This is the ninth and final branch of Four Brothers which I review. By far this is one of the most charming locations, set alongside Mahopac lake. The food is exquisite, and the waitstaff friendly. The bathrooms are clean, and there is a full bar with about three beers on draft. In July 2025, former candidate for NY Governor Larry Sharpe appeared at this location.

Preparation is essential to determine if food is delicious in a restaurant. This gorgeous Italian restaurant & bar has plenty of free parking, no reserved, wheelchair accessibility, and restroom. Excellent for large gatherings, couples, and private parties. Excellent bilingual staff, accommodations seating booth or table, overall an excellent vibe. Depending on the meal, all dishes come in medium to small portions. Dessert menus has plenty of options. Highly recommend.

Plenty of seating inside and out. Spring and summer time is a great time to sit outside overlooking the water. As for the food, it was great. The chicken parm was ok, not the best i have had, a bit oily, but good. Calamari was really good, light and crispy. The desert was the best part. The chocolate slice cake might be the best chocolate cake I have had. It is really moist and rich. Hot chocolate is delicious, especially on those fall and winter nights. Place is a bit pricey.

Great food here at for brothers! The service is impeccable. I was visited a good amount of times and ended up having a nice rapport with the waiter. When I left without my credit card, he ran out to the parking lot to give it to me. That's service. I will go back and try something else at some point. No reason not to.

Great food with music and a view! Four Brothers Pizza has the best recipe for a deliciously satisfying meal as well as a picturesque view of Lake Mahopac. And if you happen to dine on weekends you can also enjoy a variety of musical talents. Call ahead and ask when Robbie Rigo is playing so you can enhance your dining experience. He will not disappoint either. This visit we enjoyed a flavorful Bruschetta. Perfectly grilled bread topped with fresh chopped zesty tomatoes, garlic, basil & olive oil. I enjoyed my delicious entree, Chicken Rustico, a delicately sauteed chicken with garlic, hot cherry peppers, sausage, brown gravy & a touch of wine. But the entree that stole the spotlight was a gastronomic feast for both the eyes and stomach. It began with a stunningly sublime presentation of Zuppa di Pesce. There was an abundance of juicy clams, shrimp, calamari, mussels and was complimented by a zesty marinara sauce over el dente linguine. The exquisite taste surpassed its presentation by a narrow margin. And do ask for more toasty bread tho soak up every drop! Four Brothers Pizza has able seating both inside or out and don't forget to leave room for a "big" dessert!

Me and the family took my dad here for Father's Day, we haven't eaten here in around 5 years. But! It still had the same comfortable atmosphere😌 but, with an remodeled look inside🧐. Was pleased to see that they still had my all time fav dish on the menu which is "Shrimp and Tortellini w/ Broccoli"😁. Portion was cut down slightly but it looked & still tasted just how I remembered which is what truly mattered 😌👌💯. Plus, for a party of 5 we thought our bill would be pretty big.... Turned out to be less than we thought! And service was just as great as it was😊. With all that being said it's without a doubt Four Brothers still gets 5 stars in my book!💯

Pleasant spot across the street from the lake. Friendly service. I had a calzone which was not great, crust was way too hard and thick. My friend had the prime rib sandwich which he enjoyed very much.

Nice lunch menu with a variety of items. Sandwiches were very good, salads were large and fresh. I'd plan on returning soon for dinner.

We've eaten here about 4 times over all when we've come to visit family here. It's always been good. Today, I don't know what happened but we went for lunch and we ordered 2 appetizers they both came out cold and the mozzarella sticks were still frozen inside. The waitress immediately apologized and took both appetizers back and came back with fresh hot ones. They were so good. Our entrees came, and they were good but not great. My husband had ordered chicken parm, but they brought him eggplant parm. He did not tell the waitress because he felt bad that she was training and we had already sent the appetizers back. I would definitely recommend this place. I just think it was an off day for the chef or whatever that was going on that day. The atmosphere of great too.

Tonight was a great dining experience. We were very fortunate to get Michelle as our server. She was attentive, precise and warm. I enjoyed the fresh ravioli and the homemade Russian dressing. The place had an excellent energy. Two thumbs up. We will be back.

Edit: came here for dinner during a snowy day. They were able to sit a party of 5 relatively quick (thank you weather). We ordered multiple appetizers and drinks along with our main meals. Everyone enjoyed and our waiter was wonderful. Four Brothers is one of the places to go in Mahopac to eat with a great view of the lake. The drinks and food were great. The salad I ordered is considered to be an individual portion, but could easily feed four people. The service was the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We waited close to 20 minutes before my boyfriend grabbed the attention of a busser for a waiter to come to the table. It was understandable it was busy, but it felt as though we were forgotten. We still had great service from a new waitress once she came over.

Solid food, but service isn't always there. Last time my girlfriend and I were here, it took someone over 20 minutes to take our orders once we were seated. Besides that, it's a nice restaurant on the lake.

food was good. Service was very slow and disorganized. We were a party of nine people and we were there for over 2 1/2 hours just to have dinner. They had a musical entertainment, which was a bit loud for 630 7 o’clock at night. It was hard to hear our conversations that we were trying to have at the dinner table. It was nice enjoyable to sit out on the deck on the side of the building. hopefully it was just an off night for the restaurant. I would definitely go back and give them a second try.
