Riquisimo cafe, puedes escoger el de tu agrado para tu pedido, el barista es bastante atento, y te explica hacerla de lo preparados que realizan. Experiencia exquisita 10 de 10.

At Café Riqueza, the moka is straight-up excellent. Bold, deep, slightly chocolatey, zero bitterness. Thick body, clean finish, no over-roast bullshit. You taste the bean, not the machine. This isn’t a “cute café moka”, it’s a proper moka — strong, honest, and grounding. One of the best I’ve had in a while. If you like coffee with character, this one delivers. ☕️🔥

Our favourite coffee shop in Merida! We came here every morning during the week we spent in this city, even though we stayed on the other side of centro, near Walmart. Prices are very reasonable, the staff are so sweet, polite and kind, and they make wonderful frapes! We highly recommend it.

I buy whole coffee beans from Chiapas in full kilo bags. It is a true medium roast that is hard to find in Merida. When I lived in the US I bought a similar coffee straight from two ejidos in Chiapa. For me this is the best coffee I have found in Merida and it is close to my house. They roast it themselves and have coffee from Veracruz and Oaxaca as well which I plan to try someday.

Great coffee roaster/ café. They have the best roasted Mexican coffee selection I’ve found in Merida, and I’ve searched far and wide. They have no problem grinding my coffee for drip, espresso or Italian coffee maker. They know their trade. As a bonus, their prices by the kilo beat most other coffee shops in the downtown area.

October 2022. Tiny corner shop. Best variety of whole beans and lowest prices in Centro for good coffee by the kilo. Been buying it here every 2 weeks since late 2018. They have an excellent selection of accessories like coffee grinders, filters, Turkish coffee makers and coffee presses. It isn’t a proper breakfast stop. If you see menus in the photos it’s because they opened a sit down sandwich shop next door right before the pandemic, which unfortunately failed during quarantine.

Good coffee! This coffee place roasts their own coffee. I had a double espresso Oaxaca and I bought 250 grams coffee beans 60MXP/2,84 EUR.

Pedi un cappuccino latte ($28) y estaba tibio, el café no tenía un sabor fuerte. El lugar es pequeño pero es cómodo, el café es barato, también lo venden por kilo. No llegó a mis expextativas

La chica que atiende tiene una actitud pésima. Lastima porque el café es exquisito.

Compré un frappe, pensé que por cómo se veía el negocio le darían prioridad a la base de café, pero en realidad es solo azucarado. Se ve algo descuidado y sucio el lugar, para algunos eso le da cierto romanticismo. Los precios son accesibles.

I needed a place to get some quality coffee beans and discovered this coffee shop via Google Maps search. It is in an area I frequent, so chose it. Beautiful color to the outside of the building; a light green. Interior is tastefully decorated. Decent selection of whole beans, and grinding is available upon request. Staff appeared bored, yet were responsive. Quick transaction and the dark roast I bought is very tasty!

The place is tiny and quaint. It is loaded with charm and an ambiance of warm colors and old style, classic architecture. Fun to just share at. Location is in heart of Centro so a bit noisy with traffic congestion and hornhonking. But that adds flavor to the experience. You feel you are in downtown New York, Mexico style! The flavor of the beans is quite good and they offer a variety of fresh roasted. The only negative about this place is an inexperienced but nice staff... and a poor attempt at a latte. Lukewarm temp and too much water in the ratio. I could actually taste the water more than the coffee in the second half of the cup.

We love coffee and have been drinking coffee around the world. Mexico is still learning about crafting coffee and we rated this place's cappuccino as a 2.5*, bumped up to 3 for the strong wifi. The price is decent for the regular size cappuccino at 30mxp, too much milk flavour to espresso, can't taste the actual roast. They have quite a few roasts from various parts of Mexico for you to view and smell. One can also buy coffee equipment here. The vibe of a good old cafe - small, simple, good staff, just coffee.

I was very happy to find a place that has roasted coffee beans. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have any idea about the grinding of the beans. I told them I needed the beans ground for filter, the first time the beans were too fine, the second they were too coarse. How is it possible that a coffee shop doesn’t know the correct grind? Ridiculous.
