Kid-friendly prompts could have been slightly cleaner but not too bad great customer service
the place has been kept very clean every time I have been there. They usually get purple in and out of the drive through line quickly. For the most part I only go here for breakfast and coffee, but with the mobile order, I am in and out much faster as I don't have to bother with waiting.
This McDonald's was very busy but the kiosks were a great way to get our food fast. As we were going to sit down, the table was dirty, and immediately cleaned off so we could sit down to eat. I was impressed with the service. I will recommend this McDonald's to any New comers in Palestine Texas.
Clean, they had extra people who were out cleaning tables and keeping the eating area clean, I like seeing that. And the one cleaning the table were super nice, even offered to take our drinks and refill them for us, I didn't make them, but the offer was nice. They asked if they could do anything for us, never had that kind of service at any McDonald's before. Our orders were quickly given to us and everything was correct.
I had Austin wait on me in the curbside. Austin was very friendly and brought out our food with a smile. After hearing the ice cream machine was down… (surprise, surprise) he hooked me up with a shake. Thanks Austin for the outstanding service!

we had a problem with our order when the grinch meals came out, we went back in today and even thiugh they were out of grinch meals they remade our original order and were very kind and friendly and wonderful! we dont get to do treats very often, but today was perfect! All of the staff we interacted with were amazing!! Thank yall for making our day!!
I just want to thank the 2 ladies from late night shift tonight. i was having a really bad night and they saw that, went out of their way to go above and beyond to do something nice for me, that they didn’t even have to do. your act of kindness meant so much more than you know and im eternally grateful for people like yall two 🫶
This place is absolutely awesome! I know that it’s a small incentive but they packed My Son‘s happy meal in such a way that nothing spilled over, nothing was out a place, and everything was fresh! I usually always do a bad review on somebody but this time I wanna recognize these people, they are at 100% in my book!!!

Late night dine-in snack run with my husband on this fine Thursday summer night (Aug 28). The young lady working register. I didn’t see her name but she has long, long braids and was wearing a yellow vest. She was so very polite and professional. Gave the best customer service. I think her family was stopping in to get some dinner and you can tell her siblings look up to her so much 🥹 truly such a sweet interaction! Give that girl a raise, she’s going places.

Visited on 8/30 and service was as good as it could be. I seriously don't get all of these negative reviews except that they expect perfection and that simply isn't possible in a business that hire…
Most of the time this location gets their food out right and fresh. Every once in a while they'll give you the wrong drink or something minor like that but they're always nice about changing it. The mobile order service is really quick as well.
Fast drive three never had any problems but tha fries aren’t that salty and I do like my salt good staff tho
Usually my experience is good but this time they royally mess up my order. However, when I brought it back, the manager rectified it and even threw in some extras because I waited for so long. I HIGHLY advise they get rid of that attitudinal blonde guy in the front. He was the problem.

They were pretty rude today. Wouldn't let me have my mobile order. And there are a few times me and my sister would go up there at night and they wouldn't let us order. And im not predijuce by no means. But this only happens when the African American employees are working and won't let me order at night when there would be the same African American women in line at the window. Its not right. Our rights should be respected to
The lady who took my order was very polite. The gentleman who took my money was very polite. The chick who gave me my food and shorted me a ranch dressing that I paid for and tossed my food at me like I was on her nerves, not so polite. Not to mention all my food was cold. :(
Everytime come in a drive-through I have to pull to a parking spot to wait on my food it not like they’re cooking everything to order and I have to wait 10-20 minutes every time
It never fails, I get parked almost every time. Even just for fries. Not only have the burgers shrunk, the prices are very high. They are exceeding the value of the food. I'll just stay home for a while.

Even though this is a child's place to play. There is no changing tables in the bathrooms. There is no private place to change a toddler or infant at this location. It is always packed there's always a line and a Wate. Milkshakes are awesome french fries with code when we got them 😕
When you come to McDonald's you have french fries on your mind. I waited all day to get to Palestine to have some french fries while I was picking up. Give the people your money and they give you cold fries. Where is the quality assurance at McDonald's? Why can't they consistently manage and hold their team's accountable to quality control? I worked at three of them when I was coming up as a teenager and one thing they did not tolerate was poor quality. Is this a generational thing?
Food was good… keep in mind, it's McDonald's. The service was iffy this last time I came. I put in a mobile order and waited 34 minutes before I got it, and that was for a mcgriddle and a sprite. The staff might want to be a little more attentive to the time they spend joking and being on their phone while a customer is actively watching them, waiting for their order. Aside from this time, staff does need to work on being respectful of customers and should not be treating customers as if they are garbage.

The water that comes out of their drink station smells funny, it kind of tastes like dirt. They are either not filtering their water, or their drink station hasn't been cleaned in months. Yuck.

Food is A+ when they care to make it right, service is great between the hours of 2am and 11am so a late dinner or breakfast is the best time to have the mcdonalds craving, atmosphere not as clean as it should be especially where you make your own drinks

Extremely inefficient drive through. Took two other orders while I sat there. They did however get our food quick but the fries were cold.
Since they lost the guy with the Aspergers or whatever, named John. This place has gone down hill. Service is bad. It takes them a very long time to get the food put. It seems there are too many people trying to do too much. John had that place running smooth and he wasn't the manager. He knew that place like the back of his hand and all his customers. They should have promoted him or at least gave him a raise. Shame.
Service was terrible. The manager seemed to be stoned. 10 minutes after ordering from the Kiosk, I went to the counter. She was not sure which coffee I ordered and asked me to taste it. She then asked another person to taste theirs. She at least made another. The other employees were apologizing, she said nothing. Next time I will go to the Walmart McD's their employees are more professional and courteous.
The last 3 times I've been in I ordered the 2 cheese burger meal plain cheese only. 3 times I've gotten 1 with cheese only and 1 with everything. The ticket reads 1 cheese burger A.erican cheese only, and 1 cheeseburger. It shouldn't be that difficult.
It was about 10 pm i went through the drive through The person took my order, told me the total and told me to pull forward so I pulled to the pay window and I kind of wait a while and then the car in front of me pull it to the second window and leaves and next thing I know I see people seeking their heads out the window, and then they’re yelling at me from the second window that I need to move. Then the guy almost throw my food at me and then I’m waiting for the receipt because I am paid in cash and I’m waiting for the receipt and he’s just staring at me and he’s like and the whole time he has attitude and it was just really bad. I then proceeded to call the store back to let them know about this African American man that was in the yellow shirt with circular classes Who had treated me so poorly and I asked for the manager and the person who answered the phone said yes this is the manager and said that the person would be reprimanded, but it didn’t feel like my concerns were being heard. He was kind of just telling me what I wanted to hear so he could get off the phone, I’m not at the McDonald’s in Palestine by Chili’s. I hate to see this kind of service, especially since I’ve worked in the food service industry.
Slowest McDonald's drive threw I have ever been through. 45 minutes one time for 2 value meals and had to keep asking what we ordered as they delivered to everyone around us, another time waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks. Service is never friendly basically just take card without a word next window shoves your drink out and then next either says park or shoves a bag out window and closes window without a word. Food is different I taste than any other McDonald's too not sure what they do different but not good. Fries never fresh and always cold
Food and service was excellent! The main dining area was clean. The reason for only giving them 2 stars is the play area! Very strong odor of mildew in the play area and it isn't very clean! My grandson played on the play area equipment and afterwards his feet, hands and clothes were filthy!
Do not go here for dinner. You will have to wait way too long for any type of food. The service is non-existent they will always mess up your order and ALWAYS short you on food. Like 1 patty double cheese burgers Or just not giving you the correct number of sandwiches. If you decide to dine here, double check your order every time. I’ve eaten at McDonalds my whole life. Today I got the driest, chewiest and cold fish sand which EVER. It obviously sat under the heat lamp entirely too long. At this franchise we found stale food that had been under the heat lamps for quite a while. They also served us warm soggy fries. Not a location I would recommend at all. Very unhappy with this particular McDonald's...
Food is okay, sometimes it is cold because they make you wait FOREVER. You'll go foward and have to wait over 10 minutes for common and easy food. Or you'll park and wait for a long time. Pulled foward and had to wait, never got greeted until food was given. I get it may be busy but our food isn't that difficult. (It's slow even when it's NOT busy.) Got home, got the wrong orders. Ordered burger with no bacon, got bacon. We got the Minecraft movie meal and asked for the limited time sauce, never got it and also got a very crappy toy. (It's not the normal toy that comes with it.) Overall very bad service.
I go there three times a week,I get coffee McMuffin or coffee and burrito,two out of times the coffee is cold and the McMuffin is hard around the edges,I'm not one to complain but you order two things and I can't get it the way I want it gees,I tell them about it and it keeps happening.
This particular day that I went to eat there with my family was not a good day... They had made several mistakes with my food order, had to go ask for everything extra.. cups, ranch for nuggets and my apple slices on kids meal, and cold French fries, as well as the whole restaurant was very very dirty.. nothing was stocked in the drink area, no lids, no napkins, no ketchup cups, counter was full of spilt liquids and all the floor by it was wet and sticky.... At the time we were dying there we were the only people in the lobby.. Lots of employees in kitchen area only one cashier front counter person .. I ordered a cookie tote and this is how the cookies came out to us.... Just basically a hot pile of mess.

We work overnight. Almost every time we go thru the drive thru, they only take cash ... we get the drinks here quite often and they definitely overcharge people when their computers aren't working. Be aware of what you order and the price!

Paid for the 2 people behind me today. I see them paying for their order too while I'm waiting 10 minutes for my ice coffee. I back up to the pick up window and ask them why they charged them too. The lady in charge of drive thru said because the guy taking money did not tell her I paid for those orders. Didn't give me money back and charged them. So they put $ 31.00 in their pockets. Hope they feel good about themselves.

I showed up with 7 of my guys to order, and the lady started taking drink oders of all my guys instead of taking their orders individually. The order took forever as they were more worried about the drive through than the ones waiting in the dining room. When we finally got our food it was missing the 10 PC nuggets. Several people can back to the counter with messed up orders while we were there. We we went to ask for refills of our sweet tea because the drink station is closed off we were consistently ignored by several of the kids working in the back. After finally getting someones attention she rudely asked if we had our food to which we responded yes and that we just wanted refills of the sweet tea. The girl gave us a disgusted look and turned back around ignoring us again. With customer service like this the current minimum wage is too much.

Poor service cashier not paying attention alongside the pickes taste bad and was told bout this from a few folks as it was reported to the store and also they are over loaded with the mayo what's going on here McDonald's we need great store managers like the one in Crockett tx the new manager there she is an leader and she loves her job and is by the book and fantastic with customers palestine yall need to let managers lead your positions and managers need to step up and pay attention and relearn the job you step up to . Palestine store yall need to stop this poorly done and acting if yall know your jobs well and getting attitudes with the customers lots said but this place in palestine is messing up badly more then what the store is bringing in for the towns economy loosing money for replacement cause yall can't pay attention to your costumers.

Horrible location. The person that took my order was rude, the person that took my money was rude. 6 employees were standing at the first window saying extremely unprofessional things. Had to get pulled up into a parking spot even though I was the only person in the drive through line. Then, The food came out all wrong.
We went for the first time with my little daughter and the playground really had a super unpleasant smell, I do not understand how they can let the children go up to the games with that smell and even more if they are going to eat, they should close the playground.
Hi fabulous owners you can't reach. You need to not hire morons! I mean this with all earnest. Should you need to explain how to count to three not a good fit. If you have to tell them not to fricken bag cold and I am referring to slushes in the same damn bag with hot items (ie my fries, nuggets, burgers) they might not be a good fit. Always enjoy late night mcdonalds until tonight. After using mobile app to order, i went through the drive thru and proceeded to wait roughly 5 minutes for someone to come on the speaker. The man on the speaker had a very rude tone, but I said my code and pulled forward. There was 1 person in front of me and 2 behind me. Waited another 20 minutes just for the person to get 3 waters. Unbelievably slow inconsistent service
Edit: I HATE THIS PLACE. It always takes 30mins to get anything, they’re rude, have no urgency always mess up my order, don’t fill my fries, short me nuggets, and place my food in the bag where it dumps everywhere. HORRIBLE. No sense of urgency or hospitality. Food is okay if the order is correct and they don’t decide to pull you to a parking spot and forget about you, and forget about getting a frappe in under 15mins, but what can you expect when the managers are fresh out of high school.

This isn't fast food. When they ask you to pull into the "reserved drive thru" you can expect a wait. Closer to 20-30 min.

Was unable to order through the app. The cashier said that it was down that it was a third-party so they didn’t have any control over it. I ordered five sandwiches, all of them dry, 1 add big mac sauce, and a large fry. I got to the window and the total came to $17, nearly $6 more than what the app was going to charge me. When I asked why it was so high, I was told the extra charge is for the sauces (although the condiments on the app are free) because I didn’t order any chicken nuggets. It didn’t sound right, but I asked if I could just have however many sauces I could get without being charged for. The total came to $14.75. I was asked to go forward to the second window and my food would be out shortly. I waited 20 minutes for my order, and when i checked the order, not only were there NO SAUCES, everything was cold, fries soggy. There wasn’t even 1 ketchup for the fries, and no lettuce on the sandwich I paid an extra 35 cents for. I called inside and spoke to whoever was on the phone and she said that they charge $.35 extra for each sauce and the reason that the food was cold is because they had one person working in the kitchen. I completely understand as a business owner being shorthanded, but that’s not the time that you nickel and dime someone for sauce to put on dry sandwiches or dip fries in. This is extremely disappointing especially because it’s the only McDonald’s in town and I’m going to have to go somewhere else from now on. Horrible customer service, except for the cashier who was extremely nice. Just because you are short handed doesn’t mean you can throw garbage in a bag and charge extra on top of it for something thats always been free, especially when I only asked for 1 sauce per sandwich and 1 for fries.

Apparently they can't follow the app and don't have contact with them when they are out go something and have to substitute. The manager wouldn't even give me her name, and was hung up on 7-8 times to get what I think is a fake name and told to call back Monday which my kids didn't get drinks, I usually don't get Happy meals but did it for tota to surprise them and it wasn't even any fo the toys listed. No condiments, again, no drinks for my kids at all when we live 20 mins away and they usually put them into the bags int they don't hand them to us. I wasted an extra 15-20$ for nothing and still didn't even get everything good wise I should have. Plus 8 need to call back on Monday and speak with someone else but I have no name for who I spoke with nor who I am supposed to speak with Monday? The app hasn't worked on months and finally worked which I use for extras and bonuses and to see what extra stuff they have at the time which is all pointless. To get told they were trying to help but didn't do anything to help.. no one there cares because it's not the new managers job coming on duty to cover anything from the last shift which that manager was still there as well. Extremely slow, get ready to spend at least 30 minutes in line waiting on food. Then when you get your food it is cold. Very poor service and apparently they don't care about their customers or the service or food they give to them. Today is March 18th and the power went out at McDonald’s in Fairfield. I went through the drivethru line as I do almost everyday to order an ice caramel coffee on my way to work. I’m no different than most people and I have an addiction to something. Mine is the ice coffee. I spend 100.00 a month at this McDonalds on this one product. When I was at the outside kiosk I was told the power went off and they were not serving anyone. I politely said ok and pulled up to the second window to see if I could order my ice coffee since I had $3.13 in exact cash and I know the coffee is already done and the caramel is hand pump and the ice is already made. This was not an all day power outage just a short 10 minutes and the power was back on at this point . I was greeted by a pleasant girl who serves me regularly and asked since I have exact change could I have the ice coffee. I was then interrupted by a manager who seemed to be severely stressed by the whole power outage and told me it was more complicated then most people understand and she would have to make phone calls and other stuff to get things running and that most people understand this but some don’t.Knowing her rudeness was directed at me since I asked for the ice coffee. I politely responded I understood. I figured since one manager was sweeping, the employee looked frustrated and the young manager was not handling the situation well I would go to the next McDonald’s. So here is what I also understand. I understand that this McDonald’s is paying employees and 2 managers to look at me like I’m stupid asking for something that takes 2 minutes to make while they have the product available without the use of power. I understand that while they are not selling anything this McDonald’s is loosing money paying the staff that are employed for the time they are down. I understand that this McDonald’s is paying managers that do not have the capacity to understand that my loyalty and 3.13 a day helps pay their wage. I understand that if you have employees that can not think outside the box to be able to make an ice coffee that requires zero electricity and take cash and then ring it up when your system comes back on you have serious issues. I understand that her rudeness lost me as a customer. I will now get my daily ice coffee in Mexia where I told my story to their employees who laughed at the ignorance and told me they could make one if the power goes out. There is a lot I understand. I understand how a calculator works to add tax if the computer is down. I understand the dynamics of a business because I have my own ice cream/snow cone stand. I understand if my power goes out there are things I can and can’t sell. I understand my customers are the only reason I can pay my bills. I understand customer loyalty. To clarify the power was on when I asked for the coffee. The coffee is made and sitting in a warmer where you push the lever down. The ice is scooped by hand. The caramel is in a pump container. The milk is in a bag . The 2 managers plus the employee were just standing there looking at me while the rude one was being patronizing. I know it’s just an ice coffee , however it was more the point of them not being able to complete a simple task. It took her longer to tell me people don’t understand then it would have taken for her to make the coffee.
I didn't think you could mess up a kid's cheeseburger but it was inedible. Cheese was cold, bread was stale and the inside was soggy and wet like all the ketchup had soaked in from sitting a long time.
This McDonald's location the owner of this location really should start doing frequent surprise visits. Especially on weekends, evenings and nights. The service is absolutely horrible! You get told to pull up in one of the numbered spaces to wait on your food. While the vehicle at the last pull up window waits for 10 minutes or more. You're waiting and they either come out and give you a pen and paper to write your order down because who knows what happened and they lost track of what was ordered by who. Or they come tell you it will be a little longer. I took my kids last night for food and was told to pull into a parking spot. We waited 5 minutes then the poor guy comes out and tells me it's going to be 7 minutes because the machine is not working that does the chicken sandwiches. I said ok thanks, and we waited. 7 minutes was actually 15 minutes. While other vehicles pulled in waited and got their food and left. We watched at least 6 different vehicles park, get their food and leave while we waited. It's not like it was a huge order! 5 reg chicken sandwiches, 1 specialty chicken sandwich and 1 burger. No drinks, no fries. Almost everytime we've gone the last few times has been an issue. Also when you go to the drive through it's what you choose to do for whatever reason. You shouldn't have to go inside because your order is messed up, they forgot something or you just didn't get your order at all. Which we've had to to several times before! Management or something really needs to change! We've never had an issue if we go during breakfast hours, but lunch and especially dinner hours are absolutely horrible!! This is the worst of the worst locations I've ever been to. It's pretty much why I stopped getting food there for myself. But that's what my kids wanted so I endured the horrible service. There were also a few of the chicken sandwiches that didn't have anything on them but the chicken and bread. Do better please! My kids still for some reason love the food. Palestine is growing and getting many other places, people have options and if things don't get better this location won't make it.
Computer system was down. They were processing orders, Very very slow….
2nd time in a row now. Not a clean table to be found. Floors are deep in food scraps. So sad people have to eat this way
Horrible service at night, the staff are young and mess around, orders take forever, they smell like weed, visiting outside with friends… it’s actually crazy the management hasn’t fixed this issue.
So not only will they cancel your order WHILE IN LINE, the refund takes 1-7 days. And the app will not tell you they canceled your order. As a matter of fact, the app will tell you they are making your food and it is too late to cancel. So No Money and No Food. The line is wrapped around the building multiple times per day. They are always messing up orders. They are rude about it when you try to get the food you actually ordered. Management treats the employees like trash. Whole place has bad vibes. Would not recommend wasting your food money here. The only good things about the whole place is the free wifi and the children's play area as it is the only indoor play area in Palestine.
Hair in my kids burger and fries tonight. Kids threw it up when they saw it in the middle of eating. McDonald’s wanted me to pull out the hair in the vomit to bring it up for a refund. Ridiculous. I know it’s a small town corporate place but that doesn’t make any excuses for hair. I live 25 mins away. Thanks for nothing McDonalds.
I eat and drank my drink and it was only thing I eaten and it started fw my stomach and i started projectile vomiting ran to the sink andwhole throwing up and start recording and when I tried to call them ant at least ask them to do a product check they hung up on me 2 times
I will not return to this Mc Donald again, it took 30 minutes to give me my food and why I asked about my food and the girl got angry
No one expects perfection from fast food services such as McDonald's, but my experience a couple days ago was far from good. The food was very salty, making it difficult to eat. On top of that, I was met with a very rude crew member, she goes by Emberly. She seemed too interested in talking to another male co-worker than to come help me when I politely asked and apologized for disrupting her conversation, in which she reacted very rudely for. So, I never got the help I needed during my visit and the food was like taking a drink from the ocean. I'm very disappointed in this experience.
I have been to this location a dozen times and my order is always two mcdoubles and a medium fry. No matter what time of day you come or how busy they are you have to pull to a drive thru spot and wait 20-30 minutes. Today I placed my order at 5:10 pm it is 5:42 pm and still no food.
Never get order right kids to busy worrying about there phones then getting orders right expect to take back order more times then not an quality is probably the worse McDonald's I've ever seen its like they make the patties all at once an you get old cooked meat a couple times the cheese was not even melted on the burger
Manager named Heidi, (not sure how to spell it) allows the cooks to eat food off the line and touch customers food without gloves. Seen a dead bird just laying on the floor where crew was at. Seen a crew member named Trent openly vape in the building while on job. Bathroom was disgusting (literal fecies on wall). And food was served to me completely raw. And wouldn't allow kids in play area as I have never seen it get cleaned.
I placed a mobile order at 10:10am and I sat in line at the drive through and waiting to get to the speaker when I got to the speaker I tell the guy I have a mobile order I give him my code and he tells me my order has been canceled because it’s past 10:30am I look at the time and it’s 10:32 so I waited in line for 20 minutes just to get told my order was canceled because it’s 2 minutes past 10:30
WORST place for door dash. one of 2 of the WORST door dash restaurants. ***OMG, the man manager, young , skinny, black man? is pitiful! he doesn't pay attention at all. serves the drivethru, mobile orders, in house, and everyone else BEFORE he even starts door dash! he also lies and put into the app that the order is ready when it is 11-30 minutes from being ready!!!! he also sets the time for pick up wrong. he sets it early to make it seem like he is on top of things, like he is on time, that's a LIE! he does all this to make himself look like he is doing a good job. and what this does is force dashers to be dispatched and then sit or stand for 10-30 min for one order! it also makes customers mad cuz the expected time for their food is not right, not even close! these are lies to make it look like he is doing thing right.!!!, he is being 100% dishonest!!! NOW this is not ok, its rude., dishonest, and disrespectful! door dash allows restaurants to push a button to pause dash orders if they get to slammed to handle them, BUT McDonald's is greedy, they don't care that dashers who do NOT get paid a dime hourly, its all delivery tips! they do not care if we stand there for 10-20- to even 30 minutes! waiting for one order!!! NOT COOL! first of all that shoots any chance of a tip from our customer who has to wait so long. it also makes door dash wonder what's up, and it causes us to lose a lot of money!! who can afford that?? I can NOT!. *** just today I had an order complete message and did not get my food for 11 more minutes! that's 11 on top of the 4 I already had waited! this means one order will take approximately 40 min to finish??? no hourly pay and that order may be a short order, or big mileage order. so we may make 2 dollars? for the whole thing after our gas??? that means we make wayyy less than minimum wage!? ALSO we get punished if we unassign orders, show up late, or decline an order, SO NO we don't have a choice, we are forced to accept orders we do not want or we fall to silver status and all we get is $2, 3, and $4 order offers. that does NOT even pay our gas!!! how is this ok? it shows me that McDonald's is selfish, rude, and disrespectful. to all door dashers, and also to the dash customer! its always a few that make a good thing not work. good job McDonald's! well done! :( LUCKILY it has been reported that soon all dashers will be able to deline orders for 2 chosen restaurants. that means we can hit a button that says we no longer pick up orders from ? YOU CAN BE SURE a ton of us will be choosing McDonald's! for sure! last night all 6 of us who waited 15-30 min for an order will certainly not deliver for McDonald's via door dash. so in the end all this dishonesty and disrespect will finally hurt the ones who are causing the issue in the first place. THANK GOODNESS! I am sick of the abuse! AND TO THE OWNER< right here are all the details you need! I don't need an auto generated response from a company owner who does not care enuff to send a real response!????
Drive thru should not take over 30 minutes to get a simple cheeseburger happy meal.
Walked in after a day of being at the park to be greeter by disgusting bathrooms, and playground area. Also had bags of trash just sitting on the floor by the playground area and tables were filthy
