Ce lieu est un paradis! Le serveur est super agréable et toujours aux petits soins! L'équipe féminine en cuisine est formidable et régalent les papilles avec brio! Je suis resté 1 semaine à Oaxaca et c'était un de mes moments préférés de la journée que de la commencer en mangeant un plat ici et en sirotant une agua de dia (la pastèque était splendide !) Et le tout avec des produits bio de qualité ! Chapeau !

El lugar es muy lindo, ame las vibras del lugar, estaba en búsqueda de un lugar con opciones veganas y no veganas para mis amigos y este fue el lugar correcto. Toda la comida estuvo exquisita y es una lastima que lo encontré en mi ultimo día de mi estancia en Oaxaca, el staff fue muy amable y me ayudaron a conseguir un taxi, sin duda lo recomiendo mucho!

Vine a almorzar a alma|ráiz y me llevé una grata sorpresa. Empecé con un moca caliente con dulce chocolate oaxaqueño. ¡Perfecto, caliente y delicioso! ¡Viene con una galleta de cortesía! Después, probé su sándwich de camarones en pan de masa madre fresco y suave. Los camarones estaban carnosos y sabrosos. Venía con una ensalada de rúcula con almendras. Sebastián, mi mesero, fue muy amable. El precio era un poco caro para los estándares mexicanos. ¡Pero sentí que valió la pena! ¡Me impresionó tanto que dejé esta reseña! ¡Échenle un vistazo!

Encontré Alma Raíz caminando por el barrio de Jalatlaco y fue una muy buena sorpresa. El lugar es tranquilo, acogedor, con una vibra muy relajada. Pedí unos molletes y un smoothie, y la verdad estaban buenísimos, todo se nota fresco y hecho con cariño. Se nota que usan ingredientes de calidad, y lo mejor es que el menú tiene opciones para todo tipo de dieta. El servicio también fue excelente, muy atentos y amables. Si buscas comer saludable en Oaxaca pero sin perder sabor, este lugar es ideal.

Es un lugar lindo para ir a comer, me gusta ir por el menú vegano. Sin embargo tiene opciones veganas, vegetarianas y normales. Me parece que tiene otro piso en la parte de arriba pero nunca he subido yo siempre optó por el de abajo. El establecimiento está ordenado y limpio. La comida y bebidas son buenas, con sabor único y particular. Recomiendo las hamburguesas vegetarianas. El servicio es ameno, siempre están al pendiente de todo y son muy amables. Los precios debido a los materiales e ingredientes son un poco altos pero valen la pena. Relación precio calidad buena. Baños higiénicos. Cuenta con una tienda donde venden productos como crema de maní , salsas, frituras saludables, semillas a granel y productos artesanales de skincare. Recomiendo mucho si estás buscando opciones veganas o algo afin. No cuenta con estacionamiento pero hay espacio para estacionarte en los al rededores cercanos. Me encanta.

What can I say, sometimes we stumble into gems. Alma Raiz is a gem. Not only is the owner and staff warm and welcoming but the food is delicious. I was tired and famished after arriving in Oaxaca after a long bus ride and unexpectedly came across Alma Raiz. I ordered the organic beef hamburger and was not disappointed. It completely hit the spot and when I received the bill, I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was. I encourage you to check it out and I look forward to hear about your experience. And speaking of gems, there is also a fully stocked organic grocery store next door. Enjoy 😋👍🏽

Amazing food, tasty, the food is very light and doesnt make you feel heavy. Fresh and healthy. We had the acai bowl and the falafel salad. We loved how the place was decorated. They also sell homemade sauces. The waiter wasnt fluent in english but opened google translate to make sure everything is clear. They have menus fully in english

We had breakfast and it was simply delicious! We had two açaí bowls that were superb and the scrambled eggs with turkey were also amazing. The restaurant also has a little shop where you can find amazing organic products. Highly recommend!

Everything I ate and drank was delicious! The fruit salad is the BEST I have ever had: perfectly fresh and abundant...papaya, Fig, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, nuts and seeds...all bursting with flavor! The eggs avocado, bread and salad...fresh fresh fresh and deliciously prepared! Coffee was deeply flavorful and kummbucha was small batch ..many tasty flavors to pick from. The atmosphere matched the food's quality...tasteful, clean, artistic and pleasantly cool. Absolutely my favorite breakfast and lunch place in Oaxaca!!! And!....the service was lovely! Go there! You will enjoy every part of your experience.

I eat here for breakfast and several lunches. Each dish was amazing. I had the veg omelet, organic beef burger, falafel salad, and Buddha bowl with shrimp. The attached store also has great products. Great service and quality of food.

Charming little shop with dairy products and cold beverages bulk foods and other comestibles. I bought the proprietor’s fermented cabbage and it was delicious. Still searching for kimchi, though. There’s an adjacent studio, managed separately, that offers group dance lessons. I shall return with my wife and try the coffee. I suppose that the dance studio also serves as the seating area for the shop.

Wonderful spot and we loved dining there. The staff was friendly and lots seating options. There is an organic tiny grocery store next door. Really great place to visit to get stuff to go or to dine in. Breakfast options were solid. And the coffee was wonderful. Really enjoyed the experience there.

Muy lindo espacio, con una interesante carta, ejemplo de ello es la variedad de aguas minerales nacionales e internacionales, así la como la cafetería muestra diversas presentaciones de selectos granos de café mexicano, así como los exóticos tés e infusiones, deliciosos; por otro lado, los jugos de prensado en frío, técnica única en Oaxaca: muy, muy recomendable, así como la panadería estilo francés-mexicano es una delicia para acompañar; el ambiente es muy intimista, fresco y con toques de naturaleza viva; la mueblería en madera real le da un toque muy naïf!!

La relación sabor-precio deja mucho que desear, además de sus porciones ser pequeñas, incluso tienen galletas de 5 cm de diametro en $35 (aunque en el menú hay opciones sin gluten, estas son "normales"). Pedí una limonada de, $70 y traía semillas de limón trituradas... Mucho que desear por sus precios tan elevados.

This place has amazing selection and excellent staff. Sadly the prices are so high. I paid 121p for about a cup of dried coconut. They have some hard to find items if there is something you can’t live without. But my wallet won’t let me go back.

We just came from shopping at this very nice small organic shop near us. We always want to support places like this. We bought 4 items. Bag of kale, small jar of vegan pesto, small bottle of balsamic vinegar and 1 small tube of body cream. My husband paid for it and when we got back to our apartment we realized those 4 items totaled up to $45 US. (This can't be right) The items had no prices on them. Either it was our fault by not checking/adding before we left and saying something or their prices are super high. 🤔. Just to everyone... make sure you double check before you leave.

Decent selection of items but not a smooth shopping experience. Prices are very rarely marked so you have to ask for someone's help for 90% of the items you're interested in. The food in bulk is not self service so you're supposed to get someone to put the items in the little bag for you after you tell them the amount you want. The receipts don't show the amount you paid for the bulk items.

I went looking for vitamins and supplements. They carry a small selection. Not what I wanted, even though it's a highly popular product. Easier to buy online from Mercado Libre. Staff was friendly.

Visited the store today, and now reading the other reviews, wish I had seen them in advance! While the store is lovely and the lady working there was friendly I can’t recommend it. As they mentioned most items don’t have prices on, and stupidly I assumed even if expensive, they can’t be that much right? Wrong. One big tub of plain yogurt and small 300g bag of granola was £17.50 / $23.50! Day light robbery. It would be pretty easy to just mark the produce with a price. Furthermore, the yogurt quality was also not good. I fully understand they are a stockist and there is no way to check, but after paying so much I was also devastated that when I got it home it was a bit curdled and sour - which having eaten lots of this brand is never how it ever is! Seemed like it had been unrefrigerated for too long at some point.

A few decent items that you can’t find anywhere else, but prices are ridiculously exorbitant and no prices are marked, a huge turn off. There’s no way on this planet that a can of coconut milk should cost seven dollars (that I pay 45 pesos for at Chedraui), and that’s just for starters.

It’s ridiculous to give off this healthy vibe and then they don’t know the ingredients of their products nor what those ingredients are. I said I’m allergic to gluten and dairy and they suggested I buy a bread with “no flour”. I check the ingredients and the first is wheat. And they keep trying to explain that it has no flour. Ok? I ask if the almonds covered in chocolate are vegan and they say “yes they have no sugar” and I’m like “ok but are they vegan? Is it milk chocolate or dark chocolate?” The response: “it has no sugar no nothing”. I get home and taste them taking a risk because no one knew if they had dairy and they were full of sugar 😂😂😂😂 whatever I would just hope for a much better service considering the prices of the place
