I have been here many times and I am never disappointed! Everything I have had here is so tasty.
My favorite greasy spoon in town. Community oriented, Very popular with locals, supports local causes. Offer organic eggs if asked.
Great breakfast, great service, great prices, I am so happy I stopped here,
Stopped for little snack after a hike. Had French dipped sandwich with home fried potatoes on the side. Simple and delicious!!!
Very friendly, and food and service is great. Best breakfast stop in Middletown by far.
I love eating breakfast here. The food's always good and the people that run it are always friendly.
Biscuits and gravy unlike anyone else. Delicious breakfast every time and at a price the whole family can afford. This is the only place for a full breakfast with coffee for under 10 bucks. Cute and downhome vibes pull it all together.
I've been going here for years. And the food is always wonderful.
Amazing people! But wait til you have a burger!! I ordered the baby bacon cheese burger. Oh my goodness! Just like the old fashioned burgers we used to get back in the day! Thick hand pressed hamburger meat. Cooked to your taste. Mine was medium well. So juicy!!!! It really is a regular sized burger not a small burger. I can't even imagine getting the bigger one!!!!
Excellent chicken fried steak not your normal breaded garbage had fresh mushrooms in a white gravy sauce. Omg I ate it all and now I'm so full it's wine o'clock time for the vineyards. Beulah good service great food I'll be back when I come through town to try the ribeye steak breakfast special. I loved the coffee strong and good.
This place is incredible. Well decorated, and all the food is amazing. The people who work here are so kind and sweet. Good prices.
IT HAS NEW OWNERSHIP...THE GARBAGE OMELET WAS EXCELLENT...WIFE HAD EGGS & HAM... WE HAVE EATEN HERE SEVERAL TIMES...HAVE ALWAYS HAD THEIR BREAKFAST / OR LUNCH...BACON / EGGS / COTTAGE POTATOES / OR HER CHEESE BURGER AND FRIES ...GOOD FOOD & GOOD SERVICE...ALWAYS LARGE PORTIONS...TRIVIA: REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO ORDER FRENCH TOAST AND PANCAKES TOGETHER... / OPEN 6AM TO 2PM / GOTTA GO BACK AGAIN...MAJOR TRIVIA: WE WILL DRIVE TO MIDDLETOWN FOR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH...
Perfect cafe. Eggs were excellent. Toast was perfect, service was friendly, 5 stars for sure. Oh, hash browns were pretty awesome too.
Great local joint with excellent food and friendly service. Old school small town diner atmosphere.
This restaurant is in Middletown California a must-stop place my motorcycle broke down I went and had breakfast for 799 I'm from the bay area where you pay 1399 for an omelet the service was great I would definitely go back there again the next time I drive through which I'm going to go through next week just to have breakfast
i love this place woooo drove 2 hr and 30 min to get food and they were closed…WHAT DA HELLLL not cool queen beulah. still got love 4 ya💗(get the french toast😍)
Cute little diner. Good food, fast & efficient service. I will go there again when I am in town.
The food was absolutely stellar, the service was amazing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and makes you feel at home.
These ladies are happy friendly and good at this business the food came out fast was super fresh and was spot on small place but loved the warmth and happy nature.....
When we would stay in Hidden Valley, we would have breakfast there. The best around. I would have one called "the garbage can" it was loaded down and very, very good. I would stop there anytime if I am up there.
Update, came back for a real sitdown breakfast. The lady's were so friendly and quick. Breakfast was so tasty, many condiments on the table. Biscuits and gravy was on point. Loved this little place, super hole in the wall. The ladies cooking and serving were so motherly graceful. Very tasty sandwich, had to try something here even though i just ate down the street. Very home cooked style, cant wait to come back this way. Cheesesteak was so yummy with the potato salad.
Great, local spot! We were out of towners and we were made to feel welcome immediately upon walking in. The food was delish and didn't wait too long for it. Parking is limited (we parked on the street), but I would definitely be a regular if I lived there.
I try to eat here everyday!!! It reminds me of home cooking because it is home cooking!! Great food, great service! Would recommend to new people and I WILL continue to return and be satisfied!!!
Great breakfast spot. Had biscuits and gravy, they were delicious!
This place was SO AMAZING! I don't remember anything on the menu being over 10 bucks either!? This place should be featured on a TV show or something! Should have taken a before picture.. LOL
Cute cozy place to eat in Middletown, CA Portions were just right

Love Beulah's biscuits and gravy. The chorizo is good too, it's homemade.

Best place for breakfast in Middletown. It's a small place so parties larger than four might not be 100% comfortable. But food is always good, service is quick and friendly, and the prices can't be beat. A great stop for a local or any traveler passing through this backwater town.
I was introduced to Beulah's by a local business owner during a visit to Middleton. A real throwback for me. An independent locally owned diner with a good lunch selection. While my french dip was not memorable, it did the trick and calmed my hunger.
Beula's has been in this town for over 30 years under different owners. They provide hearty diner-styled food--sometimes with some Mexican choices that the current owners have incorporated. You can sit out back when the weather is nice or cozy up in the very compact dining room when it is not. Portions are large, individually prepared, and wait times for food are usually 5-10 minutes. My favorites are the Chicken Ortega sandwich and the BLT with avocado and Montery Jack. I usually get a salad as a side but the Potato Salad and Home Fries are awesome if you need the carbs!
I have been meeting a friend here on Sundays for breakfast for years now and My only complaint has been the coffee Will not come around fast enough .
Cute little hole in the wall. It smelled good outside 😁 we had to go in the place... A few seats were opened so we sat ourselves down and ordered breakfast -- great service and the food was great.
This is a local’s diner, with the usual offerings and a friendly, albeit bare-bones staff. The food is decent, the coffee is better than Starbucks, and anything chorizo-based is a treat.
Standard breakfast fare. Well made and delicious. The largest table is for six. We had a large group and had to split across multiple tables.

Decent local restaurant. The food was alright, but nothing special. I got the biscuits and gravy which were delicious, but a very small serving. The staff was friendly, but the waitress never checked in on us after we got our food.
Great people, tasty food at a very reasonable price. Fun and funky! We sat outside on our first visit and were well taken care of. Not sure but they may not have a deep fryer - chips not fries om the menu and my "chicken fried steak" (which was super tasty) was pan fried and didn't seem to be breaded or battered. Surprising but the flavors were excellent! We'll be back.
Quaint little roadside diner serving breakfast & lunch only. I ordered my standard bacon potatoes & eggs. The bacon was wonderfully crisp without me requesing it to be so. I just wish I'd asked for the potatoes to be extra crispy, but I forgot. Even so, the potatoes were good. Just about everywhere else I go for breakfast cannot get my eggs right, but Beulah's did! Thank you!

I had breakfast there. The food wasn't bad by no means, I just wasn't impressed by the food.
Only powder creamer, immediately sat down to ants on the table...not sure how this place has a better rating then the amazing cow poke Cafe right next door, more space freindly staff and they have the Essentials for a good breakfast.
Eggs had uncooked white, the omelette came out with ONE slice of processed cheese on top. Coffee was great tho
The restaurant is rather cozy. Took a little bit of time to be served, however the food was pretty good. I like to visit local restaurants when I am traveling. This one was good. If I am going through Middletown again, I will need to stop in. They do have interesting hours to 1:45 pm.
Very mid. Small portions, on the pricier side, nothing special or particularly noteworthy. Would not recommend for breakfast.

All I can say is that it was ok. The eggs were cooked properly, but the chicken fried steak was not chicken fried at all, it looked like the meat before you bread it and fry it. I was not impressed and will not be back.
Skip it for breakfast. Hashbrown were the only good thing I ate. Scrambled eggs were a flat over cooked omelet. Most people I noticed were eating pancakes or a burger. I had the chicken fried stake. It was tough and grizzly with a mushroom gravy. Not for me. Feel bad because the service was wonderful but the food was forgettable.
Stopped to grab a bite to eat. Most of the tables were dirt. Ordered the garbage omelet with a pancake instead of toast and a coffee. The menu price for the omelet was 12, which came with toast. To my surprise, at the register, my total was 21.48. WOW! 9 dollars for a coffee, let me tell you this coffee was just a regular coffee, not a Starbucks. The waitress and the cook were having a gossip conversation in spanish, and some curse words were expressed. Honestly, i was not a happy customer and was very disappointed in the amazing small town of Middletown, such as poor service and unexpected total.
if you enjoy spending $50 for two breakfast dishes this may be your spot. omelet was okay. biscuits and gravy were so-so. best and last part of the meal was the side of two sausage patties. super tasty. at nearly $10, they better have been!

Was doing some work in the area their chicken fried steak was tougher than a piece of shoe leather there are flies flying around in their restaurant everything tastes like it came out of a can or was made last week in fact gave me the bathroom runs would never eat there or recommend anyone that would be stupid enough to eat there
Rating is for food alone. I ordered a hamburger with home fries, and my friend ordered a french dip with potato salad. My hamburger was alright, nothing great. The home fries were cold. After about half way through the meal, I got nauseous and couldn't finish it. Later that day I had horrible digestive issues. My friends french dip was probably the smallest french dip I have seen. There was maybe one or two small slices of roast beef. You could hardly tell it had meat by looking at it! I was told that what little meat there was, was tasty. Their potato salad was fine, but again nothing too good. Wont be coming back
Staff was very rude when politely asked if they could swap out my overcooked chicken fried steak for a couple strips of bacon. Refused to do so. Evrything else was very good.
