If you want to have a great dining experience. From beginning to end. This is where you want to be. The service is great. You get greeted with a smile and great service. Immediately the chips and amazing salsa gets served. 😋 The food is scrumptious. Best restaurant ever. Never did I imagine when we got inside ,that I was going to have an amazing dining experience. In a way that every spoon full is heavenly. Also the restaurant it's super clean. I had ropa Vieja And omg all I can say is 💯 I'll be back.

This place is as authentic as the food at grandmas house. It was a nice cold day. Overcast, chimney on, coffee has brewed, hot chocolate ready to be made. You know you want soup, but which type. Albóndigas? Pozole? Or caldo de pollo? So you buy all three and share with the family. I personally wanted the albóndigas. Kids wanted caldo de pollo, and wife wanted pozole. Everything comes separate. Rice on the side if you want. Onion and cilantro on the side with some slice of lemons. Order for pick up and ready in 10-15. The rest is simple. Pour into a nice bowl at home and enjoy the deliciousness! Definitely a go to place when you want some soups!

The presentation to the taste is amazingly delicious. Bring your family here they take care if you. They come and ask if you need anything so they don't forget about you like other places do.

The food is good, there are some things to correct in the service, I know they are going through some changes, it’s just a matter of getting organized and that’s it, good place to eat with the family👍🏽

The decor is pretty simple. Bright blue walls and a hand painted mural on the side. The location is pretty small, maybe 10-15 basic tables that wobble a lot. Just take a seat and they serve you pretty quick. Their menu is a worn out price of paper. Their waitress was nice and quick, a bit awkward but that was more my own fault. 😅 The red burrito I ordered was great, the salsa was pretty mild. The salsas they give with chips while you order were mild as well. Decor: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5

Good food and friendly service. The atmosphere is fairly basic, but comfortable enough. We ordered the Chile Colorado, Burrito Especial, and Flautas. Good comfort food with plenty of leftovers to take home. They also gave us chips with red and green salsas. Both salsas were flavorful and not overly spicy.

Word to the wise...Don't believe everything you see on tiktok. Came here for two reasons. 1) we had stopped at the casa jimenez in menifee and thought that we couldn't go wrong here. Big mistake. 2) Saw a tiktok about how good the food was etc,they made it look so good. Well low and behold we came on a rainy day. So the only seating was inside. We walked in didnt know if we had to get our names on a list so we just waited to get acknowledged. The waitress did see us but couldn't bother to tell us we had to be put on the list. That was the first mistake. They sat us down took 15 min for even menus to come to to the table. There were two servers and the space isnt big so for them not too even bring menus right away is kind of frustrating. We stayed decided to give them a try. We'll wrong choice. It is mediocre food and so over priced for what you get. The beans were not good at all. The older waitress had such a bad attitude. For that alone I wouldn't return but the quality of the food just made that an even more definite decision. Would I ever return no. Id rather drive further to a location who had such amazing customer service and delicious food than here with the mediocre service and food. Next time. I wont believe everything I see on tiktok and obviously that was my fault.

The food flavor is just average. The door give good portions though. Service slower than usual for being a small place. First time coming here, I saw an Instagram post and wanted to give it a try. Iw is it had been better. Maybe I should give it another try. We'll see.

I called in an order, picked up the order and it was wrong. Called the restaurant to let them know, verified the order for the 2nd time on the phone, my husband drove back to the restaurant the order was still wrong. I went back to the restaurant told the owners daughter, not once did she apologize she instead lectured me how it was my fault the order was wrong when I verified with her on the phone initially and again when I called to let her know the order was wrong. Since the owner change the service has gone down drastically. A simple apology for me having to go to the restaurant 3x would have been enough.

Whoever the new manager is and changed the recipe sucks this was my favorite place chilaquiles was amazing now its gross please go back to old recipes your ruining a good restaurant. The employees are and have always been awesome but these new recipes for the food has definitely downgraded

They definitely need a sitting arrangement. All tables were taken, an employee told us that it’s first come first serve, which is ok if you’re on a waiting list to be seated but they dont have that so if you get there you dont know who was there first or before you (if there’s a lot of people waiting), then you awkwardly have to be staring at people eating to see which table will be getting up to free up space, which can be very uncomfortable for the people eating and for the one staring. Since no one knows who got there first everyone just rushes to the table, felt like everyone was at war for a table. Went there twice and we left both times. Never going back again unless they create a waiting list.

First time here with my family and we were absolutely disappointed. We were asked to write our name on a list when we first arrived. We went to wait in the car and when we came back we were told a new group of people had been sat down. My sister asked about our place in line and was told they were no longer using the list. The server was very rude. The food was mediocre and my grandma almost lost her teeth plate with her undercooked cocido.

My first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. I ordered the chilaquiles divorciados with carne asada. The food was cold and they did not add the carne asada. They they have vary poor customer service they its a 30 minutes wait for them to take your order and over an hour wait for your food.

The new management has really changed this place … and not for the better. They should have followed the old saying, ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.’ My go-to dishes were always the Huevos a la Mexicana and cheese enchiladas, but the new sauce on both is terrible. My husband’s carnitas used to be crispy and flavorful, but now they’re just chewy. Our waitress was wonderful as always, but unfortunately, the food has gone downhill. We’ve been loyal customers for years, but sadly, we won’t be coming back… management needs to restore the original recipes

Wow the new owner really messed up. It's only been one week since the change. This was my 1st time there and I was very disappointed. The beans? They don't taste good anymore. The rice? All clumpy. The chips? Different and not as good. I always order a carnitas plate. This time it iwas like one giant chunk of meat, not crispy at all, they didn't fry it at all. It's like they sucked all the flavor out. I won't be going back. After 10 years of great food, alas a great place has been taken from the community.
