Absolutely loved the food here! The okra curry was incredible — you could instantly tell the okra was fresh, not frozen, which made such a difference in flavor. We took advantage of the lunch offer of $12.95 for the vegetarian option, and it was an amazing value. It would have been the perfect finishing touch if they offered mukhwas — I always love having it when exiting the restaurant. Overall, we had a fantastic meal experience and will definitely be coming back!”
Absolutely delicious Indian food! Every dish was packed with flavor and tasted authentic. The spices were well balanced not overpowering, just right. Service was quick and attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh. This is easily one of my new favorite spot
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Had the lunch special which had generous portions. There is a lot of variety to choose from. The decor and atmosphere is very nice. The service was amazing. Absolutely recommend you go and try it for yourself.
I never had Indian food it was amazing. Wow. Me and my boyfriend got the butter chicken and coconut shrimp curry and it was the best meal ever. We definitely recommend getting it spicy it makes a difference. So flavorful def recommend
My husband and I wanted to eat Indian Food and we Googled places to eat Indian food in Kendall and found this gem. Urban Rrasoi Indian Restaurant surprised us with amazing food and friendly and warm service. My husband had the Chicken Coconut Curry and I had the Chicken Marsala. Both were so delicious and authentic. The garlic naan was so yummy too. It was truly an exceptional dining experience!!!
Probably one of the best Indian places I have had, and the best one so far in Kendall! I highly recommend anyone to try it out. Their cheese naan is delicious
First time here and will come back. Food is exquisite! Service is A+. Server is very knowledgeable of the menu and her recommendations were a total hit.
I wanted to have chickpeas and this was an excellent choice. I chose mild spicy and it was tolerable even though sometimes I needed to have the lentils or bread to cool off the tongue 😂 I Enjoyed this lunch special! Good price of 12.95!!!!
Good food and attention. Great place to go when you are craving Indian cuisine.
chicken curry and garlic naan. white fish curry, malai curry. extra spicy. asked for raita & they gave it to us complimentary! very sweet of them and very generous portion sizes! we left with full bellies.
Are you sad or anxious or overwhelmed or hungry , come home here to an explosion of flavor caressing your palate, start first with chicken tandori momos appetizers. Everything else come after........
I love the food here! I suggest the chicken coconut curry, the staff was so kind. They gave us this really nice drink as well. If you’re looking for a good indian place to eat, come here!!
Delicious food! Great service from Lucy. Went with my friends. I got tandoori chicken which was DELICIOUS!!!!- the whole is a great portion! I shared some with friends and still had some for later. I’ve also tried the butter chicken here and it was yummy, as was the spinach daal. The coconut curry chicken is fantastic, as is the coconut naan. The mild is not spicy at all in my opinion for your friends who cannot handle spice! Definitely check this place out for a delicious and comforting meal :).
The food is exquisite, every dish is delicious, prepared brilliantly to get your taste bud dancing with delight. Neida was attentive, kind, and knew exactly what to suggest when asked about certain options. We enjoy coming to this restaurant. Do try the Rupee beer 🍺.
Delish Food! Beautiful decor! The umbrellas on the ceiling transport you to India!

Our favorite Indian restaurant 'down south'. The food is always delicious no matter what we order. That said, our favorites are Mango Lassi, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan. They are the basic Indian dishes every Indian restaurant makes, but Urban Rrasoi does them the best. The mango lassi is extra mango-y and more flavorful than elsewhere. The chicken is soft and tender. The rice they serve with meals is spiced just right and has a lovely crumbly texture only Indian restaurants get right. The garlic naan has enough garlic to be tasty without being offensive and the crispyness! OHH THE CRISPYNESS!! It's not a hard or burnt crispy but a buttery soft crispy. You have to try it to know it. The service is always quick, great, and attentive even when they get busy. I've rarely seen this restaurant less than half packed. It's definitely a local favorite.
We have tried many, endless Indian food restaurants. Yet, this is the best in service, taste & quality, atmosphere and energy of the environment. We experienced a piece of enlightenment with this delicious 😋 meal.
I ordered take out shrimpstandoori, very tasty, big and juicy . Serviceis very good we will be back at restaurant for lunch soon. This is my second review as of June 1 st 2024, The best nan I ever have in my life!!! I have been to so many indian restaurant and this place has the best nan and butter chicken! My favorite is Cheesed nan and Garlic nan. Butter Chicken is the tasty, we have to come back the other day to order take out. Shrimps tandoori are big and juicy . Lunch special sets prince is very reasonable and tasty as well, good service.
Our new go-to spot for Indian food. The menu is extensive, the food has large portions and the staff are attentive. Many vegetarian options too! Our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs…just means tasty leftovers for tomorrow! Wish they played Indian music in the background. While I like Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons; it’s not the ambiance I’d expect. Also, try the kashmiri naan - a perfect pairing with spicier dishes.
Food is amazing, don't miss the Mango Lassi chicken and Lamb Seekh Kebab.Services is outstanding. I Vote #1 INDIAN CUISE IN MIAMI.
From the moment we stepped through the door of the restaurant, the culinary experience began to unfold in an unforgettable way. Although the location of the restaurant is not particularly eye-catching, the journey was well worth it. Upon entering, we were greeted by a surprisingly warm and welcoming atmosphere that contrasted with the exterior. Lucy, our waitress, did an exceptional job describing each dish on the menu with such passion and detail that we felt as if we were already tasting them. Her knowledge of the food and her recommendations helped us make choices that turned out to be spot-on. The food itself was a revelation. I've had the opportunity to travel extensively and sample various Indian cuisines , but what we tasted here takes the crown as the best food I've had in the United States 🇮🇳 . Every bite was cooked to perfection, with balanced flavors and delicious textures that delighted the palate. We can't forget to mention the mango shake, which was the icing on the cake for the meal. Rich, creamy, and packed with fresh fruit flavor, this shake elevated the experience to a new level. In summary, this restaurant is not just a stop for food but a complete culinary experience that exceeded all our expectations. I would recommend it 100%, and have no hesitation in giving it a perfect score of 10 out of 10."
Prior to eating here I had never tried Indian food, I saw this place with a perfect rating (on yelp) and I just had to try it. All I have to say is that the perfect rating is well deserved. Amazing food. I had a chicken tiki masala that comes with white rise and I ordered plain regular naan. I loved this place so much I had it last night for dinner and today for lunch! Last night I had the chicken mild and today I tried it medium. (The options are mild medium and spicy) I personally have a high tolerance so the mild was on a spice scale of 0/10 (which is the standard) and the medium was a 2/10 (my boyfriend said it was a 5/10.. he has a lower tolerance) I definitely look forward to trying it spicy next time!!!!
Food was very good, had the Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Curry, and Garlic Naan. Everything homemade and ambience was nice. Staff very friendly. Very reasonable priced
Amazing experience, wonderful food, and very peaceful energy. The employees were awesome and kind and I'd recommend anyone to try this place!
Stopped by Urban Rrasoi in Kendall last week and the food really hit the spot. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, and the garlic naan was fresh out of the oven. Service was friendly and laid back. Overall, a solid spot for Indian food in the area — will be back.”
The food is amazing. I love the chicken tikka masala, so flavorful. The portion is great. The staff is always friendly and attentive. This is one of my favorite places in Kendall.
Great quality food. Awesome service. Neida is great, know the menu with details, her recommendations were very good. First time trying Indian food, and loved it. Highly recommend 🥘
The food had all the flavor you want from an Indian dish. Very tasty! The service was excellent, waitress was the best!
Totally LOVED it !! Service was fast and the taste and quality of food was awesome. Even on the Christmas night with crazy rush they delivered fast and with amazing taste. We don't have photos to post cz everything finished so fast.
Great service and absolutely delicious food!!! Chill atmosphere and I love all the decorations. Amazing dinner date spot ❤️
Absolutely delicious!!! Everything from the addictive garlic naan (we had to order another it was so yum) to the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tandoori were soooo delicious I already can’t wait to eat the leftovers. Don’t skip dessert the Gulab Jamun was absolutely fabulous and try the rice pudding too it’s light, fragrant, and yummy!!
Pretty cozy place with a good Indian environment. Most importantly the food is pretty delicious. We ordered kadhai paneer, garlic and onion naan and the taste was as expected. I would recommend this place
Great, restaurant and the food was amazing. Our waitress was amazing and patient. She explained everything to us and gave us good recommendations.
Amazing Indian food in Kendall? Nah, no such place for sure you'd think. Well let me say, you are wrong my friend! This small, unassuming restaurant in the heart of West Kendall has the "bestest" most amazing Indian food in the area and maybe even in the whole of Miami... Today was my third visit to Urban Rrasoi and with our fail, had a delicious meal. Run over there and check it for your self, you will not regret it!
As a pescatarian, my options tend to be limited. I got the goat fish curry and was not disappointed. Goat fish curry is now my new favorite fish dish. Definitely stop by next time you are in the area
The Chicken Biryani was amazing! We got our food quickly, and our server was very attentive to us throughout our meal. I will definitely be coming back!
The food was delicious!!!! We had a goat dish goat curry and the lamb biryanis. Our server was Neida, who was very friendly and courteous and gave us the food recommendations and the food came out pretty fast. We took two mango lasses to go and those are so good! Yum! We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends!
First time here, great restaurant. Chicken Briyani, and the Mango Curry Chicken were delicious. We highly recommend the Taandori Wings as well. Great restaurant, definitely coming back.
Really Love this Restaurant and even the Person in the counter is very pleasant and amazing service. Food: Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian both dishes are very good. Quality is amazing. Always had very good experience.
Very quick and responsive service, adaptive to food preferences/restrictions. We didn't reserve and they adjusted and quickly found a way to get us seated.
This Indian restaurant is a hidden gem in the Miami/Homestead area. We stopped here on our way to Miami. The food is very tastefully prepared, and not overly hot or spicy- which was ideal for my kids. The coctails are decent. The service here was quick, efficient, and very warm. We had their garlic naan, paneer makhni, chicken wings, lamb curry, and malai kofta. All of the items were delicious and well prepared. I’d have to say this- finding restaurants which serve such tenderly cooked lamb is difficult. Urban Rrsaoi nailed it- both tenderness, and spice/taste. Highly recommend!
Decent place with amazing food. We ordered Naan, Roti & Paneer Makahani. Everything was served hot that was the best part
The tables were nicely decorated; they had pictures of different Indian festivals. The roof was also decorated with multicolored umbrellas. The food was delicious, especially the pakodas.
We love this restaurant. The best Indian food in Miami. Have had many dishes love them all!
Food was amazing, prices were great, ambience was great. Ayon was super nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!

This is our second time here. The food and the service were amazing! We got the gobi manchurian, the chicken tikka masala, the butter chicken and the lamb vindaloo. We also got the plain and garlic naan. The garlic naan was our favorite. Their mild version of the food is very tolerable. I’m not a fan of spicy food and really enjoyed the mild versions of the dishes. Highly recommend coming here and trying the food. You won’t be disappointed!
Was in west Kendall working and wanted Indian food. Place is super cute and quaint. Clean. I orded the Curry 🥥 lamb. Came with yellow lentils, salad, rice, garlic pita and this baked dish. I ate the entire plate. Spices flowing everywhere in my body. And this whole plate was $17.95. Definitely a hidden gem.

I went with my son who was visiting to meet a friend of his for lunch. This was my first time eating here. This place is in a strip mall with easy parking and it is a small restaurant that is clean with a comfortable atmosphere and well decorated. We were able to sit and talk without much noise and we never felt rushed. We ordered two appetizers to share, the aloo tiki and the vegetable pakora which were both very good. For lunch from their lunch specials that were a set price, we had the chicken coconut curry and the aloo gobi. We had the choice of our food served not spicy, mild or spicy. We ordered mild and it was perfect. Food was large portions, great presentation, amazing flavors and was not over seasoned. We left full and happy with a to go container for later. Great lunch experience. We look forward to returning.
I had an amazing experience at Urban Rasoi. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly — they made us feel welcome right away. The highlight was definitely the butter chicken. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor — one of the best I’ve ever had. The sauce had the perfect balance of spices without being too heavy, and the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Paired with their fresh naan, it was unforgettable. Everything from the service to the food exceeded expectations. The food was delivered in a timely manner. I can’t wait to come back. The servers were very helpful and insightful in helping me in my first experience in an Indian restaurant.
It was amazing the food was 10/10, I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh as a medium was a good level of spicy, and the Mango Curry chicken was delicious and creamy and again we ordered it as medium and it was 10/10, I considered the medium to have just the right amount of spice but if you want more spicy they have a spicy option. the server Naida, is so nice and we’re very attentive and funny. I’d recommend this place, it’s sooo yummy
What an AMAZING experience! Had the mango chicken curry lunch special. Everything was delicious and the price was great! The location is beautiful and cozy. The staff was very friendly. Definitely a must do place! Coming back soon!!!!
As a person with a very low spice tolerance, I got the butter chicken as mild. 1. One of the best butter chickens I have ever had!! 2. I was able to handle the spice with how low it was which made it even more enjoyable. My boyfriend got lamb biryani, and asked for spicy and his mouth was on fire, but still tasted delicious! Definitely recommend!
Urban Rrasoi is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish is bursting with authentic Indian flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the butter chicken and I swear I heard angels singing “Jai Ho” in the background. And don’t even get me started on the cheese naan, it’s basically India’s love letter to pizza. Gooey, cheesy, buttery perfection. I’d fight a fully grown adult for the last piece. Honestly, if comfort had a flavor, it would be this naan wrapping me in a warm, cheesy hug. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure everything is perfect. You can tell they take pride in their food and service. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must visit.
I took my mom for lunch. It's my 2nd time coming, and it definitely won't be my last. The food is seasoned to perfection and great presentation. Our server Neida was excellent, knowledgeable, and polite. I definitely recommend the Tandoori Chicken Momo's. They are amazing! We took advantage of the lunch special. My mom ordered the Mango Curry Chicken, and I ordered the Chicken Coconut Curry. Both are full of flavor! 😋 I can't wait to go back to try other dishes!
First time guest was recommended by a coworker. Outstanding food and ambience. Had the lamb and chicken tekka. The flavor was excellent. Service was also fabulous, explained the different sauces. Cant wait to come back for another visit.
Incredible food! The lunch special is the perfect amount and such a good price. I did lamb korma. And our server Ayon was fast and friendly. Taught me about the basmati rice beer which was fun.
Great place! And amazing food and service! The coconut chicken curry was delicious and the garlic naan was also perfect! Would definitely recommend!!
We enjoyed our meals. My kids especially liked the tandoori chicken and the rice pudding. The Lamb Rogan Josh and garlic were also very flavorful. Service was very friendly and attentive.
The food was great! Butter roti, saag paneer were fresh. I liked the chai too :) This was on par or even better than some Indian restaurants in the Bay Area!
Never had Indian food before going to this restaurant, but after eating here I can for sure say I am going back. Delicious food and totally recommend getting the naan to dip with the curry, it’s delicious. The mango drink is really good and I am not a fan of mango. The food smells and taste incredible. For sure a great find.
Great place to eat. Very tasty food, great prices and they are pet friendly. The server was amazing and gave my dog a big bowl of yogurt and rice. 10/10
We don’t come to Kendall often, but we found this place after looking for a good and authentic Indian spot to eat. The food was magnificent, each bite was better than the last. The service was incredible too. Even though jt was very packed on this Saturday night, the food came fast and the attention was immaculate.
Urban Rasoi is my favorite Indian restaurant in Kendall! The food is always amazing, and the service is top-notch. Neida was an incredible waiter—attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service. My wife and I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Coconut Curry Chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. We loved every bite! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!
A little homey spot that truly delivers on authentic Indian cuisine! We started with the cauliflower appetizer, which tasted like a delicious Indian take on orange chicken—crispy, bold, and full of flavor. For our mains, we had the Chicken Coconut Curry and the Butter Chicken—both absolutely delicious and served with perfectly cooked Basmati rice. The garlic naan was soft, flavorful, and the perfect addition to the meal. The restaurant is humble, welcoming, and feels like a hidden gem. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
I honestly enjoyed everything I ordered. The mango lassi was sweet and refreshing. The lunch platter is awesome if you want to try more than one thing. The portions are generous. My favorite was the goat biriyani! Can’t forget the lamb Rogan josh. All well seasoned I loved the Bollywood music in the background and the artwork! It’s definitely an underrated spot. If your in the area don’t be scared to try!
We finally have Indian food in kendall, This restaurant left me a very pleasant experience, the customer service is excellent, the food is delicious, the prices are fair for what you eat, the portions are generous and the place is cozy and clean. I will definitely return to continue exploring the menu and continue delighting with their recipes! Point in favor and super important almost everyone there is from India, so they know what they are doing. Congratulations !!!
I am new to Indian Food and have tried the Butter Chicken and Mango Chicken Curry from here so far. Both meals have been absolutely delicious. I work close to this location and have ordered take out. Haven't had a chance to dine in so not able to rate the atmosphere but it does look quite nice inside. Friendly service and delicious food so far. Will update once I have had the chance to dine in. Definitely recommend 👌

Went there for lunch on a Saturday and didn’t have to wait to get seated. Tried Qorma and Biryani, food felt fresh, serving size was generous, however, flavor lacked authenticity. Dessert was good. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking inside strip mall.

The food is good here. I recommend mango lassi, chicken curry, and paratha (indian flatbread). The chips basket and the dip they brought before you order was super good, I could eat the whole basket. I also ordered gulab jamun (which I find it very overly sweet , like sugary sweet syrup) and chicken biryani (it was way too much saffron, I do not recommend at all). Other than that, everything else was great!
Small yet comfortable and clean strip mall restaurant. Gobi manchurian excellent. Crispy lightly breaded fried pieces of cauliflower with a delicious indo-chinese sauce based on red chili paste, ginger, vinegar, garlic, onions and bell peppers. Had chicken korma and chicken tika-masala. Both with the right balance of heat and spicy. Great garlic naam, savory, buttery and floffy. Good find in kendall drive.
We stopped here on the way to Miami from keywest. This restaurant is open past midnight and they were considerate enough to accommodate us at 11pm. We ordered gobi Manchurian, Kadhai paneer, shrimp tikka, chicken saagwala, Goan fish curry and carrot halwa. Vegetarian food was way delicious than non-vegetarian ones. Carrot halwa was not worth it.
First of all I eat at Indian restaurants around the world. This style of food is a fusion style. I would say it is not a particularly authentic Indian food but it was good. I would say it is good for families and those that like a milder spice. Portions were standard, but it was the naan that unfortunately wasn't made on site, it was store bought/ reheated. Glad I stopped in as it has a nice vibe.
I just want to start off by saying I wish I could rate this place higher, but the service we received is the reason I gave the score I did. As soon as you walked in you’re greeted with the smells of pepper and spice and I was extremely excited for this meal especially since I had eaten here before. Our server was amazing as well. She took care of us as soon as we got in. And that’s where the great service ended, she did her best, but she had no control of the speed of service in the kitchen. We ordered several dishes and a side salad as an appetizer. It took 30 minutes for our side salad to come out whilst a table of 8 that came in after us were getting their main dishes. We received our side salad and shortly after started receiving the dishes we ordered. The last dish to come to our table was a side order of pickled veggies that should have also come sooner. The food was amazing. Don’t get me wrong, but the speed of service was atrocious. A table that came in after us and when we were almost done eating got their appetizers and mains before we finished eating. Absolutely ridiculous.

I order door dash from here a lot so I feel the need to share my review. I absolutely love the butter chicken and I get it everytime but for some reason it’s hit or miss with the spice level. I always order it mild but about 50 percent of the time it comes really spicy. Again I really do like this place and the food but If this continues I won’t keep spending money to burn my mouth
I'm really very sad to write this review, because I've dined in a few times before and the food was excellent, but this time I'm really disappointed. I did a takeout order - the samosa (3) that as always are delicious, but I also ordered the Chicken Tikka Kebab (5) and spent $15 on it and it didn't even come with a small portion of rice (that's insane) and to make it worse, the chicken were such small pieces and was so dry and chewy. I could only stomach one piece and had to throw the rest out. $26 dollars in total was not worth it. I hope things get better because this was shocking.
Don’t order Lamb. They ripped us off. They gave us a very low quality beef for Lamb and pretended we were unable to recognize the difference. We complained and explained and nobody from the kitchen came to our table to prove us wrong. They thought that by giving us wine or desert for free was enough to keeps up quiet. Btw: we paid for everything we consumed.
The pakoda in the veggie platter was half-cooked. When we pointed it out, they replaced it with the exact same half-cooked items with zero sense of apology. The service was extremely poor, the staff seemed completely disinterested and unhelpful. The restaurant also offers freebies for spinning a wheel after leaving positive ratings, so the reviews are possibly misleading. Don’t rely on the ratings. Overall, it’s not a place worth spending your money.
