10/10 cannot recommend this place enough!! I was in Newport for some work and needed some lunch so decided to try out Great Amex Grill and I’m glad I did. Huge burrito w guac, chips, and salsa on the side portions are great Cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu

So small, we had to back track LOL You order at the counter and they bring the food and drinks to you. The 8 of us came in an hour before closing and they weren't scared... still delivered delicious food!! Friendly/professional staff, clean establishment, next time will try some cocktails!

Been coming here since I was a kid and it’s just as delicious as ever! Best Shrimp Tacos in the world!!! (Besides south of the border) 😉 After spending a day on the beach just walk across the sand to Great Mex and have the yummiest tacos ever 🌮 🍤 🌊🏄🏼‍♀️

Pretty much the best fish tacos I've had. The hot sauce complimented it very well. Also the black bean tacos were very delicious as well. Our cashier was very friendly and the food came out super quick. Definitely recommend to everyone!

We have eaten here multiple times and enjoyed it each time. Our typical order is hard tacos, a chicken burrito, and out guilty pleasure, a side of fries. Besides the food being delicious, they have amazing salsas ranging from mild to extra hot. The staff is excellent and service quick.

This place has great food, drinks, service, atmosphere and prices. Everything we got was delicious and really went above and beyond what I expected. The music was fun too and had me dancing while I ate. Definitely will go back to my new favorite Mexican restaurant on the peninsula

Food is great, if you can get it. I tried showing up one night 30 minutes before closing and they just told me they just decided to close early because it was a slow night. I went back the next night and it was packed. The tacos were outstanding and were ready reasonably quick for for busy they were.

For one you can just look at their menu and you know their food is not good. All it takes is looking at their carne asada burrito to realize that it is not Mexican food I had heard great things but you can already know automatically if a Mexican restaurant puts rice in a carne asada burrito it's a bad restaurant
