Came on a weeknight and received prompt attentive friendly service. Accommodated our large party nicely. Restaurant and facilities were clean. Waiter was very knowledgable and assisted with food limitations. Menu has large selection of sushi rolls, appetizers and entrees. Sushi rolls where fresh, delicious and eloquently presented. Fried Oreos was great way to finish fantastic meal. Price was slightly above average but value of quality and service is all there.

Stopped into Sakura while in Miami on business. I'm new to sushi but this was a great place to try some new things! Good prices and the items we tried good in my newby opinion 😉. We also tried this pancake style dish (not pictured) that was so delish. Our waiter recommended, he was very polite and helpful.

I love it every time I go. The waiters are awesome they don't try to make awkward conversation and are very happy. I love the Decore and out of them all it is the little sailor figure on the men's bath room door. Don't even get me started On there food. First there there one of the few places that have realy good miso supe. They have an amazing verity of sushi and if you don't like sushi I can guarantee there will be something on the menu you will love. Also when ever I eat there sushi I get a euphoric rush ( I like shushi). Sakura is my favorite sushi joint and every time I go there it's always a great experience.

Wonderful place, amazing rolls, a lot of variety, we tried Tamiami Roll and Waffle Roll, delicious. Also, the waiter Ignacio was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

What I can say!? This is no joke. This a very honest review. The food is amazing. Base in quality: they never lose it. I like to try every week different meals and sushi rolls, and all of them are good! I visit the place and order online: the place is good, nice service, everything is clean and the environment is comfortable. Menu: very diverse which I like a lot because I get bored of flavors and this help to choose different options any time. Have options for parties and couples. Delivery: fast and on point in terms on waiting time. Prices: not enough for their quality. I love how this is giving me the opportunity to order every week because of the price and give the tip that the service needs. Te lo recomiendo en un 100%. Saturday night, after moving into our new house, we were beaten and wanted a light dinner. We ordered take out from Sakura because we enjoyed our lunch there last Saturday. 20 bucks later we had a romantic dinner at home with the freshest sushi you can find around Coral gables and West Miami. I will not hesitate to go back. I hope they remember us because we are new to the neighborhood.

If you are looking for high quality asian food this is the place. It’s not fancy, but I’ve been to all the popular sushi spots around the area - Sushi Maki, Sushi Sake etc you name it. This place is SO MUCH better. As a bonus it’s a lot more affordable as well. Just so happy to have found this hidden gem. Truly best sushi I tried in Miami so far. The service is always great too.

Everything was fresh and authentic! Crab rangoons were probably the best I've ever had! Tried something different with the Brulee roll and Las Vegas roll, amazing! Ramen tasted like someone's grandparents were in the kitchen making it with love!

Love this little, unassuming place. The outside doesnt look like much but inside is cozy and charming. Staff is friendly and works to make you happy. I love getting sushi here; though a bit costly the food is always fresh. Delivery, within their delivery range, is timely and very reaasonable.

Stopped in on a whim. Had salmon skin handroll, Age Tofu, and vegetable fried rice. All three were excellent. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. Parking lot a little small but at night there's street parking. Staff speaks english.

Their sushi rolls are always fresh and well made, we always sit at the bar and choose our rolls to have seaweed on the outside to which they accommodate. I keep coming back, it is not super packed when I go and that's good because place is small. The staff can use some better training, they are kind but ditzy, they stand around talking to each other rather than paying attention to what u need. In either case it just means u have to flag them down a little more but they are not rude to customers and the guys at the bar are amazing!!!

Now the spider roll is packed into a much smaller container, all cramped together, smaller portion, and lacking in presentation; no crispy spider legs peaking out of each end, which is the main appeal of this roll. Finally, one of my favorite items to order is the shrimp tempura. Sakura's tempura is gummy and not crispy and light. I thought maybe not to order tempura for delivery anymore (although we live only 2 blocks away from the restaurant). However, I've ordered it several times when dining in at the restaurant and it was exactly the same; gummy, not crispy and light. The kitchen needs to change their recipe for tempura and ensure the batter remains cold and is not overworked.

The place is extremely cold in the back, same as the sushi for some reason like the rice came from the fridge directly to our table. The guys cooking our meal was not wearing a mask at all and the comment that says the place has no Tv is a lie. Also their was a power reset while we were there as the only customers

The food is ok. I had the teriyaki chicken. It was super dry and had to ask for extra sauce. The sushi was ok

It took forever minutes to receive two tiny roles Unless you are dying of hunger or there is nothing else to eat then I would suggest this place. The deep fried sushi was cold and the rice was a leftover. I would not go back

They offer Japanese, Korean and Thai food, but none of the dishes we tried really stood out. We all tried the lunch menu which has good portions in terms of quantity, but the quality wasn't to our liking. There are several restaurants in Miami with the same name, so don’t confuse it with the others.

The sushi is fresh and always on point, however the other items that is not sushi such as the shrimp teriyaki is disgusting. The shrimp was rubbery, the rice was a little hard and had no flavor not even a pinch of salt. I'll just stick to ordering the sushi and get my real food elsewhere.

I ordered online with a specific time to be ready, two hours ahead. Yet it was not on time, despite them calling me twice to confirm my order and make sure it was correct and accurate. The young man who was in charge or lack of, was very rude who's that guy and cursing out loud. The food is okay, but the service not so much.

The service was friendly. The food was mediocre, was not satisfied with the sushi rolls nor the chicks pad Thai. The food didn't taste very fresh and the chicken seemed almost microwaveish. The pricing for the quality didn't match. Additionally there were annoying bugs flying around. Mosquitos attacking my leg while trying to eat and cobb Webbs surrounding the Windows, etc. Kind of scary and concerning considering sushi is on prem. For maybe a take out/delivery place this place might be ideal.

We’ve had some good sushi from here in the past but last few times the takeout has not been good. We tried some of the hot dishes tonight and they were not good. Soggy noodles and rice, sauce on the pad Thai was completely overpowering. Hate to waste food but couldn’t eat more than a bit of this. Sorry but won’t be coming back.

Went yesterday. Terrible service. I walk in first thing and asked if I could be seated outside, they said no when 20 minutes later they sat another party. Bug flew into my drink and they couldn’t even replace it for us with the same drink. They brought back the check with no credit card in into I spent 10 minutes anxiously thinking I misplaced it. The beef pad Thai was just not good, the noodles were so gooey. They charge for all sides , spicy mayo, salad dressing. And the dishes are already pricey. Tempura flakes weren’t good. Highly disappointed. All of these in isolation are no big deal but all together happening in one evening was disastrous.

Rediculously long wait time for our food, people around us kept getting up and leaving , my party and I did the same after 1.5 hours . And the had the audacity continue to lie to us that the food was ready.

Went with a group of coworkers for lunch, service to begin with was ok but once the lunch rush came in it went downhill fast. Our water wasn't refilled and the salads/miso soups took way too long. From there it only got worse, the people that got sushi got it after 45 minutes of waiting and then the unfortunate ones of us that got Bento boxes waited literally an hour and a half before deciding to leave and take them to go. The quality of the sushi was good but the bento boxes were horrible, stick with the sushi and hopefully your experience won't be so bad.

Skip it!!! Overprice for low quality.The sushi rice was horrible; hard, bad texture, no flavor. The miso soup wich is simple and hard to mess up was meh at best, barely any seaweed or tofu. Service was slow and they where not allowing outside seating when I came in but a few guests later they started seating them outside. Could not eat the rice 🤢

My wife and I recently moved to West Miami and decided to try out this place because we love sushi. So far this is one of the worst sushi place that i have tried so far. We ordered only rolls, the presentation is horrendous and its taste horrible (full of rice). I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Took someone on a date here and unfortunately it won't be happening again. As a first date dining experience, it was honestly not the best. I've had many people recommend this restaurant in the past as one of the best sushi restaurants in Miami, however after this experience I am surprised at how many stars this place has. The fried rice was bland and cold and it wasn't even sushi rice. The tamiami roll we ordered, seemed good except the plaintains on the top were very cold. The staff did not have any uniform on, which to me was kind of surprising, as in many sushi places at least the chefs are wearing uniforms. And to top it off my date had a live ant crawling out of the fried rice. I would upload the actual video of it but unfortunately google only allows me to upload photos. The waitress was very apologetic to us, which I'm grateful for, however I strongly recommend this place gets new management.

I ordered vegetable gyoza but was given pork because that’s all they serve, I do not eat pork and they refused to take the gyoza off of my bill. Had to return multiple things because bugs landed in our food. My california roll was good however the owner is not kind. Would not recommend unless you don’t have the money to spend on a cleaner place.

I’m a senior catering manager and this has to be the worst customer service ever I’ve always gone here today I came at 4:19 10 mins before they opened they sat us down and told us we can’t have water until he finishes his opening duties we walked right out lost 5 customers in less then 5 mins wouldn't even hand us the menu let me tell you I’ve becoming here for a while and I’ve never been so poorly treated was with my 39 weeks pregnant daughter HORRIBLE SERVICE .

This place has good food.... BUT if your even going to bother placing an order for deliver either don't place one at all or just call. I placed an order at 7:20, and received an order confirmation. They were supposed to call and get my credit card info and never did. An HOUR AND A HALF later I call asking and they supposedly called my phone and tried to leave a message. I never had any missed calls or any voicemails. They screwed up and no one wanted to take accountability for the fact that they messed up, they just lied about at. And I'm the one stuck starving and pissed. Horrible delivery and customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM SAKURA!! We have ordered twice and had issues twice. First time, the food arrived after an hour and 45 minutes. The second time our order was incomplete. We called and we're told the missing food would arrive within 15 minutes. It never arrived. We called to speak with a manager to request a refund for the undelivered food and were told they don't have one on duty in the evening, to call back the next day. We did and still no manager, left a message in the morning and one in the afternoon. 48 hours later and 4 calls later, still no word. Avoid if you can!

This place is awful! I ordered a "spicy tuna" salad, it was awful! The dressing was tasteless. The sushi chef seems annoyed at the world when you walk in. I ordered a Mahi fish plate with rice and vegetables and the fish was tough, the vegetables had no taste and weren't cooked through. The service needs attention very nice young lady but they need to train her. Just awful and expensive. The place sucks!!!!!!!

Not a good place to eat. I ordered one of there korean menu that have bulgogi and egg on the top with rice, and it was oily like literally you have like a soup of oil in your bowl. Then they offer to give me a new one so I said just separate the rice just in case it will be oily again. They did but turns out the meat is gone. They didn't put meat coz the manager said that I already consume the meat on the first bowl. I stand up and didn't touch the food and pay. If only me who experienced this on this restaurant well I'm not lucky then.

I'll start off by saying, now I know why this owner/chef didn't refund me on a dish that I felt had little to no flavor. I just saw how they responded to another reviewer. I would consider them to have no manners and would say that they're rude. I have been coming to this restaurant for a while, so I would consider myself a fairly loyal customer. I liked the sushi and the miso soup and for the most part, I enjoyed the food. This time around -I had the dak gui . The first time I had it, I liked it a lot. This time, it had very little flavor and I simply told the waiter that I was disappointed with it and asked if it could be taken off the bill. I ordered the yellow pepper sauce because it had so little flavor. The owner/chef refused to take it off the bill-I was actually charged $2 extra for some reason. They'll probably say the reason they wouldn't take it off the bill is because I ate a lot of it. Well, when you're hungry and you're adding sauces to make it better, sure I'll eat it. It was fresh, so I had no complaints there. Imo, a good owner tries to make their customer happy, regardless. And, this restaurant/owner /chef lost a good customer. Btw, the staff was always pleasant and the food, for the most part, quite good, though after this experience, I'm done. There are too many good sushi restaurants around to deal with an owner that apparently doesn't value their customers.

Hi, I have eaten here many times but today’s experience was just awful. I stoped for lunch and got a shrimp bento box. To begin with the California roll crab tasted like “refrigerator” and I know the audience knows that’s taste. It also gets better when the veggie fried rice was hard and I sent it back and they told me they tried to do it again and the waiter told me it was cause the person who made it didn’t put enough water. Thai is a lie as I have dined many times there and the rice was OLD. Just to make it better the steamed veggies were drenched in teriyaki and I’m still hungry as I ate 7 little shrimps and a wilted salad. Please do not eat here as the quality has severely diminished.

Sushi is good. My complain is mostly with the service. I placed an order for pickup online. Since it was Valentine's and I knew they would be busy, I tried calling ahead to make sure my order was ready before I headed over. However, I couldn't get an answer (understandable as it is a holiday night). After waiting the 65 minutes for my order to be ready, I headed over. When I got there, they told me they "forgot" my order (one of the ladies behind the counter seemed to find this funny). Then, after a very lousy sorry, another lady behind the counter told me I could wait another 25 minutes for my order if I'd like. Anyway, they could have at least pretended to care.

I’m stunned, cause when I initially ate here years ago it was good. However, the food that we ordered today was not only bland, it looks like they are serving much smaller servings for the higher price it now costs. Even the sauces were watered down. Everyone in my family was extremely disappointed with each of their dishes. We will not be returning, thank you.

Just when I thought we found a new sushi spot, we had scary experience our last visit. We’ve been here several times & also have ordered take out. We really enjoyed the sushi rolls but our recent visit (two days ago), I finished my meal, asked for the check & began to feel my cheeks get hot. As I arrived home I noticed my face red like a tomato & the redness started going down my chest, back & arms. I told my husband I wasn’t feeling well & I thought I was having a reaction to the food. Never have I ever had any food allergies, let alone sushi/fish. I began to have stomach cramps/the runs & the rash just kept getting worse. My husband called the restaurant & asked to speak to the manager & told the employee what was going on. We just wanted to give them a heads up about possibly the tuna/fish, so no one else gets sick. My husband also started to feel sick to his stomach. We were told the manager would call us but we never received a call back. I had to end up getting an IV infusion to flush what I was told was food intoxication/ food poisoning. We never expected to get a free meal out of this but at least have the courtesy to call us back & show some kind of remorse. It just shows the lack of customer service & lack of professionalism on the restaurants part. I would’ve never left this review if things were handled differently because I know unfortunate events happen. Something was obviously up with food & I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Especially with their poor etiquette .

We order for take out. It took them 50’ to give us our food. When we got home they gave us the wrong dish and when I called them someone I don’t know said that’s what I ordered. Horrible service. Horrible attitude especially with a customer that has been there multiple times.
