The quality of the service and food is worth the price of the food. Carl's jr has been a staple in my life since I was a young kid. Now it's my time to pass those memories to my children. I hope they get out of this experience what I did when as a youngster my family and I would eat here after attending mass.

My fries were hot and fresh my western was delicious the onion ring fresh and it had just the perfect amount of sauce I will defenily came back more often, the service was great

The service is fast and friendly however twice in a row the side of guacamole which costs $1.30 was left out of our bags after being paid for. Both times I did not see the mistake until I got home as I was in the drive through and it was dark so I was unable to verify the full order.

I only used the drive thru, so no analysis of inside. Workers were good communicators and got my custom order precise (which always makes kids very happy). They were polite and the food tasted great. Will go here again 👍

I rarely go to Carl's jr. Because they are expensive. So I use this coupon to a chicken fillet sandwich free with the purchase of a chicken fillet sandwich combo. So the actual meal is almost twelve bucks. That is a lot but I did get the extra sandwich. So why would anyone pay that much? That was a really good sandwich and the fries were good too and my son loved it . The sandwich was not dry it was a little juicy and it's real chicken

My usual go to places are Taco Bell or the sub shop in Atwater so I was really impressed with their chicken burger I think it's called a chicken club very very good haven't tried many other things on the menu but I would be inclined to go back and try other sandwiches I gave him five stars because I think they did their job well and they deserved it

I recently had an amazing experience with customer service, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The representative, Siena Casey was incredibly attentive and patient while I was ordering. What stood out the most was Siena's genuine willingness to help. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. It's rare to find such dedicated and caring customer service, and Siena truly exemplified what excellent customer service should be. I am thoroughly impressed and grateful for the outstanding service I received.

I have been to this carls jr many times and the workers are nice, there is one employee there named Siena who never disappoints, I always receive excellent customer service when she’s working! I always hope she is the one working the drive thru because she always gets the order correct without a doubt.! She has the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen and it always brightens my day everytime!

The customer service was impeccable. Jacob, the shift lead was probably the most courteous food service worker I have met in years. That is huge factor when deciding which places I frequent. I’ll be back for sure. Oh yeah…food is pretty tasty too.

It's 12:30 in the afternoon Tuesday June 4th. Another big plus was I actually got a burger that looks like the picture as advertised very happy to see restaurants still doing so. Would definitely come back to this location. Was very clean bathroom was decent. Are you can drink. Salsa bar. Kids play area outside with tables and chairs also outside. Easy to find off the street. I've known candy at Carl's Jr for at least 25 years I've been coming here and she is so awesome she has awesome customer service even when she's going through something you can't tell because she's always got to smile on her face and she's worried about how her customers Phil if she's not a manager she should be a manager or maybe a regional supervisor or something because she got so much talent and I feel like it's just being wasted behind the drive-thru window she's so awesome and sweet and she stays busy and she knows what she's doing please consider her for a promotion or at least a raise

My experience at this Carl’s Jr was great! The lady at the cash register Mani was very sweet and kind efficient, I didn’t feel any pressure at all when I was deciding what I wanted. The lobby was clean and everything organized, and she even was able to check on me while I was eating to make sure I needed anything.

It was one of the nicest interactions I've had there. I was already having a bad start for the day this morning. Decided to get myself a Breakfast Burger. The gal who took my order was super nice on the order and even more nicer when I pulled up. I got my order and asked for ketchup. Her response to that simple request legitimately made me happy and smile. It wasn't what she did. It was how she said it that made me feel better! I believe she was a manager. The fountain drinks are self serve coke products. This place was clean, didn't have any bad smells and was not crowded or noisy. They take ebt. I enjoyed my lunch.

It's a fast food hamburger joint, with better quality hamburgers than most. The drive-through was very busy but their dining room was empty. I asked to customize my order and the staff person was entirely cooperative. Staff here are always nice, friendly and courteous. My experimental sandwich was good and I was happy with it.

Okay I love Carl's juniors lettuce burgers get are delicious but the Carl's juniors pricing has gotten out of control like most fast food restaurants in California. California fast food prices are turning everyone into home cooks again.

This fast-food chain restaurant is fast, friendly, & reliable. A little more expensive than other fast-food chain restaurants, which is why I'm giving it four stars & not five. It does have value meals, but one pays more for quality than quantity. This Carl's Jr. is 24 hours and convenient no matter what hour of the day or night it maybe.

Chocolate milkshake could have used a bit more chocolate!!!! But other than that it was yummy

From the Famous Star cheeseburger, Western Bacon Burger, Chicken Quesadillas, Fried Zucchini, and crazy good REAL milkshakes and/or malts you can't go wrong. 🍨🍧🍦 💯 The service is always good too. 🌴Some really nice, warm, folks work here, young and more mature, both ends of the spectrum are truly good people. Store is always clean. Someone was smart and took out the mirrors from the bathrooms! 😎

The worst thing about this one in California is just how expensive it was. It was also dirty like no one had cleaned the tables. But they had great service and really delicious food!

Prices have gotten way out of hand. Also the food doesn't seem as good anymore. Like something has changed. It's hit or miss. Some are better than others being a franchise. I still occasionally have to stop in for a double western.

I had the truffle bacon burger... So disappointed. I ate it because it cost $10... Never again definitely not something I'd ask for again. That so-called truffle sauce tasted like white cheddar sauce no flavor. Nothing else. The onion ring strings had a old taste to them. The hype on this is not worth it. I can say the beef patty was good. More and more I am disappointed on how sloppy the burgers are put together. Now the fish sandwich was not a sandwich just a breaded fish fillet slapped into a mayo ? Sauced bun and an ugly piece of lettuce that not even a rabbit would eat. This was one of my favorite places, but since the laziness that has been put into the food. I won't be coming back to any Carl's Jr. Franchises. The fish sandwich was for my boyfriend. For the price payed at this establishment we might as well of gone to a good restaurant out of town.😳

They need to hire more people. The manager was hardly the drivetrow place the front and taking on a personal phone call. Just purchase a orange drink and there was a homeless person that keep on talking to me over and over so I purchase so breadfast for her and left.

The staff was friendly. They had a promotion so they were getting hit and they were under staffed. Having worked in fastfood before, being patient was not an issue. What i do have an issue with is that a promotional order was taken out and given to a customer that had a special request and the worker retrieved the order and gave it to another customer instead of getting rid of the order like they’re suppose to. If I can see it, the other customer could see it. He looked at it and was going to say something but decided not to make a fuss. Thats unsanitary and against food regulations to be reserving an order that was sent back. Makes me wonder what they do with our drive thru orders.

We ordered the Diablo burger with Angus patties and one with normal patties, the angus turned out fantastic but the regular kinda slid all over the place. The service was quick to take the order and serve us food. The parking lot was pretty empty aside from a couple walking their dog and a shady character walking around with a bag.

We'll, how good the food is depends on what you order, doesn't it. So the hand-breaded chicken sandwich (likelihood of actual human hands doing more than dumping chicken parts into a machine 5%) which looked pretty blah doused in plain mayo, but was sadly not improved by their Santa Fe sauce (NO odds on any New Mex Chiles) and was a sad and unpalatable thing.

Had an overpriced meal because I had to wait for my car to be serviced. Went back to the counter to order something else and the price was higher than the menu price. I told her and she gave me a lower price that was higher the the menu price. She than said "we haven't changed the prices yet on the menu". I will not be back to this Carl's jr.

I don't know what happened to this place but the patties definitely got smaller and the overall burger is way sloppier. Been coming here for over 10 yrs and I was shocked with my order recently. I hope this doesn't become the norm because the new burger spot next door looks to be taking all the business. Gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and will try again another day but this last time was unacceptable for how expensive it is here

I usually have no issues with Carl's JR!! This visit was an exception. The western burger was extremely dry, very little bbq sauce. The chicken tenders seemed to have been sitting for a while, they were cold and dried out , to top things off I was not offered nor did I receive any dipping sauce . The attendant seemed to be in a hurry or preoccupied. Maybe he was new ??? Hopefully the next visit will be the norm , great food and great service . P.S the side salad was great!!

Dear lord, at 10:37pm I bought 2 Angus burgers and am sad to say they tasted like the salt shaker fell in both the burgers. Please make sure this doesn't happen again. I have my receipt and they said I need the burger? I thought it may be the bun and lettuce but was the patty. Had to feed my daught the bun tomato an lettuce only. Very disappointed 😞

I just left there. The gal was a little rude so I lost my appetite. She spoke to me like I was an idiot because I didn't hear her when she said that fish sandwiches were only served during lent. "You know Lent, the catholic holiday!" RUDE! I didn't order food there because of this.

This place is very hit and miss but lately it has just been nothing but misses. There food has been awful the past few time I've been here. Their "Freshly Baked Buns" and stale and taste of cardboard, their patties are horrible. You can easily tell that they just reheat their patties in a microwave, they are so dry. The frys here aren't even that good either.

When you order a burger no cheese and they make you pull forward with nobody behind you. After waiting they bring your food, you get home and of course they put cheese. What happened to quality control. As a lactose intolerant person they ruined your meal. When you call they say "come back and we will cook you a correct burger " . I said I expected a correct burger the first time and no I will not drive back onto Merced. I'm so disappointed because they didn't need to add cheese , they chose to.

We always come to this Carl’s Jr and when you are in the drive thru it’s not a problem at all, the young man that works the window is always very nice and helpful. Going inside is totally different. No one greets you at all, then they proceed to walk around without acknowledging anyone waiting in line, today there were 4 of us waiting while the women walked around ignoring us all. It’s so upsetting that this is the kind of service every food place offers these days. I really wish these places would hire people that WANT to work.

They charged me twice for the same order, when I eventually noticed the overcharge on my bank statement and called them to discuss it. They were not very friendly or helpful in any way what so ever. Needless to say I’m not getting my money back because I need to drive all the way to Merced with official paper bank statements. Bunch of thieves working there. The overcharge was no accident. Stay very far away from this establishment.

Ordered online to pick up through drive through and there was a much older lady (Elderly) who was being incredibly rude and gave me attitude. She was by herself and there were no customers at all. Because I forgot to add some condiments to my order digitally, I asked the lady for some condiments after receiving the food. She rolled her eyes and puffed, stated that I should’ve put it into the order when placing it. I even apologize before asking for condiments because i genuinely forgot. The burger was incredibly dry as well. This was my first time coming to this Carls Jr as I always go to the one on Olive. All I can say is that, this is the worst Carl’s Jr service and experience. This will be my first and last time coming to this Carls Jr.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to get food after work at 1am and no one answered or even say anything. I pulled up to the window and the guy and girl was just standing there talking and messing around doing shit. A white girl and a bald head guy, just ignored us and didn’t even say nothing or answer us at all at the speaker. They refuse service to us when we called them numerous times saying hello, hello, is anyone there. Very very unprofessional and bad, also rude. I went today 12/20/25 in the morning at 1am. I am very unsatisfied. You guys need to hire better employees who actually do their job. We didn’t not get anything at all, no greetings and no hello or could we please wait a minute. Bad workers.

I had a really bad experience going in to this restaurant on V st. First off the manager who works there whose name tag said Gloria, she didn’t greet us at all, she had this mad face on and was very rude!! When ordering my food she didn’t bother to repeat my order and just handed my receipt to me without saying a Thank you! Once my food was ready she brought me my food to the table where I was sitting and she literally just placed it on the table turned away as I said “thank you” this lady really needs to work on her customer service because her attitude is just not professional.

A while back when I was asked what my favorite fast food restaurant was it was always Carl’s Jr. They’ve always had the best burger in town. But their prices have just gotten too high. This morning, I thought I would venture back in to try the breakfast special, two breakfast sandwiches for three bucks. However, I needed to use the restroom rather urgently when I came in the door. However, no one was at the counter. When someone finally did come, the manager, I was told I needed to order something first. I told her it was urgent! She just turned around and said she was sorry. I waited. The urgency subsided a bit but was still present and could rage back at any moment. When the manager did come back, I had my phone out, my app opened up, but was having trouble finding the special that I wanted. I asked her if I could please just use the restroom and then I would definitely order from there! She just said that she didn’t have time to clean it if it was dirty and that I would have better luck going next-door to McDonald’s! At that point, I didn’t want to eat there anymore anyways as I had lost my appetite. The idea that the manager who is serving my food and working in the kitchen would also be the custodian cleaning up a potentially messy bathroom actually made me nauseous. I don’t think that’s even legal. Anyway, it’s very bad policy. I did make it to McDonald’s, fortunately. I was greeted with friendliness and compassion, and the bathroom door was opened immediately! I understand there’s a homeless situation here in Merced but does a Business really think that locking people out of the bathroom AND refusing to let them use it is the solution? I’M A SENIOR CITIZEN. I DRIVE A NICE CAR. I HAVE A NICE IPHONE. MY CLOTHES ARE CLEAN. MY HANDS ARE WASHED. MY FACE IS SHINING AND USUALLY BRIMMING EAR TO EAR WITH A SMILE BECAUSE I KNOW MY SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. I routinely assist those experiencing homelessness with food, rides to places, a cigarette or just someone to talk to to make their day a bit brighter. I’m not sure if my unfair treatment at Carl’s Jr was a one off or it’s become the policy or for some reason, I was perceived as less than human. Needless to say, I will never know because I will never be going back.

I come here all the time and the food is always good. Yesterday, my wife and I ordered our usual, California burger and a chicken club. The buns had a foul smell, the chicken was not cooked completely. We couldn't eat past the 1st bite. Last night, our restroom was busy. This is the only time we have had this problem here.

I love eating here but it really makes me mad. I ordered a simple Western bacon burger with large fries and a drink, but they gave me small fries, how can you miss that up. That point is if I am ordering it is there job to write everything down and give the right order out. The staff should work on not messing up the orders because I shouldn't have to pay for something I'm not going to get, and also having to check the food to make sure everything is there. Still a great fast food restaurant but they need to be aware of what they give out.
