I’ve been going NuVegan for years and the food still is on point. Mac and Cheese at the Alexandria location is the best I’ve had. Staff is always friendly and smiling and eager to help. This is a DC vegan staple. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as they are in food pickup spots. I hope they get sit down locations again soon.

A bit hard to find initially but there’s a blue door that says “Nuvegan Takeout Pickup” and you just knock on the door. Food was delicious and I received a free parfait for the extra wait!

I love nu vegan but this location sucked. Service was pretty good for a place that is pickup only but I could tell the food was old and the quality is not as good as the location I was used to. I received extra lasagna but when I got home I could tell why.. because it the noodles were stale seeming and crispy and the flavor was off. The mac n cheese tasted okay but was a lot watery than I am used to on the reheat and it was stuffed into the smallest plastic container think of something you would put fudge chocolates in. Drummers were good per usual tho. I wouldn't come back to this location I am going to try another:

Over 10 dollars for💩 ice cream, 5 dollar delivery and you can’t get the right flavor or cancel the item. But you know what, my fault for making such a decision. i can’t get a refund in the app. I need you guys to lock in. Immediately. And then you gave me this birthday cake mess. That’s completely different from the flavor I ordered. And then there’s a sprinkle of toppings on the top. None throughout the pint. Lock. In. I should put a picture of, but i’ll spare you. Edit: I take it back, I’m putting the picture because the other food was lowkey buns i fear.

There is no pint of entry. There is a blue door with graffiti on it with store logo but no entry! There are also a lot of homeless people activity at said location. I wouldn’t eat here just off the outside area alone. Called the number and no one answered the phone.
