Si potrebbe fare meglio! Il locale è molto bello, potenziale 10, i barman gentili. Abbiamo preso due bibite (€ 7,50) e ci hanno portato una scodellina di patatine, agli altri tavoli i tre pezzettini di pizza! Forse si sono scordati.

A pranzo vengono proposti piatti a 10 euro come di qualità. Ne abbiamo presi 3 tipi e tutti e 3 erano pieni di olio. Anche il panino con la cotoletta aveva la carne dura... Non ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

Premetto che non siamo di Mantova e, dato la giornata fredda, cercavamo un posto che facesse caffe' e bevande d'asporto per poter continuare a passeggiare e nel mentre bere qualcosa di caldo. Attirate dagli special coffee abbiamo preso un nocciolino (2,50 euro) e un mocaccino (2 euro) entrambi d'asporto, che pero' sono arrivati in due bicchierini di dimensioni diverse uno piu' piccolo (da caffe') e uno decisamente piu' grande (da cappuccino). Non capendo il perche' della differenza, abbiamo chiesto che quello piu' piccolo venisse messo in un bicchiere piu' grande - come l'altro - e che venisse aggiunto del latte. Al che il barista ci ha chiesto, dopo che avevamo gia' pagato, 0,50 cent in piu' perche' a suo dire "il caffe' costava di piu' perche' aveva aggiunto il latte" (come se negli altri bar facessero pagare il caffe' macchiato di piu' del caffe' normale!!!). In ogni caso ci siamo rifiutate, anche perche' avevamo gia' pagato prima, e siamo uscite; non contento il barista ci ha seguito fuori per un "rimprovero" , poi fortunatamente e' ritornato nel bar. Riassumendo... Bar carino a livello di estetica, ben fornito per quanto riguarda bevande e cibi ma sprovvisto di gentilezza e educazione da parte dei ragazzi del posto o almeno del barista che ci ha servito. Per questo motivo do' una stella al locale.

(I'll start by saying that I only pay €6 for a medium 0.5L beer in the center of Milan at Sorbillo, Luini, or Cracco). I'm giving one star for the food because zero isn't an option. We read that the dishes cost €9, and my three friends on a trip and I went in immediately without thinking, also because the place looked very intriguing. First, we went in and my friend asked if there was room for four, and the owner of the place said yes without showing us to the table, but had to wait for our nod to move forward and seat us. I can't comment on the service; it was done correctly and in the right way. My three friends and I decided to order two first courses and two second courses so we could split half the first course and half the second course, and up until that point, everything was fine. The real problem arose when we heard the sound of a microwave starting up and we literally looked at each other in fear, literally. The dishes arrived, and they seemed to look good, honestly, except when I started with the veal cutlet with mushrooms, which was anything but a perfect veal cutlet—mushrooms from who knows where. I moved on to the lasagna, which was perhaps the least bad, reminding me of a lasagna from elementary school. When I tasted my friend's macaroni with meat sauce (who had already given up on the horror of his meal halfway through), I was in tears and had to cough from the disgusting quality of the meat, both in the ragu and the meatballs, which, frankly, I don't want to sit here and explain what they tasted like. Once I'd laboriously finished, we headed to the cashier, paid, and my friend told the man that €9 for a dish heated up in the microwave and cooked who knows when was definitely too much, considering it's also a bar. The bartender, instead of accepting the criticism, began to respond in a completely calm but arrogant and rude manner, saying that here in Mantua there are no bars with a kitchen and that everyone has a microwave. He concluded with, "This is Mantua."
