the lady bartender is an angel sent from heaven, truly one of a kind, been here twice and will absolutely be back again. outstanding service, certainly did not go unnoticed. she might be god reincarnated.
I went here for a private party on the second floor. It was a great time and it was a comfortable space. Sometimes bars are so cramp, but this had room to move around and dance. They had the Yankee game on a large TV. Good price for open bar in NYC.
Hit this place up before a show at the Comedy Cellar for dinner and drinks. We ate too much, but it was really tasty. The cauliflower wings were probably my favorite food item. We also played a couple games of beer pong, which topped the experience off. Very cool bar and just a fun experience (plus the drinks are cheaper than at the comedy club 😉).
Gabi & ruby were some of the most fun, interesting, and genuinely good human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with In my entire life. I couldn’t recommend this place more if they paid me. If you find yourself in Greenwich do yourselves a favor and stop by here you will not regret it.
People say this chain is typical. I am disagree- it’s more NY than you think. The prices are right for you to take advantage of all week. Does the job in almost every way
Don't overlook this longstanding west 4th staple! The post covid crowd here seems more mature and the taps are good as always. Staff was really friendly. Went on an early Friday afternoon, lots of people headed upstairs to play pong, beer pitchers, etc. Highly recommend for low key bar!
Lively music and great prices. Cocktails were $8 and made well. Has two floors so can accommodate a good amount of people. Good place to hang out before a standup show
Love the atomsphere and coziness, the food delicious and beautiful display. The staff and manager, Evan were catering to our needs with a welcoming smile! Music entertaining..love it will visit again!!
Went here to watch the Celtics game and had an absolute blast! Amazing deals at the bar! The servers were 10 out of 10.
Emily is honestly phenomenal! I highly recommend hanging out here! Free games and the service is amazing!
I had an allergic reaction here to food I ate elsewhere but the employees were so nice and I’m fine now! Thanks for the care and concern
Came here for Bachelorette Bingo from out of town and had the best time! $5 beers and $8 wine. Every dish we ordered was super good and prices are very reasonable. We were very welcomed and would definitely return!
My best friend and I came back here for the first time since lockdown today (it was our old haunt), and everything feels the same as before. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, the food is really tasty, and the drinks are mad affordable and well-made. This was my favorite spot to hang out at in this neighborhood before the pandemic, and it still feels the same now. Highly recommend it!
The place was amazing, we went last Friday to celebrate my sisters birthday (finally 21) our bartender (Rudy) was amazing. The atmosphere he created for us was very welcoming and professional. Def someone you want to keep to build a business. Oh and he pours a great jack and coke
Divey in the best way. Lots of beers, wine, and liquor available. Lots of space to to bring a big group. All of the staff are really friendly too. Had great interactions with each member of the staff and will consider this spot for a late night after a nice dinner in the village
Super fun, great music and love being able to play pong
Employees makes anyone from locals to out-of-staters feel welcome, on top of monitoring drinks, makes atmosphere feel safe, engaging in conversation, keeps us entertained and wanting more!!! Love all of you! And we WILL be back.
So fun! My company rented the upstairs space for our holiday Christmas party, and the service and food were phenomenal!! Downstairs they kept open for the public and we found ourselves going down there too because the music was so great. We danced all night and had the best time. Good crowd of people and great drinks! Definitely recommend for a friday night!
The place to go to party. Bar is located in a favorite area of NYC. Rudy, Gabe, and Emmey are great. Very welcoming and friendliest of bartenders. Couldn’t ask for more when out socializing. Thanks for the party! See you soon.
Service so consistently good I *had* to ask why. Turns out there's heritage w/ mgmt and staff here around hiring awesome people and being fantastic w/ customers. It shows. Rarely write reviews, but it's clear this business goes out of its way to aspire & achieve a high mark, and they nail it. Not writing up a review in praise wouldn't feel right! Tremendous.
My wife and I were at Three Sheets Saloon last Monday night and had the best time with our bartender Gabe and had so much fun and decided to come back on Tuesday and had even more fun with our bartender Rudy. Definitely hit up this bar if you are in the area or catching a comedy show!
This is by far the best bar I‘ve been in my 3 months in 18 states. If everyone has everything under control and is as generous, kind, fast and overviewing like brian, then I‘ll have not a single con about this place. Fair prices, nice music and a good atmosphere
Went to the comedy cellar to catch a show and walked in here afterwards. Rudy and Gabe were amazing!!! Such friendly people and really made us feel at home and made our night really special! Would highly recommend going here if you’re in town!
Great spot for draft beers, shots, food and some sports. Always a fun environment with good music and amazing staff. What’s w4 without a stop at 3Sheets!
Awesome staff. Brian and Emily are top shelf behind the bar. Your glass is never empty on their watch
Had a great time for my friends bday. Guy by the name of Jeff, only moved to NY a week ago bought out table a round of shots and danced with my ladies mother before his wife said it was time for them to go. Bathrooms are at the top of the stairs and so is the action. Plenty of space for the number of people who wanted to dance. Service was awesome, waiter was friendly and funny, we'll definitely be going back.
The place to go if you want to catch some games while catching up with friends! Nice mix of regulars & tourists. Awesome bar food, great drinks & the staff always make you feel welcomed.
Awesome atmosphere. Great bar staff. Clean bathrooms. Great drinks. I was there on the 11th of March with my girlfriend and we had a great time so much so we left to walk around the village and came back. Happy hour rocks. Big recommendation here!!!
Rudy the Bar tender is awesome!!! He made are experience in NYC. He is friendly, personable and so much fun. We had the time if our life. I LOVE THIS BAR!!! Come visit Rudy you won't regret it. BEST BAR IN NYC.
Wow - I came back here almost three months later and still received the absolute BEST service. Better yet, RUDY was bartending and once again provided exceptional service. I cannot recommend this place enough. I have brought clients here and they absolutely love the place. Simply the BEST NYC bar experience. 10/10 will be back.
Good wings! Great bartenders! Overall, a great time.
While visiting NYC for the first time, we came across this bar on a rainy night the bartender Rudy was very welcoming, super cool guy. Other staff was nice as well. Rudy made some great shots!! The atmosphere was nice and chill. The food looked amazing although didn’t get to try any of it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good drinks, good atmosphere, good food, and an awesome staff!! Will be coming back anytime I’m in NYC again!! Thanks Rudy for the hospitality.
Stopped in for one drink on my way back to my hotel but wound up staying a lot longer & having such a fun night at 3 Sheets. The bartender Rudy was amazing (despite his major flaw of being a Red Sox fan) - the perfect combination of being entertaining and attentive without being intrusive. I'll seek this place out again when I come back to NYC.
We loved Nicky! She was the absolute best! Drinks are affordable and good, we spent hours here and it was one of the top highlights of our NYC trip--thank you Nicky! <3
Perfect NYC stop! Our server was upbeat and so much fun. The nachos were bomb and prices were not bad at all. Music was loud but such a great selection. I would totally come back!!
The bar of all bars; amazing food, specials and staff are 1000/10.
It was so refreshing to find a down to earth bar. The bartender was amazing, drinks were cheap and stiff. Great happy hour and daily deals. Will absolutely be back!
Had the absolute best time celebrating my birthday here thanks to Rudy, Aine, Brian and the rest of the 3 Sheets team. They made my party feel so welcome, and Rudy kept us in insanely high spirits all night. Can’t recommend this place or this team enough!!!! We’ll be back :)
Stopped in for a quick drink and the service (so mad I don't remember the bartenders name) was amazing, he was attentive, fast, gave us the specials and options. Ended up sitting for hours, the vibe was good. Will return at night, they have 2 floors of non stop fun and food I wasn't able to try but it looked amazing as it came out for other tables.
This place is everything you want from NY bar! Great happy hour, tasty food, and bumpin music. The bartender Rudy gave 10/10 service and made sure we were attended to at all points of the night. If you are there be sure to ask for Rudy, he truly is the best!
Went here with a few of my buddies on a nice Saturday. Our Bartender Rudy provided excellent service and created the best environment for us to enjoy ourselves. Accordingly, we will be back often.
Had a good time. They're drink special of the day is ez in the pockets. Didn't get food but a plate of nachos floated by me that made me take a mental note to order them next time. Shot out to Gigi. Service with a smile all night. Loved her. 💗
10/10 love the people here. Best happy hour in the city for sure. Drink specials every night too
Great place for a quick beer and great wings. Upstairs big screen TVs and a bar, downstairs bar with music.
The place was really nice the staff was very friendly and the food was decent!
This was my first time coming back to 3 Sheets after the pandemic…. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality service provided by Emily. Although the bar was packed, Emily was able to effectively and graciously assist thirsty patrons…. She’s without a doubt the best bartender or server I’ve come across in a while… She made me feel good about spending these $$$. Big ups to her and the old watering hole…. I will be back soon!!
Was just here with my friends and this place is a vibe and our bartender Gerard (spelling; I hope that was his name lol) was amazing. The sweetest guy. The DJ was also great. Will be back!
If you haven't been to this bar, you MUST go! One of the best bars in NYC. Bartender Brian is a great example of how to take care of everyone while making you feel like the most important person there. To visitors from the Midwest, he likes Clevelanders! So you are more than welcome to come see him!
We popped in here while we waited for our show to start at the comedy cellar. Great drink deals / happy hour. The bartender was great! Made us a great spicy watermelon shot. Thanks for the hospitality!
This is one of my most favorite places in New York. Nothing can match the vibe and the service inside. And cherry on top is the wonderful people working here, especially Rudy!! He is the absolute best!! His positivity and vibes always make the visit over here the best. Food is awesome, drinks are great, music is perfect and the atmosphere is always top notch. Just overall a wonderful experience every single time, can’t recommend enough.
Visited this bar recently and had an amazing time! The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating the perfect ambiance for a great night out. And let's not forget the drinks – they were absolutely delicious and expertly crafted. I'll definitely be returning to enjoy more wonderful evenings at this fantastic bar
My dad and I stumbled upon this hidden gem while visiting NYC. Right off the bat, the atmosphere was super inviting with great music and a full bar. Our bartender was awesome, he recommended great happy hour deals and a local whisky, which we loved. Great spot for any day of the week, with great deals and even greater service, highly recommend. Had to get a tee shirt to bring back home!
My friends and I come here often but most recently we came to keep the party going after a very saucy bottomless brunch. We love three sheets because upstairs they have the tables for beer pong/flip cup and I think they had 9 dollar pitchers for football Sunday amongst other deals. Great, fun spot!
Went here to watch the USA vs Whales world cup game yesterday. Food and drinks were standard. Good service. There were some brief auto/video issues but it was otherwise great so 4 stars.
Exactly like it's sister bars all owned by the same people. Go here for the drink specials. On Sunday we enjoyed half off pitchers ($12 for an IPA) and watched football! Games aren't broadcasted, and music is a bit loud. Gets packed and overall a good time!
Having held a large group event on their second floor it was an honor being able to have such a great time with non-distracting atmosphere & fantastic open bar deal! Plenty of activities available ranging from the multiple beer pong stations to the self stands for you and your friends to receive fun short pictures/ videos which can be instantly emailed to your personal email from the device.
Located right next door to the Fat Black Pussycat and Village Underground, Three Sheets is right in the mix of everything that takes place on West 3rd Street. College students, tradesmen, drifters and characters of all sorts congregate under one roof to have a good time and indulge in their favorite drinks, play beer pong and try to leave walking instead of stumbling. There is a dive feeling to the place which makes it feel even more authentic. The food menu is okay but as with any bar it is a supplement to the main product. If you're looking for a good time on a Friday or Saturday night where you can drink for a reasonable price and see some of the most unique people New York City has to offer, then this is the place for you.
This place is a lot of fun. It's a great spot for a happy hour after work, they have a lot of great deals. The bar has 2 floors. The upstairs also has a bar and tables for beer pong and other fun bar games. It's also pretty spacious. It can fit a lot of people and still not feel crowded. Overall it was a fun time and I definitely recommend coming
Saturday night was a bit crowded but the prices to drink were great. 6 dollar domesticate drafts. My bar tender was matt and he was very good at his job. We also had nachos. Which were massive and delicious. Seems like their week day specials are pretty decent happy hour lasts til 8 pm. Id go back.
I went here last night with some friends for a birthday party. The service was good- really friendly bartenders! They had beer pong tables upstairs, which was pretty fun! Great music and spacious- this is a good spot to hang with friends!
Great spot. Been coming here for years. The food / drink specials you can't beat in NYC. Great spot for gathering with friends or catching a game or just grabbing a drink & eats while in NYC. Def check it out.
A spot I've been to before and it's still cool. Love the drinks and food. The music is a little loud so it's hard to hear people around me. Good place. 8.5/10. They have drink specials so you can save $ that way. Food is $10-$20 so it depends.
Consistently decent service and food. They dont gouge you for drinks or food.
The girl who works here Niki is amazing. She said she poured strong drinks and I didn’t really believe her but once I was leaving I was very nice. Please look out for her and tip her well to treat you well. I WILL be trying to convince my coworkers to come here.
I really happened to love 3 Sheets Saloon the last time I was there ! I would classify it as a sports bar. They have a ton of TVs they have food and drinks. They have a decent amount of table space in the front with servers and a very large bar, they have beer pong in the back & a large scale jenga. There is a party room/dance floor up the stairs & on the weekends they have DJs come in. The one that had Saturday July 13th was amazing & people were dancing and singing along all night.
Gets hot and packed really fast. Otherwise place is decent dive bar…
wathcing nba games here was very fun but in other times they music is not for me and very loud ;(
If you come with a group of friends that are fun, you'll have fun. The place is pretty small even though there's an upstairs bar and a beer pong table. The beer pong crowd is loud and so are most of the patrons. Good for people who like loud, young bars.
I needed a place for a quick drink to wait for the standup comedy show later in the evening and I entered with a friend around 10:30pm. The music was blaring and I had a hard time talking with my friend. Okay price for the drink we had, just wasn't quiet enough for my needs.
Bartender's seem nice. The bar itself gets way too busy for my tastes. And the music tends to be a little on the loud side. If having a packed bar to meet people is your thing, this place is perfect.
Awesome bar! All the sport you can watch. Good beers & really good happy hour prices! The lady serving us was super friendly and nothing was a chore. Food was good too, even though we only went for drinks we got a platter to share. Literally popped in for a beer during a day sight seeing and we stayed ended up staying all day and night, it was that good! Edit: Went back 2 days later were the welcoming was less welcoming and we were refused service as I didn't have ID. I am 38. I offered a photo of my passport and explained we had traveled from our accommodation in Jersey but the lady working that day had zero empathy.
Fairly gross bar on West 3rd street, I have been once for an event and it was packed and pretty dark and humid inside. I would not go back. The drink specials were not very good, if there even were any, and the food was not good. The staff was pretty attentive though. Didn't have to go up to the bar as we had a table, but it looked like people were being served pretty quickly.
Decent bar with decent drinks. Juices and other things are watered down. The place itself has a decent space and they have good that is basically from shop rite or Costco and taste like trash contrasted to the price it cost.
I recently attended an event at 3 Sheets Bar, and unfortunately, it was quite a crowded experience. The space was packed, making it difficult to move around, and the noise level was higher than I expected. While the venue really dark and I found it challenging to enjoy the evening under these conditions. I’m not sure if I would return based on this experience.
Dive bar vibe. Service wasn’t good. If not because of the college sports games, I wouldn’t have went. But if you love a dive bar then this might be a great spot.
My friend visited here for Pride a few years ago and was approached by some drunk and rowdy people that were looking for a problem. My friends tried to de-escalate the situation but then one of the people reached into their bag and slashed her with a sharp object in her neck before running away, causing her to bleed profusely. She could have died and when we tried to go after the people who did it so they could be held responsible, the bouncer held us back let them run out the building. And to “make up for it” the bartender offered us a free shot. Overall this was a failure on the establishment in safety, accountability, and preventative measures. I would advise anyone thinking about coming here to go somewhere else where the establishment actually CARES about people and ensuring everyone can have a good time while remaining safe.
I usually never write reviews. But the staff at 3 sheets were unreasonably impatient and seemed to take delight in pissing off guests. poor customer service experience and one of the worst bars I've been to
Probably the rudest bartending staff I have ever had to interact with. How are you going to be mad at me for ordering drinks?! Never coming back and honestly your money will be better spent at any bar nearby
Super surprised by the good reviews. It was LOUD. LOUD. LOUD. Would not recommend this bar at all. Of all the bars/restaurants we have ever been to, by far the loudest. It was louder than a concert I went to last week. We asked the waitress about it but nothing could be done. We came in to grab some drinks and watch the baseball game on a Friday night but it just felt so uncomfortable and unhealthy for my ears and head. Got a headache from this as the first floor is small and the speakers blast right in your face. The second floor is barely better. Best spot is the bathroom where the music is at a comfortable volume. We didn't stay longer than 30 minutes. Would highly not recommend. Not sure about the other bars in the area but I would go farther for a better bar.
