Amazing food, great service, and a table in the bay window. 100% will be coming again and would recommend. We were going to head to the pub across the street but this place caught our eye. The owner was so kind and even gave us recommendations for a tire shop! Steak frites and truffle fries were delish! Plus they had amazing puree passionfruit martinee and desserts! Highly recommend👍 Pretty affordable considering the great quality of food.

We love to come here for brunch sitting outside in the lovely shaded patio. Our consistent favorites are the polenta cake benedict and the V huevos rancheros with corn waffles. Both are delicious! Service is always great and very friendly.

One of my favorite restaurants. The truffle fries and the espresso martini are my favorites but everything else is good too.

Excellent lunch. Salmon Bernaise was very good, perfectly cooked, just tangy enough sauce and killer crispy polenta. And it was a beautiful day to sit outside!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here for my birthday, never been before. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the chicken Marsala and my boyfriend had the steak. We were both blown away! Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and good portions. And the food came out so fast! And BOY the staff!! SO friendly :) it was an amazing experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here! We loved it so much for dinner, we came again for breakfast the next day and lunch!! Amazing cocktails, wonderful vegetarian options, and such sweet service! We really felt cared for and appreciated, everyone is so friendly and they quickly started to remember us!! We loved how friendly everyone was here, lots of local people come in, so you know its really good and not just a tourist spot. This is a must go location, and we can't wait to celebrate our anniversary here, and are looking forward to coming back to town and eating here at least a few times then <3

Today our family went for lunch and took our 2 dogs with us. Super friendly staff, delicious food and all the other guest were wonderful as well. We have been here a few times now and always a good time. They also have a doggie menu as well. We will see you again.

Outstanding meal (brunch), outstanding service, lovely location! Our party of 6 ended up here accidentally and it was a fantastic experience! As we finished our meal we all said that we’d happily return and that we’d eagerly send other people to eat here. My only note is that the restaurant’s branding (logo and menu cover) has kind of a 90s Italian retro vibe and really didn’t give us an accurate idea of the type of restaurant. We decided to give it a go in spite of that branding and thank goodness we did. It is a thousand times better than its branding implies! Everything about our meal and experience was excellent. Definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond, rearranging our table to feel more intimate since a few in our party couldn’t make it. It was such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for the evening. Matthew was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. He had fantastic recommendations from the menu (clearly knows it well!) and delivered everything with the perfect balance of professionalism and charm. He made us laugh, made us feel at home, and truly elevated the entire dining experience. Matthew is a gem and a great representative of the restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back!

V Restaurant was a wonderful surprise in the heart of downtown Murphys. The servers were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make the meal enjoyable. The food was outstanding, with every dish prepared beautifully and full of flavor. The prices were also very reasonable and the portions very large, which made it an excellent value for fine dining. We really appreciated that they had a bistro menu and a fine dining menu and were equally happy for us to order from either one. We will absolutely come back the next time we are in the area!

If you haven't lived a life, treat yourself by indulging in a multi-faceted menu, fully diverse weekly rotating fine dining options. This place packs it in for a good reason... the food is excellent! Hats off to the staff and management, really can't miss with this fine dining/ casual establishment.

My sister and I stopped in on a recent trip not totally sure what to expect and we were both pleasantly surprised. We chose to sit on the patio, it was a beautiful morning, and we opted to share the mimosa flight, which was blood orange, pineapple, mango and prickly pear. Marvelous selection, mango and blood orange were the faves. I got the corned beef hash with a side of their *absolutely devine* hollandaise sauce. The meal was very tasty without it but adding that just made it 10x better. My sister got the cinnamon waffle. It was delicious as well. The whole meal was exceptional and I'm looking forward to returning.

The food and service was so good!! The portions were VERY generous (especially the brussel sprouts and pear salad). We got an order of the special creamy florentine pasta and it was crazy delicious. It was a busy night for the restaurant but all the staff were calm, gracious and attentive. Wonderful experience!!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. We were seated quickly and ordered some cocktails and a mocktail, all were made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. My husband got the steak, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked and the truffle fries were amazing. I got the salmon, which was also cooked perfectly and was fresh and delicious. Our server Matt was excellent, he was attentive and jovial. The house-made desserts are absolutely worth saving room for, we had the black forest parfait and it was a chocolate lovers dream. We will definitely be back for more.

Definitely one of the better places to eat in Murphy's California. All very fresh and tasty, with a nice selection on the menu. The waiter was amicable with a good sense of humor. Our four meals all arrived at the same time and they were as described and cooked to order. Did not get the chance to order dessert or pastries which they are held in high esteem but the burger and the duck salad and the cheese platter we're all very good.

My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger, but it struggled enjoying my steak frite. The fries were amazing, and the drinks were delicious. Nice atmosphere.

I really wanted to like this spot. It was recommended by a family member. Nice atmosphere, great location. My veggie burger and soup was top notch. The mac & cheese was nice too. But my wife’s chicken sandwich was quite bad. Super hard chicken, difficult to cut with a knife. After showing it to the server we were given a slight 10% discount. $16 is way too much to pay for a sandwich that is practically inedible. And we had to try multiple times to wave down servers to get their attention once the food had been served. I understand that people get in the weeds, but at least acknowledge us as you walk by, so you know if we need something.

Wonderful lunchtime specialty cocktails and delicious meals. I had the Spinach Salad, my friends had the Steak and Pasta Special. Nothing was left. Our server Jenny was a kick!

We’ve been here twice before and it was quite good. Two evenings ago was a much different experience. Carrot soup: I think the carrots were replaced with salt. Swordfish, if it was, was covered with sauce with lukewarm warm rice. Very sloppy presentation and all for $40+. Negroni however was very tasty.

No idea what the food is like. Standing in a line outside with no hostess there to see us or tell us how long it’s going to be. TOld is that it’s too expensive to have a hostess. And NO we could not just walk in even though there were tables available. Told to wait outside with other 12 or so people, who also wondered when they would be seated. Very correct- you are not the French Laundry or any other properly run restaurant. When you screw up, apologize rather than getting snotty
