The Chicken Shwarma Laffa - MASSIVE, EXPENSIVE - think value!! And totally worth it. I add pickles, carrots with raisons and kosher garlic mayo to mine. YUM YUM YUM. There is no better sandwich that I know of for perhaps 1.5 miles in either direction. If you go to the cloisters it is one place to consider - just keep in mind that it is a 15 minute walk and up a steep hill. One can also cheat and go into the 1 train 191 station and take the elevator to avoid the steep hill.
Outstanding kosher food options and honestly the best chicken shawarma that I’ve had also, the staff is amazing and helpful. My new go to spot!
Great shawarma! Kosher, the owner, and the employees are so nice. Make sure to get the spicy sauce on the side( extra spicy)
All the staff us helpful and giving with portions. The food is tasty and affordable. Unlimited salad with your sandwich. The best!
Great food and friendly service. The menu has lots of options. The lunch I ordered had a very large portion for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
I got hit by a car and the owners of Golan took care of me, made sure ENS came, even provided me food!! I am so thankful for the amazing staff and especially Steph and Edgar, sweetest people who take care of me and made sure I was okay

Best in Town!! Chicken Shwarma and Zaidys( also called poppers / teriyaki sesame chicken bites!) Fresh salad , fast & great service. They speak Spanish, French, English , Hebrew! Just go and enjoy!
This one of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants, that inexplicably have the best food. One of the best shawarma wraps I've had since Israel. We ordered and ate in under 5 minutes, staff was nice, generous helpings of food especially for the price. I wouldn't suggest using their bathroom but otherwise this place is perfect.
Great experience. Got a chicken shawarma in a pita and chicken soup. All was nice size portions and cheap prices. Lots of salads/ sides dish to choose from. Indoor seating.
So delicious!! Everything is soooo fresh and delicious! Shwarma salad is my usual vice and it is delicious! Friday's are a bit different and I didn't like it AS much but still great! Priced Right and plentiful portion! Have been coming for years and will continue!
Shawarma and schnitzel is very recommended! Everything was fresh and tasty, a bit pricey but the place is kosher so I guess it makes sense.

Ordered Falafel pita , the falafel itself wasn’t bad it’s just looked so sad it was literally just falafel white sauce and pita , maybe this is the authentic way but I’m used to it having some greens added in the pita. On the other hand the sweet potato fries were really good.
Nothing special. The food only looked good, but it had ZERO seasoning. I only got rice, lentil soup, chicken wings, and a cucumber salad (green salad). Very unfortunate.

I had a great shawarma laffa here a few weeks ago, it was so good I was telling all my friends about it. Went back and the chicken was hard and the flavor was bad. Got horrible food poisoning for the next 24 hours.
Chicken wings had feathers on them. Laffa bread not fresh and the chicken in the shawarma not fresh. Seltzer water bottles had dirt on them. Guys that worked there nice.
Food here was garbage not authentic at all clearly not made by Syrian people!! The food was dry, no flavor, and had a foul sulfuric aroma of occupation! If you want some real Middle Eastern food I recommend you go to “King of Falafel & Shawarma” in Astoria you will never think to go to this place.
This WAS one of my favorite places to eat middle eastern food in the city, and it was already expensive for what it is (short order), but they raised the prices *again* and it’s taking advantage at this point. Excellent fast food, about 30% overpriced. Maybe their regular clientele can afford it, but I’m very disappointed and can’t justify $14 for a pita.
