Hands down the most unique food experience we have had in a long time! Only after experiencing this amazing sushi did we do research about Pisces and find out about its long standing in Manhattan Beach and how much the locals like to keep it as a "hidden gem" for theirselves! But when we first walked in, we expect to be seated and that just didnt happen. Instead, we were handed a black card to scan by a really nice Japanese chef and given the option to order directly through our phones or directly through the kiosk in front of us. Not what we expected, we nearly walked out in sesrch of a typical, trendy, dinning experience. I am so glad we didn't! Pisces is by far the freshest served fish we have ever experienced in L.A. It is not unlike your typical sushi shop in Tokyo that is without the frills and gimmicky rolls. This place is all about the fish and rice and boy was it exceptional! Thank you Chef, we can't wait to come back! 😘
This place only seats 2-3 people so it's clearly designed mostly for takeout, but I had the best bowl of ramen (spicy miso ramen) and the best sushi roll (spicy tuna roll crunchy) that I've ever had in my life (including two trips to Japan). You'll probably have a long wait but it's totally worth it.
Super quaint takeaway spot with really great quality fish was super yummy! Packaging was clean and easy as well. Support local!

These guys are the absolute best, our DoorDash driver was being belligerent and wouldn’t wait for the order to be ready, so these guys DROVE the order to our house themselves… Unheard of customer service in todays world. 12/10. Sushi is also incredible.

When I lived nearby, I ate the Chirashi bowls and Spicy Ramen multiple times a week! I would always call in the order before leaving work. Still my favorite sushi place!
Great food and service like always. This is the best sushi I have ever had BY FAR. It is not your typical trendy sushi joint. The freshest most tasty fresh fish in LA. It's worth every second of wait and every penny paid.
Pisces is my favorite sushi place in the South Bay since I discovered this hidden gem. I love that you can go for a walk on the Strand and get some of the highest quality sushi to-go along the way home. It's my favorite night in activity! Truly the love and the quality of the sushi at Pisces can not be beat! I'm amazed at how big the rolls are - you get high quality and high volume for your money. You can tell the sushi chef takes his time and has such pride in his craft. I highly recommend Pisces if you're looking for to-go sushi or Sushi Delivery!
Idc if I have to wait two hours or three damn days. My favorite sushi ever and worth it every single time. Extremely friendly staff, very passionate about the food they’re serving. Very fresh very authentic with a cute elderly Japanese couple who own and run this establishment. This is in my opinion the best sushi in all of SoCal.
Some of the best sushi I’ve had and definitely some of the freshest. You know it’s legit when the ginger is fresh and the soy sauce is uniquely made. We tried a variety of dishes and were not dissatisfied. We order a lot and even though the portions were decently large we weren’t stuffed. Just right! Will order again when we’re in the area.

Fish was fresh and sushi bowl was pretty delicious. However, had to wait over 45 mins to get my order. Definitely recommend calling ahead.

the cheapest packaging i've ever seen. Overpriced. Undercooked rice. Cold salmon. Nobu prices. Hmart quality. a very interesting story from the owner. He called and started asking what nationality I am, Russian or Ukrainian. how does he care? Who would want to talk to a person who calls you and asks what nationality you are? then he wanted to tell the same interesting story, how long he has been working here and everyone likes him. ( Police, fire department) And about the rudeness of the staff - a total lie. I do not advise to visit thid place, it is better to go 100 meters ahead to the Fansea

Wants me to wait 20-30 minutes when they should have been ready 25 minutes ago.
