This place is incredible. Some of the best food in all of Mérida, all of Yucatan, and all of Mexico I’ve had. Food is fresh, authentic, affordable, and served with a smile and in an authentic environment surrounded by locals. No idea what the poor reviewers are on about or expecting from an open market food stall in Mexico, essentially one step removed from street food. But yeah - of course be smart about your own hygiene practices in any place like this and obviously don’t go there expecting like 5 star restaurant service in perfect English and to be able to pay with a credit card without hassle (who expects this of an open food market in Mexico, really???) If you want the real deal experience at the right price and don’t have your pantie in a knot, this is the spot

Awesome food. Second-best chicken soup in the world (best = grandma's). The waiters tried their best to communicate with us and they were very friendly. Best salsa habanero we had in Merida, better than some of the more expensive places we had in here. 11/10 would come here again

Diego the waiter was incredible. I had a limon chicken soup with some chips, absolutely delicious, Merida local specialty soup. Two chicken tacos, OMG, good. Wife had a vegan burrito. Absolutely loved the food, good environment.

Diego the waiter gave us menus and after reading we sat down. The lime soup famous in Merida Yucatán region was absolutely delicious. Absolute must try. So I tried to chicken tacos. I didn’t think I would find better tacos than I did in PV. Well, I did. Amazing. It was in a little park in Centro Merida. The employees were all in a good mood. Connected was a little dessert shop, my wife ordered a mesqueritas, which is like a crepe with Nutella and caramel. She said it was delicious. She didn’t share. I would eat here everyday, but she requires new restaurants every time.

A regular of ours for lunch, not too fancy, not far from home and not expensive, at all. Fairly extensive menu considering the type of venue, you can sit on the veranda or out in the park on plastic chairs and tables. Service is good and the food tasty and great value.
