It was good food, typical Sonic food. The help was super friendly. They didn't make me feel bad when I forgot to ask for ketchup and she had to go back and get it! It is a little hard to get into, it doesn't share its driveway or parking lot with any of it's neighbor businesses.

I love using the app to order and my food is always delivered to my car very quickly. I just wish they would offer the ability to add a tip to your total on the app. Other than that it's great!

A very awesome place to eat. Something about sonic just makes you remember High School Carnivals. This Sonic stands out not just because of the awesome food they serve but the truly great carhops and kitchen crew. I can only imagine that this establishment probably has one of the best GM' s in the whole of Sonic. Very good food. Reasonable price, outstanding service.

This is hands down the best sonic in surrounding areas, I’ve had sweetwater (the WORST) Lenoir city (nasty) and Maryville (pretty good). The food is always fresh here, sometimes so hot I can’t eat it until it cools. The service is so/so here, sometimes employees have a bad attitude but most are very nice! The wait times can be long but the food is piping hot so I don’t mind..

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! We have been here to many times to count, but we have NEVER received bad service, I read reviews on here and sometimes I believe it's all how you treat people anymore lots of people forget the saying treat people the way you wanna be treated! Also if you have a .25 cents give it to your car hopper as they do depend on those tips or if you pay with a debit or credit card tip them your change it goes along way in this day in time people are struggling and fast food doesn't pay as much in Madisonville vs in Maryville! ALWAYS be kind!

I got kids meals with fries I get home 25 mins away from there and they put fried pickles in my 4yr old and 6yr olds happy meals come on really

I normally go to the Madisonville one at night, they normally have all their items up until the last minute, so that's fantastic! The Athens one, the ice cream is usually thicker there but the service is not as good. That's probably due to the fact they get more customers.

Like there food. Like that, we can order ahead on the app & don't have to wait as long. Like the redo on the property . The service is friendly. 3/25 my food wasn't as hot as it had been n the past. Service was still fast.

Only two napkins with for four people. No ketchup in the bag for 3 orders of tots and one onion ring order. Aside from that the car hop, Haley, was exceptionally polite and the food was really good for fast food. Cost is slightly more than other fast food places but the quality is also a little higher and you actually get full from eating it which tells me they use better ingredients. We LOVE going to Sonic during the spring and summer to eat outide. We will continue to do so this year.

The girls there are very nice. I have not had any bad problems there. The food has always been spot on. Thank you all for your job well done. Please keep up the good work.

I go to Sonic regularly for sweet tea. It is amazing! Unfortunately, several times, to the dismay of my taste buds, I have been given unsweetened tea! They are always quick to fix it though 🙂 Also, download the app and you can get drinks 1/2 off all day.

If I could have given 4½★, I would have. Never once ever had a problem, personally. I don't know any other fast food restaurants, in East Tennessee, that have the same record. Great job everyone!

Servers and those taking orders are a bit rude

There shakes just don't stand up to Cook out. U order a peanut butter shake and it tastes nothing like peanut butter. I've tried shakes here 3 times now, all different, and not impressed with flavor quality.

I ordered my typical M&M blast and there were nerds mixed in with the M&Ms. I ended up just throwing it away after the 3rd unexpected nerd. Wasted $5. That tart little candy is very noticeable while eating sweet chocolate.

Great as always!!! I got a slushie and a pretzel and both were fantastic!!! It was happy hour so it wasn't too expensive... But if u go when it's regular price it can get a little expensive depending on what you order. Regardless of the price though it is always good stuff.

I love going here, especially with my parents. I usually order a corn dog and a M&M milkshake (or whatever it’s called), and they taste better every time I order! But, there was random straw wrappers and other trash flying around in the wind. Other than that, everything’s good!

I'm not a big fast food person, so I can't justify rating the food. I do like their drinks. I've never had bad service here. I will say, nearly every time I've been here, at least one machine I've pulled up to is not working. It would be great to at least have a sign to let you know before parking there. Otherwise, it seems clean.

Food was very good, I got a double bacon burger with a few toppings, no bun, but I had to specify that I wanted no bun... They were very good about it though, so thank you Sonic! Everyone was very friendly and overall it was a good atmosphere. The app however, was rather confusing and the order did not go through for the longest time. But it was an overall nice experience, I would recommend this location.

Didn't get order correct and then wanted it back and then waited double time for the food!

Most of the time this sonic is good, but this time my milkshake and blast I ordered sat for so long they were completely melted. If that wasn't enough the drink I ordered sat so long half of the ice melted

A foot long hot with barely any chillie on it we bought all the same we got no winnie on them just chillie buns and cheese barely any chillie on all 4 I've never had such dry bread on a chillie bun it's not that expensive for chillie I would not recommend this sonic some others great but this one no

The service was fantastic but #10 lane card machine didn't work and the corn dog was overcooked and the stick broken and sharp. This was for a 3 year old, so I threw it away. The rest of the food was delicious.

I would have given 5 stars because it is usually really good but this time the Reese's shake was not Reese's but Oreo, Reese's blast was nothing but vanilla ice cream with whipped topping no Reese's at all and the onion rings had no flavor.

Working in the area for the last week, enjoyed the food but the restroom was always locked, must be for employee's only. I started eating elsewhere for lunch. It's nice to be able to wash your hands before enjoying a meal. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Food and milkshakes are always good. Friendly staff. My boyfriend ordered a large order of cheddar peppers and received 1 small ranch for dipping. When we asked for 1 more when he ran out, they acted like we committed a crime and wanted to charge for the second. After he explained they didn't send enough for a large order, they gave him one but had attitude doing so. I would understand the charge if we had asked for several extra but geez I'll bring my own bottle of ranch if we return for cheddar peppers just to avoid the attitude.

I needed sonics all over this one one of the staff members family showed up and they felt it was more necessary to bring all her family members in and out of the Sonic kitchen in my order was left for 30 minutes I had to finally ask for it and the girl told me it takes a long time to cook a chicken sandwich I will try it again but someone needs a man it's a place a little bit better cuz every staff member came out was sitting at the table with her family while my food wasn't being served Very disappointed Randy

All of the outside tables were filthy. Not dirty, filthy.

They usually have decent food, and the wait staff are friendly. But dear lord is the wait time always terrible. It's usually a minimum of 15-20 minutes. The morning is a little better usually, but the afternoon and later is insane. I understand that they're covered up, but you should also plan for that ahead of time if it's an everyday thing. It is frustrating.

The "crew leader" is lazy and sloppy. I ordered 2 drinks but she carries both together up under her armpit so she can swing her other arm trying to look cute or something.

There's a lot of confusion here, I ordered tater tots with cheese with a shake an slushy. I got my drinks but no food, had two different servers...Had to order again and it was so timely that I just left without it! Teamwork is important!!!

Food was overcooked and dried out. The menu has changed but isn't reflected on their menu board so we had to have them remake the order. They shrugged it off as if we should've known their displayed menu is wrong. Has potential to be so much better than it is.

I have had a stroke which left me with speech problems. I try my best to speak normal, but the lady who took my order apparently wasn't having any of it. I've never been humiliated that way.

5 out of 10! I don't recommend eating here! We use to eat here but the food went way down the drain! Food poisoning many times due to lack out food care with chicken and Coney dogs! The drinks and ice creams are still amazing and the staff is always super fun and sweet.

I have visited this same sonic on several occasions and the cooks cannot seem to cook the corn dogs until they are completely done. This will be the last time I visit this location due to Winnie in the corn dogs still cold. I would rather drive to maryville, atleast the food will be completely done.!!!!!!! One good thing about my visit, Lexi our server was a class act.

They are so so slow and walk around like they could care less. The stalls were full with people waiting and waiting for their food and drinks. So sad. I ordered 1 drink and waited for 20 mins for it like an idiot. Last time I stop at Sonic.

I went tonight at 10:46pm to order one drink and it took 10 mins and they handed me a unwrapped straw. I didn’t trust the fact that they handed me a straw that was unwrapped so I grabbed one out of my dash.

They always cut you off while ordering your food and there are some really good workers and some you wonder how they still have a job I mean they are to busy trying to look cute for the guys two cars down. And their menu prices are crazy expensive

I received my order it was completely wrong, burger was dry and gross along with the cheese sticks that were solid and cold. The management did not care, asked that I bring the burger back to show them it was gross. I’m disabled my brother brought my dinner as I could not get out. The manager I spoke with said she couldn’t help and acted like it was not a big deal that her team messed up my food. I’ve tried to speak to another manager but no answer, corporate no answer. I do not recommend this sonic at all.

The worst sonic I’ve ever been to. Food was cold too much salt on the food. And the bbq sauce for chicken bites was all over the container. Had to find a bag in my car so I could set it on my seat. There is no customer service there. What happened to pride in your job.

I tell you that I pressed that button for service and they pick and choose who will serve you. I waited 15 min then changed my mind and was going to go somewhere else. But my truck broke down. So I called a tow truck and pressed the red button again for service and I called over one of the girls and she said it was broken. But another girl came over and pressed it again and she was about to take my order but a manager came out and said oh its fixed now and called the girl in , it took another 10 min to get a response and by that time the tow truck was there so when she asked how can I help you I said you took forever so never mind. I went to A&W .

Challenges with ordering, we were missing two entrees and received pretty rude service as we tried to correct our order.

My husband brought us home some food. I got a double cheeseburger instead of a chicken tenders sandwich, plus the burgers were burnt! My Diet Dr. Pepper was a diet coke and my husband's burger had cheese on it and it was burnt too. I like going Sonic because the food was so much better. Not so sure now. I've been trying to call but the phones been busy for a while.

Well I they took our order came out in ample time bill came to 12.87 I gave 3 5 dollar bills the carhop took money and said have a goodnight I almost let that slide she didn't offer change then to find out we're a burger short I brought it to there attention then I was questioned about the2.23 I was owed for my change as though I was cheating them. So always check your bills and bags and don't get took.

Food is decent but their lack of customer service and their attitude really makes me not even want to put one star. You cannot even get your whole told before they turn their mic off. Then get mad because you have to call back in and continue your order.

The blast, is an over rated cup of ice cream....Had one last night and very skimpy on the cookie dough... Had to keep looking to see if there was any through out cup..Definitely not worth the money... DQ blizzards much better...

Can't redeem Sonic double smasher cause your App doesn't work. Had to pay full price at this restaurant. Last week ordered 1 bacon double smasher and had no bacon but paid for it. Asked for manager was told I'm speaking to one and was very abrupt to me and did nothing for me.

We stopped at this Sonic for a quick lunch on our way to the Lost Sea. We ordered and paid at 2:49 and didn’t get our good until 3:20. Around 3:05, a server came out with bags of food and asking different cars if it was their order. She got to our car and had our drinks, but the food wasn’t ours. She handed us the drinks, with no straws and told us she would be right back. With still no sign of our food around 3:15, we clicked the red button on the stall sign one more time to check in with our order. The man on the headset seemed like he was confused at first and then a light bulb moment went off and told us that our order had to be remade and should be out shortly. At 3:20, we finally got our food but with no straws or sauces we asked for. We ended up just driving around the building and parking outside the door so one of us could walk up to the door to ask for them. The only good side to this experience was the remade order was hot and well-made.

Got chicken fingers and fries, chicken was so small it barely made one normal chicken finger with all 3 pieces together and tasted like straight grease. Fries were a soggy mess, so they all stick together and again, tasted like straight grease. Won't ever go back to this location

Updated: I have found that this location has a redeeming serving time. Early mornings. I have stopped many many times early mornings and the food is fresh, tasty and the service is very good. Any other times it is the same as below sadly. Burgers were stone cold and patty was tough. Had been made and left out a long time. The fries and tots were also extremely old and cold. The only thing out of a $30 order that was fresh was the poppers and milk shakes. Waste of money and time.

If you get the wrong order they will just drop it on your lap and walk off definitely never ever going back. This happened several months ago just forgot to post it. I tried to complain to corporate but they kept worrying about coupons on the sonic app. Pitiful the way people treat people around here.

Ordered 3 milkshakes ,and they were the worst I have ever seen. None of them were even mixed up, just poured in the cup. They were bland and tasteless, we did not even bother to finish them. Will not go back, because at 6 bucks apiece there are far better places to go...and cheaper.

The employees were rude, especially whoever takes the order. The soda always taste horrible. My food was cold and my burger wasn't put together, seems it was thrown piece by piece into the wrapping. It's been this way for a while at this location and that was my last time wasting my money there.

If I had the chance to put no stars I would, I called in a order cause I just got off a 10 hr shift , picked the order up an drove home an to my surprise it wasn’t even my order so I had to drive back wasting gas because someone couldn’t read I guess an gave out the wrong order. Could not hear over some of the vehicles near us, had to repeat myself several times while the individual taking our order was becoming increasingly more rude as the order limped along. Also asked several times for the individual taking the order to repeat themselves and this caused that same person to become more hostile. After the food was delivered, asked to see the manager to complain. Come to find out the manager was the person who's lack of professionalism represents this organization . Told him he was extremely rude to which his response was “no one else had any issue hearing us throughout the night”. Mid conversation, he said bye bye and walked away. This individual should not be in a leadership position due to their lack of understanding, empathy, leadership, and communication. Will never visit again.

Used to like the food here. Came a couple of times for food when A&W was busy. But the last time I came and got the new Creamsicle drink we found a hair in it. Never coming back again.

Just got home - both my sandwich orders were wrong (better check em while you're there). Could NOT have given an easier, more straight forward order on two burger combo's. Was on a bike so I grabbed and left. Never have this problem at A&W but they were closed today.

Placed a mobile order and I waited like normal but when it said the car hop was on their way ar 9: 24 pm. it literally took 10 mins just to get it out the door then it was the wrong order that was on the tray. Took another 5 mins just to get the right order out then my blast is legit half empty, and the shakes are so thick that my boyfriend and his daughter couldn't even drink it

This location is awful. Although most fast food bathrooms are gross, this one was insanely disgusting and I wish I had taken that as a clue for how the rest of this joint is run. It took them FIVE times to get ONE burger right. After the 5th time of walking back to get another condiment they forgot to put on or messed up , I gave up. Didn't get one single apology from any of the 3 girls I had to knock on the door and talk to and when speaking to them they clearly tuned me out. When I finally did get to eat my piecemealed burger, the meat tasted like fish. It was awful. Took me an hour to have a simple meal. Horrendous service.

Question for the General Manager: What kind of operation are you running here? I come quite often now that it's summer and my order is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. I pay extra for add ons and don't get them. Ever. Once they didn't even bring my food out, then stood there and argued with me that I didn't get food...it was on the receipt in her hand and on my app. My favorite is when I order a Blast and it comes out melted. Literally melted and lacking the extra items I PAID FOR. Wonder how much this location has profited by ripping off customers? I can clearly see that I am not the only one experiencing this. Perhaps an investigation needs to happen at this store to figure out what exactly is going on here. Obviously it's a management issue. I will now be checking every single thing in my order and if anything is wrong or missing I'll call them back out. Do better or just find another job.

I'm just done with this place. The workers are really rude. Food is extremely inconsistent, especially the ice cream. You never know what you're going to get. Tonight ordered peanut butter oreo shake, paid for extra oreo & there was hardly any in there at all. Did an online order because I have 2 kids and need to get in and out quickly. I was waiting for 25 min. Fries were cold somehow. Got onion rings & there were literally 6 small onion rings in a medium. The woman acted like I was lying and poured them in the bag or something and I felt like the biggest inconvenience and so embarrassed. I'm not trying to get extra fricken onion rings for free! Goodness. I already hate complaining, and that treatment makes me never want to go back. Took 10 more min to get new onion rings. My carhop stood and waited for a tip (rude). I don't even feel like they deserved one. This was a terrible experience. A quick trip to sonic took 40 min total with 2 kids. Yall with kids can imagine how bad that is. Burger was good. Chicken poppers were good and hot.

I was disappointed in my Sonic Oreo Blast, for the price of a large $6.09, it was almost 1 and half inch below the Styrofoam cup and there wasn't any need for the plastic lid. I wish I had sent it back. Definitely, it didn't come close to the advertisement on TV for there blast. I think you should get what you pay for and in this case. It was lacking and disappointing.

Was there around 3 or 4 on the 8th. I ordered one order of cheese sticks and one strawberry sundae. We paid at the car because it has the card reader and it asked for a tip.... strange I should have to tip before my service since the whole point of a tip is for going above and beyond , Not just bring my food out and do your job, but ok $2 should be fine because I was about 7 steps from the door and I ordered 2 things ( like $6 worth of food). Well while we wait 4 employees load up in the car next to mine. Strange but whatever they weren't busy maybe 3 other cars besides ours. they might be on break or something or some were leaving for the day, who knows. Tell me why I waited 30 minutes for my order ( mind you the monitor said my food was on the way out around 8 minutes after we ordered)..... when it arrived I was like they probably had to wait on the mozzarella sticks not a big deal (highly doubt they take 30 minutes to cook).... My sundae was melted. Why would the ice cream be made before the cheese sticks were cooked ( absolutely no way it melted that much in the 5 second walk to my car)? Not to mention how dirty that place is and how unkept. It literally smelled like urine from our car window. If I could give no stars I would. This isn't the first time I've had an issue with this Sonic. I would go to a different location if it wasn't 45 minutes out of my way. All I wanted was a slushie. First off, it took them 15 minutes to even process my order. The parking lot was empty. They ran both of cards, told me their system wouldn't take it and that my cards don't work. Bull. I literally just got gas with the exact same card. My cards are fine. They demanded cash from me. When I went to give them cash, they refused to take my cash because "they don't do split payments." Also bull. I wasn't doing a split payment. I was doing cash and coins. If I had to take my best guess, she probably didn't want to spend the time counting my money. They took the drinks back. This is not the first time this has happened. This is not the second time. Idk what's wrong with this Sonic but their workers are rude and temperamental towards customers. They have been for awhile too. I've tried filing multiple complaints to customer service with no response. So here's a 1 star review.

Please turn on your online ordering. There's no other way to use rewards.

Went to this location at like 8 PM just a while ago, I got all my food and got a Blue Raspberry Slushy with nerds. However, turns out they didn’t put the nerds into the slushy which I figured out when I took the lid off and was greeted with black specs all in the drink. Also, not to mention the smart attitude I was greeted with when I pressed the red button and had to wait about 40 minutes for my food.

Employee didn't recognize the app discount. To avoid the frustration, we paid $6 for 2 iced teas. It should have been $3. The iced teas were supposed to be 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweet. Nope. Even the order was wrong. We won't be back.

Our food got brought out and we got everything except the chicken tenders. I let them know and we sat there over 45 min waiting on the them to bring us chicken tenders out and they never did. Ordered my food online .picked it up pulled 1 taters tot from the bag and seen if it was too hot for my granddaughter..looked down realized I just paid 4$ for a half order of tater tots .so I asked them for the other half...where then I had two girls approach my car pretty much tossed the tots at me and said here we saw u eat them...so I asked to speak to manager I told him what happen and he said I'll be right back went into store to watch the video I guess and after 7-8 minutes of him not coming back out I left bc at this point my food is cold..

The food and servers were fine, but we were traveling across the state and needed the restroom. This Sonic has a decent restroom if anyone took the time to clean it, but it was absolutely filthy! I felt like I needed a bath after getting out of there.

My best friend has an autoimmune disease, low iron and other health issues.. So I ordered 3 Route 44 cups of ice for her and they told me they couldn't sell cups of ice. I told them 3 cups of ice water instead. They brought 3 cups of ice water 25 minutes later that didn't even have sonic ice in it.. I requested a refund and after waiting another 15 minutes, a younger guy with glasses and longer hair came out with an attitude and said he couldn't refund the money since I was informed they didn't have any sonic ice. He said they couldn't sell cups of ice.. He NEVER said they didn't have any sonic ice at all.. When I told him that he never mentioned that to me, he said "apparently you two can't hear because I told you that so you're not getting your money back and if you have a problem with it you can call my manager in the morning." Then he walked away.. There's no reason to be that rude to customers especially when you're the one in the wrong! He's going to have an attitude and be rude to the wrong person one day..

Don't have a key to a locked bathroom 😒...... was gonna get food but for how lazy that is than I'm okay without their slow service. Was excited but the half dried ketchup on the door handle at the bathroom door and straight laziness. Better just keep your late night run to taco bell a minute away.
