Madrid está lleno de tentaciones, y en esa calle tan larga había muchísimos sitios donde parar a comer. Podríamos haber pasado de largo fácilmente, pero parece que el destino nos guió directamente a La Pizzateca. ¡Y no podemos estar más felices de haber entrado! ​Este lugar es una verdadera joya. Pedimos dos pizzas: la clásica La Capricciosa y la original La Teriyaki. Ambas estaban espectaculares: la masa en su punto, ingredientes fresquísimos y un equilibrio de sabores perfecto. Pero para mí, la La Teriyaki fue la estrella absoluta. ¡Sin exagerar, es la pizza más rica que he probado en mi vida! ​Mención aparte merece el servicio. De las pizzerías en que más he disfrutado este plato que nos ofrece la cocina italiana. Las pizzas son excelentes, masa en su punto, tierna, nada pesadas, de una variedad increíble y muy originales en sus ingredientes y combinaciones. Merece mención especial La Dolce Vita (de pera y gorgonzola), considero que esta pizza "es una joya", delicada, pero con sabor, una fusión perfecta (es la versión más conseguida comparando con las que he comido de la misma clase en otros locales). Local acogedor, muchas atenciones y personal muy amable. Lo recomiendo.

Traveling through Madrid and decided to stop in around lunch time and had 2 of the 2 slice + soda deal. Tried 4 different slices and all were amazing!! Delicious pizza dough and each slice was beautifully composed with great combinations of flavors. Very fresh and ingredients of exceptional quality . The La Pizzateca team was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. Will look forward to coming agin when back in Madrid next time!!

Excellent pizza at a very affordable price. We actually ate here twice on our last trip to Madrid. First time I had two slices of pizza and a drink (there’s a lunch deal that I can’t remember the price of but I do remember that each slice of pizza is normally €3.6). Between the taste of the pizza and the welcomeness of the owner, we decided to return and order a full pie – la tutti funghi (absolutely delicious). The ensalada de la casa was tasty with lots olives, excellent dressing and your choice of blue or goat cheese.

First off, the staff and extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and prepared perfectly. I want to return because eating one made me want to try more. We did go back a day or two later for desert to go, which also proved to be great. This is a top spot!!

One of the most delicious places where I’ve tried Italian food! A huge variety of pizzas, plus a Menu del Día. The service, friendliness, music, and the smell of amazing food inside – 100/10 ❤️ The only small downside is that you can’t choose a small non-alcoholic beer option, but there are plenty of other drinks to pick from 😋 You can really see people working here with passion and love for what they do – it makes the whole experience even better.

I ate here on my last day in Madrid, a few minutes after it opened for the day. You can choose to take away some slices or eat there. There’s plenty of options available, the prices are very reasonable and you also have menu of the day options. The staff was very friendly and the Diavola pizza I had was amazing, everything about it felt very fresh.

Oh these pizzas! We loved stopped at the Pizzateca, take a seat and have wonderful food while the kids entertained themself with the variety of books. We tried 6 types of square pizzas, and 'funghi' was my favourite - my husband loved the meat lover and the kids indulged in a perfectly presented round Margherita. The service was friendly and quick, the facilities clean, and to end we had a tiramisu to die for! Absolutely recommended and looking forward to being there again!

Delicious pizza on Calle de Leon near Atocha. Had the Margarita pizza and Caprese salad last night. Enjoyed it so much we came back today! While waiting we had a piece of mushroom (tutti fungi). Excellent and light. We’re very picky about our pizza, and la pizza techa meets our high standards. They also have lunch specials.

We have had pizza all over the world including Italy, and we have to say this some of the best pizza we have ever tried. There are many creative vegetarian options, and all of the ones we tried were great especially the La Romana. The owner is so warm, pleasant, and welcoming. He really cares about the pizza that is produced at this restaurant, and it definitely shows considering the wonderful taste. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Madrid to try this pizza restaurant!

Amazing quality! The owner has Italian roots and uses his family recipe for the crust. They use the freshest ingredients for the pizzas and the crust is light. The seating in the back is comfortable, but you can also get a slice to take out. From the previous reviews I expected more. The pizzas are quite good and it's very busy there if you want to sit down to enjoy your pizza. We ordered several pizzas for takeaway and for some reason they didn't time it well so some pizzas stood around while they were finishing the rest. Don't do that, obviously! Make sure they all come out scorching hot and get them ready to go in one batch. I can imagine that they're quite good if you get it hot though, but that wasn't my experience.
