Recomendadisimo!
What a lovely experience, my husband booked the tasting experience for my birthday, we were attended by beautiful faces like Fernanda, Jose Manuel and Genesis. What a delicious dinner. You’ll need to go and try the 11 course meal, don’t do like us and have tapas and drinks 4 hours before dinner, make sure not to eat 5+ hours because you’ll eat, it is a tasting menu indeed but the experience, the colours, the flavours and the pairing wine will definitely make your stomach happy :) this dinner was like a trip into the sea side - we loved it
What an incredible experience! We had the full tasting menu with wine pairing. The chef is a genius at combining flavours, even very bold ones, and building layer upon layer of incredible taste. And than comes the wine pairing: yet another layer of flavour, building throughout the menu. I would highly recommend booking at Beluga if you're looking for something extraordinary and are willing to be open to a new tasting adventure!
I had the tasting menu, and it was great. First of all, the service was excellent—very nice and helpful. It's a pleasure to see people who genuinely care about what they do. I chose the big tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was a pleasant experience. There were many interesting combinations and surprising flavors. The wine selection was excellent, and the desserts at the end were delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a great dining experience!
We had wonderful dinner in Beluga restaurant. Besides so tasty food and cozy atmosphere I want to say, that I'm so grateful for amazing service! It was a pleasure to listen and to talk with personal, they are so helpful and friendly, they also gave us so great recommendations. Keep doing great work! Thank you for everything! 🥰
We visited Beluga on a Saturday afternoon in January. There were two set menus to choose from (in addition to other options) and we had the smaller one together with wine pairing. The whole experience was great; food that had been prepared with great care and attention with service to match. With it’s Michelin credentials this was never going to be cheap, but in our opinion the cost was reasonable for the quality of experience
A very high standard meal at reasonable prices given the skill/ quality of the cooking . The stand out dishes are the rice dishes . These change but we had the Iberia pork with beans and the mushroom risotto. Both Superb Served al dente as they should be. The other dish which lived long in the memory was a sandwich starter which included tuna , truffle and lots of butter .Lovely attentive staff. Also in a country that produces the most olive oil this restaurant somehow has the best one.
Our final restaurant, on this trip, taken from the Michelin Guide, and we were delighted with our choice. Beluga is a smart restaurant, located in a small square in delightful Malaga. We sat outside, in the shade and we're served by a delightful team: friendly, helpful, smiley and very efficient. The menu included Tasting Menus and a la carte. We went for the latter. It was quite difficult to choose as there were so many delicious-sounding, creative dishes, but eventually I went for: - Nun's Puffs: oxtall & foie - Rice dish (similar to paella): Iberian pork pluma (boneless flank) rice, with broad beans and green garlic - 2ron: nougat soufflé, rum & tiger nut milk ice cream The Nun's Puffs were crispy, filled with delicious oxtail and surrounded by a foie gras sauce. The rice dish was excellent: the rice was nicely al dente with a rich taste. The soufflé was more like a fondant, with a superbly rich runny interior. Every course was superbly cooked and presented. Very delicious. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed talking to the staff and one of the owners as they looked after us. A really excellent lunch. Thank you team Beluga! This is an excellent Michelin star restaurant in the heart of Málaga. As it was a celebration, we opted for the large tasting menu. It was more than I should’ve ordered, but every dish was delicious. The wine pairing was perfectly executed. Although expensive, it was an amazing way to experience southern Spanish flavors in a creative manner. It was also nice to dine al fresco at a Michelin restaurant. It isn’t a pretentious atmosphere, and the service staff were all very pleasant.
On our recent visit to a Beluga, we had the pleasure of experiencing attentive and friendly staff who were quick to react to our needs. The dishes that arrived boasted great presentation, making for an appealing dining experience. The flavors were both exciting and balanced, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, the price of the dishes was deemed fair when compared to similar level restaurants in Malaga. Overall, our visit to this Beluga restaurant left us satisfied with the excellent service, visually appealing dishes, and delightful flavors.

Good service, good menu choices available and well explained by staff. Food was really nice and so was the ambience. Pretty setting

Sadly just OK. For the price expected better. Had the taster and paid €50 for a flight of wine that didn't include all the dishes. Had to buy a glass of wine with our first course and some of the pairings failed. Would have loved the desert wine with the first desert but had nothing to drink whilst the glass didn't go with the bland 2nd dessert. Also informed at the beginning that one of us didn't eat pork, only to be served gelatin based petit fours. Makes me think what else it was in. Hoped for better from fellow Alicantinos. Peach dessert was impeccable btw. Needs more for this price .

Our Spain trip was single-handedly derailed by this restaurant. We (a party of 2) ordered their course menu, and within 36 hours we were violently ill—vomiting, fever, night chills, and diarrhea that lasted a full week in my case. The culprit? A raw oyster served during the sweltering, humid days of mid-June. It was only the second day of our Spain trip, and unsurprisingly, this was the only restaurant where we had raw seafood. We had been cautious about the risk and generally avoided seafood—until it was served as part of the course menu here at Beluga. As anyone with basic food safety knowledge knows, raw oysters in summer are a high-risk gamble due to norovirus contamination. This restaurant apparently missed that memo. That said, this isn’t a one-star review just because of the food poisoning (though that alone would warrant it). Despite its Michelin star, the food was overwhelmingly salty, and we could not taste any original ingredients. For most dishes, with the exception of their desserts and asparagus soup, sauces bulldozed any natural flavor the ingredients might’ve had. One particularly disappointing dish—rice with Spanish ham—tasted no better (and arguably worse) than a generic Chinese fried rice you could get for a tenth of the price. It was simply salty, overcooked rice topped with ham—something a 10-year-old could throw together in 20 minutes. Overall, it felt like the seasoning was used to distract from a lack of culinary depth, not to enhance the dining experience. What made our experience even worse was the poor communication from the staff. They struggled to provide even basic explanations of each dish in English, often listing ingredients without any mention of preparation or concept. For example, the first dish in our course—titled “Cream, oyster, and seaweed” (ironically where we suspect the virus came from)—was presented without context or explanation. The server couldn’t elaborate on how it was made, and eating it felt like slurping an oyster out of a salty swamp—made worse by the aggressively seasoned cream. The presentation was beautiful—but that’s where the compliments end. Much of the food seemed more focused on fulfilling the chef’s experimental fantasies than delivering a cohesive or enjoyable dining experience. It was culinary theater, minus the flavor. At the end of the day, ingredient safety should be non-negotiable—especially when raw seafood is involved. If a restaurant can’t guarantee that, then no amount of plating finesse or Michelin accolades can save it. If you experience food poisoning after dining here, I strongly recommend reporting it to the local food safety authority. It’s something we would’ve done ourselves had we not been temporary visitors. No restaurant—Michelin star or not—should be above basic health standards.
A restaurant that focuses more on artful plating than taste, quality, or refinement. Served us contaminated, bad-quality oysters that gave us norovirus. Avoid -- there are restaurants with much better food in Malaga. The majority of the dishes on the tasting menu were drenched in sauce and/or extremely oversalted, making it impossible to taste the natural flavors of the ingredients. Additionally, the waiters did not explain the courses we were presented with--merely read off their ingredients from the menu, giving no attention to cooking method or intentionality behind each dish. Most concerning is that my party of 2 got violent norovirus after dining at Beluga. We suspect it was from the oysters in one of the tasting menu's early courses, as this was the only raw shellfish we had on our trip. 36 hours after dining at this restaurant, we woke up with nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. We have been sick for more than 5 days and this has utterly ruined our vacation. The restaurant's careless handling of food is unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone a Michelin guided one that charges 110 euros/pp. Until the team reexamines their service standards and culinary philosophy I would not recommend coming.
