Everything was great, but the tortillas were the best part of the meal. They aren’t the flimsy paper thin ones that you get from the supermarkets. They were thick and sturdy, made for holding their contents and yet still not being chewy. I could have eaten just the tortillas and been satisfied, but I got the carne guisada plate. The meat (all except one piece) was fall apart tender and had a good flavor. It wasn’t so spicy that it couldn’t be tasted like so many other places I’ve been. The staff were very friendly and polite. I don’t get into Seguin often but when I do get there in the future, I’ll definitely be stopping off there for food. I’m anxious to try some of their other offerings.

So I must say I had stopped dining in at this neighborhood spot for a while due to they would clean with Fabuloso and OMG you could smell in food and it was also always cold in there. But Drive Thru always an option which worked out great as their caldos and tacos and Mexican plate are awesome. But most recently my husband said they remodeled so we ventured back inside. We have been back 3 times within 2 weeks. Perfect temperature. Our waitress always very nice. They tend to you pretty quick. My go to is Carne Guisada taco. It is the brownish gravy (not red), the meat is very tender, the tortillas homemade and my taco is huge and very filling. My husband's and grandsons go to, is the Carne Asada plate and have gotten each time we come. Normally for to go we always order the Mexican plate for my son and husband . Great menu prices!! Always open even late. Lately always driving around to see which Mexican restaurant as many now close early but not this one. Always plenty of parking. Honestly the to go line sometimes have to wait bit but worth it as food comes out fresh and hot! Tortillas are really good!!!

Best Tortillas I have had in a long time delicious, service great atmosphere very friendly. We came out of town and felt very home vibe.

My companion and I needed brunch and this establishment delivered. The first green flag was a herd of local PD dining there. Folks who know the town know where to eat. Good came out quick. Tortillas were the best I have had in years. Very good prices. My companion and I made quick work of the food. No talking. It was that good.

Ordered their caldo to go, got home looked ok but when I tasted, ugh! Tasted like it had some cleaning fluid in it like Fabuloso or something like it! Called to complain n lady hung up on me! Now this is 2nd time something like this happens , month ago I ordered enchiladas n I detected a flavor that should be- I asked my grandson to taste it n he too spit it out! I didn’t complain that time! Either they are not rinsing their pots n pans or they are being careless! Buyer beware!! 😫

We have been going here for many years and lately their meat has been coming out as cooked fat. Very low quality meat:( Tonight we ordered takeout and they only gave us half of mine and my wife’s meal. We still had to cook dinner for ourselves:( very disappointing.

I orded 1- pappa ranchera and 1-carne guisda and they were both trash the carne guisda gravy was really light color like to much flour and the other one was full of onions

The wait is horrible Every single time I go to the drive. Was trying to get breakfast before work.They open at 530am. Called in an order at 525 am. The lady took my order and said OK. Got there and she said nothing is ready and will be a 25 minute wait. Mind you im the only person there! Why say open at 530am and nothing is ready till damn near 6. I was a loyal customer loved their tacos. Not that it'll hurt them but they lost my business.

ordered the carne guidada plate and a water my water came with a tiny dead roach on top of my ice 🤮 i showed the waitress before i left she was surprised i was leaving and did not want to eat there anymore 😆
