Recensioni di Chicken Guy! Miami
I just had the chicken strips and a side of cole slaw. I also had the buffalo sauce and the chipotle ranch sauce I believe it was called. I think Guy should remove the slogan boss of the sauce for New York and New Yorkers. I think we New Yorkers will agree that you have some competition when it comes to the sauce. Chicken was good though. Cole slaw a little too wet. I like mine a little on the dry side. Overall I was satisfied. I had my chicken to go and the box was wet when I got back to work most likely due to the sweat from the chicken.
I found my favorite chicken place! The hot tenders and fries have a flavorful and spicy seasoning that leaves me wanting more. The tenders were huge for the price and for it being a tourist area. The employees there were so attentive and kind hearted. They deserve a raise for their hospitality! I also loved the vibe of the place. They played ~American classics~ and had one of Guy's shows on a big screen. Last, but not least, they had high quality toilet paper.
It was Amazing!! Anthony prepared it in front of me! As a first experience it was def worth every bite. Can’t wait to come again! And thank you for such a magnificent meal💯
Five stars for Chicken Guy! I had a fantastic experience, and it was largely thanks to Ari. The chicken was, of course, crispy and delicious (a bit dry unless u add sauce, special sauce). But what really made my visit special was Ari's amazing service. She was so friendly and helpful, patiently answering my questions about the different sauces and even offering a recommendation. She made sure I had everything I needed and genuinely seemed to care about making my meal enjoyable. Thanks to Ari and the whole Chicken Guy team for a great dinner! I'll definitely be back.
Been to a chicken guy in Florida before, I was so excited for this place to come out! Expectations were very high and met. The fries and milkshakes are the best. The sandwiches were great, only recommendation would be to warm it up a little more! But still eatable and enjoyable. Left this place feeling so full and satisfied!
I’m not a big fan of fast food, but yesterday I needed a quick bite, and I’m glad I chose this place. First of all, the restaurant itself is very clean and stylish — which is rare for fast food. It smelled nice inside, and they brought the food to my table, so I didn’t have to wait at the counter. The portion was huge, so I only ate about half of it and still felt full. The fries were well-seasoned and tasty, and the burger was hot, fresh, and crispy. And all of that for just $13 — wow! I’d happily stop by again if I’m in the area. Thanks!

Not gonna lie - I went here back in February when they first opened, and it was almost inedible. Instead of blasting them with a bad review, I decided to write a constructive email criticizing what I felt was wrong. The manager promised to comp my next purchase, and he followed through on that. I went in today, and it was like night and day. The food was much improved, for one of the better fast food chicken experiences you can find. The best part is the wide variety of sauces that offers something for everyone. I enjoyed the donkey sauce and sweet & sour. I like Guy Fieri, so wanted this place to be good. I'm glad they listened to the criticism and fixed the problems, because the food I had today was enjoyable.
I recently had the pleasure of eating at Chicken Guy, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant colors of the restaurant instantly caught my eye and set a fun atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. Now, let’s talk about the food! The chicken was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also loved the variety of sauces available, which complemented the dishes perfectly. Every bite was a delight! Overall, Chicken Guy is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a great meal in a lively environment. With amazing staff and mouthwatering food, it’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon!
A great experience at chicken guy for Black Friday, clean space and chicken was amazing. The cashier Was amazing attentive and asking us how we were doing.
Not sure how anyone could give this place a bad review. Yes, so ok the food took a little while, however what came out was piping hot, delicious and juicy. Made to order. One of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. All 5 of us loved it. My son had chicken tenders they were great too. This place it 5 out of 5!
Watched all of his TV shows. Was definitely a bucket list activity to eat at one of his places. I got two full meals, both with loaded chicken fries upgrade. Just over $40 for everything is such a steal in NYC. Best chicken sandwich I ever had in my life too. I will be back for every yankee game I go to. Staff even threw in 3 of his sauces we didn’t order for us to try. 5/5 for the chicken guy!
Stop in every time we come up from Philly. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. The sauces are great….. my favorite is the Honey Mustard!
Anthony and George enhanced my experience They made the food in front of us with precision and experience making it more than a sandwich. they turn first timers into regulars!!!!
Yesterday I visited this location and the staff was very welcoming service was fast and the food was delicious. Shout out to the cashier from last night for recommendations the bbq sauce was on point. Great quality chicken, the Mac n cheese was very cheesy. Never had anything like it. I will be back to visit with family and friends. Dani and the cashier was very intellectual about the menu ,about the app an and the rewards you can earn. The speed of service was great 3 mins for a sandwich is impressive. Everybody visit chicken guy in Times Square it will be worth it.
We had an original dinner date plan and we changed our course for Chicken Guy! We have been to Chicken Guy in Disney Springs in Orlando and we LOVE their food. This new location right on Times Square surpassed any and all expectations. Dani greeted us at the counter and she had recommendations for the Oreo shake, and we got our usual tenders that we also get in Orlando. The staff was super lively and very attentive, our order was served quick and the music fit the lively mood of the staff. Excellent environment! Oh and neat/tidy bathroom with passcode👍
Ok , so the place is clean and the staff is super friendly. Dani really stood out to me because of her welcoming personality. She is so sweet and patient in helping you decide what sauce or combo you may want . The chicken is super tasty. I got fried pickles , first i really did not like them because they were too oily . I packed them to go to see if a family member wanted them . When i tried it again it taste so good ! i think it came straight out the oil that’s why it gave that oily taste. It’s fried so of course it’s oily , but when you let it cool down they taste so much better . All of the sauces is good. Except for the signature sauce I was not too fond of that one. 1 combo will run you about $18-$20
Excellent service, delicious food, and a fantastic staff! Freddy was especially wonderful and incredibly generous. Even my 13-year-old son noticed how dedicated and involved he is as a manager, and said he already wants to come back. What a great start to our NYC trip!
I was just looking for a place to eat with my friends.I walked in quick and easy to get my food. Met a lovely worker named Danny who ensured our food was ready and hot. I ended up dinning in because the decor was very nice. Highly recommend 10000000% satisfied.
I had went Wednesday February 5th. Phenomenal hospitality by the workers especially during the second week of chicken guy being open! Huge special shout out to your worker nick. It was a pleasure having him at the restaurant he was attentive, quick and took care of me and my friend at our table.
I had this for lunch today and the food was great but the service takes the cake, I ordered for pickup on Uber and it said it would be ready in 30 to 40 mins that would align perfectly with my break but it was done too early. The manager and staff remade my order for me when I got there to ensure quality. Definitely a good spot to have lunch and the decor is so cute
I popped into Chicken Guy in NYC the other day. Their chicken takes me back to how it used to taste before all the chemicals ruined our food. The staff suggested the number 3 combo and it did not disappoint, juicy flavorful chicken with that fresh vibe plus crispy fries. The place has that fun Guy Fieri energy with quick service, perfect for a quick bite. If youre over processed junk, hit this up. I’ll be back.
The food was immaculate. They had a special for the buffalo mac n cheese chicken sandwich and it was a really good deal. The general manager Freddy is so kind and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was top tier. Definitely recommend for a quick, affordable bite if you’re in the city!
The service was fast and they were very nice. The oreo shake was a 5 stars. There was a sweet girl named Greisy who was helpful and kind.
Comfortable seating and wasn't cramped. Seriously, the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Stopped to thank the staff and Anthony was so polite in his response. I will absolutely come here again and I'm kind of picky!
Atmosphere is great and food taste good in my book. Freddy and the staff are always great and kind ! loaded fries cost $9 which is good considering its times square.
Kudos to Dani and all the guys who work there who do such an amazing job from customer service skills to delicious food. Dani and the guys always treat us like family which makes my boyfriend and me come back again and again. The place is clean and the prices are really good.
Chicken Guy is absolutely phenomenal. Never been to another Chicken Guy before but the one on 42nd Street was unlike any other restaurant I’ve been to before. The staff are friendly, informative and go out of their way to make the experience worth every single penny!! A staff member named George (G for short) even brought the food to our table!! I will be making more trips to Chicken Guy and hope this store and its staff are here to stay!! Thank you for the experience and amazing food!!
Had Chicken Guy! for the first time. All in all good over all experience the food was great didn’t taste like other fast food places almost like a restaurant taste from the chicken tenders we had. I recommend the Banana Pudding Shack for the sweet treat, it was excellent and exactly what I expected from a banana pudding and “made with love”. Servers were wonderful and friendly as well. Almost forgot about the Mac & Cheese, it doesn’t taste like standard Mac & Cheese they used a different cheese not (cheddar base). The sauces were a pleasant surprise as well and home-made! Definitely recommend going!!!
Chicken Guy in Times Square is a must-visit! The chicken tenders are exceptionally delicious, and the salads are fresh and flavorful. I was especially impressed with Tahjay at the register—courteous, attentive, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys quality chicken dishes.
The chicken came out hot! I had the hot or spicy tenders. It was good the crispy was different and my mouth is salivating thinking about the meal.
We were looking for a pizza place and stumbled up on Chicken Guy. Can I tell you I wasn't disappointed at all. The chicken tenders were so juicy and delicious. The LTO with the pickle and coleslaw was so succulent. The girls love their lunch. I got the Guy's Chopped Salad, and it was so good. It was really large and almost didn't finish it. The dressinh was a little tangy for my liking, but I just added a little sweet n sour sauce, and it was soooo good. The staff were very helpful and polite. The place is very clean, and the ambiance was very soothing. They had some awesome music playing... I definitely recommend this place.
First thing. The food is great!!! But the service… That’s where they shine the most. Tee and Jay really made me feel welcome and made sure I received excellent service. I had the chicken tenders with avocado sauce and buffalo sauce, you get the choice of 2 sauces with the tenders. Wow, it was very tasty and the buffalo sauce wasn’t too spicy. I highly recommend The Chicken Guy ( but my food was made by 2 ladies (lol))
My Concern About Recent Order at NYC Location Dear Guy's Chicken Team, I want to share my experience regarding my recent order from your NYC location. Previously, I enjoyed your chicken at the NJ location—it was delicious and not overcooked, and my family liked the taste very much. This time, I decided to order online for pickup at the NYC location. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was overcooked, dark in color, and seemed to be from the previous day. It did not meet the quality standards I have come to expect from Guy’s Chicken. I kindly ask that you check on this NYC location to ensure that the chicken is being cooked properly and served fresh, not leftover from the day before. I’ve attached a photo of the chicken I received for your reference. Given the quality issue, I would like to request a refund for my order. I was really looking forward to enjoying your chicken again after my positive experience at the NJ store.
Just ate at Guy Fieri's new spot on 42nd St. Had the #1 last time I was here and was I pleasantly surprised with flavor of the chicken. I decided to try it again today but they told they had the #3 on special, so I decided to try it. It was even better than the first time! Delicious sandwich, well balanced fountain drinks... pleasant music that's not too loud. Definitely, a new favorite spot!
This place does not disappoint!!! Ordered everything off menu and loved every bite. I wanted to try the egg rolls but they were sold out and I was upset lol while dinning the manager came up to us with a freshly made order of the egg rolls because he saw how upset I got when they didn’t have any and he made my whole day. Shout out to the staff here they are amazing and made sure our time was amazing. I definitely will be coming back, my new favorite spot.
Tried Chicken Guy for the first time and honestly? So good. I got the five chicken tenders with mac and cheese, and it definitely hit the spot. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauces (I’ll be dreaming about those sauces 😋). The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting — classic done right. Overall, solid first impression. I’d go back again just for the tenders alone!
I’ve been to this place quite numerous times and it never dissappoints. The bourbon combo (with light bourbon bbq sauce, no slaw, no special sauce) is real good when I add ketchup to the fries and dip the fries/sandwich with the Nashville Hot Honey! My favorite all time combo downed with a coke. (Please don’t ever remove the Nashville hot honey) Service is general slow which is no issue but I am guessing it is what makes it super fresh (and orders to go) so no complaints there. Will be coming back here as I always do when I am by the neighborhood.
I have only gotten pickup from this place multiple times, have not dined inside. But my wife and kids love the chicken here. My 3 year old loves the chicken sandwich with the mac and cheese on it. And all the sauces are amazing with the chicken tenders.
We stopped in late one evening and my wife was craving a milkshake. Unfortunately they were missing the lids/cups and were unavailable. However, Dani was working close by and heard my wife’s disappointment and went out of her way to make her a milkshake!! And it was probably one of the best milkshakes we’ve had in the city!! Huge thank you to Dani for making our night and providing top tier customer service! She could have easily just said they were out and went about her way, but she went above and beyond even as the store was getting ready to close! Great people make great restaurants! We will be back thanks to Dani

During our journey we decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. On our way to another restaurant we noticed Chicken Guy and figured to give the spot a try. Especially after seeing so many of Guy Fieri’s shows. Gotta say we were impressed with the food especially in a tourist trap like Times Square. Skeptical at what we wee gonna get, but the food was really delicious. And the price was on point. We got the $9.99 special. A chicken burger, fries and a drink. Definitely a good place to eat when in the area. Hopefully it will as good as next time.
This restaurant's decor was pretty cool, all those bright walls and stuff. Service was quick once we used the kiosk to order. We got the grilled chicken sandwich, but it was kinda dry and bland—maybe the fried one would've been better.
The food is great, only annoying thing was the kiosk weren’t working correctly, had switch machines twice. Great service and the general manager is kind, polite and professional. I hope they continue the great service and food quality. We order the bits boss( egg-rolls and fried dumplings). Dumpling was great. Wasn't a fan of the egg-rolls but they were flavorful. Sauces were requested on the side, no problem. We also go the tenders and fries plus drink. Way better than canes to me. Seasoned nice with juicy meat. It is pricey but I think its work it.
Seeing as this restaurant opened up recently, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, with some guidance from one of the employees, Juliana, I ended up choosing a vanilla shake, fried pickles, and number 5 combo, which consists of fries, soda, and 3 tenders (your choice of style). I have to thank Juliana because her recommendations did not disappoint. The vanilla shake was creamy and delicious. The fries were perfect and really hit the spot. The fries have their signature seasoning, which wasn't overpowering on the fries. Both the shake and the fries were 5/5. Then there were the fried pickles. These, however, did disappoint. Although they were fried to perfection, they were not seasoned at all. Any seasoning would have helped the pickles. The fried pickles were a 2/5. Last is the chicken. I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed it. I chose fried tenders, and they were fried and seasoned well. The outside was crispy, and the inside was juicy and not overcooked. I loved the chicken. The only thing that would have given this review 5 stars is if the outside of the chicken didn't taste more of salt than any other seasoning. It could have just been that one batch, but it was just too salty for me personally. The proportions were large, and the price was relatively inexpensive. I will be returning to try the rest of their menu. And I hear great things about their spicy fried chicken tenders! Overall, I definitely recommend trying this place out. They are relatively since they opened about a month ago. I guarantee this place will only get better!

Chicken Guy is a chain of fast food/quick service fried chicken restaurants operated by the famous Guy Fieri of Food Network fame, with multiple locations across the country. The staff were friendly and accommodating to a large order, and got our food out quite quickly. The food was good, pretty standard for a fried chicken place. The tenders were quite good and large for the portion/price, and came with the variety of dipping sauces available, which enhanced the chicken. The chicken itself on its own was a bit dry, but was alright with the sauces. The fries are good as well, and tasted well.

I was interested to check this spot out, as it just opened, and I do enjoy fried chicken. While I was slightly disappointed in the chicken itself, which I get is the most important thing, the service was very good, friendly employees, nice environment and aesthetics + the fries were TASTY! This is why I will come back here. I may not get the chicken tenders again, (not bad but not great either) but their fries are excellent. I love them. Their sauces were also a highlight, especially the BBQ and the Hot Honey. Good for dipping. I got my meal fast and the prices for this area were shockingly not too bad. It is right on the outskirts of Times Square so I expected worse but $14 for a 3 piece tender meal with LARGE tenders isn't the worst. I would kinda recommend it if you love good fast food fries, but if you want better chicken tenders, Raising Canes nearby definitely has your back.
Amazing food at Chicken Guy on Times Square! The fried chicken dumplings were crispy and tasty, the mac and cheese was super creamy, and the bourbon brown sugar BBQ grilled chicken sandwich was full of flavor. Big thanks to Freddy, the GM, for the great service — he really made the experience even better!
I love Guy, so I had to check this place out as soon as I heard about it. What a large and fun space…they have good music but just a bit too loud, you could barely hear yourself think. We ordered the chicken dumplings and it was fried too much almost burnt, and the chicken was just very bland. The chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado was great. Best thing we ate. Unfortunately the fries were terrible, it was stale and rock hard, either refried a few times or just last batch of the day…we came on Wed @8pm. My salad was just okay, chicken was good but nothing spectacular with the salad, and dressing was too simple…was expecting more. Overall chicken was great but unless they fix the dumplings and salad I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Also, we got fountain sodas, but they didn’t have cups and gave us plastic shake cups which was absurd.
My husband had the Mac and cheese chicken sandwich it was good just needs more cheese !! I had the limited edition maple bbq bacon chicken sandwich with fried pickles inside that was pretty good it should be a patty though not tenders .. overall 4 stars hope it last in nyc
This place is absolutely delicious. My coworker and I are here at least 2-3 times a month…so much for the diet! The chicken is goooooood perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The fried pickles and seasoned fries are also bomb. You can order on the kiosk, and there’s plenty of seating in the back to dine comfortably. The place is always clean, and the staff is friendly. Special shoutout to Freddie, he’s super nice and sweet. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

The bourbon chicken tender sandwich gets 5 stars. Very good sandwich. Not sure why this place is empty. The layout could be why. Entrance seems discouraging. No welcoming signage. There is a merch counter and screens to place your order. No welcoming staff. Neutral space. No sense of warmth or excitement about the food. It is hard to see the inside of the place from outside. Makes you wonder if it is open. No hours posted on the door. Prices for the area are very reasonable. Someone needs to dress up the bare brick walls. Where's the appeal to kids and families and Guy Fieri fans?
Chicken Guy As someone who typically avoids chain restaurants, I decided to give Guy Fieri's new venture a chance. Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a tasteful decor. Manager Freddy Ortiz welcomed me and provided a thorough explanation of the menu, making it easy to place my order. I chose the straightforward option of chicken fingers with fries. What impressed me was Mr. Ortiz's hands-on approach, as he assisted the staff in preparing my meal. I took a seat and waited for my order, which arrived in a timely manner, delivered by Mr. Ortiz himself. The chicken tenders were cooked to perfection, and the fries were equally impressive. The accompanying homemade sauces added a delightful touch. Throughout my meal, I had the opportunity to engage in conversation with Mr. Ortiz, who willingly shared information about the restaurant. Overall, my experience at Chicken Guy was a resounding success, and I look forward to returning, with the hope that Mr. Ortiz will once again provide exceptional service.
First off the employees here are super friendly, very accommodating and very motivated. As for the food the seasoning on the chicken and fries was very good, the spicy is the star here but the texture of the chicken is what I didn’t like. My wife on the other hand liked it more than me, we debated the issue on the train ride home. Btw sauces were good nothing special
Solid chicken sandwhich, large portion or fries. Good price for the amount of food you get. The chicken is really tasty I got the OG but prefer the taste of their bbq sauce. Nothing wrong with the sandwhich chicken was crispy and the bread was soft. Def recommend if looking for a quick lunch.

Chicken Guy is right in the heart of New York City, just a short walk from Broadway, so getting here is super easy. The storefront looks great, the vibe inside is modern and fun, and ordering is done through kiosks, which makes the whole process smooth and quick. That being said, this place isn’t really about classic fried chicken the way I expected. The focus seems to be more on chicken sandwiches and burgers. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Tenders, but honestly, they weren’t my style—the chicken wasn’t as juicy as I’d hoped, and the seasoning didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, it’s a nicely decorated spot with good atmosphere and convenient service. If you’re coming for crispy fried chicken, it might not blow you away. But if you’re into chicken sandwiches or burgers, this might be more up your alley.
Stopped I. For an early supper before the hockey game at around 5 pm. Ordered a 3 piece strip meal to share, a side Mac and Cheese, the pickle chips, and an Oreo milk shake. Service was good and quick. When we received our food the fries had obviously been sitting and were not super fresh. The pickle chips were over fried and burnt but according to the cook that’s how they always come out. They did refry us some for a shorter time and then they were the right shade of fried. The chicken was nothing spectacular, the sauces are very tasty. The milk shake was really good. The sauces and the milk shake would be the only reason I would return, I would avoid the pickle chips if they always come out burnt. Mac and cheese didn’t need the slice of cheese melted on top it would have been fine without it.
Located on 42nd St between Times Sq and Bryant Park so very accessible via public transportation. Order at Kiosks by the entrance or in-person at the counter (but 0-1 employee there that time so kiosk was better). There is an app but didn't work for me- after making our choices, it said error during checkout. Anyway, app menu and prices were different from the kiosk menu even when we picked the same location NYC. Not sure why so gave up on the app. As far as the food, I found it not to be anything special in terms of seasoning; needed the sauces that came with (avocado sauce for me). Large pieces of chicken though. Self-serve for fountain drinks. Lots of seating in the middle to rear of the place. Restroom code on the receipt is not the correct one so had to ask an employee anyway.
Placed with so many subway entrances around here, it's a good prospective location. Finding it was easy with a big sign. Ordering was simple with the menu. The food, ordered a tender kids meal, chicken chopped cheese egg roll, and Mac and cheese chicken tender sandwich. Kids meal: it was alright. The tenders looked and tasted very cooked though, so it was a bit dry. The sauce that came with helped the dryness.... French fries were VERY salty, I'm so glad for the many drinks I had with it to keep down the salt taste. Mac and cheese tender sandwich: Mac and cheese was good, tenders was alright. Needed a big bite to eat your way through the sandwich. Cheese chicken eggroll: it came in 2 for 1 order. It's good, but I wouldn't order it often. The cheese inside was gooey and did help with some taste besides a seasoned breading crust. The choice of sauce helped a lot to eat it, it wasn't dry at least. But every bite with the outer crust made me very thirsty since the seasoning stuck to your lips. Good place to try once, but won't travel out of my way for it. There is seating in front and back. Everything was packed with a heavy hand of salt.
I had bourbrn brown sugar bbq burger which was nice. Dumplings looked better than they tasted, dried pickles were interesting, must be tried and chips were a bit of a let down as well. One girl behind the counter was quite rude but the guy who brought our food was amazing. I love my food and I love watching Guy on TV but to tell the truth the food was a disappointing experience
I don't know why they let you order things they're out of, let you pay, and then say "oh sorry we're out of that" and try serving you something you didn't want . They can't change the computer to reflect 86ed items? Sorry, I'm editing this.. dried out chicken, more breading than meat.. idk,but I'm not going again. Seems like a cash grab tourist trap type of place.
My friends and I stopped by and ordered fried pickles, egg rolls, and 3 piece chicken tenders. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice. The fried pickles weren’t really seasoned and we didn’t care for the batter but the portion was big and the chicken tenders were barely warm. The egg rolls were the star of the show! They were very flavorful, and I’m a fan of the sauce! The prices were good. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I could do without coming again!
This place just opened across from my office and coworkers and I decided to check it out, and it ended up being so disappointing. We ordered ahead of time on their site for pick up but there are kiosk and a counter to order in person. This place is definitely a take out spot given I don’t recall seeing anywhere to sit and eat your food. I got the O.G. Combo (replaced fries/soft drink with fried pickle chips/milkshake which both were an additional cost) and added the American Slaw. The tenders in the sandwich were so dry and there wasn’t enough special sauce. Something was off with the batter/the oil used for the fried pickle chips since it was not good alone, and only tasted somewhat okay with the buttermilk ranch sauce. The American Slaw was bland which was unfortunate. The only items that were enjoyable were the fries and milkshake. Since it’s relatively new, the staffs are still ironing things out (e.g., they said no sauce came with my fried pickle chips (good thing I checked) but I had to point out to them that buttermilk ranch comes with it as stated on the menu). I almost had to pay extra for it if I didn’t check the menu. Also, they only give you one ketchup packet which I think is absurd if you have a whole box of fries to eat. Sad it couldn’t live up to the hype.
Ok first time here. Ordered the chili ranch chicken sandwich and 3 spicy tenders. Tenders - they gave me once that were pre-made and not made to order. Tenders still tasted good. Better than Cane's but was hoping for fresh ones. Now the chicken sandwich picture is misleading. It looked like two big chicken patties but in reality, it's just two tenders on top of each other. What I got vs the advertised looks different. I attached the chicken sandwich picture and what I actually got. The chicken sandwich was ok. Now this is a pricy place. It's tough trying to compare this place to the other fast food chicken spots in the chicken game. I give it an average rating.
Was just walking by and noticed this place, we watch Guy all the time and decided to stop in and try it. On paper, everything looks and sounds good. In reality, not so much. I wouldn’t say it was bad but super mediocre. We have way better chicken places in the city. The best thing about this place is the space, it’s a big restaurant with decent amount of seating. We ordered the Calabrian hot honey combo and the buffalo mac n cheese sandwich. Honestly I could make both better at home and I’m no chef. The chicken wasn’t moist and the sauce was a let down. All I tasted was hot sauce. The Mac and cheese tastes very basic. Also they were cheap with the fries. Go down the block to Five Guys and they’ll show you how to add fries to an order. We also got two shakes, also very mediocre. The ice cream tastes like the cheap buckets you buy at the supermarket for birthday parties. When you open a place like this near Times Square, it needs to be a place that stands out and makes people want to come back for the food. I have no reason to come back. Nothing impressive. Nothing exciting.
Ordered the grilled chicken, what I got was a tender and moist chicken on a stick ... but it wasn't grilled. Fries have a seasoning that makes it sweet and what I think is mesquite flavor, Franky I'm kinda overwhelmed with the seasoning. Feeling like a bag of cheap chips ... First time I didn't finish my fries. I'm just not the customer that they are targeting for, as I find this place pretty much blah ... Below McDonald's food quality. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. But I'm not going back.

Disappointing Experience at Chicken Guy I recently ate at Chicken Guy in New York and had the mac & cheese with a buffalo burger meal. The fries were amazing, though the portion was a bit small. The buffalo burger was just okay—not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, shortly after getting home, I experienced severe stomach issues, including diarrhea. This was the only meal I had that day, so it was clearly the cause. I was really disappointed, as I had higher expectations. Definitely reconsidering a return visit.
I’ve come to Chicken Guy seven times — not for the vibes, but strictly for the food. That’s how good the food used to be. But honestly, the staff here consistently ruin the experience. It’s like they don’t even want to be here — sloppy, slow, rude, and moving like they’re being forced to serve. Zero energy, zero pride, and absolutely no sense of urgency or hospitality. This is the only Chicken Guy in NYC — you’d think they’d take that seriously. Instead, it’s a letdown every time. Today was the last straw: my mac & cheese bowl was half-filled like I didn’t pay full price. That’s not just lazy, it’s disrespectful. Prices are high, and if I’m paying premium, I expect portions and service to match. Simple. Chicken Guy needs to seriously rethink who they’re hiring. The food deserves better representation. This location could be a hit, but right now? The people running it are killing the brand.
Chicken was good but staff were slow and not helpful. A fist fight also broke out next to us and cleared out the entire restaurant. Place needs security or something.
I usually try to post positive reviews but today I stopped by here on my way home for lunch and was really shocked at how awful the food was. I must say the service was good. Cashier was so friendly and informative. But I will usually power through food that may not be the best as long as tolerable especially if I'm hungry. I ordered the chicken egg rolls first and after a bite of the runny rolls and what seemed cold undercooked chicken, was like, nope. Fortunately I ordered the chicken tenders right? One bite into whatever weird seasoning they used I thought maybe the ranch would mask the strange taste. There was so much dill in the sauce you didn't know it was ranch. Being from the south / Texas, I had high hopes given the good food presentation and celebrity chef on the tv inside. But wow I threw away a $25 meal for one after three bites. Just couldn't stomach the odd tastes. Went home and made Tex Mex. 😕
The food is inconsistent. Chicken fingers have a different shape, flavor, and texture every time I visited. Sometimes ok sometimes terrible. Walking inside is like entering a cave.
DISGUSTING NEW RECIPE! When Chicken Guy first opened it was one of the best chicken restaurants in NYC however they have recently changed the Chicken “recipe” and by that I mean it is just store bought frozen chicken tenders and fires heated up. This is extremely disappointing and what was once when of the best chicken restaurants is now a scam. I feel completely ripped off as they are still using pictures on the menu from the original recipe and don’t advertise the new chicken at all. They also got rid of the fun chicken guy containers and replaced them with small cardboard holders. I hope the owner of this restaurant contacts me for a refund! I visit both New York and Orlando chicken guy very frequently but not anymore.
A Huge Disappointment from a Longtime Chicken Guy Fan. I’m a huge Chicken Guy fan and have been to multiple locations — Nashville, Orlando (my personal favorite), and New York City. My friends and family even make fun of me for always insisting on Chicken Guy during our family vacations to Orlando. During a recent work trip to New York City, I was excited to visit this location, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. I should’ve known something was off when I walked in at 5:30 PM on a Thursday and the place was nearly empty. The chicken, which is usually amazing, looked and tasted like dry, air-fried grocery store tenders. The fries were cold, unseasoned, and just as disappointing. This was nothing like the quality or flavor I’ve come to expect from Chicken Guy. Guy — please visit this location and see what’s going wrong. It’s a real shame to see the brand represented this way. As someone who even watched your entire “Guy’s Chance of a Lifetime” season and truly loves the Chicken Guy brand, this visit really missed the mark.
Stopped in here the first time before a show on Saturday. The kiosk for ordering wasn’t working. There was nobody at the register until a cook came from the back with an attitude to run the register without even removing their gloves. There was only one person making the food. The food was not good and had absolutely no flavor. Took over 15 mins to get my order. Definitely won’t be back here again
Food is bad. Loaded pasta bowl only included the crumble parts of the chicken tender, no chicken meat parts. The pasta was cold and hard. The chicken tasted burned and hard. Not great…

First of all I just wanna say that I love chicken guy I’ve been to him many times in Disney and it was great came to this place expecting the same thing but we met a cashier with no one in there then our food came 15 minutes later while it was empty this supposed to be a fast food place, we had to tell them multiple times that they were missing items like the fries and the ranch sauce and to tap it all off. We got a milkshake that had milk expire on it, and the staff was very rude for the most part. At least we received a refund for the milkshake . Smells like your aunt.
I never leave a bad review but Really disappointed! EXPIRED Milk in the milkshake is a huge health hazard…. I love chicken guy especially the Disney springs location and just beyond disappointed… we where the only ones in the place and the food took forever… when we got the food fries and drink where missing… there where a few nice staff members and a few not so helpful ones. Really wanted to love this place… and just beyond upset!
Horrible service! Definitely getting a refund after my food took too long. Fries are stale and chicken isnt even hot. The chef wasnt going to give me the sauce that i PAYED FOR.
I had this for the first time and it is the worst chicken sandwich that I've ever had. The toppings, the chicken doesn't even taste like chicken, everything is just salty, no flavors except for peeks of a sweet sauce, other than that it was just all around a bad food experience One of the worst I've had. Chicken has officially been disrespected. Truly when you walk into a chicken spot that says chicken guy! You're expecting some of the best tasting chicken you've ever had. But it's truly the worst
We have been chicken guy in Disney springs in Orlando Florida like 6 times and it’s awesome, everything there is delicious and fresh but the one in nyc sorry to tell you it’s nothing absolutely nothing compared to the one in Florida,we was very excited to try it and we was very disappointed with the one in NYC
Me and my father are big Chicken Guy fans. We go every time we go to Disney, and we were very excited that there was a location closer to us in New York. We went the first week it opened and it was great. Now we came back a few days ago and were completely disappointed. The chicken was completely different with no seasoning and same applies to the fries. The chicken even had different batter and tasted like any other chicken. It wasn’t flat like it usually was, it just was a normal curled up chicken tender. Also the drinks almost all didn’t work, no syrup at all. Hoping we will have a better experience next visit.
Wait times are absolutely ridiculous, you shouldn't be a business if you can't handle the flow. 30 bucks for two people and a McDonald's chicken sandwich is better. Get better workers and a better attitude on how to run a business cause right now it all sucks
There is no WAY guy would allow his name to be used for this place... Horrible food quality, atmosphere is that of a closing business. Kiosk didnt work, they had to go next door to another restaurant to get forks for another customer.... The chicken is obviously cooked in dirty oil. Tasted horrendous and looked worse. Incredibly disappointed.
I ordered pretty often from this place, but it has gone from great to worse. When this place just open the burgers the fries everything was perfect delicious. Todays order not only missing items but the food doesnt even look close to what its supposed to look. All the chicken tenders over fried and chewy and hard to chew. No salad dressing and not the first time to forget all the sauces that we ordered. @Guy Fiery have your general manager fired and hire new people and train them.
I have never seen a restaurant this bad, careless, and low-quality in my life. The food looks nothing like the photos. The bread is rock-hard—you could break a tooth trying to bite it—and the chicken is cold, small, and tasteless. Beyond terrible. It’s a shame for the rent this place is paying. I have no idea who would ever come here.
I love chicken guy through and through and have been to the Orlando location and the Pittsburgh one (before it closed) and think it is one of the best chicken joints around. When I was in New York, I thought I should stop at the local chicken guy. When we got our food, the staff told us that they didn’t have the sauces and just gave us like 5 special sauce and 5 buttermilk ranch which were good but not at all what we ordered. Then we realized, our chicken and fries weren’t actually seasoned and tasted very bland. Overall it was okay but really doesn’t compare to other locations. (Also they took my sweet and sour and I will never forgive them for that)
My experience at Chicken Guy NYC was awful. As soon as I walked in and asked where the bathroom was, the employee at the front gave me a rude attitude and acted like I wasn’t a customer, even though I was clearly about to order. He kept giving attitude and dirty looks the whole time. The place was understaffed, and he wouldn’t even wipe tables unless asked. I arrived at 4:19 PM and didn’t get my food until 5:10 PM. A simple mac and cheese chicken sandwich should not take almost an hour. A lot of customers were complaining and asking for refunds. When we went up to ask about our order, he suddenly claimed he had called us — but my friend was standing right there the whole time and heard nothing. The food was cold, and my friend didn’t even get her order. He said he would make it, then clocked out and left. The staff in the back were moving slow, talking, and not taking anything seriously. Online reviews say this place is great, but that’s not what I experienced at all. I’m disappointed and won’t be returning
We went to Chicken Guy, we ordered our meals through the kiosk. There were no cups for our drinks. We went and found a seat and we waited an hour and 10 minutes and still had not received our order and there were still 8 orders ahead of ours that needed to be finished before we could have ours. At this time I went to use the restroom there's a code on the bottom of our receipt) My code did not work. Someone else used the code from their receipt which was different and it worked. However, neither of the bathrooms had any toilet paper at all so I had to run and get napkins. Finally, after that I went and got the manager and asked for a refund. He was very pleasant and apologetic as it was only him and one employee working. On a weekend in December in NYC!?!?t A The owners of this business need to reevaluate how they're running it and hire some help. When you're short staffed, you cut corners on everything including safety. It's not fair to put that kind of pressure on your employees and expect them to ruin a business well. Step it up and take care of your people and customers.
Normally I don't write reviews but today I'm making an exception. The order took forever, and a day to arrive. They got my order wrong TWICE. First they forgot the mac & cheese, give me the wrong tenders. They took back and give me the wrong tenders again. I could forgive everything it was pack inside, but it was EMPTY at 6pm on a week day. Overall it was a disappointing experience.
