A very beautiful place, actually, absolutely stunning. They're currently building a road leading up to the top, as it's currently impassable by bus. You can get there by motorbike, but you'll just have to arrange it with the owner. If you go for lunch here, you can have a picnic with a wonderful view. There's also a bar and restaurant inside, but reservations are required.

A fantastic, timeless place! The dirt road to the fort is accessible by motorbike without any particular technical skills, so be careful. I rode the GS1200 with a passenger. The welcome at the fort was fantastic. Get the new number from the Facebook page and book, it's even better. We arrived at 2:00 PM, six of us. The very kind lady asked in the kitchen and had us sit near the stove, where we were served attentively. Good food, super price.

Beautiful walk, you leave the car in a dirt parking lot and walk along a short stretch of dirt road, the view of the western part of Genoa and the Ligurian Sea is stupendous

A beautiful spot on the ridge of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, with spectacular views. On the Faiallo road, you can stop for a break and a snack, enjoying the breathtaking panorama.

A fantastic panoramic viewpoint, suspended between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Po Valley. The easy access trail allows you to quickly reach the fort, perched among meadows and rolling hills immersed in a natural setting.

Breathtaking view with exceptional hospitality. For those who enjoy a nice half-hour walk there and back I recommend leaving the car at Cappelletta di Masone and from there the path is well-kept and well-marked. Easily done with children of 4 and 5 years. Arriving at the Fort hungry after enjoying the unique view from sea to mountains (thank you Liguria, only you can give us these experiences) an excellent and rich menu awaited us consisting of appetizer (salami and cheese) tagliatelle with ragù, chicken casserole with ratatouille, wine and water at a decidedly competitive price. Very satisfied. We will return, perhaps to spend the night there too

It was closed on the day I visited, but it's still worth a visit. It offers a spectacular view of the sea and all of Genoa. Parking along the SP73 road leads to a dirt road that's not difficult or tiring, and it takes 5-10 minutes to reach this fort. There are two picnic tables.

Excellent stop on the AVML. The care the staff put into managing the fort is commendable. Also recommended for an aperitif on the go.

If you're looking for a refined and chic place, this isn't the right place. If you want a four-poster room, this isn't the right place. If you want to choose from the menu and wine list, this isn't the right place. If you want the convenience of a thousand modern amenities just steps away, this isn't the right place. If you're looking for a rustic and welcoming place, this isn't the right place. If you appreciate the work that goes into nailing every single plank together so you can sleep in a dorm bed, this isn't the right place. If you appreciate simple, local products, served in abundance, this isn't the right place. If you're looking for a unique place, where you can understand, accept, and appreciate the flaws of the structure's age and its original purpose, immersed in a breathtaking setting, with views of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, where once you enter you'll forget about using your cell phone and the day will be enriched by the company of a glass of wine, the warmth of one of the thousands of stoves the young people keep burning, if you're curious to hear about the fort, what it means to keep it open, and you appreciate the work these young people do to make it possible, then yes! THE FORT IS THE PLACE. And you'll come back.

Beautiful place, but we went when it was still too cold. We'll definitely be back! Aside from the wind, the place was breathtaking even despite the fog. I can't wait to see it all green in the warmer temperatures, as it's completely covered in grass, except for the façade, which is beautiful. They were also renovating so you can stay overnight. I think it was a truly evocative experience. We visited the fort, and it was really well-maintained. There was also a small bar where you can warm up. Wonderful!

Spectacular location, they hosted us at the last minute without a reservation with excellent polenta and sausage, modest service but that's right, when you have a warm place and good food the rest takes second place!

Luogo dove si può raggiungere anche con una moto da enduro, spettacolare panorama, il Forte offre anche un servizio di ristorazione, e se non siete particolarmente esigenti va bene, comunque conviene prenotare. Dallo stesso punto, ci sono vari percorsi trekking.

A beautiful spot, on the road leading to the Faiallo Pass, reached after about 500 meters of dirt road. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit because it's only open on Saturdays and Sundays. In any case, it's not to be missed... the views are truly spectacular.

An exceptional view. Inside the fort you can eat something and enjoy the cool air, even in July. It's worth a visit.

Mix Adventure

Beautiful panoramic view, excellent food, comfortable beds, but it's humid inside (it's strong). The wind can change the weather in 5 minutes. Nice ride.
