pays off to actually stop. We gave tgat forst try many moons ago and have been back countless times. Reasonable pricing and piping hot fresh food are what you get at this place. They don't take cards, so have you a little cash. Get ready to plan your 2nd visit because you'll go back after that first time! The steak sandwich and drink special...add pickles...my advice...

Sad they'll only take cash or checks but, OMGosh! The best Texas sized burgers and fries ever! We moved to NH for a few years and dined at a place who listed Texas burgers on their menu. It was a muffin sized burger with mustard! 🙄 Bonus Burger has Texas burgers! Big and just oh so good. Hefty fries as they should be. It's true! In Texas, everything is bigger! 😋

Bonus Burger is a family own business and has a great menu and even better prices. It's a small place with a few tables inside and a couple outside, but they don't cook nothing a head of time that way you get a fresh hot meal. I really like the steak sandwich and the number 2 burger without cheese. These combo meals come with French Fries, Tater Tot or Onion Rings and a Medium Drink. They are happy to make it your way, and there's always a smile for you. It's one of the best burger places in town just check out their wall of awards. You won't be disappointed. You can take out or eat there, they even take calls for take out and yes they do have a drive through but remember they cook it when you order so it may take a few minutes before you get it. Give it a try you will be happy you did.

Really nice hamburger stand. Food was good and hot and the service was exceptional. Despite the signs that they don't take credit cards I still failed to take notice and had to scrounge for money. No fault placed on Bonus Burger just my lack of observational awareness.

Feels really good to give a positive review with a full stomach after not having to spend a boat load of money ($11 per person)!! This is the 4th time we've gotten food from Bonus Burger over the last few months, and each time, everything was perfect. We all like our hamburger/cheese burgers a little differently, but they got it right every time. Plus, I can honestly say, I don't even feel the need to check the bag to see if it's all in there/the right order. Anywhere else these days, that's a must do. The food is consistently prepared with generous proportions. The hamburger patty actually tastes like beef and is still a 1/2" thick even after being cooked. It has always been juicy and delicious, not a dry one yet. The fries have a very light dusting of what tastes like the onion ring batter, which is delicious; whatever it may be, both get 2 thumbs up. The same person (more consistency) has greeted us with a genuine smile every time we've pulled up to place or pick up an order... nice to feel welcome. If you're looking for an old-fashioned burger and friendly service, this is the place you're looking for... It's only "drive-thru," and it's a little tight if you're driving anything bigger than mid-sized vehicles, about like every other place these days. Oh yeah, and it's cash only, too, but well worth it, IMHO. Some green chilies as an add-on would be yummy 😋

One of the best burgers in town!! We waited in our car till they called our number. I'm visiting my girls in Lubbock, I had to have a burger from here! Oh, it's so good!! Their fries are different now. I missed the old fries they used to serve. But if you want a real cheeseburger this is the place!! They don't have booth tables inside anymore, or a place to sit outside. We ate old school in the car. Good to see this place is still here. It's under new management now. I can't find a Good Burger in Montgomery Al. Before I go back home, I'll have to get another cheeseburger.

Love the chopped cheese, I always wanted to try one and they're fire here. The Dr Pepper is amazing. Just tried the Frito pie and I really enjoy that as well. Their burgers are good too. The guys that are in the kitchen and out the windows make you feel welcome and are very efficient. Never had a bad experience here definitely will be back. Parking lot quite small but your able to park, but it's manageable for how good the food is.

AMAZING food and the customer service is even better! We ordered two burgers, two orders of chili on the side and two cherry limeades. Zero complaints about any of it. The manager told me they are “cooking with their heart” and you can absolutely taste the love. ❤️ The perfect old fashioned burgers and the absolute best cherry lime I have ever had in my life. Oh almost forgot to mention the prices…super affordable and great serving size.

The staff was kind and friendly they seem like a hardworking team doing their best and committed to keeping things running smoothly. During peak hours, it might be helpful to have one or two extra people to help with taking orders or expediting, just to keep things flowing. I’m looking forward to coming back to try the burgers! It can take a little time to get your order when it’s busy, but the effort and care they put in really shows. The chili cheese fries were great.

If I could make one suggestion, though—it’d be to upgrade the fries. Switching to natural-cut or even thick steak-cut fries would seriously elevate the whole meal and probably boost sales. The burger's already fire, but better fries would take Bonus Burger from great to legendary. Still, overall? Highly recommend. Local gem.

Ok, I’ve eaten a lot of burger places in Lubbock and this Pastrami Hamburger was the best burger I’ve eaten in Lubbock. I would call it the best tasting burger I’ve ever had if the hamburger patty was larger. Only ding I would give them is the $5.30 add on for a combo, that is high compared to other restaurants. But best tasting burger anywhere. I joined the rewards program because I will return for sure.

Food was good. What you'd expect from a Mom-n-Pop burger joint. Was a bit pricy. But everything was hot and delicious. Specific menu with select offerings. Service was just meh. The drive through cashier wasn't necessarily rude. But they didn't seem happy about answering our questions or the time it took us to read the menu. We were 1st time customers from out of town.

Great fried steak sandwich and onion rings. Worth putting up with all the rest of the problems in order to get the food. Restaurant definitely has that run down look, the paint is peeling and the order window is tiny. You have to order at one window, park and wait for them to call your number over a speaker. When they call your number you go another window and get your food. Worst of all, it's cash only.

Friendly staff, but our take out order was not filled correctly. Had to take it back to get it corrected, which they did without hesitation, so kudos to them for that. Burgers and fries were hot and freshly prepared, good flavor. Cute little dining area, which seemed adequate since it wasn't too busy at the time we were there. A little pricey for what you get, particularly the fries.

Everything is always fantastic. This time they changed their fries which was a big mistake. Also I ordered and paid for a large sprite with the combo. I get home and I have a large drink that is only carbonated water no sprite.

Always good for a Texas style burger. It's a must stop for us as we crave this type of burger at home in CO.

Great burgers!!! This is a small place but it certainly packs a punch in the world of burgers. Certainly better than other restaurants in the area choices for a burger. Swing by and try them you won't be disappointed.

Avoid the pastrami sandwich. Very dry and chopped. Not sliced. Burgers are ok. Very expensive for a burger and fries.

While the customer service was good and the burger was pretty decent I probably won't be going again for a while it's really hard for me to justify the 40 minute wait for a simple burger and fry combo

They put cheese on footlong for daughter who can't have cheese. Food warm not hot. I know they were busy, but the food quality is gone. We ordered the big burger meal with onion rings and unfortunately the onion rings were burnt up beyond belief. This was very disappointing since we were n town at the Hotel visiting very sick relatives there n the hospital. I took them back & was refunded my money with a smile & I was apologized 2 by the manager. So that was a great thing. And the guys were all very very nice to us. We'll give yall another try when we come to Lubbock again guys so don't worry about that. Yall friendliness, great attitude and help on making it right deserves giving yall another chance when we're n yo town. Thx again.. And hey, the burgers were damn good2... sho nuff

I love their food. Been coming here for years, but looks like some of there workers don’t like the new hours. The young man at the drive through had a terrible attitude right when I pulled up. Definitely showed he was aggravated that I pulled up. 🤦‍♀️

Ordered hamburger and tots... Hamburger was just thrown together, bun was flat and rubbery, meat looked and could tell it was cooked on a dirty grill, vegetables in Burger seemed old and not fresh. The thing about the meal was the tator tots......Was an old customer coming back to try it after pandemic, will not be going back......Heart 💔 meal........

My husband and I stopped at Bonus Burger Monday afternoon. My husband placed an order for a hamburger WITH NO CHEESE OR CONDIMENTS- just the vegetables, with fries and a drink. I ordered 2 hot dogs with onions only, onion rings and a drink. Our order was right at $30.00. It was busy, and we had to wait a while for our order. We went home to eat. We live less than 5 minutes away. It is hard to not be upset to pay $30.00 for this type of food and not be able to even eat it. My husband's hamburger was horrible! It was not anywhere CLOSE to what he asked for. There was cheese melted all over it, along with mustard and mayo. The bun was so saturated from the congealing cheese and mayo and mustard that it was not fit to eat. His fries were overcooked, and smelled terrible. My order, while the hot dogs only had onions on them like I asked, were overdone, as was the bun. My onion rings were fine, but that was all. So, because the food was in such a horrible condition, we wound up throwing it in the trash. THE OUTSIDE TRASHCAN, because the food smelled so bad, I didn't want that odor in my kitchen. Maybe it was cooking oil that was old that they used, is all I could figure made it smell the way it did. Needless to say, we WILL NOT be stopping there again. Do not appreciate spending $30.00 for a food order, and having to throw it out!

I have always loved Bonus Burger. But I went yesterday and for the amount I paid it was definitely not worth it. Idk if they changed owners or what but the fries were horrible and tasted burnt including the tater tots. And my son’s cheese sticks as well. I paid almost 54 or 56 bucks and I was not happy with the food I had got 4 burger meals . Where did the ladies that worked there or owned it go? 😞

Worst customer service ever I ordered 1meal 1 hamburger no cheese no onion no tomato not hard I get 1soggy cheeseburger 1 cheeseburger soggy as well but I don't remember asking for cheese then to call and get the run around just not to mention now my wife isn't eating because I'm not so instead of making it easy now I'm returning the whole order back
