What a delight! Came into Jason’s Deli today starving but didn’t know what I wanted. I couldn’t make up my mind so the clerk suggested a salad. I didn’t know they now made the salads for you. It was excellent, positively delightful, and the right choice. How did she know! I just love this deli, always clean, always friendly, always my first choice. Thanks again for a full stomach and a happy heart.

I am from Lubbock, but ate at the Georgetown TX Jason’s today and I was so very pleased with my foo And the service. There were 2 young men that identified As management when I inquired. I told them I would be Sharing my experience with corporate but I am afraid this review might be attached to my local Lubbock tx store And I want to make it clear that this 5 star review was For my visit today at the Georgetown TX Jason’s. I absolutely love Jason's deli! They have fabulous soup, delicious sandwiches, potatoes and pasta, and more! Everything is fresh, hot, and very delicious. They also have a salad bar that is truly amazing. Quality of service is exceptional, with prompt courteous servers and wait staff. I would have posted a picture of my lunch, but I was so hungry I ate it all before I thought to take a picture! I had half of a Chipotle chicken and avocado panini sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. It also comes with blue corn chips and salsa if you like. If you're looking for a great place for lunch whether you live in Lubbock or you're traveling through, Jason's deli is the place to stop. You will not be disappointed!

Came back again for another sandwich. The Pastrami Reuben was AMAZING! Best I’ve had in years. As good as I would get in New York City. I deleted my first review.

Everything is pretty much always just what you need. My only complaints are that it's sometimes not the cleanest, and this is a corporate problem but unfortunately they changed the vegetable soup recipe which used to be my favorite for like a decade.

Food was delivered to the table quickly by a very pleasant young lady. Our soup and chili.were hot and tasty. The muffelatta and chicken salad were very good. A manager came by and asked about our food. The restaurant was clean. An overall positive experience.

Food was good. But I really want to commend Danny. My daughter left her patriotic unicorn headband in the restaurant. As we were leaving outside, Danny came out to give our daughter back her headband. I don't think Danny knows how much that meant to our 5 year old, but we are truly and immensely grateful. The Alfredo was the bomb. You changed back to the old recipe and I LOVE IT! The service was great. They forgot my fruit bowl and compensated with extra fruit and fruit dip. Thank you guys for a great job!

Great food, friendly staff, and easily accommodated our large party for lunch. The salad bar was a big hit for most of our party while I had a delicious New Yorker add Sour kraut and stone ground mustard. Music was a tad loud and a few empty tables could have used a good wipe-down after being busses but otherwise very pleasant overall.

First time with Jason’s deli, didn’t really know what to do or what to order but this great man that works there named KC was so patient and amazing with the whole food ordering. So good! We love the food here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I usually choose the California Club, and this time hubby got the Steak Po'Boy. Both were great. We also each got a one-trip salad bar (which they call a side salad) now that the salad bar is open again. I appreciate that they are still being careful, providing individual plates rather than having a stack, and asking you to wear plastic gloves they've provided before touching the tongs/spoons. It's quickly becoming a favorite place to eat.

Me and my partner love Jason’s! We always get the same thing and it’s always delicious. They’re doing great at following the guidelines this year and the customer service is out of this world. They’re all super sweet and friendly, very helpful. The place is always clean and smells clean. The tables are perfectly spaced away so me and my partner don’t have to fret or worry about anyone being too close during these hard times.

My to-go was prompt, the chicken in the Santa Fe chicken sandwich was a bit dryer than I expected but it wasn’t enough to refuse. The dine-in tea however, tasted as if it were rushed. I suggest the manager test the mixture before releasing it to customers. I was greeted & sent off politely and happily. I wasn’t paying attention to the cleanliness and operations management. The parking lot needs to be re-striped.

I frequented this location while on a business trip. The lean green sweet potato is back and I couldn't be happier. I always get the lighter portion and it's plenty for dinner. The service was fast and efficient. Danny, the gentleman who busses the tables, was so polite and even recognized me on my return visits. I appreciate the side / quieter room. This location had TVs which I've never seen at Jason's. Overall very pleased and is super convenient to the hotels behind it.

Omg, this place is so good!!! So good, we ordered (via Uber Eats) from them 2 days in a row! You cannot go wrong with the potato soup, tomato basil soup, ginger muffins, the salads and the brisket baked potato. Note: their baked potatoes are big enough to share with a couple friends -- about the size of half a football! Absolutely scrumptous. Let's see if we go three for three. Yuuummmm!!!

I am just in love with the "spud au broc" baked potato that Jason's Deli has on the chalkboard favorites. I am a huge baked potato fan, and the ones that they serve here are as big as your face. It's tons on food at a really good price and I absolutely cannot get enough.

My new favorite place in town!! I normally post pictures of the food, but we didn't waste any time eating!! I ordered over the phone very last-minute to closing time.. they were very friendly & took my order & had it ready once we arrived. The food was prepared to perfection. Everything was fresh & they even added napkins & utensils. Service like this gives us mommas a good break when need. I highly recommend this place!

Not a bad place. All the food looks fresh and taste great. The wraps are pretty small but I'd recommend that salad bar. Its a great choice compared to fast food. I gave it a lower review at first because I wasn't impressed with the wraps. But after continuing to go for the salad bar this is now one of my favorite places to eat.

My wife and I have been eating lunch there almost every Tuesday for 5+ years. The service and food are always great. We're impressed with how long so many of the employees have been there--low turnover speaks a lot to the management and atmosphere. Since we recognize everyone when we come, it has more of a local business feel than many restaurant chains. I didn't realize that I had left/lost a pair of reading glasses there last week. When we arrived today, the manager recognized me and surprised me with them--he had remembered me wearing them previously and had them waiting for me. Excellent service and always high quality food!

The energy of this place was unbelievable this morning. The gentleman that took our order was energetic , enthusiastic , and very friendly. Service at local businesses have declined over the years. You can tell from this particular employee he strives for a great customer experience and take pride in his job. We ordered food to-go at the counter. We ordered a Carmela (sandwich), a salad, and a soup. It was great. We really enjoy stopping by Jason's for a sandwich meal. Atmosphere received 4 stars because the salad bar was messy, the place wasn't crowded like it had just been hit by a mob of customers. We were just there long enough to make our salad and wait for our food, but I thought it was long enough someone should've cleaned it up and replenished.

I think I have been coming to Jason’s in Lubbock for over 25 years? Don’t even know how that’s possible. They had pretty busy Friday this evening and I think somehow my single person order got lost when they were trying to keep up with the crowd they had tonight. I was just trying to relax a little from a very stressful week and enjoyed a peaceful moment when the manager came by my booth and very politely and worried asked me if I had had my food yet. I responded “no, and please don’t worry about it I’m alright, I don’t want anybody to get in trouble for this”’ he never hesitated and brought me my food with a ptintout that he had credited my full meal. The food was delicious and fresh as always. Very refreshing and so wonderful how a manager kept his senses sharp and noticed a problem before I even realized it and very generous to refund my money. I have no doubt I will return for many great meals. Thank you Martin (night manager)!

I have never had a bad experience at Jason's Deli, and today was no exception. My only complaint would be not to serve potato chips with the meal, which came from the very bottom of the bag, mostly all broken into tiny pieces. Granted, there were a few full-sized chips, but most were just crumbles. They are harder to eat, and it's not a welcoming presentation.

Did an online take out order and it couldn't have gone smoother! Had a Texas Style Spud and that potato is BIG. There was generous amounts of brisket and fixings. The potato was tender and the brisket tasted excellent. Nice take out decision.

Service was quick during lunch time. Food was fresh tasting and the dining area was clean. The water tastes like tap water was is not too pleasant. The restrooms were kept clean and the staff was kind.

I like Jason's Deli a lot. I chose the build-your-own manager's special with a cup of Irish potato soup. That soup is so creamy and delicious, and it really went nicely with my smoked turkey and provolone on rye. Dad chose the California club, and it was different than the one he'd had at the Jason's in Abilene, hence the slightly lower than normal rating.

Always delicious when I manage to go. I don't do salad bars, but my partner said she'd rather just have it than the sandwich. And they got ice cream

This is easily one of my fav salad bars in town. All my fav toppings, and that "good" ranch. (You know what I'm talking about 😜) The little sweet muffins are just the icing on the cake. Oh yeah, the sandwiches are pretty dope too. I'm looking at you, Club Royal!

I still haven't met Jason but his restaurant is quite delicious. The only reason it gets four stars is because they have made it very clear they do not appreciate my gorging ways when it comes to the salad bar. They posted signs all around the restaurant that you can now only make one trip to the salad bar when you buy that as your meal. Also they used to have fat-free Ranch which was delicious. Now they have taken that away. But they might bring it back. I guess they like to change up the flavors. The go-to meal is a half Beefeater sandwich with a side salad. Can't beat it. So join it.

It's a great sandwich shop but I honestly prefer there salad bar. The sandwiches I get are usually really dry. That's probably on me though because I don't know which ones get sauce. Overall good food.

I haven't been to Jason's Deli in years. Don't know why just haven't. Until today that is. I had a turkey sandwich. The staff were every friendly and nice. The food was hot and very good. They also have a full salad bar but you have to open every container to see what's inside. If you want an icecream cone (it's free), lid for your cup, or silverware you need to go to the end of the serving ling and ask for it.

Update 5.19.23 Yankee portion seems to now be consistent. Fresh and well prepared again. Update 4.14.23 Having ordered a yankee today the sandwich portion seems better. Good coverage of bread and good height. Fresh and well prepared. Only complaint is that the Stone ground mustard no longer seems to be a brown almost horseradish style and tastes much closer to a thick yellow mustard. But that's a bit of a picky thing. Overall better experience today. Ordered the new York Yankee. Just a few years prior it was a sandwich that was certainly worth 10$. But now it costs 14.39$. I can understand rising food costs, but they also reduced portion size of the meats. What was previously a 1/2 to 3/4 lb of meat is now much closer to 1/3 lb of meat on average. Both the 50% price increase and the portion reduction have made my favorite sandwich shop now less than average. Most menu items are generally worth it, but not this anymore.

Every other time we have eaten here it has been wonderful. Today, however, the corned beef on the Reuben was so tough as to be inedible. Sliced with the grain instead of across. I couldn't pull it apart. Salad bar poorly stocked, restrooms paper towel dispenser empty, baked potato hollowed out and filled with chili. Very unusual circumstances for this location. One server mentioned that the earlier crew dropped the ball. I'll be back though. 1 bad time in 50 good is pretty good odds. Management was apologetic and built us a free club sandwich after we declined a full refund. I chalk it up to large employee turnover and inadequate training for the new workers. We'll be back.

Im highly upset, little embarrassed trying to do a good gesture a backfired.. i order 2 cheesecakes with strawberrys and received 2 strawberry short cakes. I wished I could leave my appointment to exchange them for cheesecakes but I cannot.

I had the Frito pie, it was delicious and served very quickly.Other people at the table has the grilled cheese and tomato soup and the loved it. The dining room was very clean and there was always someone cleaning up right after a guest would leave. Our group wal large and we were able to put two tables together so everyone could be at the same place. The staff was very accommodating to our request. I would strongly recommend this place for a good nutritious lunch or dinner. I will be returning here for many more meals.

Yesterday, I went to a fundraising event. After we ordered some food, we found the tables for the organization. However, the back area looked messy, and the floor was the same. One of the students had to wait about half an hour for their food. Like maybe 2 hours later I noticed that some dirty plates and empty drinks were still on the tables, meaning no one ever came to clean it up. Other than that, the staff and cashiers were really nice, and the food I ordered was delicious!

Easy to order online and pickup but the baked potato was overcooked. (It was dry and tough along the edges of the skin.)

Friendly staff and serviceable. However, my sons food was cold and it tasted old. It was busy lunch hour, so I was not going to bother, but they should at least quality check before servicing. They do not honor military discount.

Edit: moved down to 2 star because the food was also cold. Normally love coming here but they must be having some issues just got served a to go order with pasta leaking out of a sandwich box and about half the size portion I normally get for the same price. I know things are more difficult with COVID but this just looks like someone didn’t care.

The workers were rude when asked for a replacement of some of the salad bar offerings. They also gave me a Rueben sandwich that had meat that was tough to chew and hardly edible, could not finish it. Overall terrible experience.

Update! I previously gave them a 5 star review. After my last couple of visits, I am forced to revise my review and star rating - now at a 2. Ever since their return from their fire, they have been going down hill. The food has been sub par and not what I've grown to expect from Jason's Deli at all. The bowl of chili I tried was lukewarm at best. The French Dip I tried (Usually my favorite) on another visit was lackluster. There was less meat than there used to be, and the bread was hard. I had similar issues on a third try. I was hoping it was a one-off issue, but after 3 consecutive less than impressive visits, I am forced to admit that Jason's Deli just isn't what it used to be. The fire they had may have knocked them down, but the poor quality food might well knock them out. So sad.

Food was delicious and service was great… However, this restaurant was filthy, dark and freezing cold. And when I say filthy I mean, everywhere. The salad bar was a mess, the floor (all over the store, not just under one table) was covered with food scraps and crumbs, I counted at least 7 tables that hadn’t been cleared. The bathroom felt like a gas station bathroom. The lights seemed dim and the temperature was ridiculously uncomfortable, I had to go to the car to get blankets and towels for the kids. The whole experience was pretty absurd for a chain restaurant.

The food was good. But that's about all I can say that was good at Jason's Deli. The service was lacking the cashier was not familiar with the menu or how to ring up items. There were several tables that were just disheveled and dirty, we had to hunt down the busboy to clean a table for us. Mind you this was 2 in the afternoon and we were one of four customers in the whole restaurant. I wish the service and cleanliness was as good as the food.

My wife and I got a Reuben sandwich there yesterday for lunch. Called in and they brought it out to us. Very nice young lady that came out. The corned was not fresh. I realize things are slow nowadays but you can’t serve that kind of meat. Old corned beef really ruins a Reuben. I received a response from a manager. He was very concerned and offered me a coupon to make up for it. It’s a tough time to manage a restaurant and their food has been very hood in the past so I Am understanding how this might happen. Hope this makes up for the initial complaint. I still love Reuben Sandwiches and will return soon.

Don't waste your money on the salad bar at Jason's! We recently moved here, tonight was our 2nd trip to Jason's & both times were bad! The salad bar wasn't stocked, no cornbread or ginger muffins, very few crackers. I asked when we first arrived if they could stock the bar with muffins, the girl just said..."I'll see". No one made any attempt either of our trips to ensure their salad bar, which is their "showcase" was stocked for business. We won't be returning anytime soon!

My wife and I went there around 5:00PM. It wasn't very busy in the store, and I appreciate they are still social distancing. However, we ordered one sandwhich and a baked potatoe and waited 25 minutes for it. They pumped out several to go orders to folks that ordered after I did. On top of that, they got the sandwich order wrong. When I asked them to bring me a new sandwich (I wasn't a crazy person who tried to eat half a sandwich and return it), they said they could take it back and scrape the wrong parts off. It just wasn't worth it at this point, so I had them issue a refund. The social distancing and the refund got them to two stars, but everything else was awful.

When we arrived there was a line to the door and only one cashier taking orders. It took forever to order. We then ordered the New York Yankee which is a hot sandwich with cheese. When the food arrived the meat cheese and bread were all cold. There was plenty of meat but who wants to eat room temperature corned beef and pastrami. I won’t be going back.

Was shown 2 different to go containers for salad. Then told me both sizes in same container. I opted for lighter at that point. Before I inserted my card I verified lighter as the ticket was $12.11 and he said yes. I showed him the ticket that rang up 11.19. They adjusted the ticket but I feel like the salad was a significantly smaller portion. Chick filets cobb salad for $10 is a bigger portion. I have ordered this salad from here numerous times in group order.

This Jason’s Deli definitely has operational issues in the evening. We will never be back. Been waiting, waiting, and still waiting for a measly turkey wrap. They seem completely lost. Whoever owns this franchise needs to make an evening visit. Just pitiful

My husband's chili was cold and had to be heated twice by a nice lady. But, the man that took our order and our money was wiping his nose and mouth with his hands and much to our shock proceeded to start the order without washing his hands or even putting on gloves. Neither bothered to apologize.

I don’t ever make reviews but I’ve given this place a number of chances. This last time I ordered two sandwiches and one had only one piece of bread. On top of it they were thrown together, I’m pretty sure they did it with their eyes closed. They kinda ruined Jason’s deli for me :(

I guess it’s my fault for not realizing that the salad bar is only one trip since Covid. This is my first time coming to this location (I’ve been to other Jason’s deli locations) and I ordered salad bar. I thought that this location also have the unlimited salad bar and when I went ahead to switch the plate, I’ve been notified that the salad bar is only one trip. I kinda explained that I’ve been to other locations that has unlimited salad bar only to get insulted by the workers. I get that different locations have different policies but the insult was really not necessary.

We visited here today for the first time. I got the ranchero wrap and my husband got the texas style baked potato. My wrap was bland and sloppily made with big pieces of onions. They just folded over the two sides so it wasn’t a wrap per say. My husband felt like the bbq brisket was too sweet and looked like canned dog food.

I had a HORRIBLE experience, dinner Friday June 7th. I ordered half a baked potato, with brisket and cheese. The potato was not baked completely, and there was only tiny bits of brisket. The worst part - I found a DEAD FLY in the brisket sauce!! Complete with wings, it had been dead for a long time. Was not fresh, did not fly into my meal while I was there, no....this was served to me! When my husband showed the dish to the staff, they said "that wasn't in there when i made it"....implying what, that i placed a dead fly in my own meal??? ALSO, when my husband went to fill the little dishes with ice cream from the machine, EACH AND EVERY CUP HAD FOOD stuck in the bottom!! So nasty!! Sad because previously we've had very good food here. Not any more....

Went to get takeout, and the man that was taking our order didn't seem like he was paying much attention. When we get our food, I check to see if they got it right. We ordered two broccoli cheese soups and got one. The manager special that I ordered was dry and only had turkey on it, even though I ordered it with cheese and mayonnaise.

We have eaten at Jason’s deli for years and years and years… Especially on Sundays after church. Today the conditions were just pretty terrible. Our food took nearly 30 minutes before it was brought to our table. Food was cold and the “chips” were just crumbs for all of our meals. They ran out of clean dishes so every meal was being served on paper plates/ bowls. The ice cream dispenser was not working properly as it was melted completely. And finally the restaurant and food prep area in general were FILTHY!! I mean…. We watched them broom garbage, food, boxes, wrappers etc towards the back part of the kitchen from the food prep area. I don’t know if they are just terribly short staffed or quality has really dipped that significantly, but we will not be returning until things have improved.

Very overpriced...28.00 for 2 salad bar. Very limited salad bar (you have to buy fruit or soup separately) not like that in other locations! Soup and salad is a much better deal and much cleaner!

This restaurant is always filthy. The tables are unclean. The floors are cleaned. The salad bar is partially stocked with old product. The lady working and taking care of the salad. Bar is walking around eating while she’s working. It has been a couple of months since we have been here because it was this way prior and we thought we’d give it a shot again. The only time the food is worth eating is when it’s takeout. The restaurant itself is always dirty And they don’t have the staff to take care of things the way they need to and things are always broken. The second time the ice cream machine is broken and it’s one of the only reasons to come here. All I can say is that this place seems to be very very poorly managed. The people are nice. They just don’t know how to work. I just can’t stand filthy, dirty environments. Hi

I entered at 1000 - opening time. Asked for breakfast menu - they couldn’t find one so I didn’t eat breakfast. Then, since it’s a deli I asked for a bagel with cream cheese & was informed that they didn’t serve it. Then I just went with a cup of coffee figuring that it was a good choice at opening time - it was cold. I had work papers to read & when I was ready for a 2nd coffee I found it was again cold. On the door under the manager’s name it states, “We’ll do what it takes.” Hmmm & sigh…

Very disappointed in the salad bar cleanliness. The restaurant floor was very dirty and the tables were all dirty. Parking lot was full of trash! This poor restaurant has really gone down fast. Very sad… they use to care. Looking for a new clean restaurant to get a good salad.

The food was subpar. My baked potato was cold and the cheese like a sheet of melted plastic. But the restaurant itself was filthy. Food all over the floor and walls. The drink station hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. I will not be back.

I usually enjoy Jason's. In fact I chose it for an early dinner today. I was truly disappointed in our meals this time. Our soup was room temperature and one of the sandwiches was falling apart. Everyone has an off day though, so I'll still go back to Jason's at some point Update I am done with Jason's Deli. Last night we went in and it was terrible. I don't mind the wait, because it was dinner time and busy. However once our to go order was ready, they missed part of the order and when I asked for the side of ranch and pickles they forgot, I was horrified. The guy actually threw 2 pickles onto the counter for another guy to put in a container. I spoke to someone I thought was management and his response was "Oh the guy in back is new." I swear, that's it! Nothing else. No offer to get what we needed. DONE!

Just sub par all around. The brisket topped potato was gross. The Beefeater meat was a bit tough, the broccoli cheese soup tastes old. hard pass, won't eat here again

So I went to eat today as I was really looking forward to the new burnt end sandwich. Never again, really disappointed. $12.59 for this sandwich. So my sandwich came with a lot of potato salad, a piece of bacon, pickles and very little burnt ends. I’m not sure, for consistency, if they have a proper portion, but if this was it, major rip off. As well, when I picked up my sandwich, it was laying in a pile of grease, so half my bottom bun was soaked in grease. So as I left I got a pic of the sandwich they advertise. The 2 employees that saw me said one to the other, the sandwich isn’t going to look like the picture. They didn’t even say how was things today. Pretty sure one of them was management. Sad you spend $45 for 2 people and get this quality. Oh yeah a salad with meal $7.49 really crazy. There’s definitely plenty of other restaurants in Lubbock That focus on consistency with their product where you feel you’re getting value for your money. Returning to this place, absolutely not!!!!!!

Will not go again. Haven't been in about a year, but decided to give it another shot, I've been sad since they stopped making the French Onion Soup, but figured at least they still had the broccoli cheese potato. They don't. But changes happen. So I ordered the Beefeater and a one trip to the salad bar. It was $15 for the sandwich I included a picture of and a salad. Almost $9 of that was the sandwich. The Frito Pies my MIL and son ordered barely had any toppings, mostly just a bowl of fritos with a drizzle of chili. Sonic does a better job. Completely NOT worth my time or money. It's so sad what this place has come to. We used to really like it. .
