So the rusty hook is an interesting place. It's a little bit dive bar, a little bit cheers and a little bit..... Different. If you haven't been, it's worth a try. You'll get patted down before you go in but that's how they keep out the riff Raff. The drinks are well made and strong, the clientele is usually really nice and karaoke night is a blast (it's Thursday by the way).

Great service, and a great laid back place to have a drink and unwind. Their Bartender, Amy, is simply amazing! The new management has increased security inside and out, so there is no drama!

Had such a great time! Bartenders were friendly and the service was great! Security did a fantastic job! I'll be back looking for that tall drink of water!

A very sweet and voluptuous friend of mine is a bartender there and I've seen her hustle back there. Very nice bar. It's clean, modern-ish, DJ was a bit loud for my liking but I wear hearing aids.

I have a good time here. The place is pretty diverse sometimes it’s a little rowdy more than other days but the drinks are pretty cheap and the nights that there is a DJ the music is good. Probably one of the more fin bars in town

Been going in since it was Tammy's. Been remodeled. Most of the bartender's are OK.

Standard bar in a centrally located area of Manteca. Some might consider it a dive bar... rustic bar feeling when you enter so I really like that. I have been helped by bartenders that are mean and rude as heck.... but hey I just want my beer. Just get drunk here with your friends.... lots of ruff people tend to party here and look for fights to spice up there boring weekends.

The bar itself is cool, but went there 2 nights in a row, and both nights people are fighting. The second night, I literally pulled into the parking lot and watched someone get dropped, and pulled right out. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The bar was a classic bar. Enjoyable n liquor store right on the other corner. Good vibes

This used to be a fun place but once the owners sold it, it went downhill. Restrooms aren't cleaned regularly, stall hinges are periodically broken. Bartenders are usually great and there's plenty of seating and parking. The owner doesn't care about the place or his customers and it shows.

The bartender and a dry sence of being a custermer servise employee. But this wasnt are 1st rodeo with the same setver he just needs to ACT like he likes his job i guess it dosent cost nobody a cent to throw a smile on once n a while . Im just saying.

Friendly bartender. Cheap drinks. A obnoxious drunk was still being served despite screaming frequently. Additionally the jukebox was being played at a deafening volume that prevented even the semblance of a conversation. I get sometimes drunk people act obnoxious but why choose to play the music that loudly?

First off, great karaoke vibes Thursday night's and all, but the security is a joke. I get patted down the first time, they ask me to leave my tobacco pipe in the car and as soon as I come back they had to pat me down again "just to be sure" i know its just them doing their job and i respect it but a second pat was completely unnecessary. no disrespect to the owner but if they want business to keep money in their pocket they're gonna have to tone it down with security check if they want more customers coming other there is no sign of trust what so ever

I noticed some illegal activties. If cops want to know I can tell . Never visit

First time going. Multiple fights amongst other people. Cops called because of that. Security literally picks and chooses who they let in. I went outside for 30 min and tried to come back inside to grab one last drink calling it a night and they refused entrance at 12:30 pm. However after they let a group of 4 inside after that. Very upsetting. Don’t recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good night. Update: went back to give them a second chance in December 2023 to find out I’m banned for life for putting this google review 😂. Said I’d have to speak to the owner if I wanted to gain access to the bar again. The fact I’m banned from a bar for a google review is pathetic. Not worth my time to call the owner. I’ll be informing all my friends and family to avoid this place by all means necessary.

Went here in a Saturday night with a buddy as our first place to go. Bouncer patted me down - told me I can’t smoke my weed pen inside - I said that’s okay but I’m pretty sure the owner said it was fine. Bouncer proceeded to tell me I couldn’t go in now cause I talked back. When I told him hes acting childish - he threatened to kill me. Literally screamed that he would kill me. Lol I won’t go back to this place cause of the quality of people here.
