Patty was the waitress and she was absolutely incredible and 5 stars across the board. The food was excellent and the collard greens were the best I have ever had and I am picky about my food especially collard greens. The brisket was tasty and super tender. The turkey was excellent also!!! Definitely recommend and ask for Patty if you go after 4pm.
Today was my first visit, I got the two meat plate, Brisket and Jalapeno Sausage. I was not disappointed, excellent flavor and large portions. I will definitely be back again.
Had a great time. Enjoyed the atmosphere there. It's a bit on the dark inside, but once your eyes adjust it's fine. The portions were great. They lean towards the large size of plates. Which is great when you have to share with a toddler. The cheesecake apple pie was amazing. Very glad that the stewardess recommended it. The employees there were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. It's definitely worth going to the shack.
Great BBQ IN LUBBOCK TX !!! …They give you more than you can eat for the price you pay .. VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY GOOOOOOD 😋😋😋😋
They have such good bbq here. I went out there today and they had something new I’ve never tried before. It is so good. It’s a green chili pork Caldo. I think anytime that I might be feeling bad or under the weather I’m gonna go out there and get some of that. It is total comfort food. I added a picture of it. Go get some. It is so good. All of that being said, all of their barbecue is always really good.
My gf and I are from Denmark & Norway, traveling cross country at the moment. We did extensive research on the best BBQ in Texas along our route and The Shack came up frequently And oh boy did it not disappoint!! We did the three meat plate with brisket and ribs + Mac n cheese and loaded potatoes Portions are a great size and tasted absolutely amazing!!! We even snagged a little spicy BBQ sauce to go The Shack is a must try place!!! Food amazing and Scott, the owner, is so kind and friendly! Service was great too Highly recommend!!!
Got the 3 meat plate, was way too much food! Brisket and ribs were great, and jalepeno sausage was on point.
This is truly the best BBQ I’ve had in west Texas. We are from Abilene but will definitely be back. The hostess was very friendly as well
From the smoke aroma walking through the door, the helpful and quick service at the counter to the tray of deliciousness, oh my wonderful tasting food, perfectly smoked with a nice bark! We can’t wait to go back.
Excellent barbecue, Wednesday night. All you can eat ribs, absolutely delicioustaff, so friendly. Highly recommended absolutely finger licking. Delicious sides and must try the dessert
This is a fun and excellent BBQ place! Kristy (not sure of spelling) greeted us with outgoing Texas friendliness and took our orders, carefully and patiently explaining the options and laughing at the jokes of our group of tourists from around the world. The food was excellent, as the reviews from others have already said. Experienced brisket lovers would probably rate the food as good to excellent, noting that brisket flavor is very personal and depends heavily on the rub, which is personal and often a closely guarded secret. In a special treat for our group, we were shown the smoker for the meat! The Shack BBQ is very highly recommended and if you're in the area, this is a must visit/must see/must eat place!
We have been enjoying The Shack for years. All the meats are excellent; a few favorites are the spiced sausage and pulled pork Frito pie. The sides are average but most are good, with the baked potato salad as the best. The reason I’m leaving a 5 star review is a combination of all the past experiences we’ve had and a situation recently, where our take-out order was not ready and then incorrect for a family gathering. This is what prompted me to review. When I called later to speak with the GM, she was sincerely apologetic, professional, courteous and took care of us. In our time where it seems good food and excellent customer service have gone, she proved some good old-fashioned places, that care about their customers actually still exist! Also, The restaurant has a fun vibe and just feels homey. It’s a place that runs til sold out and has limited parking, which is always a good sign you’ve picked a home-town gem.
When you first walk into The Shack in Lubbock, a person might think, as I did, that you are not in a BBQ joint, it might be a bar. Slowly as the eyes adjust to the light, you realize that this is an old style BBQ joint. Then it hits you in the face, the hospitality that feels like a hug from your Mom, the wait staff seats you, just as you are one of their family members. At this point I was sold. What happened after that was an exercise in indulgence. My server, Roper, made me anticipate how good this scratch BBQ was going to be. I was not disappointed, and I had an out of body experience from the Collard greens. The brisket was one of the most tender and savory pieces of meat, I have eaten. Amazing place, great people, and simple but so complex food! I will return. If you happen to go by, be sure to get the Collards, and the dessert. It's your choice which one you eat first.
Great place for BBQ and beer! Have truly enjoyed everything we have had there! With the drink specials and food specials, this has become a weekly dinning spot!
Great BBQ! I had the 2 meat plate with collard greens and mac and cheese and let me tell you it was incredible! The brisket was juicy and tender with great flavor and the sausage was excellent too! When you go don't forget to have the collard greens, they are the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. Mac was great too. I will definitely be making this my local BBQ spot in Lubbock!
The bbq was great! I enjoyed every bite I could eat of my fully loaded baked potato with chopped brisket. The sandwiches eaten by my family, they said we're very delicious and brisket was excellent. The service was great too. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. Atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be going back to eat there again. Thank you.
Way better in my opinion than evie Mae’s, although they were out of apple pie cheesecake. I will be grabbing a couple next time!
The BEST Brisket I’ve ever had. Juicy Delicious. I highly highly recommend. Our first time and won’t be the last. Deviled Eggs with brisket on top was amazing treat.
Such amazing staff and even better food! It was our first time there and everyone was so patient with us while ordering. The atmosphere is really chill yet fun.
Had the brisket and pulled pork. Meet was very tender and flavorful. Would recommend this BBQ place to everyone.
We got the Shack Pack for our family of 6 and it was just right (two pounds of meat, two pints of sides, and four sets of big sandwich buns). The sliced brisket, chopped brisket, and sausage were all excellent, and their BBQ sauces were great. The beans were very good, as well, but the green chili mac and cheese was AMAZING!
Amazing food and service! Deviled eggs with brisket highly recommend will be returning soon!
The best brisket in the panhandle, hands down. Juicy and smoked to perfection with an insanely delicious bark. So good we ended up taking home another half pound for later. It's not just the brisket though...the sausage was great but not too greasy, ribs were tender and fell off the bone, and the sides I had were excellent. The pinto beans are made with little bits of brisket and just enough pepper to give them a little kick, the mac and cheese had a great taste and texture and, unlike most BBQ joints, you get generous portions of everything. Will make any excuse to come back to Lubbock to eat here!
OMG! Do not pass this place up. It’s absolutely delicious! We came here on a whim and I’m so glad we did. Absolutely everything was finger licking good! If a BBQ restaurant could get a Michelin rating- it would get all the starts.
They're brisket was off the hook. Now they didn't have any ribs and that was one of the main things I was going for but you know, when they run out of rooms. That means that there are delicious. My experience there rating from 1 to 10 I think i'd give him a 15. The service was great as well, friendly people. And they let you know what they have in. What they don't have on the menu or what is left? Overall, a very good experience.
OMG Good... Real Texas BBQ We had: Chopped Beef Sandwich Two Meat Plate, Brisket and Sausage Mustard Potato Salad BBQ Beans Priced Reasonable too... OUTSTANDING!
Let me tell y’all my in laws and my fiancé and I were shocked with how good this food was!! The food was amazing, customer service was terrific! The overall experience 12/10 stars. Highly recommend! Family friendly! You know it’s a good BBQ place when they run outta ribs by 2pm. (18 racks)
I picked up my order for lunch on 2/9. I had the 3 meat plate with juicy brisket, chicken, and green chili sausage. The sides I chose were the collard greens and the loaded potato salad. I also had some spicy sauce on the side as well. The meats were delicious. I can’t even pick my favorite. They were all amazing. And both sides were great too! This was a fantastic meal for take out. I will be coming back for more.
Stunningly wonderful! Best BBQ ever! Just crazy amazing food, atmosphere, and service! Try it, you’ll love it! Check out the tender beef ribs!
We had a few dino ribs and the ladies had brisket sandwiches. Roper was our waitress and Natasha took our order over the phone the day before, the special order of the dino rib plates normally available on the weekends. Best meat in town, pecan smoked to perfection. An experience to share, well worth the money. Clean and friendly atmosphere.
Pulled pork and chopped brisket were amazing. Turkey and sliced brisket were a bit dry. But, considering that it was the day after Thanksgiving, we prolly picked a bad day. Everything else was amazing!!!
Fabulous from start to finish! The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the space was perfect. If there were more stars to give, I'd gladly give them. I would highly recommend The Shack BBQ to eat or host a party. We held a TTU graduation party for my daughter with 30+ people and occupied 90% of the dining room. There was room for everyone to sit and eat, walk around, socialize, dance, etc. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The location was easy to get to. The restaurant space was charming and inviting. So many people within the party complimented the food (chicken, turkey, brisket, sausage, mac-n-cheese, corn). Thank you!!!
Wow!! There are not enough words to describe how amazing this food was!! We had the best service thanks to Kimmie!! Safe to say we will be back!!
Great BBQ! Had the Brisket and Beef Rib. Very tender. Sauces were great, ranging from sweet to extreme spicy. Sides were solid, we got the coleslaw which tasted fresh and the loaded potato salad was good as well. Too bad the Mac n Cheese and Collard Greens were sold out so I didn't get to try them. Banana Pudding to finish it off and it was all worth it. The only negative thing I can say is that their bread is plain and if they toasted it it would be perfect.
Today we stopped in for the very first time. Right off the bat, the ladies at the counter treated us like family! I was rooting for the food to be just as amazing... It was!!! Thank goodness!! Jordyn was patient, made great suggestions and we were thankful for them because we got to enjoy some really good food! The brisket just melts in your mouth, the sausage has great taste and snap and the pulled pork was amazing.. I don't like pulled pork, but this one i enjoyed. Overall, the place has great ambiance with the music, really clean and tidy, ceiling fans is a plus and great food/service.
Kimmie D gave us the best service we have ever had. The food was absolutely amazing and we tried all the BBQ sauce and loved all of them! We are from out of town and will definitely be back! Thank you Kimmie!!!
This place has the absolute best BBQ and even better customer service! The food and sides are all amazing. We've had the brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, and turkey- it's all so good. We also love their loaded potato salad and pinto beans. Aside from mouth-watering BBQ, what keeps us coming back every weekend is the ladies at the counter! They truly care about their customers and it's the most welcoming atmosphere. We love waking in here because of the employees and how incredible they are! Pro tip: Recommend getting here as early as possible- with food this good they do sell out! We go right after church on Sunday to make it in time for beef ribs :)
I had the 2 meat plate. It was more food than I could it. Delicious!!!! Lean brisket and jalapeno sausage with collard greens and potato salad. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular!!! 👍🏻
Came to this BBQ restaurant thru a recommendation of a colleague. Luckily we arrived before the dinner rush. Our waitress Sarah provided prompt and fast service. We ordered an assortment of BBQ meats and sides to share. The brisket, turkey, and pulled pork were good with or without BBQ sauce. The potato salad was decent, the coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, while the collard green had a nice savory bacon and tomato flavor with a little bit of spicy heat. The place is a definite gem of a place with a relaxing atmosphere.
I thought all the food tasted good. I definitely recommend getting the lean brisket instead of the moist brisket unless you like it on the red side and fatty. Make sure you pay attention to the size of the sides you order to feed everyone in your party. The pulled pork was my favorite. We live in Washington State and we get BBQ from the Shack every time we visit!
Amazing service, everyone is so friendly and the food was QUICK! Very good BBQ spot and you really get a lot for your money.
Heard good things so I came here for lunch. Friendly helpful staff. Food came out quick and was delicious. I had the brisket sandwich and a side of collards. Brisket was juicy and tender. Spicy BBQ sauce was just right. Collards were tangy. Will definitely come back!
The shack is an absolute 10/10. The beef ribs are huge and delicious. The loaded potatoe salad is fantastic! The collard greens are perfection, and the deviled eggs are to die for. Kimmie D. Was hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with and we’d come back just to sit in her section. Before you leave grab some Bannana pudding it’s the cherry on top.
1st time eating here. Turkey, beans, coleslaw were good but the brisket and loaded potato salad were by far the stars of the show. Great portions and a decent price. Wish the patio had the same vibe as the interior, but maybe I need to try that again at night. Will be coming back!
Kimmie D. Was our waitress, she was the best G-Dang waitress I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. My wife ordered the baked potato and it was every bit as good as my beef rib, our friends ordered the two meat plates and I must say that, after sampling their food, everything is 9/10 or better. We had our very dearest friends with us, closer to us than some family members, they are two lovely, wonderful women that happen to be married to one another. They are God fearing, wonderful people, but unfortunately in other eateries we have dined with these friends, they have been mistreated and even treated derogatorily by waitstaff. Such was not the case with Kimmie, who made us feel like we were almost family from the moment we sat down, to the very second we left the restaurant. Not only will we return every time we visit Lubbock, we will tell everyone, as far and wide as we travel, about the Shack, and Kimmie’s hospitality.
Excellent experience. Server named Pattie B was so friendly and attentive. Portions were large and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely put it our list!
Best BBQ we've had in years! Cannot recommend highly enough. Amazing service and excellent food. Run, don't walk to get yours!
My husband and I both had the brisket plates and the meat was tender and smoked just right. Coleslaw and pintos yummy! The service deserves more than 5 stars--wish I could add a plus! ALL the waitstaff deserve praise. The place has the feeling of a traditional BBQ place-laid back and softly lit. Good live music. Nice vibe. When so many top-quality BBQ restaurants like this one closing because of costs, I hope we can keep the Shack in business. Jus' sayin...
The BBQ was excellent however their side dishes are slacking. In the numerous times we’ve been there, we have eaten the brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, chopped brisket sandwich and sausage. All of it was great! Of the side dishes, we had potato salad, loaded potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob and pinto beans. All have been average. But the BBQ and atmosphere have so great that we continue to go.
We went the weekend before Christmas with our local (Lubbock) and Arizona family. Jonathan (AZ) said he’s now had real Texas BBQ. We had the Beef Ribs (Saturday & Sunday only) and they were huge, had great flavor and so tender. The Brisket was perfect too.
I am a byu fan and traveled from out of state to watch Texas tech lay us over their lap and beat us like a red headed step child. I will have nightmares about jacob Rodriguez for months. The only saving grace of the weekend? My trip to the shack. I was in the gall of bitterness and endless woe until I came in and it was fantastic. Excellent service, great food. The beef rib was insanely huge and delicious. Would love to return when the cougs play tech in hoops.
OMG this was some great BBQ!!! The Brisket not too smoky and still very tender. Ribs was good Sausage was good but kind of cool in temperature. Mac and cheese 8/10 Potato salad was good. Great place for a BBQ Shack Staff was very nice and pleasant:)
The brisket is top notch! Coleslaw too. Wish I had doubled up on both of them haha. The pulled pork and corn were NOT bad by any stretch, but could have used seasoning. Very good portions that match the prices. Friendly staff and not too busy at 12:30.
This was an amazing find. It's very unassuming, but you could smell the BBQ from a mile away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The BBQ was flavorful and the ribs were some of the best I've ever had. This is a very great spot to visit. I will be back next time we are in town. Photos curtsey of one of our part members.
Got the 3 meat plate with sliced brisket, jalapeño cheese sausage, and ribs. The ribs have good flavor and are tender. The brisket is thick cut and has good smoke flavor. The sausage has good spice and cheese mixture. The potato salad is a solid side choice with the right amount of mustard. The beans are very good.
Brandy, the GM was fantastic! We drove from San Antonio to try West Texas barbecue for the first time and I was not let down! They had tons of different sauces to choose from, which I’m not use to. The brisket and turkey were hands down some of the best smoked meats I’ve ever had! She also hooked us up with the cream cheese apple pie to try, which was phenomenal! Come hungry, the portions are huge and delicious! We will be back again next time, Brandy! Thank you Lubbock TX!
Actually not a bad place. It looked like it was gonna be more busy than it was, and it wasn't so that was good. The servers were very friendly. The food was pretty good. I wish they had some different side options like Green Beans, cornbreads, something like that. Affordable, 2 thanks guys, we will be back
We went there to try the brisket as it’s known as Lubbock’s best brisket. I never tried brisket before so it’s hard to compare. But the meat was cold and quite dry. If brisket is supposed to be like that then there’s nothing to complain about. The coleslaw and potato salad were great. We had two meat plate with two sides costing us around 18 usd with tax.
The food was great! LOVED the loaded mashed potatoes! Definitely a hit. The brisket was great also. I liked the sweet BBQ sauce best, but if you want spicy their spicy sauce definitely delivers a good kick. The Frito pie was not stellar, but they have so many other options. Would definitely go back.
Pecan smoked(which is less acidic than mesquite) BBQ at very competitive prices in a simple rustic style dining atmosphere. No wait service as you order then seat yourself. Did not try the compelling side dishes this time as I had the brisket sandwich special with chips. Brisket was very good especially paired with the spicy bbq sauce.
Really great place to get some great BBQ and have a wonderful atmosphere to eat it in. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience here. We really enjoyed the ribs, turkey and brisket that we had there and when we come back into Lubbock we plan to come back here to eat. Parking is not easy when it rains but it is worth a little mud on the shoes to eat here!
Revised review 4.24.22 Open at 11 Thursday- Sunday until sell out. Great food as always. They have an dining room as well as an outdoor covered patio - both are nice size and clean. Be sure to try some of the best BBQ in Lubbock!! This place is deceptive - looks small, but is much bigger than you think. Good BBQ, dont wait too late though. They are open till they sell out, which can be quick.
My wife and I decided to stop by and get some barbecue to bring home. Friendly staff and astmosphere. We had brisket ,turkey and pulled pork. The portions were generous for a decent price. We enjoyed and definitely and will get again.
I was traveling and stopped here for dinner. At first i was weary because it was right off the road and dark but I'm glad we walked in. There were only a few people in the restaurant and there was great service. The ribs and brisket were amazing however I didn't love the sides. Overall I would definitely recommend to someone to eat!
BEST brisket around! And these guys are NOT stingy with their brisket serving size, like everyone else. Great meat! Only thing wrong was I got food poisoning 🤣 But totally would try them again!
Upon walking in, I believe it to be small, after entering it was much larger than I had expected. The cleanliness of The Shack was very taken care of. The friendliness provide by my server Alyssa, and the rest of the staff was comforting and welcoming. I ordered the King Daddy plate. Beef ribs (3), lean brisket, jalapeño summer sausage, mac and cheese, and loaded potato salad. I also order an appetizer of jalapeño poppers, and a kids order of fritz pie. The presentation of the food was made well, and the foods taste was exquisite. For dessert they offer plenty of options, I choose a pecan pie which was incredible. If you're visiting the big city of Lubbock, make sure you take the time to come eat at this wonderful BBQ place, The Shack. Thank you.
Loved the live music out on the patio. It was warm but the music was fun. The deviled eggs with brisket was my favorite dish tonight. Good flavor plus’s brisket! The meat in our main dishes was a bit dry, both the brisket and turkey. The pork ribs and both types of sausage were delicious. The potato salad and Mac n cheese were good. Skip the coleslaw unless you really love pepper.
This place is GREAT! I got the small shack pack, said to feed 4. Three of us were able to eat it for dinner and have enough for lunch the next day. Food was good, I havent had brisket in over a year. Their extreme sauce isnt very extreme but all the sauces were good. The collard greens were probably the best i have ever had. Their potato salad was very mustardy, in a surprisingly good way. Overall it was delicious and affordable.
It was good, but this place is definitely overhyped. My criticism is a little harsh because I have been to some of the top rated barbecue places in Texas, and this is good average BBQ in my opinion. The ribs were somewhat tender and the brisket was a little dry as you can see in the picture, even though I had the moist or fatty brisket. The atmosphere was solid and I am pleased, but I wasn't given a reason to go out of my way and come back.
The place is rustic, its that texas vibe you only get in small towns which is amazing, although personally the food could be better, brisket sucked the moisture out of your mouth from it being so dry, turkey was also dry, along with sausage being dry? That was a first dor getting dry sausage, id hope this was just an off day, because the place is pretty awesome to go to.
Well, I just got back from dinner after trying to support local after the snow storm. Chopped brisket sandwich was sliced brisket sliced in smaller pieces. It was lukewarm and dry. For the first time in all the years we’ve been going my wife had to put sauce on the pork ribs because they too were dry. They serve vegetable oil with the corn cob instead of butter, it’s gross. For years I’ve overlooked that their slaw is barely more than shredded lettuce with sparse dressing, and that their other sides are just off, always opting for chips and a substitute dessert because the meat is so much better than everywhere else. But tonight, I wished I’d just gone to HEB. Service was slow, took forever to get the check, forever to pick up payment, forever to get the card back. “Well that was disappointing” - my wife when we got in the car. I left a bigger tip in the tip jar for the live musicians. Below is my previous review where I used to give it 5 stars. After tonight, I can’t see the point in coming back, least not for dinner since it must dry out all day, I dunno. 3 stars now, average between 1 and 5, don’t know which version you’re gonna get. Old review: The absolute best BBQ in Lubbock. Come on Sundays and get a beef rib!
I'm giving my honest review. First and foremost the flavor on the sliced brisket was phenomenal. However, the pieces I received were cut to thick in my opinion and it was not easy to pull apart. I think the chopped brisket would have been easier to chew. The jalapeño sausage and the loaded potato casserole was wonderful.
I ordered sliced brisket and ribs and that was the worst dried brisket and dried ribs I have ever had. I was very disappointed, I've had The Shack barbecue before & it's always been delicious. I don't know what happened that night but it was horrible & I spent $25 on food that went to my dogs
Used to be really good. Last three times. Meat was so dried out. Back was like a rock on the ribs. Sides were really good still. Just not the same. Today was the last chance. Going to the SW side of town for BBQ.
Worst brisket I've ever had. So dry, lacked flavor. This place was good before it got new owners years ago. Sucks now
The biscuit was awful. No flavor, very fatty. The only thing you could taste in the potato salad was mustard and sage. Hopefully they were just having an off day.
Well it was my first time there I ordered a pound of moist brisket , a rack of ribs and some other food items mind y’all it was a to go order make story got I had a half rack of ribs and no brisket I had to drive back to get the rest of the order I was really disappointed on the service and food won’t be going back
I hate to be brutally honest but I’m really disappointed in myself for not reading all the comments instead of just the 5 star ones. I should’ve took the time to read the 1star ones Unfortunately I spent almost $100 for the food and service to be below mid. I called an order in bartender was nice she gets a 3 stars the other 2 were taken because I ordered banana pudding and wasn’t told they were out of bananas until after I paid. Not a big deal the problem is I was told after I paid and didn’t get a discounted price, a chance to keep or change it or anything. Charged full price and was just told it was just as good without the bananas as it is with them. She was okay though she was more welcoming than the others. She was kind and patient and answered all my questions without a problem. Came in for the pick up, no welcome or anything just told to go to the bar. It is clean my opinion they are using to much cleaning products at the front the smells over powering the barbecue smell me and my toddler walked in and the baby instantly said it stink from the chemicals but it got better as we moved towards the bar then we could smell the barbecue. The food! A huge disappointment I went based off all the good comments and was let down. I’m more of a sides person over meat. This time the meat won me over and the side really let me down. The sides I got beans, mac&cheese, collard greens, & cold slaw. Now to rate them all the beans (negative on the scale -10 out of 10) no flavor all you get is the texture of the beans and spicy water that they are in. The mac&cheese (negative on the scale -10 out of 10) no season or flavor just bland (it gives something that a daycare would serve to the baby’s) however my toddler wouldn’t eat them. The collar greens surprisingly had a little flavor (4 out of 10) they were cold. The Cold Slaw was my favorite (6 out of 10) tasted like old school cold slaw that you can’t find anymore. Although it was a bit warm. The meat I got was ribs and chopped brisket. (4 out 10 for the both) The ribs a bit tough and the brisket was okay. If I was to go back I would order the ribs again. For dessert I got the bananaless banana pudding which was disgusting no flavor the pudding was gross the whip cream on top was the only thing decent about that dessert because it was sweet but did not cover for how bland that pudding was (-10 out 10). I got the pecan pie also it was good actually the best thing I spent my money on here (10 out 10). Give this restaurant a try for your self to get your own opinion of course, but please don’t be like me and spend too much money especially if it’s your first time. Also the prices online or menus online need to be updated.
I would not recommend. I ordered a simple soda and banana pudding. Spent $10 on it. Waited 15 minutes for them to bring it out and it never came. So my brother in law went and said something, they pulled it out of the fridge and said “it has no bananas, it’s really good still is banana budding just no fresh bananas” I said okay. It was just plain vanilla pudding with cool with and Graham cracker crumble on top. Very very disappointed, and would have no paid for it if I knew there was no banana, as Walmarts banana pudding test better. Also, Cole slaw….. the easiest thing to make tasted like lettuce and water only. And the collard greens were terrible, I apologize but was recommended this place and would not recommend it to anyone else as it had poor customer service and poor food quality/ taste!
Came from out of town and wanted to experience good Texas BBQ. I hate to say this because the service was okay but this food was horrible. The brisket was so dry I almost choked on it. I was scared to order anything else after that. Here's some advice. If its late, and your food is sold out or dried out, close your store for the night. It's not worth losing customer and getting bad reviews. Plus, I feel like I was cheated out of my money as well.
