Fantastic discovery. They also have an entire vegan menu, packed with super delicious and tasty items. Homemade vegan cheeses and unrefined flours. Amazing! High-quality food, super pleasant location, and friendly staff. Super inclusive and forward-thinking. I can't wait to come back to try more!
Tried it today, super happy they have a full vegan menu, in line with the changing times...thank goodness!!! To protect the planet and other living beings, as well as to better nourish ourselves. Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the location was lovely. I'll be back and highly recommend it!
Absolutely worth a try. The staff is super attentive and friendly. They provide thorough explanations of the dishes and what you order. We tried vegan cuisine for the first time, and everything was delicious. The salted caramel cheesecake was exceptional. I returned to the restaurant with a friend, and I have to adjust my rating regarding the service. The girl who served us had no knowledge of the dishes, or whether smoking was allowed in the garden area. The quality of the food, however, is always excellent.
Great food, also the drinks and very friendly people. Highly recommended. A guy named Luca is absolutely amazing!! See you again guys ❣️
Excellent tasty vegan foods - lots of options and all served with a smile :)
Innovative food and nice atmosphere
Hug bistro surprised me for the variety of homemade, healthy ingredients and products and for their attention for sustainability and accessibility for everyone as everything is vegan and almost everything is gluten free and sugar free. I was mostly impressed by their cheese options, they have so many and all of them made with different nuts such as cashews, macadamia nuts or almonds etc. I'll come back as soon as possible to try every single product, made my day ❤️ I had "Fagottini" as starter, a sort of fried empanada filled with black beans, herb cheese and batata with Sichuan pepper then a "Yoghi", this original sandwich (even though they call it focaccia) made with chestnut flour, BIO corn flour and charcoal, stuffed with pears caramelized in mirin and coconut sugar, the sauce which was a bit spicy but delicious made with carrots, dehydrated tomatoes, cauliflower and vegan cheese with herbs and lettuce. In the end I had to try the dessert and I chose winter version "Tiramis-hug", with a base of cookies and coffee and two different types of creams, one with pumpkin and mascarpone cheese and the other one was vegan Nutella. The only critique I could do is the lack of fruit juices, I imagine they have so many things to prepare and to think about but I had to take a cola (bio obviously) because kombucha was finished even if I'd prefer something more refreshing and natural.
I went there for dinner last night. As a non-vegan, I really enjoyed the dishes, so much so that I was unsure what to choose because almost all of them appealed to me. The place is nice and quiet. Only the area is a bit inconvenient for parking... For an appetizer, I had the "mozzarella in carrozza" (fried mozzarella), which I liked, more for the textures of the breading (nice and crunchy) and the imitation mozzarella (nice and stringy) than for the flavor (very delicate). I also tried the stuffed olives (like Ascolana olives), and these were very good and flavorful, recommended for non-vegans because the difference is imperceptible. Then I tried two different stuffed focaccias and I really liked both: the one with fried smoked tofu (flavorful) and the one with figs (more delicate). I perhaps preferred the latter, but they were both good, in fact, I'd buy them again. I was also intrigued by one of the burgers, which I'll definitely order next time. Finally, I tried some desserts, which for me are the highlight of vegan cuisine: the salted pistachio cheesecake (delicious, truly delicious), the one with vegan Nutella I tried at a friend's and it was probably even better (next time I'll have the whole one, haha), and the caramel bavarois was good, but after the cheesecake, I thought it tasted a bit different and seemed too salty. I'll try it on its own. The bill was a little higher than usual, but I almost never order an appetizer, main course, and dessert, so that's understandable. The slightly more expensive thing are the desserts, which are €7 each. The vegans I was with were thrilled and want to come back to try other dishes, and I'll gladly join them!
Incredible food and service. Many options - all vegan. I had lunch and then ordered a takeaway to eat for dinner.
Had the Joker burger. Messy, delicious.
One of my favorite restaurant, all cooked and prepared with their own production plant based. Simply amazing!!
It's was really nice!!
Nice place with tasty and high quality burgers well presented, a must stop in monza.
Very nice place, good food!
This place will fill you into eating cheese and other non vegan foods while in reality it's all vegan. Health and love people, health and love.
Pure food best place for Lunch & Diner ! All kinds of Religions can eats.
I hadn't been to Hug in years, and in fact, I hadn't realized it's now located on a different street and merged with Turné. The girl explained to us that it was a collaborative idea to offer both an animal-based and a completely plant-based menu. Hug's menu is full of creative and tasty recipes. My friends and I tried the mixed appetizers: I had the Nemo burger, they had the pizzoccheri, and then the cheese-fakes and the tiramisu. Being vegan already earns 1,000 points, but I wanted to point out a few very small changes to improve the quality and flavor of the dishes served: the appetizers were very good; the Nemo burger had too much mayonnaise, so much that you couldn't taste the other ingredients; the pizzoccheri were good; the cheese-fakes were too cold/frozen and you couldn't taste the "cheese" part. The rest of the prices were considerable, but in 2025, everything costs a lot in any restaurant or venue, and for such a lavish dinner, that's perfectly reasonable. Thank you for your kindness and friendliness. It was a wonderful evening and a great place to eat with non-vegans and let them sample these wonderful dishes.
I went there for dinner on a Friday night. I wanted to try the Sicilian caponata, which was recommended as the main course. What I liked most was the spicy sauce they used. The caponata wasn't bad, but in my personal opinion, it wasn't very flavorful. The other dishes served by the people I ate were also a bit bland. I expected a little more flavor in all the dishes. I was disappointed by the lack of many desserts. In the end, I ordered a Nutella cheesecake, and I didn't like it. The place is nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly, and the service is prompt. The prices aren't cheap, but they're reasonable. Personally, I wouldn't go back, but I recommend trying it at least once.
