This place will make you throw rocks at Taco Bell. Staff was all laughing and talking. The steak tacos are the bomb. Really enjoyed the food and the interaction with staff.

Awesome, great food, beer n WiFi. Can't beat it. Only wish they used small plastic baggies for the continent bar, their small cups aren't big enough for a child let alone a grown man. Overall I'd return regularly, the price is right and the service reflects a positive attitude.

As always easy Tex Mex, nachos, enchiladas on point. And I just realized you can get margaritas to go. They serve as a Slurpee of sorts and then you decide if you want to add the tequila. I think I only paid like $2. Many Taco Cabanas have closed this past year, but West Road and maybe Shepherd are going strong.

First time ever ordering or visiting Taco Cabana. My co-workers ordered from here one day. Was very pleased with the menu choice. I then completed a mobile order here later on in the week. It was ready when I got there. I was able to get in and out on my lunch break

Fresh hot delicious. I like the quesadilla and love the Mexican pizza but they stop selling it so that was disappointing. Nachos were cool could've put more toppings. The young lady that was there was polite and respectful.

I give 5 Stars because for a fast food place they got pretty decent margaritas, how food could be better, I gave 4 Stars for atmosphere because while I dining in trying to enjoy my food and margaritas there was a homeless guy charging his phone and going in and out on the patio smoking a cigarette, just found it kinda annoying

It was really quiet when I visit tonight on my lunch break. Staff was friendly. Order was correct. Food was decent. Was a little pricey. But that's normal for this part of town. Dining room was pretty clean. All in all a pleasant experience.

I bought 2 taco bowls, beef for me, and chicken for my daughter. She said her chicken bowl was good. I really couldn't enjoy my beef bowl because my lettuce had lots of hard pieces in it. 😒 I should've gotten the pizza like before. It was good.

The eggs a la mexicana at this location was so much better than the ones I've had in other locations in Texas, including San Antonio. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Oscar was very attentive and detail oriented. Definitely returning to this location.

I visit here quite often and, of course, like any fast food restaurant, they make mistakes occasionally, with hat being said. It is not that often that they make them. I really like the food, price and most of the time speed of service for the price I have paid. I think you will be pleasantly surprised as well.

Delicious food — tastes fresh, and the meat is good quality. You can certainly get a healthy meal. The cashier was a little slow, but the experience was otherwise good! The salsa bar is gone due to Covid.

The food was pretty good but the service was excellent. The casher was extremely helpful and offered a free refill on on a drink that wasn't at the soda bar. The place could've used some tlc on neatness & cleanliness but the experience altogether wasn't bad at all so I give them a b+ for effort.

Would have given 5 stars for service, but had to wait for order when it was scheduled to be ready. You can't make people late getting back to the office during lunch hours. The gentleman was very polite and apologized for the wait. I really did appreciate that.

Meh... Not really the cleanest inside. Fish tacos (lent special) looked good on the ad, but definitely not worth what I paid. Soda machine splashes everywhere... Maybe some maintenance is needed. I'll stick to the breakfast tacos from now on. This is more of 2.5 stars review....

It's alright. Seems to be a popular location for business meetings for some reason. Rarely do you see those people eating food though. The food is adequate, i would recommend buying the full plates instead of individual tacos for a better deal. Serve time is adequate for fast food.

Taco Cabano is not what it used to be. Before Covid-19, it was one of the best fast food Tex-Mex spots with cheap margaritas. Things have changed, but I am hoping they make a come back soon.

I ordered the breakfast taco box to go. Location was fairly clean, and it would have been rated higher if it wasnt for the fact that I waited 30 minutes for the food and there was no only one customer in front of me. There was also no one in the front when I got there. I waited about 5 minutes before an employee who was clocking out saw me and decided to help me. Anyways, great food! 😁

With this location there is a difference in buying during the day and at night. The day shift is the best hands down, while the night crew needs to be replaced. Last night went thru drive thru, order was not right so I went inside, stood there for 5 minutes just so I could ask for cheese on my food. When I got home my tortilla on top was wet and soggy, but the bottom layer was crunchy. This location is losing money because of a few lazy people. The 3 stars are for the day crew. oh please stop serving soft, soggy pico.

It is solid average. Lady was nice this gives it what would have been a poor rating. No condiment bar or access to soda fountain. Yes we can say it is due to pandemic but other locations have both open.

I always have a decent experience here at this location. I wish they still had charro beans and didn’t charge extra to add meat (a couple of crumbs) on kids meals which nearly adds up to the regular price. The prices are restaurant prices with fast food taste lol. But I still eat it as my late night go to. I gave them 3 stars because if it.

Food was good as always, but the curbside pickup service is not working at this location. After placing the order, we arrived and called the number to pickup. The number repeatedly went to to a recording stating that no one was available. We got in the drive through line and they only gave us half our order, so we had to get back in the line and wait a second time.

Smelled of a gas leak, took very long to order, but nice people. Lots of flies. Weird employee on break playing a video game with the volume too loud. The food took an unusually long time to get to us. Looked like nobody was cooking or in the process of making food in the kitchen. Pretty clean place. Oh yeah, the food was good, 4/5 for food taste.

Stale chips. Rude, miserable employees. The only two people I saw smile the whole time I was in there were the two guys on the line preparing food. The salsa bar was clean and the dining area was mostly clean.

I walked in the store and normally someone says "Hello! Welcome in!" but instead the cashier stared at me and she asked in a rude voice "May I help you?" 😒😒😒I wanted to leave at that moment but my stomach was growling. As I was ordering the Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco Combo the drive thru cashier at her eyes GLUED to me. 👀👀👀 Why? IDK... Now I was the ONLY customer in line and there were two people in the dining area that finished their food and left before I received my food. Then the server came with my food and asked "Did you order the combo?" I said yes but I wanted to say do you see anyone else here... In conclusion the cashier should be a cook because her customer service skill is poor and the server needs to be more aware.

Been here before; this time was not as pleasant as previous experiences. Got chicken quesadilla and chicken tacos plate and also a Dragonfruit Margarita. Food and drink were very good. Unfortunately one staffer who was probably on her break was sitting in the dining room almost the whole time we were there blasting out loud music and other sounds from her phone and sometimes talking loudly with her coworkers. I think the dining room is for guests to enjoy but it was being treated like it was mostly an employee break room. Also, as we were leaving we heard someone right behind us screaming loudly, which was very startling, and it was a different staffer leaving work. A shame to see such lack of professionalism and common courtesy here. Since the food was good I wish I hadn't dined in.

The deals are decent but customer was very poor. The counter clerk fumbled on every aspect and of course she didn't know how to enter my coupon and she had a nice nasty attitude, and had to call the manager to help her and the wait time was awful.

The dining area was disgusting! The floor was stick and visibly dirty, the salsa bar was not up kept and was dirty, none of the tables were wiped down. There was one worker that when she got back from going next door to try to get change did start cleaning, and when we complained about the filth - the employee we complained to got reprimanded for cleaning. I wish I could at least say that the food was good, but the corn tortillas were greasy mush and the flower tortillas were undercooked.

I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and received my food faster. The people were nice...but had I not asked, I’d still be sitting there waiting for my food. The kicker...the stores upper management was there when I walked in. Wish they had still been there when I got my food...

I frequent this location ONLY because I work close by. Each of my last 3 visits have had slow service. The servers are nice but it takes forever to have your order taken. As well the floor has been sticky each time. I'm going to have to find a new lunch spot. I expressed my complete disdain with the 20+ minutes it took to complete my order. The manager, Luisa, apologized and rectified the situation the best she could. I'm grateful that she took the time to try to make it right.

Service very slow. They were too focused on filling a big Togo order at the expense of the regulars who actually visit the store. Had to wait like 12 min for a simple Cabana bowl....Smh. Then offered no apologies not concessions for my inconvenience

I've visited this location twice in the past month and each time the service is so very slow. I order the same thing from every location I visit, but this location seems to take forever to make a taco. The worst part is that they always have about six people there and everyone is standing around! The great thing about this location, the food is always good. The dining area is very clean. The staff is so nice.

I love the breakfast tacos, but the line is often really long and slow in the morning. Also they often get my order partially wrong or they give me somebody else’s. I don’t know if their speaker is broke or they’re understaffed in the morning, but it would be much better if the problem was fixed. It’s been a year since I posted the original post and although I still frequent here for breakfast tacos, the ladies that work here just aren’t very friendly even when the line is nearly empty. I asked to add to my order which made it from a $5 order to a $25 order(3 tacos to 7 tacos) and the lady rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed. She also got my order partially wrong again.

Insanely slow service in the drive-thru. Disorganized. We didn't get a receipt for our order. The woman asked if we would like any sauce, my husband said yes...but she didn't give us any. Seems like she was too distracted trying to multi-task at the window. Food was okay.

I ordered through the drive through. Requsted my food made with flour tortillas as I'm allergic to the corn tortillas. The staff taking my order, allowed me to place the orders for everyone. Once the food came out it was all corn tortillas.I explained again that I'm allergic and requsted all flour. The lady apologized told me to wait at the window for a remake. The food came out corn again, at this point the manager came to state, the only option was corn. I can take that or nothing. I tried to explain I'm allergic. He said he'll get a refund. Once again the original staff arrived to the window. By this time, there's a huge line, the manager did not care. After nearly 20 minutes of waiting and miscommunication, I was given a refund on my food not my drinks. We just left.

The food is decent, but overpriced for how much you get. That’s IF you even get everything you ordered. Twice now, I have been missing items. I will not be ordering from them again. There are much better and reliable places. Especially the beans, which are always runny.

I am so disgusted. I went through the drive-through order to Steak fajita tacos combo. The steaks were not even warm. I’m eating the steaks and for some reason something didn’t taste right. The next thing I know I started violently throwing up The two steaks tacos. The worst part is, I was sitting in traffic when this all happened and I only had the paper bag from the drive-thru. 😔

I can’t figure out for the life of me why these people cannot get one single order right . Nor do I understand why the concept of DELIVERY eludes them. If I have placed an order to be DELIVERED , No I cannot come in to pick up the rest of my order !! Possible the filthiest restaurant I've ever been to. The floors in the men's room where greasy... the food was cold and most likely sat or was reused from the previous day. I threw my meal out after eating a few bites. Saw the staff putting out serving trays without cleaning them... this place is a health hazard. AVOID!

1300 10/21 I came thru drive thru. I tried to hand the lady the $20, she dropped it then turned away to take another order without saying sorry. I get out to chase my money down and give it to her, she takes it and doesn't say anything again. She hands me 2 more items without saying anything! I take my last item and get ready to drive off and again not a sorry, thank you or goodbye. On top of that I just saw that she forgot my straw! Who's employee is this???

Worst service in my life. It took 51 minutes for our order to be completely be delivered to our table. Everything was brought out one item at a time. By the time that the third person had their order completed, us other two were done and ready to finish our 3+ hour trip home. Excuses abounded and apologies were shown to be meaningless. As told to us by the manager, the drive thru was busy and the customer orders inside were put on hold. We were not the only ones. One customer got a refund, that came in after us, and others complained. There were only 6 customers inside, at best. My friend that had to wait and was driving us back was asked if he wanted free sopapillas to make it right. He never got to eat and had to ask for a refund. What a complete letdown of this company brand. Especially at the end of our short vacation.

I will never order from Taco Cabana again. I can't remember the last time my order was correct. This time I ordered delivery - beef fajitas - nothing complicated. No cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole. And a canned coke was $2.19. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Really had no issue with the food itself. Everything else however was questionable to downright disgusting. Based on the condition of the parking lot we almost kept driving but decided that, since it was windy, perhaps the parking area wasn't always full of debris. Although the inside was better, only just. The salsa bar was messy, the bathroom needed much attention, but it was the food handling that was the most disturbing. I went to ask for tortillas they missed including in our order and although the young man who prepared the tortillas in foil was properly gloved, he actually handed the foil wrapped tortillas to the cashier, who was not gloved/washed who then handed it to me. The PROBLEM was a portion of one tortilla was still exposed and the cashier's bare hand fully grasped the exposed tortilla as he handed it to me. Yuck! As we sat we watched as the cashier went outside to tackle the considerable amount of garbage in the parking area. No gloves. Just a dustpan, broom, and a rolling garbage pail. He worked painfully slow and by no means was thorough. It appears homelessness has touched this area of Houston. There were quite a few homeless people meandering about in the immediate area with suitcases, one with a shopping cart surrounded by more debris, and panhandlers on the corners. I used to live in Houston; I would never even consider moving back.

I just left there and the service was horrible and the food was cold and not all that goes with it. This was my 2nd time and there won't be a 3rd!!! Do Not waste your time, money or patience on this location and the managers should be FIRED! Because if they was about their business they would not hire HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES...

Service is VERY slow. We dined in once and it took FOREVER to get our food to our table. There are literally flies everywhere near the condiments table inside and none of the food is covered. It is disgusting! Drive thru is slow too!! You need to hire more competent people! Even the McDonalds down the street has better service!!!

This particular store is slow. On a Saturday night it took over 30 mins on the inside to get my single 1 plate order. There was trash everywhere and no manager to be seen. The store was being run by looked liked all teenagers laughing and playing and taking their time completing order. The condiment bar was out of almost everything including cups for the condiments and had dead flies around it. The beans in my order were so salty I couldn't eat them. This is the worst service I've had from this particular store.

Had to re-warm up every bit of the food I was served today. I had to air fry my Floutas because they were still cold in the middle basically uncooked. I only live about four minutes from the west road location. I only live about four minutes from the west road location. When I talk to the manager she acted like it wasn’t any big deal. Poor service poor food. If I wanted to have to cook I wouldn’t even of went to the store.

I wouldn't even give this place one star! It's really appalling what had happened. There were flies flying around and food on the floor. Our food came out out and the meat felt cold. The tortillas were hard, some looked like they were not cooked in the middle and others were torn on the sides. We told the worker that the food was cold and they told us it was because they left it on the counter and said they would reheat it. We asked if this food was freshly cooked because the meat was only warm after being reheated and it tasted a bit weird from the usual. They said it was freshly made but I'm not convinced. I normally eat at taco cabana at a different location and the food is good there. If you eat here, make sure your food is hot not cold.

Order was messed up 3 different ways. Workers more interested in flirting with each other than working. Employees need better training or maybe management needs it. Been here 3 times in 2017, two were bad. And they use old chips they just reheat. Bad all around. Avoid if you can

Had to wait more than 10 mins for the manager to come and give me a gift card because apparently she was the only one who knew how to ring it up. Waited for my food so long, it was like warm. They had to remake. Didnt have a gift card holder. Just unorganized. Not happy 😒

I did not like the service that the cashier has given to me. I walked in around 4p.m and stood there waiting to get service. The young lady that was my cashier first looked at me but went to the side to talk for awhile. everyone else kept walking past me, I guess because there was no one else waiting besides me. What a nice way to show service, then after the young cashier came up to me with a stern face. She gave me attitude, seriously I can get that attitude from my girlfriend, I don't need another person to do the same. I asked for the manager but the girl told me "he busy wit sumn't". Then a young man approached me from the kitchen to ask what was going on and I couldn't bare how he smelled. The man smelled like ass funk from after sex. Like dude you gotta shower. Just a horrible experience overall. Not going back

It’s always the heavy set Hispanic lady that works in the morning I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to take back my order because she has gotten it wrong. I have give a 1 star because by the time I get to eat my food is cold and I waste so much gas taken food back. She do not need to work the drive through because she cannot get orders, right. Well, I’m gonna have to find a new Taco Cabana to go to because I’m tired of wasting my gas in my time. the survey asked what dish can you recommend unfortunately I have to say not because if she’s working, she’s not gonna get it right

Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE we sat in the drive thru from 9:28pm to 9:40. When we FINALLY got to the loud speaker to order at 9:40 the guy said give me a second then at 9:47 a lady got on and took our order. When we made it to the window at 9:56 my nachos cheese were cold and the chips were stale. My baby ordered tacos nothing was on it except for meat. This place is horrible. Please do not go. I do not recommend!!!!

Asked for limes she proceeds to say it’s in the bag. I pull off. Check the bag no limes. I never write reviews but since I’ve been stuck now behind this car for a while just for some lime she said was in the bag. Place sucks

This place should be closed permanently. I told them that I was allergic to lactose, so I ordered no cheese on my plate. They put cheese on the tacos, and I took them back and instead making me new tacos, she scraped the cheese off and gave them back to me with still cheese in it. Really bad service.

The service, it was horrible. I pulled up to the window sat there for 10-15 minutes. Never received a response after yelling, hello multiple times. I proceeded to pull up to the window assuming the speaker is broken. The cashier asks me what do I want? Not a hello, how are you but what do I want. I stated that I would like to place an order as no one responded to the speaker. I place my order and he tells me to pull up to the reserved parking area until it’s ready. I sit and wait for another 10 minutes only for an associate to come out to my window and say, we’re out of cheese. Either the manager on duty doesn’t care enough to ensure his staff is doing there job or it’s just teenagers trusted to run that establishment. Definitely will not be coming back there.

If I could give this place no stars I definitely would. We waited at least 10 minutes before anyone took our order. The food at this one is not that great at all. Everything was sloppy made and thrown together and the staff acted like we was bother them with an order. We will for now on wait until closer to home at the NorthPark Kingwood location that is fact the greatest.

I was trapped in this drive thru for almost an hour. My order was wrong. They gave me a free lemonade to make up for it. I don't think it does honestly.

Service is no good. From the drive thru They made us pull to the front of the store to bring out our orders. The wait was 30 minutes and then the order was all wrong. They didn’t put any of the condiments I asked for and the food was cold, from the beans to rice and tacos; it was just like prison food. I will never to go to that location again!!!!

The food tasted just ok but the buffet bar was completely empty, I told the cashier and he refilled it but the Pico was fermented and bad, the bathrooms smelled disgusting, not only the men's restroom but the women's as well cuz my mom and friends said it smelled bad in there as well. Not worth the money spent.

The WORST experience ever experienced at this location. Sad to say that we were there 3 days prior to order the same exact order, and it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference. The drinks were liquid (they were supposed to slush like alcoholic beverages), and the plates were filled with cooking oil, as you will see in the pictures. I will post many. The quesdilla was not made as asked and we paid and asked for a large and it came in a small box. No guacamole, was in our order. There was cheese siting on the top of my refried beans. Cashier lied about the drinks, she was non-attentive, and careless.

Very poor service! Ordered a Nacho plate and the amount of the meat they provided me I thought was a prank then when I asked for more they charged me $4.50 thinking I’d get a decent amount (as they knew my concern was the quantity) and I couldn’t truly tell a difference. They literally put 3-4 more small slices of steak and told me it is what it is. Without advising me that additional meat is only another 2-3oz of meat. They didn’t care about my experience and they were very rude. Avoid this location you’ll more than likely be disappointed in the food as well. I’ve uploaded a picture of my nacho plate they gave me with no hesitation.
