The best grilled chicken and tri tip plate in the 805! This place never disappoints. The grilled chicken is fresh to order and the tri tip is served with au jus! The salsa is made fresh daily and the frijoles de la Hoya are just like my mama makes them, simply awesome. Two people can eat for about $22 and it’s definitely worth the stop in.

Had el pollo norteño for the first time because I always took my wife to el pollo Loco 🤣🤣🤣 was really really good and happy with the prices!!👍👍👍

This restaurant has great food. Tri-Tip, Chicken, Rice and Beans, that’s it. You can get served on a plate or in a burrito. The chicken is like El Pollo Loco but 10x’s better. Great food, great service and decently priced. Average amount of parking available. Great for catering too!!

What a great stop on our Christmas vacation to the beach. Looked up a highly rated spot that was open and found this one. I really enjoyed the chicken and the tri-tip very tasty and just seasoned enough to have the natural taste of the beef and chicken to stand out. It is worth the stop. I thought the weak area of the meal was the chips. I could just skip those. Both corn and flour tortillas where solid. My girlfriend had just a chicken and cheese burrito and she loved it. Thanks El Pollo Norteno for having a great restaurant and a very clean one as well.

Delicious compared to many other types of chicken similar to this, without a doubt it is the best. The cashier has a very ugly attitude when serving customers. The name of this employee is Magaly.

The girl on the register was awesome and very helpful and friendly the food on the other hand was not chichen was kinda cold and they give you three tortillas for a big portion of food the beans were OK chips and salsa were also good the chicken made me sick 😫 probably not going to eat here again

Update 06/04/21-price hike of $5 for family meal and portion on the steak definitely have shrunk. Got the family meal, love the portion of protein they give you but weirded out by the small sides and everything is in cups!? Don't need to be cheap with your sides, your keep your patrons full that way!

Wasn't too happy when I got home and found my burrito soggy & wet, normally I have no complaints at all in the 30 years I have been going here never once has this happened, but! The taste was still amazing even if I had to eat it with a fork. Gave it a 3 star for the taste definitely not the presentation.

Loved coming here after work but today the burrito was so small doesn't make me want to ever come back here $18 dollars with a drink to be served this burrito look at the pic speaks for itself. Santa maria pollo Norteño is better

heading out to del taco....Never got a bad order... I used to rate 5 stars.... Untill a few weeks ago... Now i keep spitting it out... Fatty peices not trimmed well.... Not cool.... Went back... Again... Bones in my burrito... So not cool.. Done Not cool...and yo, i did call to complain...but i dont want any more of your food so dont call me back....... Its late maybe ill just go to gas station for some chips.... Nah... Screw it ill have lifesaver n go to bed. Oh... Btw...i work next door at the constr project... But dont worry i wont spread it around.
