Best Boil Seafood in town ，their prices are very reasonable ! I have celebrated my birthday party there all my family and friends very happy of what they ordered and the stuff are very helpful explaining the menu since is our first time. We will be back !

This is hands down, the best Chinese food in Syracuse. Dine in or pick up, you can't beat the price, the quantity, or the quality. This could be the best kept secret in Syracuse.

Only been there once. Surprised to find they had vegan meat dishes. Some of the best Chinese I have had in Syracuse, which is not saying a lot given the scene her is not great.

Recently, in Mattydale King Seafood opened and thought I would give it a shot.. Holy Shxx this place is AMAZING. The staff is awesome and always have smiles. Reminds me of the boils I ate while stationed in Louisiana. The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. They offer combos that easily feed two people.

Just when I thought seafood couldn't get any better, King Seafood opened. They were late to the seafood boil bag game in Syracuse so I have already sampled all of their competition so I can firmly say King Seafood has the best Boiled Seafood bags in Syracuse. The local competitors have good flavor but its over board and stays with you on your cloths and in your mouth for days, Its not the case at King Seafood perfectly balanced with amazing taste.

Was looking for a good place to have dinner with my family and glad we stumbled across this place! Our waitress tarrah was amazing! 10/10 will recommend and will be back!

King Seafood our new favorite dining place. And best of all it is in Mattydale! The shrimp and scallops were fresh and perfectly prepared the potatoes and corn were yummy with the garlic butter and Old Bay seasoning. Best of all the hush puppies were a perfect addition. The staff is attentive and helpful. Please, make it a point to have a GREAT seafood dinner. Oh, there are choices for those landlubbers you might be bringing with you.

This is definitely the BEST in the Syracuse area. Went there for lunch with my daughter and the soup dumplings were the best ever. Haven't had anything close to that good since I ate at a restaurant in China Town NYC. If you haven't been, PUT THIS PLACE ON YOUR LIST. Awesome, just awesome.

A great place for sit down family style chinese food. Food served with tea and noodle crackers. With a special food menu of wonderful dishes from Peking Duck, to Ox tail soup, along with traditional favorites all reasonably priced. Take-out is also offered, as well as a decent wine menu. Would highly recommend!

I love the food every time I go here. My service is always good. My only issue is that they need more lighting and not to play rachet music.

A consistent favorite. When friends or family are in town ialways take them here. My friends and I have also started having our birthday parties here because they were so accommodating! We were nervous about bringing a birthday cake into a restaurant and they insisted in taking it and keeping it in the fridge to keep it cool! The staff is always great about giving honest recommendations based on your person taste. I got the Peking duck and it was amazing. Crispy skin and tender meat. Seriously, check this place out.

Have been looking for a good Chinese takeout place in the area for months. Came across China Road and we are so glad we ordered from here!!! So clean inside, staff very friendly, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!

This is the very best Chinese food within 200 miles! It's authentic cooking by a Master Chef... none of that syrupy crappy Chinese food you get at every single other place in town. It is a must-experience if you live or are visiting. On the inside it looks kind of shabby, but make no mistake-- China Road is the best asian cuisine in town, As an aside, my daughter is a vegetarian, and she loves their fake-meat menu as well.

I wish I could show you pics but it was so good it didn’t even cross my mind until it was too late. We had the house seasoning and had it medium. I added corn and potatoes because we planned on sharing with our kids 🫣 totally didn’t. It was so flavorful. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in ages. Strongly recommend!

Food may take a little long to come out but it’s 10000X worth it. You asked for spice? You get real spice. The King Seafood seasoning is beyond best seafood boil I’ve ever had. Their service is always fast and correct. The food has been good every time we’ve had it! The seasoning is perfect and they have tasty non hot flavors for kids. It’s the only place my husband will go for our seafood boils.

Very nice rustic make-over if the former take-out place. Very clean and welcoming. Friendly attentive staff/service. Higher prices on specialized menu but generous potions and perfectly cooked and presented. I would not call it a "Chinese" restaurant from the lunch menu. However, we were very satisfied, and highly recommend a visit.

My partner and I weren't sure what to expect from this place as it looks like it's a little hole in the wall dive, but the food there is absolutely outrageous! Astonishing is it may sound, this place has the best scallops that I've ever had in my life and their seafood boils were second to none. We will definitely be returning here!

It's long over due for a review. I am a King Seafood lover. The experience is always A1. The environment is always welcoming plus the service adds great value. The food no matter what I received from the Seafood Boil, to the chicken wings and even the salad to just name a few all taste so good. If you want seasoning with every bite you are at the right place. This has truly become my one number favorite spot. There's never a long wait and greeted always with a smile. I've had dine in, take out and delivery nothing lacks in food portion. You will be satisfied! They know me by name I go so much. I just love it! Bring yourself, a date or entire family you will be satisfied from beginning to the end. As for the prices to me it's reasonable so you get a quality meal without breaking the bank. The minute we walked in the smell of spices was amazing. Our server Sean was super helpful, friendly and conscientious. It was our first time at King Seafood and we were blown away with our seafood boils. I ordered the build your own with 1 lb of snow crab with potatoes and egg and my significant other had the Loster boil that included shrimp, sausage, corn and potato. What surprised us was the menu choice of spices and heat. We both got mild. His was Old Bay and mine was Cilantro and garlic. When they were served, they looked so good I forgot to take a picture. But I did get a picture of my very full partner and his empty plate! We’ll be back soon and taking pictures!

I drive 40 min to come here. Have been multiple times and it is amazing every time. I think some of the low reviews are not even for this place!! Or if you dont know the food comes in a bag then that is your fault not theirs!.. Hoping to be back soon :)

Not sure why the reviews are 4.1 on google, this place is 5 stars. First off, I’m from FL and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a seafood boil that could compare in this area. I was wrong, this place has the best seafood boil I’ve ever had. The king seafood special sauce is addicting. I got extra hot and it was perfect. The portions were huge and I didn’t even make a dent!

Had excellent snow crab legs. They have several seasoning options. We tried their Cajun and Old Bay options and both were great. We also tried their Buffalo wings which were delicious and their butterfly shrimp was good as well. The staff was fast and friendly. Will definitely keep in mind for the next time we want crab legs.

Decided to come here for New Years Eve! This place is a hidden gem! We ordered king crab boil with Cajun seasoning, fried shrimp basket, and crab ragoon appetizer. Best I ever had. Better get in there before everyone finds out!

We love going here, orders for pick up are ready quick, huge seafood boils, the sauce they use for the boils is really well done. Definitely recommend adding shrimp, sausage, egg and mussels to seafood boil. Fried Haddock dinner is also great, awesome place.

My husband and I absolutely love king seafood!! They season the food so beautifully and when you ask for hot, the food is actually spicy, which we love! Been eating from here for 6 years and will never stop! My personal favorite is the SSS bag!

Savings on Togo orders written below is my dine-in experience Delicious! We went on father’s day and they were very accommodating. Food was great and the table was dressed with napkins, gloves, crackers, and table cloths. I recommend the snow crab combo meal for $40. King crab was also ordered and though king crab is harder to crack and pointier, bigger meat is worth the struggle! The atmosphere is unconventional, it was in an unexpected almost hidden location with some seating.

China Road is the best tasting Chinese food in the area. It is an austere sit down restaurant. I do not go there for the ambiance but for the quality of the food. For lunch we were greeted with tea and some fried noodles and duck sauce The wonton soup is very good. It is clear and tasty. The wonton is delicate, light and fresh tasting. This is nothing like the over starched yellow processed wonton you get at most take outs. My fried rice and shrimp lunch special was excellent. There were almost a dozen shrimp, for $6.95, I was pleased. The fried rice was fresh and light. There was egg white and a small medley of vegetables. White onion made an appearance in the rice and was cooked to perfection, I could tell this by the crispness it had. Like a previous review, there is little ambiance(no candles at the tables) here. The waitress was very welcoming with a nice smile and demeanor. This place looks clean and smells good. Ample parking in the back and side.

We went here because a family member gave us a Groupon. We normally go to the Storming Crab on Eerie BLVD, and we didn’t know this place was open and closer since we live in North Syracuse. The food here was by far better in every way in our opinion. The boil was less oily and didn’t leave a sick feeling as the other place did. The shrimp was great they were split top de veined (de pooped) this made them taste better and way easier to peel. Crab legs were cooked well, and the corn was very good not mushy and over cooked. The lobster roll was stuffed full of Lobster which tasted great. I enjoyed the place we were sat, which was just in to the left of the front register, had nice soft music and overall nice atmosphere. Only things I think they would improve upon is the cut and paste price changes on the menu which is a little distasteful, the picture of the lobster roll on the menu seems stock as it is totally different ingredients then what came. Overall the taste stole the show for us and we left with the intent to come back and eat again. We hope that this restaurant continues to grow and improve so that more can come to experience the great tasting food in the future. Thank you

Yummy! On my first visit, I had the steamed vegetable dumplings, is 3 enough? It is for me. The dumplings were very beautiful, and tasty. The searvise was nice too. I will return.

This was my first time trying this resturaunt and it was good. I ordered take out and it was pretty cheap. Egg rolls were great. The only thing I didn’t like was that the chicken looked like pork... other then that it was good and cheap.

They met my expectations for Chinese food. I got sweet and sour pork. It wasn't the style I expected, it was a puffed fried ball of batter with a piece of pork in it sitting in sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was delicious, more sweet than sour. My date got moo goo gai pan and it was delicious. It had copious amounts of mushrooms, with carrots, water chestnut, bamboo shoots and snow peas over a pile of chicken. The sauce for that was very good as well. The fried rice was not too greasy either. From the items we got I would say this is a solid choice for Chinese food.

This place was really good. Way better than Cuse catch n grill. Food is plentiful and price is Good. The only thing that they should change is the eating area in the front needs to be made more private for the people eating..

*Try* the whole crispy fish with hot bean sauce. It feeds 2-3 (four if you eat like a baby) and is amazing - succulent fish, crispy skin, rich and spicy sauce. Also had the szechuan beef off the "authentic" menu, delicious. Overall the service was excellent, the food even better and we're already die-hard fans. :) I cannot WAIT to try the Peking Duck.

Don't let the appearance of the restaurant deter you. What may be lacking in decor or general ambiance is easily made up in the food. This is a restaurant that focuses on it's food; and it tastes like it too. Great food and good prices. This is a great spot.

Went for dinner on Monday and was seated quickly. Staff was friendly and the boils came out nice and hot. The cook of the seafood was good and seasoning was delicious. Reasonably priced. I’d dine there again.

I’m confused. I just walked in there for lunch. Place was open, not a person in site. Waited about 5 minutes never saw anybody. While waiting I looked at a menu. It’s all seafood which is fine but google and reviews say it’s Chinese? Never got to eat as I finally just left. Maybe it’s good.

I'm not so sure about the gurgling noises I heard behind the curtain the entire time I was eating there. Indecipherable yelling, incoherent babbling (intermixed with some stifled sobs), and then a short struggle--followed by some gurgling. It all happened really fast. The cook came out with what I assume to be teriyaki sauce on his hands. I hope the next experience there is better.

I did not care much for the garlic chicken, but it was prepared differently then I'm use to from other resturants. My family enjoyed the sesame chicken. We all enjoyed the crab rangoon and egg rolls.

The food is still pretty good after the new owners took over, although I miss the old owners a lot. Service could be better. Not very friendly, and did not speak Chinese, made it harder to order traditional Chinese dishes.

Went to this place for Valentine's 2018. Thinking we would get great food with no crowds. We ordered the mixed plate appetizer. Everything was deep fried and was drenched in oil. We couldn't finish it. Then I ordered the Peking duck. Unfortunately I have eaten enough duck to know this was not frrsh cooked at the restaurant maybe bought in pre cooked and warmed through. Pancakes were too thick. The Sezuan Beef. Was so oily my wife couldn't eat it. I hope I picked a bad day. But this food was not even up to the standard of your local high street take away China garden or Ling Ling.

Went a few days ago with a friend and used the 30 dollars off of 60 Groupon deal, went a couple days later and attempted to use same coupon and now it mattered that it said four people. So we attempted to use the one for two people and meanwhile the manager removed it from Groupon so we couldn’t. Extremely unprofessional manager, waitresses were nice, good was good first time, second time the crab legs tastes like dirty fishy water and corn was soggy pre frozen. Won’t return

I'd say some of their items are tasty but the rest are substandard. The staff can be a bit more welcoming and hospitable. I wouldn't recommend it to friends. There are better Chinese restaurants in town.

So the two stars are because the boil itself was pretty decent. Good flavor and sauce. The lack of stars is for the terrible service we had, the messed up order and the not so good raw oysters. Our waitress took forever with everything and she walked around with a very nonchalant attitude. As if she didn’t care to be there or working at all. We waited forever for food. No limes for the corona (not a huge deal but pretty typical for any restaurant to have them). The orders came out at odd timing. The raw oysters were very small and did not taste fresh. They forgot the sausage in the one boil but did bring it out after I mentioned it. I will wait a month or so and go back and see if they have some kinks worked out. For now, the rating stays.

I won't give them 1 star since the flavor of their special sauce is really good. However, service was terrible and everything but the shrimp was overcooked. I'm not sure if the experience would be better dining in, but it's definitely not worth it for takeout.

The place has lost it's charm - food was substandard. Ordered a kung Pao Chicken and fried rice combo but it was too salty and just not edible. The egg roll was half done and full of oil. Sad to see one of my favorites where I ate every week for years is no longer the same.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.!!! They gave me someone else’s food & promised a 50$ refund yet it’s been a week and I haven’t received anything.! This place is a joke they won’t fix their mistakes stay away.!!!!!

Git a to go for over 40$ !! They charged me $20 for a lobster tail with one small size of a quarter lobster, a half of piece of dried up corn and 3 skinny crab legs with blno meat in them AND SOGGY!! RIP OFF!!

Horrible experience to say the least. The nightmare began when my appetizer came out frozen! I bit into my crab rangoon which apparently they cook from frozen becuz the cebter was cold and awful. I asked the waitress to take them back and I did NOT want them. A few minutes later she returned with a plate of refried crab rangoons (minus 1 oddly enough) This time around they apparently deep fried them longer lol. Well it got worse when the lemon chicken came out the same as the sweet and sour chicken and speaking of chicken, where's the chicken?! You can tear the deep fried ball of so called chicken only to find it was basically consisting of batter and the smallest bite of chicken ever! Plus the chicken and dough was goey inside smh. NEVER AGAIN! VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST GONE NEVER TO RETURN! $35 down the drain along with this food, wishing I had a dog to feed it to then again I wouldn't do that to my dog. Is this the best you can do CUSE?

The place has no beauty to it for all the money they charge and they sat us in the back of the restuarant where it was freezing cold. Forgot about us for a half an hour. Worst chinese food in syracuse. Lo mein was slimey and tasteless. "Shrimp egg roll" didnt have one peice of shrimp. Vegetarian friend made a recommendation of this place, but the meat was terrible.

Avoid at all costs. They do not know how to pack a to-go order. We ordered food to go and got them in clear plastic bags with holes in them. Sauce was dripping out. The taste is ok service is terrible, they need to hire employees with common sense.

Tried take out, and I was very disappointed in the food. The won ton soup was completely inedible, had to throw it out,!and the crab rangoons weren't good either. I also didn't like the yellow rice with huge chucks of onions in it. The General Tso's chicken was the only thing decent. Absolute waste of money.

In the words of Christopher Walken, I got a fever, and what this fever needed was Chinese food. Unfortunately this was not the pill to cure my ill. In the past this restaurant served wine with dinner, but that is a thing of the past. The Shanghai soup dumplings were tasty but some seemed to come with a sausage filling and some did not. The Chinese broccoli was nicely prepared but drowning in sauce. The soft shell crab with a ginger scallion sauce was again well prepared but extremely bland. A shrimp dish was surprisingly fried with a tasteless batter, but it did come with a nice garlicky gingery chili sauce. The pea greens on the specials menu were not to be had. All in all, a disappointing meal.

I ordered the catfish plate with Cajun fries. This is not what I had expected. I thought that New York held themselves to a higher standard. I am from New Orleans, LA. The catfish was squished and the seasoning in the breading was horrible. The “Cajun Fries” is not seasoned at all. Can y’all please take this off your menu since you can’t do it correctly.

Very poor service there was only two people working on a Friday evening. It took a long time to get the food. The crab wasn’t cooked properly very difficult to get from the shell. Spent $165. And left over half the food there. Very disappointed. Also, the layout of the restaurant is not good. I would rather not have people watching me eat while they wait to be seated.

We ate at China Road about a month ago and whilst the service is decent we would definitely not recommend the restaurant unless you like rice and tofu only. We are vegetarians and the dishes we ordered had nothing but tofu and rice and a bite or two of vegetables. Our dishes literally had only a bite of broccoli and one snow pea and one mushroom. The best advice is to find another restaurant or eat at home!

My doctor is from Hunan province in China, and 10 years ago, she recommended China Road for authentic Chinese cuisine. And I'd enjoyed their food since. UNTIL. They changed ownership. The food I got was among the worst Chinese I'd ever eaten. I won't be back.

Absolutely gross! LOL to the reply from King Seafood. You want to deliver an even better experience next time? Why, that would take delivering a good experience the first time which it was NOT. The scallops I received were the tiniest things I've ever seen wrapped in grease and tasteless dough. The fries tasted like they were fried in chemicals. Your waitstaff didn't know what they were doing and the ambiance was horrible, so yeah. The only way you could go is up.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order from this place! We ordered the food online and did a pick-up due to the COVID. We tried ordering in person but was told we would have to call-in instead. The employee said herself they’re not busy so we’ll be able to order quick but makes me wonder why didn’t she just write down our order if that’s the case? So we did what we had to and called in. About 30 mins later we got our food wrapped in the bags attached w/ missing utensils. Worst experience ever!

My first time trying this place and after spending over 50$ I will never order from here again. I usually go to another spot but I wanted to try this place and the food was awful. The seafood was over cooked and rubbery. The only thing that tasted good was my corn and my rice. The egg was absolutely disgusting and rotten. I couldn’t even finish my food straight into the trash. I’ve never had seafood boil this bad before.
