The view is truly beautiful and the food was good — prices are high, but understandable considering the location and the scenery. Unfortunately, the service did not reflect the same quality. The cashier was cold from the beginning, but what really disappointed us was what happened while paying. We noticed an item on the bill that we hadn’t ordered, and when we politely asked for it to be removed, she rolled her eyes and continued with a condescending attitude. I told her directly that her behavior was not appropriate. It really took away from what could have been a pleasant experience. Beautiful place, but service — especially from the staff at the cashier — definitely needs improvement.

I recently had lunch at The Dome Milano and the experience was memorable from start to finish. The rooftop terrace is truly one of the most beautiful in the city, offering an unbeatable view of the Duomo. It’s a fantastic spot to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and take in the skyline of Milan. I ordered the club sandwich, and although it’s a classic, it was done to perfection — fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors, and great attention to presentation. It felt elevated, yet comforting. The overall vibe is elegant and refined, ideal for a stylish break in the heart of the city. The staff was polite and professional, though I have to mention that the service was a bit slow at times. Nothing major, but it’s worth noting if you’re in a rush. Prices are definitely on the higher end, but in my opinion, justified by the location, the setting, and the quality of the food and drinks. If you’re looking for a special place to enjoy lunch or just want to treat yourself to a great view and great food, I highly recommend The Dome. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had an overall pleasant experience at Dome Milano. The atmosphere is really nice, and the views from the balcony are beautiful. However, I found the food to be fairly average. We ordered two avocado toasts, one with salmon and the other with bresaola, along with scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes (we asked to remove the bacon). We also tried the fresh and dried fruit bowl, which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. I would recommend trying Dome Milano at least once for the ambiance and the view, but the main dishes were not particularly exciting. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Don’t get sucked in. This is just a Instagram/TikTok hype place. The rooftop itself is beautiful however the food and service is sub standard. We ordered the pancakes and they were average, nothing special, just very instagrammable. The service was poor and it took around 20 minutes for someone to take our order after asking twice. I tried Japanese pancakes from somewhere else instead which were 10 x tastier, and less expensive. Wouldn’t recommend sadly

first stop in milan! came here for the views - which was mid but the ambience was nice. we ordered focaccia for a quick snack, it was yummy with a twist of sweetness - i think it was because of the honey? servers were slow even though there was no one there. wouldn’t come back as there are probably better restaurants around.

This is a review for a restaurant in the center of Milan. We arrived on a Friday afternoon. Chose this place based on online reviews and recommendations. The first impression was interesting. To get to the restaurant, you need to take two different elevators. Very beautiful design of the restaurant, everything is green, nice music. Very pleased with the fresh flowers on the tables. I love this very much. We didn't book a table, but we managed to be seated at this time. There is no menu in this restaurant, only online. Unfortunately, the menu did not open on our phone. We asked the waiter to help, we had to wait 20 minutes. Nobody paid attention to us. Then the waiter came up, who nevertheless helped us and gave his phone for ordering. We ordered caesar lard, club sandwich, coffee latte, pink latte. Interesting drinks. Pink latte is not coffee. Separately, they bring milk and strawberry jam, which you can add to the glass yourself. Very original and delicious! The food was good! It all cost us 65 euros. Payment occurs at the checkout, not from the waiter. Very strange, because there is a huge queue in the middle of the restaurant so that people can pay. In general, the design of the restaurant is nice, but there is no view of the Duomo in general. You can see part of the building. The toilet in the restaurant is not big and is shared with men and women. Conclusion: I can not give a definite answer. Too many nuances to consider.

Typically would avoid anywhere with this sort of rating in the first place but had no choice in the matter and frankly amazed it’s even 3.7. The service from start to finish is poor and the restaurant has little going for it apart from an Instagram friendly flower bar. Even the view (which is nice) was tough to really access with a makeshift 50cm wide balcony behind their plastic window sheeting. It doesn’t get better with the food unfortunately - the steak tartare is almost inedible it’s so heavily coated in garlic and the pasta dishes are bland and uninspiring (the eggplant parmasiano wasn’t bad). Again aside from the tiramisu the deserts were equally poor, the menu is almost all miss minimal hit. The cloakroom attendant had disappeared when we went to retrieve our coats leaving them unguarded/accessible to anyone and we had to dive into the closet ourselves to get them, the finishing touch on a restaurant experience best avoided

Found this place because of TikTok. Going in we knew that the food would be average (due to other reviews) but we chose to go purely because of the views from the rooftop terrace. The atmosphere and the decor are the highlight, a tourist trap as it is right next to the Piazza Duomo. Due to other reviews we went in with low expectations all I would say is don’t go for the food, go for the vibe!

When you are coming over to visit a Milan don't be scammed by Gucci building sing in the city centre ,Duomo. Its what they want to be. I've tried to book New Year Eve dinner for 3. Girl at the door took our details and repeated 4 times that only 90min stays allowed, -a bit weird but sure they make they own rules so OK. After 5min booking she mentioned that's only 2 of us can be serve😤 so we have just left this place without proper explanation. But worse to come. 2nd of January we tried again ... but this time 2 of us and we make it 😉 . Used 2 elevators to get to the top of restaurant. While beginning sitted waiter ask if we want any drinks or just water so with simply answer- yes still water on the beginning please , you need to scan a menu by your phone to get info about your food. Ordered a food, caesar salad and Mexican-style amberiack ceviche which incl -Tortilla, amberjack, guacamole, cherry tomatoes, lime -which suppose to be as main. Extra beer and glass of wine as well. And here we go with massive disappointment. Salad was great however my meal was missing tomatoes, guacamole, Tortilla . When I called to manager he's back to the kitchen and have brought me a Tortilla slices 🙃 only . So I called him again and tried explaining that's not what I have ordered but he's refused to change for the right meal. His attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. Got what I've got with a bit confusing. At the mean time waiter ask if I want a bread - I simply agreed. When I've finished my ,,meal,, went into outdoor terrace to check a view and take some pictures and just turned around and checked that our table beginning cleaning and our drinks missed from the table. I back inside and mentioned to the other waiter that we weren't finished yet and she puts back our glasses 😑. Finally I asked for a bill and Ive been suprised-charged for everything even for still water and bread, don't mind about service charges as that's common in Milan, but charging high end prices but really not giving high end service its not right things to do. Glass of wine 15e, water 4e, bread 8e This place should value guests from the first moment, but my experience was the exact opposite. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you care about being treated well. Never going back there.

Bad service waited for 1and a half hour to get food and drinks just got told it’s a technical issue? No compensation or anything. Booked through fork there’s a hidden 300 euro minimum spending! Even though I didn’t see it at all. But the manager insisted on it. The view was bad as well, couldn’t see much of duomo at all. Food is lame. Spent 134 but got charged 600!

We went to have a hot chocolate that cost over 12 euros and to see the Christmas decorations. Since it was a table with a low ticket, they pressured us to leave the table in less than an hour. The service was poor: the waiters took a long time to bring water and other basic items, clearly trying to turn the table and rotate customers. This business model is not necessarily wrong, but it should be clearly communicated so people can decide whether they want to go under those conditions or not.

We had a disappointing experience from the start. When we first arrived, we were told (in an unfriendly tone) to come back after 40 minutes. Once we returned, they said we had to book online — so we did, for 2:30 PM. When we arrived at 2:30, we were told that reservations weren’t really necessary and that tables should be available. The restaurant was mostly empty, with only a few guests inside. Despite that, we waited over 20 minutes before anyone approached us. I asked if someone could take our order, and the response was simply, “My colleague will do it.” When someone finally came, he acted like he was annoyed and said “Come on,” as if he was being forced to do it. The attitude was very rude and unprofessional. This kind of service really ruined the experience, and we wouldn’t recommend it at all. 👎
