Recensioni di Samarkand Milano
A wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and Hana stood out with her professionalism, kindness, and confidence. She introduced each dish with great respect and care, which truly enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommended.
A hidden gem for Persian cuisine in Milan. Samarkand offers a truly authentic Iranian dining experience, from the welcoming atmosphere to the beautifully prepared dishes. The flavors are rich yet balanced, with perfectly cooked rice, fragrant herbs, and tender meats that reflect real attention to tradition and quality. Every plate feels thoughtfully made, and the portions are generous without being heavy. The ambiance is cozy and elegant, making it ideal for both a relaxed dinner and a special evening out. Service is kind and attentive, with staff happy to explain the dishes and make recommendations. If you’re looking to explore Persian cuisine or simply enjoy a refined, comforting meal, Samarkand is absolutely worth a visit.
I recently had the opportunity to try three dishes at this restaurant: Chenjeh, Kebab Koobideh, and the Giujeh Tandoori Piccante. Overall, the experience was very positive. Among the three, I especially recommend the Chenjeh and the Giujeh Tandoori Piccante. The Chenjeh was exceptionally tender, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection, with excellent flavor balance. The Giujeh Tandoori Piccante stood out for its rich seasoning and subtle heat, offering a distinctive and memorable taste. Both the quality of the ingredients and the portion sizes were excellent, reflecting a strong attention to detail in preparation and presentation. This restaurant clearly takes pride in its food, and I would confidently recommend it, particularly for the Chenjeh and Giujeh Tandoori Piccante.
I come here regularly. The place is surely worth of trying. The dishes are authentic, always taste fresh, and the presentation is great. Always see both couples and groups comming here to have some good time. Hanna the waiter is supportive and kind. Highly recommended!
This is by far the best Persian restaurant I’ve had in Milan. The atmosphere in the restaurant was snug and cozy, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Shirazi Salad, Mirza Ghasemi, Maast Khitar, Bamya, and the star of the show of course the Kobeda Kabab. The meat was juicy and super flavorful. Highly recommend the restaurant!
The food was absolutely delicious, especially the rice and grilled dishes. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Special thanks to our waitress Hana she was very friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better!
Great and fresh food. Vibes are excellent, even for families. The staff member, Hanane, was very friendly and caring. Would definitely come back!
This restaurant is a very special place where you can taste a variety of Persian dishes. The menu offers diversity, is exotic, and feels neat😋 Although the restaurant's name reminds you of Uzbekistan, it interestingly offers various dishes from Iran and Afghanistan, making it highly recommended👍 Note that due to its limited space reservations seem necessary!
I was in Milan for a night and found this Persian restaurant near my hotel - and it was a really good find! A clear menu with a variety of Uzbeki, Afghan and Persian food, that was all really good and took me back to my travels in that area. All the starters were tasty and served with a naan-type bread. The Uzbeki rice with meatballs was excellent. All washed down with a cold beer. Good service in the tiny restaurant with about 20 seats but nicely furnished and decorated. Good value for money if not exactly cheap, €75 for two people with 4 starter dishes, two rice and two meat dishes. Plus beers! Recommended!

It has Afghan and Iranain food in menu but the portion and quality are not the same. Prices are so high, if you give oders the will bring to little foods in title plates that will not make you full.
The place was a bit cold, the service was slow and we waited a lot for the food to arrive. We were 8 people so we ordered different kinds of food in the menu and we shared so that we can try all different kinds but totally I didn’t like the taste of the food because it was not fresh and the day after I felt a bit bad. For the dessert we ordered black tea and Shole Zard that were good. Totally I just liked the dessert and not the food and I think comparing to the price that was not also cheap the quality of the food and the service was not good enough.😕
1/5 – Overrated and extremely overpriced Very disappointing experience. This restaurant is highly overrated and way too expensive for what you get. The place is extremely small and cramped. Tables are so close that you can’t sit comfortably, talk freely, or even move properly. Every time someone enters or leaves, everyone has to shift. It felt uncomfortable and poorly planned. The food portions are very small compared to the high prices. We waited around 30 minutes for the food, and the service was slow and poor. Only one staff member was handling everything. They charged 2€ cover per person, but there was no service worth paying for and nothing complimentary, unlike most restaurants. I have tried many Iranian restaurants, including in Iran, and Iranian cuisine is known for generosity and hospitality (bread, herbs, soup, etc.). This place offers none of that and does not represent Persian cuisine. We ordered Chelo Kebab, Ghormeh Sabzi, salad, bread, and 2 ayran. Total: 81€ — completely unjustified. Not recommended.
