All dishes were flavorful, well portioned and made with quality ingredients Kid food came out very quickly and the rest was soon to follow. Highly recommended*

Wow! The food here was so unsuspecting. Every bite blew us away. Every dish we ordered was incredible. Even the free bread with the dipping sauce was to die for. Ended up here accidentally on a work trip and will absolutely be coming back

On our roadtrip to Lake Placid, we decided to try Cosimo’s while charging my EV nearby. Glad we did coz the food and service were really good! Shout out to our server Milton who took care of our family of 6! The fried calamari was a good start followed by our delicious man courses including the eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi, and the honey ginger salad. The gluten-free pizza was also spot on. Will definitely come back here every time we use that charging station!

Cosimo’s is a great place to have a nice semi-fancy Italian dinner. Their service is excellent, and the food is top notch. I ordered the linguini with clams and white wine sauce and my cousin ordered the pasta with butter and shrimp. Both of our dishes were fantastic. The shrimps were nice and juicy, and the white wine sauce pairs perfectly with the clams and made for a delicious pasta. Their vast wine selection is also a huge pro of Cosimo’s. It’s also in a prime location next to a local fro-yo place called Sweet Frog. If you’re looking for somewhere with fancy food and drink, but less of the fancy price tag, Cosimo’s is the place for you!

This place was fantastic! Interior felt very cozy and service was very friendly. The food was also great. The pizzas are a great price for their portions, and I especially loved the ricotta on the broccoli pie. The white clam sauce pasta was also delicious. In addition, there are several electric car charging stations right in their parking area, which was very convenient. Would definitely love to come back again.

Excellent. Restaurant. Great food. I love the Shrimp Baguette. However the angel hair pasta was clumping...might have been an off day (7/28/22) for the chef...I've never had a bad experience with food or service at this restaurant. SHANA... I’ve ordered take out from this location a few times and have had good experiences. They have great wood fired pizza. This location has a great team, including the manager. I had an issue with a recent delivery via Uber where my food was stolen by an uber driver. The manager was so kind & accommodating and really made sure to rectify the situation that was really not their fault. The customer service alone is enough for me to continue coming back.

Great time with friends and family. We went a group of 10. Great service. The food was delicious. It was a very cold day. They gave us bread and water before the food. We ordered a variety of things: pizza, pasta, soup, etc.

I can’t say enough how great the people that own and run this place are. They took such great care of me in a pinch. Went out of their way. And… the food is incredible. I had the bacon and spinach pizza. The char was great, exactly how I like pizza, and the bacon is thick cut, local, country bacon. Really good. Two NYS troopers recommended this place the instant I asked them for a great local restaurant… they both separately blurted out “cosimo’s”… “you won’t be sorry”, the other said “you gotta eat there while you’re here”. They weren’t wrong. Warm staff, amazing food, super reasonable. I would go out of my way to eat there again, and I plan on it! Thank you guys again.

Excellent Italian! Came in for dinner and had a fantastic meal. Their chicken parm meal was among the best I’ve ever had. My wife has their gnocchi with shrimp and she loved it. They do serve bread when you’re seated, which is a plus. They have some bottled and canned beers, but no draft. That’s was the only thing I didn’t love. Their parking lot doesn’t have a ton of spots right near the entrance, but there’s plenty of parking within a short walk.

The restaurant is welcoming, the staffmembers are affable and attentive. My coworkers and I were seated immediately. The ambiance is warm with their soft yellow lights all over the place enveloping the scenery with a pleasant glow, while matching the open wood oven fire in the kitchen. The food was excellent. I had the 8oz burger. But the foods on brought out looked and smelled so good, that I am determined to try everything on the menu. I'm content knowing this place is so close to work.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant or its Manager Christine. The staff was phenomenal. I have multiple allergies and food sensitivities. They went out of their way, even when busy to accommodate. The food is so good that every time I visit I go there. This visit I ate there twice in one day. Thank you, Christine and your staff for two wonderful meals.

We had a very nice meal here. The calamari was delicious. Our cocktails were great as well. The service was decent and I appreciate the open pizza kitchen! Very cool to watch. I would definitely come back here again.

Went to celebrate a special occasion. Walked in only to be greeted by the most unfortunate and angry hostess in all of the Hudson Valley. It was so rude and over the top that another hostess quickly stepped in to take over. Sadly, she seated us by people CLEARLY AND ACTIVELY infected with a sickness of some kind (stay home, gross people ARGH). Should have left but that’s on us, anyways. Wasn’t going to let a rude hostess ruin our day and we were sat with high spirits and good vibes. We ordered our drinks and food. Server was attentive and great but he couldn’t do the heavy lifting here. The food—oh dear. We were served bread that was oddly oily and cold. Drinks were great. Our food came out very fast and mostly good. Presentations was fine. Don’t call it a spicy traditional Italian dish if I have to add my own red pepper flakes to make it actually spicy. Sad Cheesecake Factory — that’s the energy it was giving. We couldn’t wait to leave and try a Take 2 version of properly celebrating our special occasion. Server gentleman was great, work on making dishes better. Hostess needs to do a better job or find another line of work because that was beyond unnecessary.

I recently ordered takeout for Valentine’s Day. I’ve been a fan of this restaurant for many years and I’ve always enjoyed their food. I understand that Valentine’s Day was busy, but I don’t think that’s an excuse to provide customers with poorly made products. The seafood Diablo that I ordered was more like seafood soup. The sauce was extremely thin and not properly cooked down. I’ve ordered this dish many times from many restaurants. I’ve never received the amount of calamari tentacles that I did in this dish. It was a bit excessive. Although the sauce had a nice flavor, it was not prepared properly; as I stated previously, it was more like fried Diablo soup. The pasta was broken up and overcooked. It was almost like someone crushed up the pasta before boiling it, and then sautéed it in my dish. The sausage and tomato cream pasta that I ordered was very subpar. The impact of sausage in the dish was overwhelming, and the amount of fennel was for lack of better words disgusting. overall, it was just poorly made pasta was overcooked as well. I understand Valentine’s Day is busy, however, being someone who worked in the restaurant business for many years, it is not an excuse to provide customers with poorly made food. I paid almost $80 for two pasta dishes, and a pizza. I expect a well-established business like this to do way better And I hope in the future that other customers will not be as disappointed as I was.
