Pollo Tropical

See picture below of chicken breast served. The new quesadilla was all cheese and cost was $7.99. I do not recommend spending your money👎.

I wish I didn't have to make this comment, as I've been a POLLO TROPICAL customer since the early 90s in Miami, but unfortunately I felt poorly served at one of their stores in Orlando. The store was supposed to close at midnight, and I arrived there at 10:55. I ordered a combo meal, which includes a side dish. But they simply didn't have any side dish, and they even told me that if I wanted, I could only have rice and beans. The cashier and the guy who was cutting the chicken even seemed to laugh in my face. I was outraged and left to eat at KFC! I don't know if they're underpaid or poorly trained, but the service was terrible, so much so that another customer also left without buying anything. It's very unpleasant to make this kind of comment, but if the owners don't know, one day the doors will close!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Came in today and my chicken was undercooked. Not one piece but all the pieces still had blood on them and pink centers. This was served. Secondly, the entire establishment was filthy. I had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels to clean my own table. The bathroom was gross and the entire place had food everywhere. I never leave bad reviews but if you WANT salmonella, then please go to this place.

It was the worst experience ever. We were waiting for more than 30 minutes and when I asked for the food, they said that there wasn’t any soup or salad when we even paid for it. We did not receive any information from manager or employee until we asked for food. Worst customer service in Orlando!!!

This the worst service I have ever have. Every time I come here and do pick up there is ALWAYS something MISSING. One time is the drink, the other the utensils, or the sauces, food. I swear is something, every single time. And good luck trying to get their attention to get whatever you have missing back to you. Is impossible. I have spent 20 minutes just waiting there for them to ignore me and leave. Definitely not worth spending my money and time in this place. Instantly I know is going to be horrible the second I come in this place.

Wrong items and missing items on both meals. Wrong chicken, missing sauces and missing beans. Yellow rice and vegetables weren’t cooked all the way or was old because it was crunchy. Chicken didn’t taste fresh despite picking the order up on time.

Ordered food to dine in on 01/23/25 and I noticed my rice was burnt which is not normal at other locations. I spoke with the manager Amber and was told that’s how they make their rice and would not remake my order. Extremely rude and will not return. Food and service was terrible, who wants to eat burnt food ? I rather go to Pollo Campero where the food snd service is better!

I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant today. We ordered our food, and when we received our plates, one of them (because it was a low-quality disposable plate) broke in my hands. We went to ask for napkins to clean it up and for a new plate, and they told us they would come clean it themselves and help us. We waited for an hour and they never resolved anything. I went to ask an older Cuban woman dressed in red (who seemed to be the manager) for help, and she was very rude to me and still didn’t solve my problem. We had to speak to another man to try to get some help. It was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

This is the second time I ordered delivery for a large order and I did not receive the food. Since I ordered on pollo tropical site, uber will not help me. It was nearly impossible to get someone at the restaurant to help. I was able to get someone in catering for I help but I am never ordering delivery again. The partnership with uber does not work and it’s impossible to get service. Update: I spoke to the manager who explained that the food was ready but never picked up by uber. The food was delicious and he was very helpful in resolving the issue. Plan to pickup in the future.
