Being our first time here I wasn't really sure what they had but knew we'd find something good to eat. Got seated right away outside at a 4 seat high top but should've been a 2 seater anyways we made it work! Even before our waiter got here another guy brought us out some popcorn. Kind of old but nice touch, Started out with the grouper bites and they were really tasty, fresh and came with tartar sauce however I think cocktail sauce might've been a better choice. Get them ! Everyone got the meatloaf , burger and coconut shrimp. The meatloaf was really good, huge size and only needed more gravy. The veggies were very good also. And the onion straws on top were a great addition. The burger was super ! Big, juicy and seasoned and cooked just right. The beef tallow fries were cooked perfectly and if you've never had beef tallow fries you don't know what you're missing! The coconut shrimp were giant, and not overcooked and definitely not overbreaded to make them look bigger! Plus being butterflied really gave it a classy look. We also got the brussels sprouts which were great and a side of truffle fries. Their cole slaw leaves something to be desired. But it was more of a garnish than a side. All in all it was really a great time, great food and great laughs !
Upscale casual is how I would describe The 239 Naples. We got here when they opened at 11:30 and it filled up quickly! Terri was still in breakfast mode and ordered The 239 Breakfast with eggs, toast, bacon, and brussel potatoes...the bacon and brussels potatoes were top notch and the toast was a step up from the ordinary as well. She didn't let me try the eggs but they must've been good! The Double Burger I ordered was reportedly voted the best in SouthWest Florida so that's why I went with it...I can't say it was the best Burger I've ever eaten but I can probably say its probably the healthiest Double Burger I've ever eaten...with the reputation of The 239 being a farm to table, organic, healthy option establishment I'd wager it was. It was very good and I'd definitely order it again. The Better Than Beignets were outta site! Crispy exterior and hot and fluffy inside..matched up with the Caramel Toffee dipping sauce recommended by Jeremy, our server, they were fantastic!
Outstanding experience thanks to Josh at Restaurant 239! Our visit to Restaurant 239 in Naples was exceptional, and a huge part of that was Josh. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he offered great recommendations, explained dishes perfectly, and timed everything flawlessly. Josh struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail elevated an already fantastic dining experience. You can tell he truly cares about guests and takes pride in what he does. Thank you
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All 5 stars for this place! The food and service were excellent. We sat outside with our dog, and one of the waitresses kindly brought water for him, which was a really nice touch. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. He was very friendly and polite and didn’t even want us—or anyone else—to know he was the owner, which says a lot about his character. Overall, great food and great service. Highly recommend The 239 at Mercato!
Hands down the best lunch deal in Naples. The $19.99 special is an absolute steal for the quality of food and the chic atmosphere. Portions were generous, the service was top-notch, and you can’t beat the 239 vibe. Highly recommend if you want a high-end lunch without the high-end price tag.
Pricey, but good food and drinks. Enjoyed the coconut shrimp (quite large). Happy hour does have options! 100% beachy vibes but not by the water - space to sit inside or out. Staff friendly & service fast.
Had a great experience at The 239! JP is great, and so on top of it with recommendations and service! We came for happy hour and tried multiple items, including drinks, and we were happy with all of it. Especially love that they don’t use seed oils, as I don’t eat them, which makes it difficult to eat out. The house made ranch is so fresh, and was a huge hit at our table.
Great food, great service (Katie G!), and great location! I'm the one with celiac in my group so I was happy to find a place that was well-reviewed that could accommodate me. The benyays were delicious (we ordered with white chocolate sauce), the drinks were good, and the eggs benedict plate was fantastic, even on GF toast. All the dishes had really great flavors. Our server Katie made really great recommendations and made us feel like everything - from the drinks to the dishes - could be tailored to us. I really appreciated her suggestions and she was on point with every single one. We sat indoors and the outside seating area also looked like it was manageable despite the heat.
First time trying this restaurant. Porter was an amazing server, super helpful, and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything was. The brussels sprouts added bacon was such a good appetizer. We came for happy hour so of course we tried things off of this menu, I highly recommend the Beef Tallow Truffle Fries. We will definitely be back again.
This is a great restaurant and also has a diverse menu for gf diets. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Zach did a great job waiting on us and educating us on all the dishes and drinks. We’ll definitely be back!
Dinner at 239 Naples in Mercato last night did not disappoint! The food was outstanding—a gluten-free lover’s dream! We had the cheeseburger on a GF bun (so good), and I went for the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. It wasn’t what I expected, but in the best way possible—rich, flavorful, and comforting. Our waiter, Justin, was awesome—turns out he’s from back home in Philly, which made it extra fun. And let’s talk about the beignets… covered in pink sugar with caramel sauce? Absolutely insane. We heard the restaurant will be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and we can totally see why. We sat outside surrounded by lush greenery, and the whole vibe was perfect. Even a cute little photo op area. Highly recommend if you’re in Naples!
I have dined twice at 239 Naples, and it has become one of my top choices! The moment we were seated, water and complimentary popcorn were served along with our menus. I follow a plant based diet. 239 not only fulfills with the bowl pictured below, but it is also nutritionally balanced with quinoa and brown rice complimenting the vegetables. After speaking with Juan, I learned that all produce is locally sourced and 239 has a gluten free kitchen! No matter what your dietary restrictions may be or not be, this restaurant delivers. Bon appetite ⭐️
Five Stars – A Must-Visit in Naples! As a New Yorker, I’m used to a fast-paced dining experience, and I usually have to adjust when visiting Florida—but not at Naples 239. From the moment we arrived, Porter made us feel right at home. He greeted us warmly, seated us promptly, and had our drinks on the table in no time. Porter wasn’t just efficient—he was personable, engaging, and genuinely elevated our entire experience. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-tier! If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend Naples 239—and if you’re lucky enough to have Porter as your server, you’re in for an even better experience. Absolutely amazing all around!!
We had some great recommendations for The 239 in Mercato so we finally checked it out. Safe to say we were not disappointed! The vibes here are great, we came for lunch and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is delicious, we both got burgers and I got mine as part of the 3 course lunch deal. With that I also got a delicious ceviche and a sweet key lime cheesecake. They have some great healthy options and we highly recommend you check this place out!
JP was an amazing server! The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. He gave us recommendations and the drinks came quick! We enjoyed our time here. Thank you JP!
We went here after being here last week and going to one of the neighboring restaurants, and seeing their menu, enticed me to come back being the foodie that I am and it did not disappoint from the time we walked in the door, every person that we had an interaction with couldn’t have been any nicer We popped in during their happy hour, which I have to say was definitely one of the better happy hours that I have been to. That’s some nice drink choices. They’re well liquor, which is typical when you do happy hour drink drinks was not by any means bottom barrel. We both got two extra dirty martinis. They have blue cheese olives, which is always a plus it’s not always available at every place, but they did have them here. They were well made didn’t feel like they made them weak and then the food menu that they had for the happy hour was again my opinion one of the best I mean, we got a full-size short rib burger that during happy hour was nine dollars probably the best nine dollar burger I’ve ever had. We got meatballs two orders because the first order was so good that we won another one. These are better than the meatballs are getting in an actual Italian place. The meatball itself was delicious the sauce. I don’t know if it was homemade but it tasted homemade fresh shredded Parmesan cheese absolutely amazing Wings ironically enough I like wings I did ask for them extra extra crispy and I asked for them with the hot flavor they gave me exactly what I wanted hot extra extra crispy, but it was kind of weird because they weren’t very saucy but after you ate the first one, you could feel the heat so very good did the grouper shrimp ceviche wow some of the best ceviche I’ve had I’ve never had grouper ceviche first off, but this was really good. Then we got the truffle fries and beef tallow. These are like eating crack version of french fries they were so good. I was rubbing my finger around the plate after the french fries were eaten All And just licking the cheese off the plate so amazing and the ambience is just so unique I mean, it’s it’s just cool. I can’t even describe it and the food as we were ordering. It came out super quick and like I said everybody here from the folks that seated us to Juan who is our waiter and the most attentive to us he did an amazing job. I would definitely request him if I went back so if you have not been here till the 239 Naples, go check it out you won’t be disappointed.
As Tabitha Brown would say "Very GOOD " and it was. I stopped in my tracks because I saw local but then Im glad I did because it all went well. The server I had, Porter, was great to have. He was actually very patient, accomodating, and pleasant(smiling, talking, laughing) ... above and beyond..I was there for a while continued to on me but wasnt pushy. He shared a little about the restaurant/partners and any question I had was answered. Bathrooms were clean and so was the place. The food, you can actually taste the difference and its not in an unpleasant way. If you want to support local, want fresh food, or youre trying to make better health choices, possibly want a "cheat meal" where you wont feel guilty or shame...this is the place...it comes with good service and complimentary popcorn (lol). Also, there is merchandise in case you like things like that. Thank you Porter ..genuinely appreciated.
Great place!!! Seed oil free - love the food. Meatloaf is the bomb. Burgers and fries are top shelf too. I am picky on fries and their fries are the best I have had in Naples so far.
The restaurant's decor and ambiance were top notch. The food was fast and and delicious, the surprise were crispy fries where the seasoning actually stays on the fries. Loved that!! The cocktail on the list were fun, tasty!!! Nice craft and local beers as well. Our server Emily was awesome, we will be back just for her!! Very knowledgeable of the menu, and made sure to check with the kitchen due to myself and my guest allergies. Which was very appreciative. Check this place out!! Love that the happy hour starts at...you guess it 2:39!!!!
This place is so fun! We went to brunch on Saturday morning. The Mercado is a great place to spend a day. Parking can be a challenge, but so much to walk around and see! The chicken sandwich was EXCELLENT! Light and crispy and just the right size. The coleslaw on it was perfect. They have unlimited mimosas. Highly recommend! The outdoor space was shaded, and the overall vibe was fun.
All the service was amazing. The food was delicious and ethically source. The atmosphere was fun and vibe. Me and my mom are on a road trip collecting merchandise from each stop Eric, bought me a hat to commemorateour experience
We had Josh for our server! He was polite, attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and history of the restaurant. You can tell he loves working at 239.
I’ve been here several times and keep coming back! I love the variety of healthy food options as well as the lunch and happy hour specials at 239 Naples. I just stopped by for a quick bite and got the Brussel sprouts, $8 happy hour special. The food and service is always great! Today my server was Porter, who was excellent.
Had an awesome dinner at 239 Naples in Mercato. The vibe was great and the food came out fast and tasted amazing. Our server Porter was the best part of the night—super friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and made the whole experience better. You can tell he really cares and enjoys what he does. Definitely ask for him if you go! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for good food, good service, and a solid night out.
Excellent service and food! They worked with our food allergies too! So helpful. Loved the Brussel sprouts, shrimp, and grouper bites! Atmosphere is really nice! Popcorn on the table was a fun surprise.
Our first visit to this trendy casual and hip restaurant. All of us were super pleased with the amazing flavors of all the dishes we had- including the popcorn as an appetizer Kudos to the chef! Our server Charlotte was super sweet and if you get her ask her about the meaning of her full name. If you like Kombucha- get the ginger it was delicious and so refreshing on a warm night. The best part about the concept is local local local food! The manager was walking around making sure everyone was being taken care of in a timely fashion. Be sure to make reservations. Again, the flavors were on point! we felt the prices were very reasonable too.
Great gluten free options! Servers are helpful and knowledgeable. We like this place as an option that has something good for everyone!
This was our first time at 239 and our experience was great! Our server JP was very accommodating. He made our experience wonderful. Great food. Great staff. We will be back. Thanks 239! Glad to have ended our year with you!
Food is delicious and restaurant was jam-packed. We went with 2 couples and 4 children and loved every single bite we had! Highly recommend! Rebecca our server was literally running to take care of all her tables.
Josh was absolutely amazing! He was so accommodating, attentive, and truly made our experience pleasant from start to finish. Everything felt easy and enjoyable because of him. While I’m sure all the servers are great, I would definitely recommend asking for Josh if you get the chance. He went above and beyond and made our visit even better.
Had a great time here, my wife and I both got the burger which was terrific. This place doesn’t use any seed oils which is definitely a plus worth knowing. Our server Josh was great as well as accommodating, would definitely return next time we’re in town.
Well a few things to start with I am a heterosexual man, but my server Andres was delightful.. His recommendations left me satisfied. If you know what I mean. Do yourself a favor and ask for Andres, you will not leave disappointed. Also, the coconut shrimp was delicious.
It was our first time at 239 and we had JP serving us. He was incredible. Gave us his recommendations, answered any questions we made had and checked up on the table a perfect amount. Would definitely come back and would be happy to be served by JP again!
Our bachelorette party had a wonderful time and amazing experience here! Katie G went above and beyond as a waitress for our group and truly made this a memorable experience. We had multiple different allergy and dietary restrictions that Katie and the team tackled here with complete ease! Katie gave fantastic recommendations, put rubber duckies in our cocktails, and made us feel so special. Would highly recommend this be your new favorite spot!
Josh was so great tonight! I have celiac and he was well versed on the whole menu and made me feel comfortable that it was a safe place to eat at. Food and drinks were fabulous! Highly recommend the 239!!
JP was awesome! Great recommendations! Food was great and how could anyone resist truffle fries that used beef tallow?!! Everything on the menu is EITHER gluten free or can be made gluten free for the most part. Along with using healthy oils and clean sourced meat & vegetables, the dishes have wonderful flavor! What a treat to eat here!
Fun spot for lunch. Great service -- Friendly and attentive, very helpful with recommendations. I had the grouper bites and they were wonderful, lightly battered and served with a tasty house made tartar sauce. My wife had the 239 salad and was very satisfied with it. Fun decor and atmosphere. We shared an order of the beignets and they were worth the splurge.
We went for a girls’ brunch and had a blast! Our server Katie was wonderful, very attentive, knowledgeable and explained menu items perfectly along with her recommendations. She is a sweetheart born for the hospitality. Food and presentation (and minosas) were great - had BLT sandwiches, teriyaki bowl and beignets. I would highly recommend. Merry Christmas!
Andres was an amazing bartender. He was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience better with his great energy. He knew exactly what he was doing, made delicious drinks, and was quick without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. I would definitely come back and hope he’s working again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bella was incredible! I had an amazing experience thanks to Bella. From the moment she greeted us, she was friendly, attentive, and truly on top of everything. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked and made the whole meal feel easy and enjoyable. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. Service like hers is rare these days, and she absolutely deserves the recognition. If you’re dining here, ask for Bella—you won’t be disappointed!
If you do nothing else in this town, it's come here and have Andres make you an old fashion. I've had plenty of drinks in my life that were good but this was great, fantastic really. Maybe it was the barrel age or maybe it was the conversations with our server Andres but great evening here. Oh and try the grouper nuggets, delicious!!!
239 is my favorite restaurant in Naples. Everything I have ordered is delicious. My favorites are the margarita, burger, beef tallow fries, Brussels Sprouts, and key lime cheesecake. I am gluten free, and I love that everything on the menu is either gluten free or can be made gluten free. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and be able to order anything off the menu. Even if you aren’t gluten free, you will enjoy the food and atmosphere. I also love that they try to buy food from local farmers.
Delicious food and our server, Andres was AMAZING! I'm very indecisive and he took the time to walk me through all the options without rushing me. I ended up going with the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and the ginger teriyaki bowl as my main dish, both were 10/10. I also love that they never use seed oils and opt for olive oil, coconut oil, or grass-fed beef tallow, such a big win in my book!! If you're in the area, I definitely recommend popping in and asking for Andres! Will be back, great experience 😊
For the price overall this place is average. Our table had burgers and chicken sand-which’s and while the burgers were pretty decent but quite pricy the chicken sand-which was laughable…it came out with what looked like a chicken tender for the filet, the smallest I have ever seen before at a restaurant. I will say that the manager was quick to fix the issue and bring a new piece of chicken but I’m surprised a cook would think that was acceptable to use for a sandwhich that cost twenty bucks… The tomatoes on all the sandwhiches were very mushy and thin, the popcorn tasted stale, and the blue cheese dressing was very watered down. That said the fries, rest of the burgers, sides and sauce for the chicken sandwhich were pretty good but just on the pricy side for what you get. Cool spot and the staff were nice and I like what they are trying to do without using seed oils. Hopefully they can tighten up on their quality issues.
First time here and we tried a bunch of different dishes. Flatbread pizza was just ok, wouldn’t order again. Grouper bites were delicious but only a few on the plate (especially for the price). The carbonara with grilled chicken was good, Brussels sprouts were too sweet. The Caesars salad was very good. Then the Ben-YAY’s were amazing. The service was great as well.
We used to absolutely love this place. We would even go out of our way to come here, and we live all the way in Punta Gorda. Unfortunately, Valentine’s Day was a complete mess. It honestly felt like opening night — like nobody knew what was going on. We could hear a man with an earpiece, who appeared to be a manager, give away our food to another table. He was asking the couple behind us if the food was theirs, and we had to step in and say, “Hi, we also ordered that.” It was awkward and frustrating. Our waitress came by multiple times asking, “Oh, you didn’t get your food yet?” for dishes we were still waiting on. It just added to the confusion. We were seated directly in the sun. I completely understand reservations and busy holidays — I’ve worked at this exact restaurant before — but the umbrellas could have at least been set up and ready. We ended up trying to move them ourselves, which isn’t safe, and no one stopped to help us for about 20 minutes. My boyfriend even had to ask for a rose — we were never offered one. The whole night just felt off. When the bill came, it was shocking considering the quality. The steak was unseasoned, the vegetables were undercooked, and the food was warm at best — not hot. The “crispy” chicken wings didn’t even look fully cooked. We did express our concerns to our waitress, Marykate. Both my boyfriend and I mentioned that we weren’t happy with certain dishes, but it felt like our comments were brushed off, as if we were just sharing opinions rather than genuine complaints. She honestly seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Getting a refill was nearly impossible, and when we did, it was poured over melted ice. Overall, this was such a disappointment. We’ve had amazing experiences here in the past — easily 10/10 — which makes this even more surprising. Sadly, this visit was a 1/10. Barely any popcorn was offered, and the “ garlic bread “ is literally white bread with garlic powder on it it tastes like. Very very uncrispy wings pictured
I’ve eaten here over 20+ times and it’s one of my favorite spots. The few times I’ve gotten takeout, haven’t been impressed but decided to give it another try today. Definitely won’t be ordering takeout from here. Not sure if there’s a different part of the restaraunt making the food or there’s no quality check before giving the food away. The food was terrible. The chicken was so dry, old & overcooked, it was hard to bite into. There was 4 small pieces that honestly just looked like leftovers. The fries were okay, soggy and there was more fries than chicken. The coleslaw was in 2 little condiment containers and also dry and old tasting. Disappointed because it’s usually great here but definitely won’t be getting or recommending takeout from here.
We were excited to try this place, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the start. After being seated, it took so long for anyone to acknowledge us that we honestly started wondering if it was a joke—like we were being punked or the staff had a bet on how long we’d wait. When someone finally came over for drink orders, we were randomly given popcorn with no explanation. The drinks eventually arrived, and mine was easily the worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. At that point, we decided it wasn’t worth staying. We paid for our drinks and left to find somewhere else to eat. Definitely not the experience we expected.
Food is subpar warmed up frozen food. We ordered the grouper bites - never got them. Ordered bottomless Bloody Marys - the same cup was used and refilled with warm juice and a ton of unidentifiable chunky bits, no vodka. The huevos rancheros had a whole can of non-rinsed cold gelatinous black beans dumped Willy nilly on the plate. Two of us ordered crab cake sandwiches and got the crab cake appetizer instead which was gluten free, severely dry with crab shells in it. When the waiter finally appeared, we told him we got the wrong thing he just looked at us and did not know what to do - no suggestions offered. We said we would just eat them but would like the REGULAR fries. We received a plate of rewarmed fries that were partly regular and partly truffle oiled. It was clear these fries were from other tables just thrown on a plate spitefully. Water never refilled- we had to beg the waiter for water. A member of our party joined us late - the waiter did not acknowledge her and did not ask her if she wanted anything. Restroom was in dire straights with the Wallpaper pealing off in DROVES and seemed to be a health and safety issue. Hostesses did not acknowledge us - we arrived 15 min early for our reservation, it was not busy but we were told to leave and come back at our reserved time. When we came back the hostess asked if we still wanted to sit inside although nobody requested this. Popcorn was soggy - probably from the tears of our waiter realizing he made a very poor career choice. In closing, we are pleading that the visitor bureau of Naples realizes the severity of our horrific experience and the tarnish this restaurant puts on the Naples restaurant scene.
The menu offered enough variety for our group, but the service was inattentive at best. My plant-based bowl arrived with undercooked sweet potatoes. When I mentioned it, I was brought a second serving, which was also not fully cooked. After reporting this, the server said, “I’ll tell the manager,” but there was no follow-up, discussion, or accommodation, despite the fact that I was unable to eat the dish. The beignets were nothing special and extremely overpriced. Although sauces were offered to accompany them, we were later charged separately. As a result, five small dough puffs cost $21—more than desserts at many fine-dining restaurants. Their only distinction seemed to be that they were advertised as recommended by Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We had to ask for basic condiments like ketchup, and the salads were under-dressed. When we requested more dressing, we were given a half-filled small cup. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we will not be returning
