Da grande amante della cucina indiana, che ho gustato in tutto il mondo — dall'India a New York — devo fare una confessione: non ho mai mangiato un Chicken Tikka Masala eccellente come quello di Rangoli. Superiore perfino a quelli provati a Mumbai o New Delhi! Tutto è stato impeccabile: la sobria eleganza del locale, la cura nella presentazione e l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ma ciò che ha davvero emozionato me e la mia compagna è stata la gentilezza e il "cuore" della titolare. Oltre alla squisita ospitalità, ci ha sorpresi con un pensiero inaspettato e bellissimo che porteremo con noi, un gesto di rara generosità che conferma come questo ristorante sia un luogo speciale. Ogni volta che tornerò a Milano, Rangoli sarà una tappa fissa. As a lover of Indian cuisine who has traveled to Mumbai and Delhi, I must say: this is the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect, from the elegant atmosphere to the excellent value. But what truly touched us was the owner’s extraordinary kindness and big heart—she surprised us with a beautiful, unexpected gift. A rare gem in Milan. We will definitely be back!
Ristorante indiano molto caratteristico, sia nei piatti che nel locale molto curato. Io ho chiamato per avvisare che sono celiaco, i camerieri se lo sono addirittura segnato ed erano già informati per il tavolo. Del menù purtroppo gli antipasti non sono senza glutine (sono tutti fritti) ma praticamente tutti i piatti principali sí. il personale è anche molto attento alle contaminazioni, mi hanno sconsigliato di prendere un piatto che è cotto nello stesso forno del pane. È la prima volta che ho provato indiano ed è stato un posto fantastico! Consigliatissimo!

Sono andato a cena con i miei genitori e abbiamo mangiato da paura! Il pollo al burro era pazzesco. Abbiamo preso anche il cheese naan e i gamberoni… tutto perfetto! Il locale è molto curato e accogliente, e il personale super gentile e simpatico. Si vede che ci tengono davvero. Prezzi onestissimi per la qualità, e le porzioni sono belle abbondanti. Se vi piace l’indiano (o se volete provarlo per la prima volta), questo posto è una garanzia.

Sono stato in questo locale insieme ad alcuni colleghi, di cui una indiana che ci ha guidati nella scelta di alcune delle tante pietanze presenti nel menù. Non conosco affatto bene la cucina indiana, ma devo dire che i piatti che abbiamo provato sono stati tutti molto gustosi. Anche la scelta dei vini è abbastanza varia e di buona qualità. Per quanto riguarda il locale, esso è disposto su due piani. Il primo, all'ingresso, ha una capienza abbastanza limitata con tavoli per poche persone, ma al piano inferiore l'ambiente è decisamente più ampio, offrendo molto spazio dedicato soprattutto a tavolate con numerose persone. Il locale è comunque pulito e con un'atmosfera calda ed accogliente. Belle le decorazioni indiane in giro per il ristorante. Il personale si è dimostrato molto cortese ed attento alle nostre esigenze ed il servizio ai tavoli è stato rapido e preciso. Il prezzo, tutto sommato, è nella media, tenendo conto della qualità e della posizione. Aver scoperto questo ristorante è stata una bella sorpresa, certamente da tenere in considerazione per gustare piatti tipici indiani, sia che si tratti di un pranzo/cena con amici, sia che si voglia stare in un ambiente tranquillo con il proprio partner.
Un viaggio in India nel cuore elegante di Brera "Il Rangoli non è il 'solito' ristorante indiano, è una vera istituzione a Milano. Appena si entra in via Solferino, si viene accolti da un'atmosfera coloniale, elegante e raffinata, lontana dagli stereotipi kitsch. Il servizio è impeccabile: cortese, presente ma mai invadente. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la qualità delle materie prime; il Chicken Tikka Masala è probabilmente uno dei migliori che abbia mai mangiato in città (cremoso e speziato al punto giusto) e i Naan sono serviti caldissimi e fragranti. Ottima anche la selezione di piatti tandoori, dove la marinatura fa davvero la differenza. Il conto è leggermente superiore alla media dei ristoranti etnici, ma assolutamente giustificato dalla location, dalla qualità del cibo e dall'ambiente curato. Perfetto sia per una cena romantica che per una serata tranquilla con amici. Consigliatissimo!"
Forse il mio ristorante indiano preferito in tutta Milano. Ho preso il chicken tikka che era super saporito e tenero. Ho provato anche il baigan bharta un piatto a base di melanzane ed era strepitoso anche quello. Prezzo onesto, servizio veloce e locale carino
5 stelle per esperienza e cibo per rapporto qualità prezzo. Porzioni abbondanti e saporito ad un prezzo relativamente contenuto. Sapori orientali speziati ma non pesanti. Perfino il pane risultava saporitissimo
Uno dei indiano più buono che io abbia provato a Milano. C'era stato un problema con le prenotazioni online che non risultavano, ma hanno risposto subito. Servizio buono, ambiente molto carino e particolare. i piatti che abbiamo ordinato erano tutti molto buoni,a quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata l'insalata, molto particolare. È stata una bella esperienza tutto sommato. Ritornerò sicuramente.
Rangoli è stata un'ottima scoperta. Anche da non assidua frequentatrice della cucina indiana ho apprezzato molto l'equilibrio e il gusto di tutti i piatti provati. In 4 abbiamo provato, oltre al classico antipasto vegetariano, un pollo tandoori, tre diversi curry e due piatti di riso, tutti davvero ottimo. L'ambiente è molto carino (uscirete senza l'odore della cucina sui vestiti) e i prezzi mi sono sembrati corretti.

Ottimo ristorante indiano in zona Brera. Il locale è molto bello, curato nei dettagli senza esagerazione. We requested vegetarian food with no onions and no garlic, and the restaurant accommodated our request perfectly. I’m not a foodie and I rarely write reviews, but when I genuinely love something, I can’t help praising it enough. Sorry, couldn’t take pictures of the food—it was so incredibly delicious that we couldn’t resist digging in. Highly, highly recommended. A must-try for anyone visiting Milan. First of all, compliments to the chef for the amazing food. Every spice was rich and full of flavor, and the dishes were truly finger-licking good. We tried the Dal Makhani, Biryani, Tandoori roti, Aalu kulcha, Mint sauce, Tamarind sauce, and Pistachio kulfi (perfectly balanced, not overly sweet). Every single dish exceeded our expectations. I especially want to mention the mint and tamarind sauces—they truly deserve special recognition and were just as finger-licking good. Jitni tareef karoon, utni kam hai.

The food was actually delicious. Especially the Naan and gravy ( we ordered kadai paneer and tawa prawns masala ) was made to perfection and the gravy was just Indian spicy level perfect if you’re an Indian looking for Indian spicy ! Would highly recommend this place
We had our best Indian food Italy. Their hospitality was so heartwarming. The ambience was charming. Coming from lucknow it is hard to find the taste that matches our tastebuds but their food made our knees weak and we could hardly distinguish whether we were in Milan or Home, In other words Home away from Home ❤️

Had visited milan for host milano. Was longing for authentic indian food, Fortunately got to know about RANGOLI from a italian friend.the food was was great and authentic. We had made a reservation here, so there was no wait. We loved our experience here. The decor inside the restaurant was beautiful but felt a little stuffy and warm, so we decided to sit outside on the patio. The service was great. We ordered paneer tikka, palak paneer and dal makhani, all three were delicious! The naans very so yummy as well. We were very well attended to. Coming from Toronto Canada, which has incredible Indian restaurants, we LOVED Rangoli, very good food, ambience and service. I would highly recommend.

On Sunday my wife and I had aperitivo at Rangoli followed by dinner. Mangorita was exquisite and together with Panipuri, and Bhajiya it was awesome combination. Dinner followed by delicious kulfi and amaro completed date of the beautiful evening. Food was super delicious 😋 and adding to it the presentation was super artistic😍…all dishes were beautiful combination of artistic presentation, aromatic smell and perfect taste👌👌. We strongly advocate Indian aperitivo at Rangoli.
Came for a dinner with colleagues. Since we have an Indian girl, she ordered everything for all of us to try many things, so i cannot name the dishes. But everything was soo good! All the dishes were full of taste. The guys working there are super nice. And where they could, they didn’t add too much spice, since we asked them. A place to come back to try more Indian dishes!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato a cena, non abbiamo prenotato, ma ci hanno comunque trovato un posto! Il locale è molto curato, una sala superiore più piccola e una sala più grande (e un po’ più caotica) al piano sotto. Personale molto gentile, servizio non particolarmente rapido, un po’ disattento (hanno fatto un paio di errori). I piatti ci sono molto piaciuti, sia gli antipasti più ricercati che i piatti più tradizionali! Non è un ristorante economico, alcune portate hanno prezzi consoni - considerata anche la zona e il tipo di locale - altre invece le abbiamo trovate un po’ care (ciotola di riso bianco a 5€). Un antipasto, due piatti principali, due porzioni di pane naan + un’acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa: 78€. Consigliamo sicuramente ☺️
Facile da raggiungere. Ristorante abbastanza grande (zona -1). I proprietari sono molto simpatici e accoglienti. Sono stata per festeggiare con la mia amica la “Diwali”. C’erano dei danzatrici. I cibo é ottimo. Empanada con salsa yogurt, pollo al cocco, carne trita condita erano tutti buoni. Le nostre pietanze (quella sera) erano a base di carne di pollo e agnello. Rogan Josh (Kashmir) - La carne d’agnello era condita molto bene, tenerissima. Ovviamente il cibo era molto speziato. Li ho abbinati con la piadina calda. Pure le lenticchie erano buone. Lassi al mango (ver. dolce) é molto buono. Sa di yakult al mango. I dolci erano troppo zuccherati soprattutto il Jalebi. Buono il Mysore pak. L’unica pecca era che ci hanno fatti aspettare un po’ per avere le pietanze, e hanno servito prima il tavolo accanto appena arrivato. Durante lo spettacolo non si vedeva niente… perché il proprietario si metteva proprio in mezzo a fare il video😅 e in altri momenti un cameriere sistemava un tavolo. Serata molto carina. Buon 🪔 Diwali.
Siamo stati in questo ristorante indiano e ci siamo trovati davvero bene! L’ambiente è accogliente e curato, con un’atmosfera piacevole che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Il cibo è ottimo, saporito ma equilibrato, con piatti preparati con ingredienti freschi e ben presentati. A pranzo c’è la possibilità di scegliere un menù fisso — vegetariano, con pollo o altre varianti — molto conveniente e completo, oppure ordinare alla carta se si preferisce provare qualcosa di diverso. Un’esperienza davvero positiva, consigliatissimo!
Sep 2025 Start with Salted Lassi (Taste, very good) We order Veg Biryani, Palak Paneer & Butter Chicken everything really to good. In the end like always at desi resturant *Masala Chai* its amaizing 18 January 2026 It was my second visit, and honestly, I’m still short of words. The food was far beyond expectations . Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Biryani were full of rich, authentic flavors, the Salted Lassi was perfectly balanced, and last but not least, the Masala Chai was simply outstanding. Really admire their service and taste — a place that truly knows how to impress and make you come back again.

Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant. Most of the dishes were flavorful; however, I wasn’t a fan of the pindi chole, but the kadai paneer was absolutely delicious. While charging for water seems common in Italy, I was disappointed by the hidden costs, like the cover charge, which I later learned is typical in many restaurants. These additional charges made the dishes feel a bit overpriced.
Siamo stati qui a cena senza prenotare, ci siamo trovati okay nonostante il personale non fosse per nulla simpatico e gentile. Il cibo era ottimo, tuttavia le porzioni erano davvero minuscole per il prezzo che chiedono. Abbiamo ordinato delle samosa, del pane indiano, Paneer Makhani (era troppo pesante, lo sentivi ogni boccone allo stomaco!) e Chicken Madras Curry (troppo piccante!) Non ci tornerei e né lo consiglio prezzi esageratamente alti.
Went for dinner around 8pm. Restaurant looks nice. We sat outside. The inside smelled like pickle and it was stuffy. They have a cover charge which includes a sad selection of two chutneys - a horrible sweet green chutney and another one we didnt try. And some papadums. Ordered chana masala - came without salt or any Indian flavour. Aloo gobhi was alright. Lachha parantha was alright. All in all, just passable food and the servers/staff arent too nice either.. we spent 30 euros. Wasnt worth it. We had amazing Indian food in Milan Barcelona and all over Europe. This was not it. Esp if youre Indian and looking for familiar flavours, please avoid. Westerners, maybe they’ll like it.
