Authentic Moroccan Cuisine & World-Class Hospitality This restaurant is a rare find—we truly felt like we were welcomed into the family! My friend and I came here during a work trip to Orlando, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff and the owning family are wonderful, warm people who guided us through the authentic menu and offered spot-on suggestions for our Moroccan wine. The food is sensational. I cannot stress this enough: you HAVE to try the Muhammara and Hummus; they are the perfect way to begin. We also shared two different savory clay pot dishes that were absolutely delicious—tender, perfectly spiced, and incredibly satisfying. As full as you are at the end, you simply can't leave without ordering the baklava. Seriously, don't live with that regret! This place is an absolute must-try when you're in Orlando for an authentic meal and truly amazing service.
I recently visited this Mediterranean gem and was absolutely blown away! The ambiance is fantastic, with live music that adds a wonderful vibe to the evening. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for family gatherings or special events. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious and memorable night out!” By the way… besides the great food, the service was abosolutely the best part. Thanks Brade and Nabil for making us feel like home.
The atmosphere is amazing, Moroccan themed restaurant with beautiful decor. The food was delicious. We ordered the Taste of Land, all of the meat was so tender, juicy and flavorful from the chicken to the beef and the lamb. It came with rice, salad and few condiments like garlic aioli, olives, baba ganoush etc. We also order tea which came out hot and was a perfect accompaniment. We would definitely eat here again next time we are in the area.
The food is beyond amazing!! If you are in the area you have to go and experience the food and ambience. The staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. If you don't go, you're really missing out.
I did not took a photo of the menu, and do not remember the specific name of what I ordered, but is was like a mix of grilled meet. The food was really good, my only mistake was to try a green chili, it was extremely hot, not a good idea since I do not like too spice food. It was a little expensive in my opinion, mainly considering the amount of food.
A wedding weekend to remember made even more beautiful by The Emerald. I traveled from New Jersey to Orlando to marry the love of my life, and after the ceremony, our families gathered at The Emerald to celebrate together. What we experienced wasn’t just a meal. It was warmth, care, and connection served with every plate. The food? Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The kind that reminds you why good meals are meant to be shared. Our families came from all over the States, and every single person left smiling, full, and impressed. That alone says everything. But what truly stood out was the people. The staff attended to us with genuine kindness and attention. Not robotic hospitality, but real human care. Every request was met with patience and a smile. They even made sure my young nephew had his own chicken and fries, which meant a lot to his parents (and to me). In moments like these where love, family, and celebration meet, you realize food is just one part of the experience. It’s the atmosphere, the people, and the heart behind the service that make it unforgettable. The Emerald didn’t just host our family. They became part of our story. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking not only for great food, but for an experience that reminds you what hospitality truly means.
This place is for sure hands down amazing hidden gem! Food was so tasty and the service 10/10 nabeel and yusuf were both amazing! Will definitely be back when we are back in Orlando! Thank you
The food was deliciously prepared, perfectly seasoned, and with beautiful plating. We had the Mediterranean sampler to start and the Land Feast. Reasonably priced and enough meats for 4 people! This was my husband and I engagement anniversary and the special dessert was so delicious with chocolate cheesecakes, toasted almonds, and baklava. The ambiance is relaxing and good music. The waiter Ian was attentive. Overall can't wait to come back again!
Had an amazing time celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant is beautiful, delicious food and the service was outstanding. We were all very impressed with the quality of service and hospitality of Nabil. He made sure we had the best experience possible. Live music and entertainment was super fun! 🤩
If you’re looking for delicious Moroccan cuisine, this is the restaurant for you. Staff have a smiley face and good service. Food is delicious and flavoursome. Brought some friends over and we all tried it for the first time. Everyone said hands down it was an amazing experience. The lamb and chicken Tagine was absolutely amazing. Dipped with some pitta or baguette 🥖 There’s live performance on Saturday with belly dancing on Friday night. There’s also a little area within the restaurant where you can buy Moroccan items. It was a good night with good food. Would recommend it 👍
Great, first experience at this restaurant! Very cool layout and decorated well to make us feel like we hopped a flight and left the country. Our waiter was the owner Bahdri who was very involved in the business and spent time with us at the table. He explained the menu and recommended things for us to try based upon what we told him we liked. We were out on a date night and really enjoyed it all. Will definitely go back!
This restaurant is a great Moroccan hangout with terrific food. The ambiance was great, all decorated in Moroccan style. They have a small gift shop with real Moroccan items. The music was a little loud but we were sitting directly in line with two speakers. Service was good. Parking is ok. There's nearby parking if needed. Didn't get a chance to take photos but I got some of the most important thing...the Food!
I had the pleasure to find a hidden gem near SeaWorld and the Convention Center: Emerald! Moroccan restaurant and hookah. The family restaurant serves fantastic and authentic tea Moroccan food and a peaceful and serine atmosphere throughout the weekdays. Saturdays the venue turns into a more exciting scene. Wit with lights and music or great for anyone, having a party or night out. Or the quiet time for feeling “at home.” I had the honor meeting Youssef as host. Ask for him anything you need! I love the Moroccan Salad, of vegetables with vinaigrette. Fan of teas, they serve true flavorful and minty Moroccan Tea. My favorite at Middle East and North Africa foods is Shish Kabab and Shish Kafta. Emerald knocks them out of the park, served were hot, delicious seasoned deliciously and served with rice and salad. The best dishes on the menu were the true ‘authentic’ Moroccan Tagines. I had never had traditional clay pot cuisine, and the Lamb Tagine was absolutely delicious with sweet aromatic fruit flavors with apricot, dates and almond complimented with delicious spices. The lamb fell off the bone, and I devoured the pot! If you are nearby the hotels or resorts, you can take the wonderful food to go! Finally, it’s not all about the food, they serve tables use hookah Shisha in different flavors. Youssef was in charge of the Hookah sides and prepared it the “proper” way well packed, heated, and customizable. Very different from very “rap-style” or nightlife commercial lounges visiting tourists may only know. There is great food, a bar, music to relax vibe to also with your hookah. Anyone who wants to experience both exquisite homemade and authentic food in a peaceful environment. I recommend Emerald to anyone. As for Youssef, who is absolutely spectacular, or any of the kind staff. 10/10.
My family and I spent over 2 hours at this fantastic restaurant. The food is Amazing. Authentic flavors and freshly prepared, their desserts and turkish coffee are highly recommended. Service was exceptional with such friendly staff.
A fabulously delicious meal! I highly recommend it. I had the lamb tagine, so tender & flavorful. The pistachio cheese was delightful.
Great authentic Moroccan food in a delightful beautifully decorated space. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Food is amazing i went back a second night. Except i didnt get to take pics the second time. Had merguez the first night, lamb and chicken the next night. Lamb was superb and i rarely order chicken in restaurants but that chicken blew me away too. And nice Moroccan beer (it’s $12.99 a bottle, but you cant find it elsewhere). The guys are super cool too. They mentioned belly dancers on Thursday/Fri. Walk from Tru Hotel 5mins away.

one of thr best restaurants we have ever been to in Orlando. Authentic food...authentic Mediterranean music...great service...friendly staff. We will defiantly be coming back.
Emerald is a Moroccan restaurant filled with traditional decor from on the walls to the seating. The service we found mixed. The waiter was sincere and friendly, but it is not the normal American standard of being attentive and fast. We sat for a while before first being seen, orders taken, and a very long time to get the check. It was nearly a 2 hour dinner which I’m not used to. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed the appetizer sampler, the salads, and all of the great meats and kababs. I highly recommend visiting for the great food and unique experience, but plan to be there a long time.
Visited on 02/15/26. Loved the ambiance, vibe, food, hookah, and Arabian music. The fries were delicious! Ordered a mixed platter with rice and a whole fish fish was okay (not a big fish fan), but everything else was perfect. Highly recommended, especially for the great hookah service.
Food was AMAZING 👏 Staff was Awesome and Super Friendly👏 Atmosphere was Fun, Mixed with Quirky 👏 Went here on a whim and I'm so happy I did! If you enjoy good Mediterranean food, a more relaxed "at home" dining experience, and want a lounge/hooka vibe look no further!! Mahdi was my host, waiter, and server. He knew exactly how to take care of me and my lady during our experience at Emerald! Responsive at the right times, funny and casual attitude, dressed to impress, helpful if you're not sure what to get. Couldn't say enough nice things about him. The food was soooo satisfying if it's Mediterranean you're after, perfect flavor, great portions, good value in price for what gets served to the table 😋 The Atmosphere/Vibe is eclectic, it is ment to give you a fun, different, more authentic, and unique experience. Don't expect you're average restaurant with drab, sleek, modern ascetic.. this place is full of culture with a twist of a night club vibe. Unique and Fun are really just the best words.
The food was good. They market the restaurant as “upscale,” but it wasn’t. The lamb was good, nothing special. It did not have much seasoning. The vegetables were frozen they weren’t not fresh. However, they were seasoned good. The beer and wine selection was definitely not upscale. The service was good. It is definitely kid friendly.
When we sought Middle Eastern food for a family gathering, we discovered Emerald and decided to order takeaway for a party of nine (4 adults and 5 kids). The experience, from food quality to service, was commendable. We opted for three mixed grill platters, each priced at $55. The portions were generous, ensuring everyone was well-fed. The chicken and kafta stood out with their rich flavors and tender texture, although the meat skewers were somewhat small in comparison. The accompanying rice and salad were fresh and flavorful, adding a delightful balance to the meal. The only minor letdown was the fries, which didn't quite meet the same standard as the rest of the dishes. Service at Emerald was efficient and friendly, contributing to an overall positive experience. Additionally, the restaurant offers plenty of parking, making it a convenient option for those driving. In summary, Emerald delivered a satisfying Middle Eastern culinary experience, particularly excelling with their mixed grill offerings. We look forward to dining there again and exploring more of their menu.
Loved this place, great ambiance BUT BE AWARE!!!!! I usually don’t leave bad reviews ever but they will charge you $30 per person as a cover on your bill without letting you know before hand, even if you still consume all of their services with drinks, food and the hooka. I BELIEVE THIS NEEDS TO BE INFORM BEFORE YOU ENTER THE PLACE NOT WHEN THE BILL COMES.
Title: Masters at Turning the Bill Into 50% More Expensive Orlando Arabian nights restaurant math is fascinating. First, they dumped the full 15% sales tax on the consumer (this is Florida — we know how taxes work, should’ve been 7% as everywhere else). Then came a $12 gratuity on a $66 bill, and on top of that, they suggest a minimum 18% tip calculated on the already inflated total. Impressive layering ! We were there with kids, couldn’t, didn’t want (and weren’t allowed anyway because of children to) stay for the dancing show — which might explain the gratuity, except they knew we couldn’t see it anyway. None of these upcharges were disclosed beforehand. They just quietly appeared on the bill. Lucky we weren’t that hungry to begin with. Would’ve spent a fortune. Food wasn’t bad or good. Standard from what had Service a little slow and lying much attention when trying to call them over
