What a find. We knew it would be good when we heard a tour guide sayng this this a typical Spanish restaurant. Great tapas, reasonable prices and pristine loos
Foods are delicious! We wasn’t expecting much before eating as we just randomly chose this restaurant but turns out it’s really good!! We ordered the black noodle + croquettes + pork skewers, all three dishes are fantastic! Especially the pork, very juicy and well flavoured(sadly I didn’t have a picture for it but we cleared the dish out)! Highly recommended🤍
Li Güeno restaurant is on the other side of the road, but we were lucky enough to squeeze in along the narrow bar. It should be a national institution! There were people laughing and locals eating t…
What an absolutely Incredible couple of hours we spent in this lovely authentic Tapas Bar! I usually do loads of research on Trip Advisor before we eat out.....but as luck would have it we spotted …
Absolutely wonderful experience. Good was excellent and perfectly timed. waiter was very nice and helpful. Will come back if we have time.
Unusual and tasty tapas menu. Very aware of the gluten free once informed. Extremely fairly priced. Relaxing shady side street location. I noticed quite a lot of local groups eating there so I thin…

Very nice food but on the expensive side. We had three "starters", mushrooms, croquettes and asparagus. The first two were quite nice and priced at 13 and 14 euros - a lot. The asparagus were 6 (six), with a tiny bit of jamon and cheese, priced at 15 euros - I believe this is way too much. They seem to have nice and well thought of recipes, as per the extra photos, but unfortunately today's experience means unfortunately I will not be coming back
Good food but bad service. we had the anchovies in vinegar, padron peppers, stuffed aubergine, beans with iberian ham and seafood paella. the paella was more wet than we expected but still tasted good - more like a risotto. the bread was not free and when we asked the waiter to remove this, his mood went sour and did not speak to us when serving us our food. Never had such bad service before!
We decided to come here based on a recommendation, but we were disappointed. When we ordered, the staff didn’t really want to help us with the choice. The food was just average, not the quality we expected. On top of that, they forgot to bring one of the dishes, and when we got the bill, it was already charged. The waiter admitted it, but still – make sure to check your bill so you don’t get overcharged.
Ordered Salmon and Fabado. All cold and black pudding casing in the dish. Very disappointed, will not be back.

Poor service, food worse, staff attitude??????? Gave us free wine after paying bill,it was an aperitif wine which should be drank before the food. Clueless
Seems to be a repeating view. Tall man with specs, controlling the waiters. Absolutely a man of arrogance and bereft of manners. Ordered chicken paella but asked if it had vegetables in as this was…
Terrible!! Nothing else I can say….pil pil prawn paella. prawns cold and paella so salty I couldn’t eat it. Mentioned to waiter who couldn’t care less. Manager disappeared when told him. Avoid as …
Avoid! Poor service, waiters not interested and off hand. Food poor, paella burnt on the bottom, tasteless and overpriced.
Food was bad, products are not fresh at all. We asked if the tuna was fresh, which they confirmed. In the end it was tuna from a can… Next the waiters are really rude, plates were trown on our ta…
Terrible experiencia.
We stopped by on December 25th to watch the Málaga Christmas light show and decided to have some tapas and drinks beforehand. There were many empty tables available. From the start, the waiter was uninviting toward us as two guys and gave us a dirty look when we arrived. We were dressed appropriately in blazers and did nothing out of place. I had to wait and ask him if we could have a table for 2 and he just said "choose what you want". He avoided coming to our table, and when he did, he was very curt. During the brief interaction at our table, we asked for a cocktail menu and he said that he did not have one and he suggested that we might want to try another restaurant down the mall instead!!! I responded by saying, “I don’t think we are wanted here.” He just stood there and said nothing. We left. While leaving, I clearly said that I was going to make a google review and I turned and took a picture of the restaurant, luckily, the rude waiter was the man in the picture also! The experience made us feel profiled and unwelcome. Completely unacceptable way to treat potential customers. I would never go to the restaurant again and anyone visiting Malaga, choos one of the may others.
This was extremely bad. Our first holiday since my husband had died. We have very memories not just of Malaga but of many of the tapas bars. I came here with my two sons a year after his death to commemorate as we have very fond memories here This was an absolute disgrace. If it wasn’t for my son holding me back I would have been extremely rude. Uncharacteristically we were shoved off into a restaurant area and left for over an hour without food or wine. We were charged 30€ for a poor wine and had to wait. Eventually we left, the young staff were apologetic but there was an extremely rude elderly gentleman with blue glasses and a flash wrist watch who was rude to both my sons and to myself. He was extremely Rude to the other customers- pensioners- and I’m very glad I left. Please do not come here. They do not respect their customers. I feel so upset. They ruined the first day with my family in Malaga since their father had passed and they treated us so badly.
Shock horror: you go to a restaurant and expect to be fed. Perhaps that’s too progressive an attitude for this southern Spanish establishment. Mañana was very much the order of the day here. This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve spent plenty of time in the region and would happily sit in the anarchist bar in Nerja with a few beers and at least get a decent sandwich. The waiter was gruff — fine, par for the course — but something was clearly wrong. The family next to us hadn’t been served either and were politely asking if their food had disappeared into the ether. The waiter was extremely rude to them… Normal?… One overpriced bottle of wine later (and being from Glasgow, my patience isn’t infinite): nothing. An hour passed. No bread. No explanation. Eventually, some uncooked, frozen, king-sized prawns arrived for my brother. They were immediately sent back. The waiting staff, individually, seemed fine. But if the guy in the blue glasses hadn’t been so monumentally rude , we might have given them another … five minutes. It’s fried food. What exactly is hard about that? We paid for our drinks and left — taking another couple with us. Shame on The Guardian for reviewing this place well. As it transpired - there are two side to the restaurant. They deliberately stick tourists into one corner and a - ignore/ b - charge over the odds, where no tapas is available, only bumped up prices for main courses. It was frankly and insult. We will not be back. Es un robo. No — es un chiste de mal gusto. *** in light of the response to this review - “due to the extremely high volume of orders, we are unable to provide the service our customers expect.” Ah yes… “high volume prevents us from meeting expectations” — a classic excuse, wrapped in the faintest whiff of Spanish defensiveness. Maybe next time just say “we’re full” instead of taking on more customers and then whining about it. And if anyone doubts your charm, just watch how your staff humiliated the pensioner at the next table. Perfectly on brand. Believe me. We came here to remember our father. This was an insult beyond comprehension. All the best ***
Their food may be nice but it never turned up. We were hustled into a side corner, order abruptly taken, given a very mediocre bottle of wine for 30 euros then left in a wasteland for an hour. When we chased our starters, we got slung a single plate of soggy fried anchovies to keep us quiet, followed by the most incredible frozen king prawns. We left and had to pay for this. You have a better option: don’t go.
Don't go here!!!! The food was oke but we got mislead and blamed for it too. Mistake by waiter ends up saying its our mistake. Ended up threatend with "if you dont pay, the waiter has to pay it himself" and " the owner called the police" ...... we never said we don't want to pay but this was crazy. We order tapas and they charged us with the bread we didn't have and charged the full dish of salmon instead of the salmon tapas. We don't know what it looks like but in there opinion we should have known. We wanted to come to a solution to pay for one full dish salmon but still they said the Police were coming. In the end they agreed with me but this is not fair. So watch out here. To avoid any trouble just don't go here.
