GAS FOOD. Dude best Mexican I’ve had and Ive been to Mexico. Authentic, well priced and just so good. We got like five dishes and every one of em was a banger. Also the service was awesome, George was the goat. Definitely go here if you get the chance.

Great tasting grilled fish burrito. The fish was grilled and seasoned perfectly and paired well with ingredients. Their Serrano salsa was great as well. Relaxing place with large monitors and place to chill.

Living in AZ, we have our share of good Mexican food restaurants... Evaga might just be worth the 5 hour drive to eat here! It is some if the best Mexican food I've had outside Mexico. We had four different Tacos and they were each more delicious than the last. The Baja Fish taco... Outstanding. The Pulpo Taco... Divine. The El Taco Sur... OMG! And the Shrimp Taco... Heavenly. Try their selection of salsa to bring to tacos to a other plane if existence. My wife had never tried Nopales so they brought some out for her to try. Just excellent food and excellent service! If we lived within an hour's drive, we'd be regulars here. Even from AZ, we'll definitely be back .

Evaga was a wonderful surprise. From the chips and salsa to the last bite of my entree I couldn’t believe how each bite got better and better. I had the birria tacos and loved it so much that I drank the consume! My husband got the 3 taco plate with pastor, carne esada and chicken all were delicious but his absolute favorite was pastor. Being from DC there is not Mexican restaurants of this caliber and we definitely recommend it for locals and all who visit!

This has to be one of the best enchiladas I’ve had in years! Everything is homemade and made fresh to order. The tortillas and green sauce are absolutely to die for. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you Mike for putting so much love and care into your food!

I was born and raised in Oceanside and I am kicking myself for not coming here before now. Evaga has been opened for 2 years now and this is my first time here. The food was FANTASTIC the atmosphere and service were AMAZING! We will definitely be coming here again very soon! Rob was very fast getting our drinks and food orders. My husband and myself are somewhat picky when it comes to our tortillas but Evaga has honestly the best hand made corn tortillas we have tried in Oceanside. It is definitely a must try!

Came in with a party of six. Everyone loved their food. The service was great and very friendly. I had tacos, all three were good but the pastor taco was fantastic. Both th corn and the flour tortillas were soft and tasted very fresh and delicious.

Evaga is the real deal. George (one of the owners) waited on us personally and recommended the Molcajete. All I can say is that, it was absolutely amazing. Never had anything like it. This place is a MUST visit. We will be back when we come on vacation again next year. I’ve had some great authentic Mexican food and George and his staff serve up a truly enjoyable and tasty experience. Thank you for the magnificent service and food. May god bless you for everything you do to give back to the local community as well.

This restaurant has really Great Food. The atmosphere is fun with Big Screen TV's to watch the games. My Brother Ralph, His wife Heather, Mother-in-Law Joanne had a really Great Time here yesterday for Heather's After-Graduation Celebration. 1 of the owners of the Establishment, George was nice enough to come over and offer Congratulations to Heather & he took a Celebratory Shot with her. Our waitress Jennifer was really kind, attentive, helpful, courteous, friendly; WE Loved Her. We all had a Very Great Experience for it to have been our 1st time there.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. The customer service was unmatched. The food was pretty amazing and they give you large portions. As evidenced by the photo, I didn’t leave anything behind. Drinks, not pictured, were also really good!!!!! I had the honor of meeting the owners, who are locals. They are pretty awesome and very personable, which added to everything I said above. Go check this place out…you won’t be disappointed.

We came Up to Oceanside, California from Chula Vista San Diego area, we have a lot of Mexican restaurants in Chula Vista, this was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Their homemade burritos are so delicious! None of the food was greasy. Everything was made fresh! Guacamole was to die for the chips and the salsa were delicious. Service was wonderful and the Pepsi had a big bite to it when you drank it and those of you that drink so don’t know what I mean when I say it has a big bite to it! Just really pleased with the restaurant today thank you so much!

We came Up to Oceanside, California from Chula Vista San Diego area, we have a lot of Mexican restaurants in Chula Vista, this was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Food was phenomenal. Handmade tortillas finally! I also had the blackberry Evagarita, definitely recommend. I had to order two! Hehe. Big thanks to Kirstyn for her kindness and great customer service. She checked up on us multiple times, making sure we were good. We will be returning soon.

I liked it! Food My wife got 3 tacos. The beef was the best. I got the mixed enchilada combo plate: one chicken and one beef. The beef was better. The rice was good, the beans were good but I prefer black beans. The tortillas were handmade and amazing. Drinks We got margaritas. They were out of the one I wanted but I got a mango margarita. It was nice and strong and mango-y. Service Good! No complaints. Atmosphere Not exactly romantic, but it wasn’t too loud. A good place for a casual date or hang. Recommend? Yes

Came in for an early dinner and to try this place out. Have heard many things via social media. For starters, we got complimentary chips & salsa. The salsa was good IMO, though the rest of the table thought it was too spicy. For drinks we chose a Mexican Candy ($15) and Hibiscus Margarita ($14). They were okay. I think not really worth the price (barely any buzz). I'll probably stick with a beer next time but that's okay. For food, we ordered the Chile Relleno & Cheese Enchilada ($20), Queso Birria Taco Plate ($18) and for me, the Fajita Mixta ($26). Everyone liked their food. For me, I've had better fajitas elsewhere (Mariscos Hualtulco is my fav) but these were still good (except no green bell pepper for some reason). I noticed the *new* menu price for the fajitas was $29 (Mixta), but on the bill it was still $26 (old menu price). So be aware, the new price is coming obviously. I want to try the Molcajete but $38 is a stretch! Atmosphere was okay. It was a Saturday and although it was early, I expected a more vibrant feel, but maybe that comes later in the night. There was plenty of seating. Parking was okay, but the lot was oddly packed however even though the restaurant was not. I would come back to try something else on the menu, but with so many great Mexican options in our area, they need that extra something to attract more patrons. A happy hour with $10 margs for starters would be nice.

came for a cocktail or four. the place was rockin'. people everywhere enjoying themselves and carrying on. I had a mezcal 'Mexican Candy'. I enjoyed the cocktail most definitely- "L" (yes, just "L") made our drinks. Funny guy. Great service. Even met the owner and he's awesome too. A photo he took is on the wall in there. Bet you won't be able to guess which one it is...

I just ordered the quesabirria tacos. 3 tacos for $18.50. one line very little cheese and the juice you dip it in was tasteless. There's a food truck right down the street from this next to the smog place that has delicious quesabirria tacos. I didn't drink any alcohol because I didn't want to spend $15 on a drink so I can't comment on that. On a positive note they don't allow dogs inside the restaurant. I definitely appreciated that!
