If ghosts don’t exist how do you explain the super pale ghoul I found chugging a beer at the bar??? Haunted.

Theresa (bartender) was absolutely amazing. I stopped in for lunch and made new friends. The food was great and I had a hard time picking out what I wanted from the menu - it all sounded delicious.

Small Irish bar on Second Avenue with an upstairs party room. Nicely decorated, laid back atmosphere with a friendly woman tending bar. Guinness was built to perfection, and was delicious. Food was very good as well. Clean place, clean bathroom. No one rushes you. Reasonable prices. We liked it a lot.

Didn't eat so review based on drinks only. Probably my favorite pub of this New York trip. Great service, really friendly bar tender, clientele were all fantastic and interesting and it's obviously a locals favorite. Wish I was a local. Great place, will try and pop in again.

Theresa Ann is a great bartender excellent hospitality and good ☘️craic! They have a nice lunch menu and their Irish breakfast is one of the best in the city! Lastly lots of nice old and black white prints and signed books by famous Irish athletes and public figure’s

The drinks were fantastic. We got sangria and the Smoke Show (they put on a show for the latter). For food, we got the Chipotle Caesar Salad and the Beef Sliders, which were of course also very good. Large bar, friendly staff, overall a great experience. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had the pleasure of booking 2 events at Sweet Annie's Bar & Eatery last week. Both were amazing!. Anthony and his team there were amazing. The staff are always so accommodating and the food was excellent. This is not your standard bar food..... waaaaayyyy better!!!!!!

Nice neighborhood bar with nice and funny bartenders (Francis and Alex)! Plenty of TVs and room in the bar and upstairs for private parties and watching sorts. Decent menu and food, clean, spacious and welcoming atmosphere with locals alike. We'll be back!

Great Irish pub close by the 3rd Ave/Lexington Ave train stops. Excellent service wirb cozy atmosphere. Locals near on jobs and far frequent this place.

This bar creates one of the best nights in my entire life, wonderful vibe with amazing new people to meet and know there. And multiple high resolution big TVs to watch whatever sports you want. Nothing more to say except enjoying your night without thinking other things. The vibe and drinks of this bar just let me immerse into it, and cheers to an extraordinary night I’ll never forget. If I still have chances to visit New York again this bar is definitely the No.1 on my to-do list!

First time in Murphys today and it wont be my last. Spent a couple of lovely hours with bartender Mary and also the chicken curry is great. Good spot to watch sport also 👌👌

Great pub, friendly welcome. There were a few tables toward the back set up for food. We had a couple of drinks, the red ale and Red Breast Whiskey went down very nicely. Food was excellent, great service. We would happily return the next time we are in NYC.

Amazing Irish pub—great local crowd and perfect place for the tourist alike. Mike the bartender showed us a great time. We have been multiple times and would recommend without reservation to anyone looking for a cold pint and good times!

A balanced bar as the food drinks service TVs music and vibe are great. No weak link. Open all the time rain snow shine middle of the night 365 days a year. The local spot you should be a regular out if you live on the east side of NYC

Madame Mikettes was busy so we came here for post-happy hour bites. Food was great. Cocktails were great but the highlight of our night was Edina. She was so warm, so welcoming, so professional. We didn't have to wait a minute too long for service, she was able to make recommendations on food and drinks and she brought me dessert before dinner (a commitment to myself post-cancer). She handled our big group effortlessly and I would come back just to see her again. Definitely recommend this place and Edina specifically!!

Came here on a night to meet with some friends in town and I had such a great time!! Our wait staff Allison was soooo lovely! I already can’t wait to come back to see her. Our friends did a toast for my fiancé and I’s recent engagement and she was soooo lovely engaged in our experience! She constantly checked in with us to make sure we were okay and it really elevated the experience. Plus the Yankees won!! I’ll be back at Murphys soon!

Count your change! The bartenders try to keep whatever money you give them not offering change. They assume whatever is over the price is a tip. I confronted them about this and one bartender argued with me about it saying it was an “honest mistake”. The service is awful so this must be how the bartenders make money. This area has so many interesting bars with good service it is not worth the risk to go here. Walk a block in any direction and you’ll find non-criminal bartenders I am sure!
