We love Jefe de jefes , they have a great variety of different proteins, from pastor (marinated pork)to suadero ( brisket) arrachera ( beef skirt) even some low carb dishes like costras ( grill cheese filled with meat ) if you are in town you definitely need to try them . Service is great but you kinda have to remind them about your orders , that’s why I gave it a 4 stars . Other than that the food is delicious. My favorites things on the menu are bake potatoes topped with with meat(pastor) and cheese/ Cuban tortas/ suadero/arrachera.

We drive by this place all the time and it always looks crowded. Finally, we say, let's go. The food was good and it had an energy filled environment. A slight mess up on tacos and one meal coming out 5-minutes after, but that was my meal and I enjoyed every bite of it! Stop by... they are truly the boss of tacos or bosses or both if you are into it!

Wow.... Quality of food ...excellent Portions....excellent Service... Quick Atmosphere... Covered outdoor We ate at 830pm so the sun was down. We ate comfortably. I recommend this for anyone visiting Merida. Waiter told me the hours are from 4pm till around 1am .

Omg their pastor is so delicious!! Great prices too. We bought the pastor tacos to go and fed 15 people for $30! And we had leftovers!

Eat with the locals. A very popular place. Great prices and portions. Can get busy with line ups. We arrived about 830 pm. No line up five min later 10 people were waiting.

It is not the best Taco place but taste good and have reasonable prices. If you buy an Alambre, the complete order is really big, is enough for 2 persons. This time I ordered a Pastor Torta and it was good, just the Bread was not soft, as it should, I was chewing and chewing. I hope they can check that with the bread supplier, seems that the bread was not fresh. On the other hand, we also ordered an Alambre and it was very well served and excellent flavor! I do recommend this place you have to try it.

Great spot for some delicious tacos, the pastor on trampos was gigantic and looks delicious. We had Bistec, Arrasado and of course Pastor tacos along with a side order of guacamole. The only down side there wasn’t any fans out and it was hot. lol. Overall I recommended.

This place is huuuuge, and I have to say, I expected a lot from the service and the food but both were not great. They started cleaning the tables and we were barely getting up so they could’ve gotten spilled water on us. But ok, the price to pay for a quick table, since that’s the main benefit of this place, you dont have to wait long for a table. Onto the food, this was not the best pastor taco in Merida. Overall, not bad but I wouldn’t go back I’m afraid.

Awfully slow, waiters confused and inattentive (they brought us the change from someone else's bill before even bringing us our order). Food is usually pretty good. Service mediocre to bad.

Food was good, service was terrible. They make you wait so long before even taking your order. Once you finally get your food, you can forget about asking for anything else. We wanted to order more food and waited 25 minutes before we decided to leave. Asked for the tab and she told us to just go up to the cash register to pay without a tab. Once we got to the register, we were told we needed the tab. So had to wait even longer. Horrible service

decent food, service here sucks. waiters have are making us count our own bills and forgetting orders and then blaming customer, bad service is getting annoying after a number of times already. Specifically asked them multiple times not to include a certain ingredient in a to go order and they did it anyways. food is good tho and kinda low price. Probably not coming back tho there’s definitely better places in Merida
