I was born in niagara falls my late parents took me there for meals it was so good ,I live in ga but always remember this restaurant
First time here. No idea why it took me so long. Amazing. Old school ambience. Incredible pizza.
Loved this pizza since I was young and the original owners were still there. Still love it but wish they had delivery or door dash. Hate having to go pick it up from lasalle. Please consider it
Amanda was very welcoming, cheery and friendly. This was our first visit to La Hacienda. Celebrating a birthday and the food was fresh, wholesome and very good value. Definitely coming back
We are from Ontario and just ate here today on a recommendation from a stranger we asked at a trampoline park at the gallaria mall. The food was fantastic! I’ve never wanted to ask to hug the owner before today. We are experienced chefs by trade and very fussy customers to make happy. Honestly the sauce on the gnocchi and the huge ravioli was just fantastic! The ravioli was so creamy and flavourful. We also had the green and beans soup, the calamari, cheese pepperoni pizza and a sausage, pepperoni, hot pepper pizza as well. This place is now my favourite Italian place! There’s nothing fancy on the plate, just good quality old school fantastic tasting food that is perfectly cooked! I have not a single negative thing to say! Perfect home cooked food! I hope this restaurant is around for a very long time now that we’ve found it!
Best pizza I've had in the Falls, far and away. Perfectly cooked, steaming hot, NYC style pizza. I, personally, like regular pepperoni better than the WNY style cup-n-char, but it isn't bad. Love the sauce. The best sauce I've had outside of NYC. Only reason I gave them a 4 for service is because, I tried calling both numbers on a Monday, which they're supposedly open on, called 20 or so times. Both numbers. No answer. Glad they did answer this time though.
Ive been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years when my parents would bring me here as a little kid. It was always the best pizza I'd ever had, and the quality never took a dive in all that time. When Aldo passed, I was concerned that it would no longer be the same, but had to find out for myself. I am thrilled to say that the new owners haven't changed a thing, they they take pride in maintaining the legacy of the restaurant. The food is as excellent as it ever was. Aldo would be proud!
Best pizza and wings ever. Massive chicken wings, crispy and juicy with traditional Buffalo wing sauce and a large portion of real blue cheese dip. Pizza 🍕 was cup and char pepperoni and I can honestly say hands down best I've ever had and would come back again, again and again for this meal. Top notch.
My family is from Ontario and we’ve been going to La Hacienda for forever - my parents and extended family since before I was born. Honestly- I’ve never had anything but the pizza and wings - it’s so good we crave them and drive to the states just to have them. Local gem with lots of character and their pizza and wings can’t be beat!
Intense old NY style, dim lights and lovely service, great food comes out insanely fast. I was offered a nice booth, bread and butter as an appetizer, water in a pitcher. Ordered calamari and pizza. Food came so fast and had a special place to rest which was great presentation. The pizza was real saucy due to my request of extra sauce. I dont recommend extra sauce because the crust is thin style. The pizza tasted great but it was hard to hold because of my choice. Good prices. Im happy. I was not a fan of the mushrooms being big and still juicy.
We always love the food at LaHacienda. Their pizza is the best ever and their salad is delicious. I wish that they would offer a smaller version of the house salad because it is so large that after you finish it, you are too full to finish your pizza.
I personally enjoyed the food. Just a bummer with the wings, they came out with no sauce when I ordered mild. Pizza was thinner and charred nice. Good cheese. Waitress gave me a dirty plate which was funny because she said here are clean plates for your food as she handed me a plate with scraps of warm lettuce. 🤔.
Porterhouse steak was very good, according to my son and daughter. Fried haddock was a very generous portion. I tried Trippa( tripe) had a weird after taste. Wasn't like mine . I add onions and hominy. It was close to closing, so felt a little rushed. Said homemade bread with all appetizers...no bread was served There was 7 of us and the menu said 18 % gratuity added for parties of 8 or more. They added a 22% gratuity........
Ordered large pie, half with pepperoni and 20 wings medium. Apparently they changed the size of the pie. Much smaller now. Wings are as dry as the Sahara. 65.00 Definitely not like it used to be. Unfortunately this will be my last trip to a pizzeria that was the best.
We have eaten at this restaurant before, for many years. We moved away to Florida and came back to the falls last week for a celebration of life. My father's family wanted all 12 of us to go there on June 6th. My aunt used to work there and suggested we all go there for a mini reunion. I can tell you the service was ok,not great, not horrible. It was pretty quiet with 2 people at the bar and our party and one other. The food was definitely not as any of us remembered. Three of us got the fried haddock, while the fish was good. The tartar sauce ruined it for all of us. It was hands down the grossest tartar sauce we ever had. It was watery, not creamy,it basically tasted like chopped up pickles and water mixed with cream of tartar. I've never seen tartar sauce like it,nor did anyone else in our party, but it ruined the fish and most of us stopped eating it. My mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs, the sauce was runny and not much flavor and the meatballs were dense and bland. My father who grew up in that restaurant ordered the pizza as it was his favorite place when we lived up there, but he said the pizza sucked, and tastes nothing like it used too. My aunts steak sandwich which was ordered medium rare, but was so overcooked, she couldn't finish it. The best thing about our dinner was the huge side salad the give with each meal. It was fresh, huge and the dressing was tasty. We also liked the bread and butter, but we joked that was good, because Dicamillos makes that and not La-Hacienda. I know the original owner passed and these are the new owners, it's a shame because they clearly are banking on a well known name, but the recipes are not as they were. My aunt who worked there for twenty years was embarrassed that she invited us there, because it was not as she remembered it either. In my opinion, go next door to Michael's, they are better and the food still tastes amazing there after all the years. La Hacienda is definitely not what it once was.
