Phyllis' Giant Burgers

They were giant. Also the guys who work there are iconic. Experienced a very intense soccer game there on the screen and it was lovely.

A small but welcoming burger stop. Phyllis’s has excellent customer service, they’re fast on the orders and the food is amazing. My order consisted of a giant burger topped with pesto sauce, two giant burgers with bacon, a large garlic fries and small regular fries paired with a coffee milk shake, mint chip milk shake and a vanilla milk shake. The burger was a great choice I’ve never had a burger with pesto before but it’s definitely something that I’ll be recommending to future customers. The shake on the other hand tasted a little bit too much like black coffee however the mint chip specialty milkshake was delicious. Between three people we weren’t not able to finish the garlic fries you get pretty big servings. The small here is a large at other places so keep that in mind when you’re ordering. There is seating indoor and out but it is limited but there are plenty of parks to stop and have a picnic near by. I will most definitely be coming back to this establishment for years to come. Thank you for the amazing dinning experience.

Pictures don’t do it Justice , burgers are seriously fat and juicy. Great taste , fresh ingredients , crispy curly fries. 10/10 would burger again

Impressive old school burger stand with top quality ingredients that are well prepared. The price reflects the area and the quality...no complaints. The burger was perfection...juicy, fat, greasy enough, perfectly cooked to your specifications, generous portions of bacon, grilled fresh onion, ripe tasty thick sliced tomato...the works. Pro tip ask for a side of chipotle mayo with those amazing super crispy yet not dry fries. Coffee shake was good, but probably not worth the calories or price tag for our tastes... but nice in any case. We shared a bacon cheese burger, large fries and a coffee shake and were stuffed and satisfied! Delicious! Stop by on a trip up North or if you are in Marin for old school American roadside fare ramped up without being ruined. If you love a Giany juicy burger and fries .. you won't regret the visit!

Hello again friends and Happy Friday! So on this day I was in San Rafael and I was released to take my lunch and came across this place on my way to delivering an order. I pulled up, went in and ordered a Turkey Burger which came with mushrooms and cheese, sweet potato fries.. plus I added a Pineapple shake which was so delicious. The woman who took my order was very kind, courteous and suggested that their shakes were good. After waiting less than 10 min my order was ready and I decided to eat outside since it was such a beautiful day.. nice and warm. I took out my food and my burger was HUGE my turkey patty was SO JUICY! OMG.. so much so there was juice in my container it came in.. lol! My burger was flavorful, cheese nice and melted.. oh and lots not forget PLENTY of mushrooms, that's of you love them like I do.. you definitely don't have to search to find them. My fries were cooked ALL THE WAY THROUGH and crispy. How can I forget my shake which was so YUMMY and not too sweet either. I would without a doubt mention this place to those who have never been to Phyllis and to those are regulars...I am now a return customer. As my day went on with work I did come across another location so I am assuming they have more. My food was so good..I forgot to take pics.. lol but hopefully next time I am able to go I will have pics of what I orderd.

This is a charming burger joint. Kid behind the register is sweet as pie. The people there talk to you while they are working. Burgers are great. GF Buns fall apart and next time I'd go with a lettuce wrap but the burger itself was great and the curly fries were actually crispy. 10/10. (Fryer also fries breading so no GF fries but the place is worth the trip for sure.

I've eaten at 100's of restaurants and had hundreds of burgers......this food....that burger ....my second time and worth all the dollars .....yum yum yum all day 😋 it's not a fluke went today a month or so later ordered something else was amazing 😍

Great place to eat the sign outside says best burger in Marin no joke. Plus they have a really nice patio but it can only fit about ten people .The ground beef was lean on a high quality bun garnish that's very tasty I can say it's the best deal on the miracle Mile

I stopped by for lunch and was greeted by friendly staff. I was helped quickly and decided to eat inside, however there is also a shaded outside eating area. The food was delicious and everything was very high quality. Very satisfying visit, I highly recommend this location 🍔👍

The burgers are fresh big, juicy and seem natural. Don't go here a lot so I was kind of surprised at how good they were. I got a lettuce wrap burger and curly fries. It was messy to eat but high quality.

I was traveling with my partner to Stinson Beach and we just really wanted a burger. After visiting and having a good time, we looked up a burger place on our route heading back to Chico and came across Phyllis Giant Burger. We ordered and ate and had a good time. Even had a casual conversation with a family there. So sweet and kind. We had never been there before and it was amazing! They are also very understanding people.

The burgers were delicious and the setting is unique! Would get 5 stars but I don't think Phyllis was there. That would've pushed this place into the stratosphere.

Ordered door dash and love a good turkey burger- clearly I didn’t get. Good turkey burger- no seasoning- was very disappointed

Love supporting local businesses. So I was excited to try this place. Food looked great with generous portions. My medium rare burger was raw and the onion rings had multiple hairs in the container.
