What an awesome place. So well run by Johnny which creates a safe place for family to have fun late into the night. Entertainment and karaoke is amazing with Teresa creating memories that will last forever. Simply the best bar in Villamartin Plaza. We will be back.

Great staff very friendly and no problems getting served. In October it is quiet but we enjoyed it and went after eating most evenings.

Absolutely love the pub. Friendly staff especially Johnny. Great entertainment. We really loved Teresa on the karaoke and this kept us dancing and laughing most nights. Room outside for a more quiet drink if that's what you prefer. Open late which is great if you like to stay out till about 3am. We will see you all again soon Shandon Bells. Thank you

Un rincón desconocido para los que no son ingleses....pero a la vez un lugar genial. La terraza tranquila y encantadora. Por las noches siempre hay algún espectáculo, sobre todo en verano.

Nice place for a drink friendly people and good service

Drinks hear are a little more expensive than other bars in the complex. But nice atmosphere, karaoke on some nights and other nights they have live music. Nice out door seating as well as inside. I found this one of my favourite bars.

The waitress was lovely but they didn’t know how to make a few of the cocktails on the menu which was disappointing, if we are unable to have a drink that’s on the menu then please take it off the menu or train the staff on how to make all drinks. We had a nice time here and the outdoor area is comfortable

Overpriced drinks

We met some family here at lunchtime on a Saturday. We had to send the first Rose wine back because it was off, the replacement was simply awful... Left undrunk by not 1 or 2 but all 3 ladies!!! The beers weren't good either! Cue early exit, never to darken their door again.

Was told by girl with glasses a pint of guiness was 6 euro yet £8.77 came out of my online banking ripped of keep away

Terrible rude service, my wife was in the toilet and a male staff member entered and evicted her and her medical help. Disgusting place avoid at all costs

Expensive

Most expensive bar in the plaza, unfriendly staff and obnoxious and aggressive 'locals' who don't wait their turn to be served. Will not return.

Never see anyone in this bar except for staff or in high summer, when everywhere is busy. The bar itself is grotty and small and don't think they serve food, just booze. They have a couple of nice covered outside areas. Seem to have just the one CD featuring Ronan Keating, Bewitched and the Cranberries which plays on a loop all day and night - blaring music through outside speakers (although to no customers??!!) seemingly just for the benefit of the staff. In a Plaza full of lovely bars and restaurants I can't think of a reason why anyone would go here.

I wish I could give zero stars. Expensive and rubbish. You're not paying more for a better quality and certainly not for service and a nice environment. Would never go back there again.

Having spoke to the owner several years ago expected this to be the upcoming place in Villa Martin was dismayed by my first visit back tonight when ordering 2 cocktails the manageress said she would try her best however they were the worst I had ever tasted & for 15euro raised my concern only for the money to be snatched from the table & advised she would try again I refused & the drinks were poured down the drain, ruined first night of holiday & can't believe how rude theManageress was

Absolutely Shocking attitude of the Manager yesterday when challenged over a 50ml (yes measured) of Larios Gin with 3 large ice cubes... Rude, rude man.... Avoid the place...

Lovely bar, attractive outdoor space, but totally atmosphere less. No live music in the bar according to bar man on duty. No one else in the bar. Biggest turn off was the jigger measures and prices. £6.95 for a gin, much more expensive than at home. Staying in villamartin plaza for 1 month. Was in the first night have not and will not be back. There are many more enjoyable places to go.

Idem que le commentaire précédent.. Aucun acceuil. On vous niaises à l entrée.. Après m être rendu au bar, brasserie car il.n y a pas de carte à table, j ai pu choisir à l aveugle deux bière. OK l endroit est atypique et les grand écrans diffusent du sport. Mais en temps que belge, pas de cacahuète, pas de fromage et un acceuil glacial.. Et bien entendu une facture de 21e pour 3 bières et 2 coca.. Que dire..

A warm Irish welcome awaits – NOT! I don’t often write reviews but had to write this one. What can I say… overpriced, patronising and unwelcoming. We asked for cocktails, he didn’t make any – even though they had a cocktail menu. We were told by the owner that he didn’t run a ‘sports bar’ when we asked to watch (and listen to) a sports event, despite advertising sports events and a large screen outside. In fact, we were told that unless the event was appropriate he wouldn’t turn the sound on in the seating area outside as it would drive his customers away – he only had four customers inside the bar that day, and no one outside, so not sure why he wouldn’t want us to stay? We were a family of six Irish visitors (with elderly parents and a child) and I have to say that it was the most unfriendly welcome I have ever experienced in any bar. We asked for a non-alcoholic drink which he wasn’t aware of in any of his pubs in the South of Ireland. He referred to getting them ‘up north’ - yes, we are from the North of Ireland, and we too are Irish. As for the prices, completely overpriced, it was over 35 Euro for 2 pints of beer, two Bacardi Breezers two lemon Fanta’s and a packet of nuts and crisps. We stayed less than 5 minutes and left. Don’t waste your time and your money in this place. If you are looking for a friendly welcome, great service, great prices and the best cocktails in Villamartin, go to Wee Rock Café beside the NovoGolf complex!
